Azoth had been mulling over that email about the dragon attack ever since she’d gotten it. She’d picked it apart, sentence by sentence, word by word. She’d taken an assortment of highlighters to it and scattered its bits among newspaper articles. After the dragon fight, she’d even done something she’d never done before; shared that information with two other supers and discussed it with them, for no price other than their aid in helping her discover more. The reason for this was simple: had she not obtained that information and spread it to the factions, one of the weaknesses of the dragon would not have been known and that fight could have gone much worse than it already had.
There were a couple of things related to the spreading of said information mentioned in the email that bothered her, but presently another issue was more pressing. Whoever had sent the email clearly knew much more than what was contained in the message. What information had been given to her had saved lives, and what further was hinted at was keeping her up at night.
Azoth had first brought the full email to the Pandaemonium Sanduleak, one of the two she’d given the information to in the first place, and then had found a second super, Geata, who also seemed interested in helping her. Neither were part of the Keepers and neither she knew especially well, so to discuss this with them felt extraordinarily odd. It was far from a fruitless effort, however, as they had not only pinpointed targets of research, but come up with a plan.
It was the dead of night. The security camera watching the back door of the large government building had already gone dark, and the lock on the door was entirely missing. Azoth had already passed out communication devices to her colleagues in case they needed to separate, and basic maps of the place for a similar reason. She’d made a copy of the cardkey the guard they’d knocked out had been carrying for each of them. Most importantly, she had requested both of them wear gas masks of some kind or another, and offered small ones that covered one’s nose and mouth like the one she was wearing if they required them. “So you don’t become collateral damage,” was her offered explanation. All they needed now was to find was a room of official files and records or computers of a similar sort, and a bit of time.
Their targets of information were fairly simple, but doubtless would be hard to find. The email had mentioned two supers; one who seemed to have some knowledge of the future, and the other, the actual sender of the email, an ability that could perhaps halt the flow of information or enforce a quarantine. Conceivably, if they could find records of a super with powers along either of those lines and get a bit more information on who they are and where they are (and if they’re still alive, given the state of Seaside), they might be able to track down means of contact with the supers themselves. Also of interest, the email had mentioned “government contacts”. Government agents working with supers sounded absurd to Azoth, but it was doubtless such people could make for both good sources of information and good resources. Finding even one such person, and recruiting them via words, intimidation, or a very large check, could be invaluable.
Azoth took a step aside. “The door’s open.” She whispered to her colleagues. “I’ll follow you in.”

SCHEME: Infiltrate this government building for further information on the given topics.

Sanduleak adjusted the gas mask through his helmet without complaint, though he was curious about her powers he wasn't exactly eager to see what they could do in a first hand experience. He also didn't want this mission to fail, this might help him pay off a bit of his debt with the little keeper, but the main thing was that it would hopefully get them some more dragon info and find the source. Originally his reason for helping was simply to help her due to debts but after reading the full thing, like hell he was going to let these freaking morons get away with this.
"Give the word and I'll cause the distraction in case we need to make a quick get away."
His power was the flashiest of the three and that meant he could do his job of covering their tracks a lot better while either one made an escape route. Though this was a ragtag kind of a team, it was sort of surprising how well they'd be able to work together.

Geata nodded at Azoth before stepping inside. He really wasn't sure what had happened to get him involved in this little mission, the past few days had been a blur to his recovering mind. All he was sure of was that he was now involved and that backing out was very much not an option.
Just as how he wasn't sure how he had gotten involved, he was very unsure what to expect. He knew the mission, and he knew that there was a reason for him to be wearing a gas mask, but as for what they would actually find inside? The possibilities made him a little nervous, admittedly. Luckily, they also made him aware, too.
He was involved. Might as well be useful.

Breaking in to government buildings was starting to become routine at this point. Arcanum's powers specialized in only a few areas, but those areas made her valuable. The only reason she ever ended up fighting people was due to her relative immortality compared to most other Keepers. Infiltration missions were her time to shine. She rarely had to worry about getting caught during any of this. Even if she did, it's not like the humans inside were capable of imprisoning her. There would be plenty of room to sneak past them and escape, try again another day.
Speaking of additional attempts, tonight's mission was essentially a repeat of what happened at city hall. Between now and then, Arcanum had not learned enough about what happened to Seaside to satisfy her curiosity. She already knew to expect the worst, but needed to hear exactly what the report said. They couldn't possibly lie to themselves. If the government considered that old news by this point, well, it's not like there would be a lack of information to steal. There was always more dragon news to find.
Arcanum found a window to slip herself through, silently entering the building. The camera designated to observe the room had it's lens dissolve before it could notice her. This time she didn't bother to disguise herself as a dumb guard. Tonight was all about getting in and out as quickly as possible. Hopefully the mission would go a lot smoother than the last break in.
OPPOSE: As if I could trust Azoth to tell me anything. Let's steal what they're after.

Curiosity had always been Anonymous’ one true emotion that he can show to anyone around him. Ever since that dragon fight happen, something had been on his mind; well, more than one single thing, actually. As much as he wanted to find out more about the true nature of dragon, there’s also the matter of an email between two people who know the situation, yet decided to not get themselves involve. As far as he concern, their reason of not getting involve must have something to do with that strange vision that he saw in the dragon’s head.
So tonight, he would like to find out more on the identity of these two mysterious shadowy figured behind the scene. Figured he should come to the only faction that might be responsible for keeping information secure around here: the Keeper. If he can find one of the Keepers, eventually he will get to the bottom of this mystery. As luck would have it, Anonymous noticed a familiar hooded girl sneaking around a government official building with two other familiar figured.
“Guess even little Misty got curious about the email as well,” he thought to himself. It is rather strange, however, to find a Keeper working with a Pandaemonium and that Portal guy to sneak inside the building. Guess even Keeper have their connection to other faction as well, remembering the last encounter he had with Azoth in the drug-bust situation.
Of course, seeing Azoth got one step closer to the information than him is rather irritating. Finding the whole situation might be a fun time messing with Azoth, and perhaps even get away with the very information she’s after to see that look on her face, he simply couldn’t resist.
Getting inside a government official building isn’t easy, but since he got in the city hall before, he could get through their silly security system. At least he didn’t have to worry too much about getting caught in camera; knowing Azoth, she’s probably already disabled the security everywhere she goes anyway, all he need to do is to follow the broken camera. He didn’t really expect he can get through this situation without a fight, but at the very least it would be entertaining.
By knocking out one of the patrolling guard and disguised as the man, Anonymous can easily make his way toward the security room without breaking a sweat. Once there, he can cause all the guards monitoring the security cameras to sleep by increasing their melatonin level. Seeing the backdoor’s security camera and one on the first floor is blacked out, he get himself ready for the encounter.
OPPOSING: because it’s always so much fun ruining a Keeper’s day, even dear old Arcanum that on the same team.

Sin Eater's power didn't lend itself especially well to field work, but considering that this opportunity had shown up practically on the Sanctum's doorstep, there was little to stop her from handling this in person. Rumors had been circulating regarding some possible information to be gleaned, and for something this serious, Sin Eater would prefer to get it herself rather than rely on traded favors to earn her way into the loop.
She wasn't surprised to sense other Keepers there once she arrived at the government building. Sin Eater had become rather adept at identifying people by the persistent flaws her power detected, whether physical or mental. One bundle of sensation she immediately identified as Azoth, and the other entity without any discernible physical flaws at all would be Arcanum. Their movements didn't seem to be coordinated, which would indicate that they weren't cooperating. And if they weren't cooperating, they'd probably end up competing.
Sin Eater hid in a nearby alleyway as she considered how best to approach this. Given the nature of Arcanum's power, it was much more rare for her to be indebted to Sin Eater in any capacity. Helping Arcanum here would put them in a rare position. Sin Eater made her decision.

When neither of them make the initial step forward, Azoth sighed. She guessed she was the one who had set this up, she would be the one to lead it, regardless of her power being better suited for the back of the group.
Azoth tugged on the door and pulled it open. The threshold broken, their heist officially begun, fog began to fill the area. She filled the area behind them first - guards with guns were less of a concern than being followed.
“Very well, follow me.” She said, and stepped into the dark hallway. The fog was thick enough to leave little droplets of water on any metal surfaces within the narrow hallway. Anything electrical in the walls was cut, from cameras to motion detectors and lights. All common practice and common signs of her presence. The map in her head gave her a few rooms likely to contain the information they were seeking, one of which was only a few walkways away.
The first of the guards were less. Four were hurriedly and quietly discussing something on their communication devices when she turned her third corner. They hadn’t seem to seen them yet - they were at the far end of the hall, but that was the direction they needed to go. The fog would hide their exact locations, but it would only take one of them to cast a look in this direction for the guards to notice.
Azoth clicked her tongue. She would’ve liked more time before she had to deal with unpowereds.

Geata had a reason for not taking the lead. He was slightly lacking in memory of the exact layout of the building. It wasn't that he hadn't tried, he just wasn't great at remembering maps. It was something he was trying to figure out how to explain when Azoth decided to take lead after all. Deeply ashamed, Geata marched onwards behind her.
He couldn't figure out how to apologize about it, either.
When they rounded a corner and came across some guards, Geata did some quick thinking. He was lucky enough to come up with an idea.
It probably wasn't a good idea, but still.

Anonymous can already see Azoth’s present when the chain of security cameras started to shut off on their own. Of course without a perfect line of sight, he can’t really do much from here. Even if he got there, she’ll probably hide herself among those stupid fogs of her anyway along with whoever working for her. If he is going to out-smart her, he needs to be clever.
A voice from one of the unconscious guard’s radio started to talk, possibly to report their position:
“Charlie, we’re over at the C-Wing checking on the power generator; is Camera 14 got back visual?”
Anonymous looked over the security screen and find Camera 14 to be the very one looking at the back door. Obviously when Azoth turned off the camera, these people were arrived to check it out. Since this is a government military facility on Malachite Isle, the security level must be high if they’re to make sure no intruder get inside the building.
Right then he got an idea; he might not be able to approach either Azoth or whoever that working with her, but these guards probably armed themselves for any type of situation. After all, they should know that their base is on the Malachite Isle, where rumor of Keeper headquarter is somewhere close by. He had read about the situation when a local prison got break in by supers, so the security guards here must be ready for another super infiltration.

As she sensed the points of data representing Azoth and Arcanum beginning to converge inside, joined by multiple other points moving with suspicious suddenness, Sin Eater leapt into action. She sprinted from the alleyway to the rear entrance of the building. Her target was a door marked as a fire exit, clearly printed with a warning that stated an alarm would sound if it were opened.
That was of no concern to Sin Eater. She pushed through, but the alarm was quieter than expected. It sounded as though the alarms on the far side of the building weren't working properly. Azoth's work, no doubt. It served Sin Eater's purposes just fine.
The hallway was deserted except for a lone security guard, but Sin Eater was ready for him. The expression she wore on her face was one of fear and confusion. He reacted predictably, reaching out toward the approaching school-aged girl with a concerned question already forming on his lips.
In that moment, Sin Eater jabbed her arm at the guard, a precise spear hand strike aimed at the throat. Despite how rarely she went out to do field work like this, she was still in excellent shape - flawless shape, one might even say. And while her brute strength was still limited by her small stature, she was plenty strong enough for this purpose. She was rewarded with a satisfying crunch, the sound of the guard's windpipe collapsing.
As he collapsed and began to choke to death behind her, Sin Eater continued moving forward without a second glance, already thinking about how to seize control of the situation.

Arcanum wasn't lost, she simply had no idea where she was going.
Admittedly, she didn't have much of a plan going into this encounter. Somewhere in this building must be a room full of computers, right? If she gained access to one of them long enough, she could take it with her and examine the thing later. Maybe ask one of the other nerds if they could crack the inevitable security locks in place. Considering how much information must be contained in each little hard drive, she could afford to share some of the credit.
If these government officials were going old school and had folders of paperwork lying around, that would be even better. Eating a bunch of papers was much easier, and she could start reading while they were still inside her body.
Sliding around the next corner, one of Arcanum's current sets of eyes noticed the lights up ahead shut off. As far as she knew, nothing she had messed with should affect this part of the building. Did someone already notice her sneaking around here? No, reality never worked out like that. She needed to expect the worst possible scenario, because that was what waited for her.

Sanduleak had a hand, hidden underneath his cloak, to his chest as he followed the keeper, he couldn't help that the old wounds were still aggravated from that fight, he still had a long flipping road to recovery and going along with this plan so soon probably wasn't his best idea. Well least it appeared simple enough, the three of them should be able to easily knock out any guards and steal the data with no issues. Right?

As Anonymous watch the security cameras carefully while listening close to the radio, he suddenly heard some commotion happening outside. Taking his eyes off the screen for one second, he might have miss what happen on the screen. Looking outside, he can see Azoth and two other supers making all kind of noise. It took him only a few second to realize they were fake copies, since they have no thought in their mind what so ever.
“Charlie,” the voice from the radio spoke up again, “We come across the intruder; our weapons doesn’t seems to do anything to them. We lost visual: they seem to disappear from the fog.”
Anonymous recognized the fake copies from earlier, and beside Azoth there was that Portal boy and the masked Pandaemonium. If that Portal boy is here, that would’ve explained how the three of them vanished suddenly.
“Charlie here,” he spoke in the radio, “be advise they might have accomplish that can teleport themselves elsewhere. They’re also can make fake double of themselves, so make sure what you see before you is the real thing.”
Guess this is the only down-side of using these unpowered guards to move around fighting against three supers who are capable of creating illusion, fog and teleport around. However what they lack in power, they make up for it in number. Anonymous feel quite excited from this situation; this feels like a chess match between him and Azoth. Looking through the monitors once more, Anonymous started to talk to the other guards close by in order to provide the soldiers more back-up as he promise them. If their weapons are useless, after looking through their arsenal, he had a small idea that these guys can do.
