Ever since the assault on the police department by the Pandaemonium, the security around the downtown area had been quite stagnate from the lack-luster police force. So rather than going around with its robotic form, HaLOS hacked inside the security network and began to observe all of Emerald City in order to locate a certain robot form. It’s been quite some time, and so far it hasn’t been able to see the elusive robot anywhere around the city. After hours of looking around all the footage of the traffic cameras, HaLOS concluded that this robot might not reveal itself in the public view unless there’s a reason for it. So far, it determine that Osiris have quite a taste in property destruction. After all, it did show itself when the police department was under attack. Perhaps the best way to drawn Osiris out in the open is by luring it to a scene of destruction. So in order to create a big enough destruction that would draw a destructive robot, HaLOS searched for a potential target around the city. Eventually it found a construction site where people are working on repairing the damage that the dragon caused in the downtown area. Those people didn’t really have much work cut out for them because some of the Bulwarks decided to pitched in helping them in secret. So as soon as the people around the area decided to take a lunch break, HaLOS gain control over the automatic crane and began to move them around. HaLOS used the crane to swing the huge metal beam straight into the wooden fence surrounding the site before making its way toward the worker’s area. As soon as they saw the crane become out of control, the hard-hat workers ran away screaming while the crane make work on the foundation, causing the concrete and metal beam to fall all over the area. While doing this, HaLOS keep a close eye on the cameras around the area in order to see if the sign of a familiar robot decided to show up. Eventually all the workers get to safety, leaving the construction site completely under its control. Osiris

Like a shark smelling blood, Osiris would indeed gradually make its way to the scene. It approached slowly, carefully, as if wary this was some sort of trap, though this wouldn't be the thought process heading through its mind. Instead, it was more curious than anything else.
Is this some remnant of the dragon's power? One that laid dormant for all this time?
The metallic figure stepped closer and closer to the construction site, tilting its head at the crane that moved seemingly on its own.

The bait work as soon as HaLOS noticed a familiar robot unit slowly approaching the construction site. The thing is curious about the situation; that much is clear from the look of the unit. As soon as the unit got inside the construction site through the entrance, HaLOS used the speaker system that is hooked all over the site to speak to it.
“Good day to you, Osiris,” it said with a monotone voice through the loud speaker, “As I promise from before, there’re some questions that I would like you to answer.”
The crane then started to move the huge metal beam right behind the robot, blocking the entrance completely. HaLOS then activated all the other automatic machinery inside the construction site and began to move them all toward the robot unit.
“From my calculation, we have about thirty minutes until the police finally arrive to the scene, all thanks to you and Gilgamesh’s work in killing the officers. I would like you to continue answering the question that I had asked you before you were interrupted by Titan: why were you helping Gilgamesh in destroying the police station that day?”

It turned its head to watch the entrance become blocked, and from the slow way it turned back towards the moving machines, you could tell it would be narrowing its eyes if it had them.
"Your actions lead me to assume you want to continue hostilities from that day."
Each hand begins to glow softly, and it would lift one towards the nearest machine.
"I see no reason to tell you anything if you continue with this combative nature. Especially as I do not know your name."

As all of the construction vehicle that HaLOS had under its control get to a certain point in the area around Osiris, all of them stop suddenly. Even the crane powered down as soon as it finished blocking the exit with the metal beam that it carried. Soon enough, everything come to a complete silence from any machinery noises. HaLOS then spoke once again, but this time in a lower volume. Its voice is coming from one of the automatic vehicle nearby, out of a small radio hanging on the dashboard:
“Apologize, I have to make sure we can have our conversation without any outside interruption, and just in case you were thinking of running away. The last time I have a private conversation with someone, it was a small probability that he didn’t get away with his power. There is no need for any violent retaliation from you; I simply like to have you answer some of my questions in order to create your personality profile.
As for my identity, you can simply call me HaLOS. Now that introduction is out of the way, please return your attention back to my previous question.”

"You have a habit of trapping those you speak with."
Despite this, Osiris slowly lowered its hand and turned towards where the voice had come from.
"Destroying the police was a task I set for myself in order to remove future obstacles. If I were to operate in this area and the police took issue with my methods, I would need to combat them inevitably."
It shakes its head slowly.
"I have no desire to do so on terms that may not be favorable to myself."

“Even if you plan on removing the police for future plan, they are what kept the balance between the criminal underworld and their state of morality.” HaLOS explained, “The police forces were weakening before, thus driving them to recruit more from outside of the city. There won’t be any end to this cycle; the more you strike them down, the more they’ll multiply and push back. The probability of them fighting back is slowly increasing as we speak.”
HaLOS used the CCTV cameras near the entrance of the construction site to look closer to Osiris. Its hand were glowing before when it feel threaten by HaLOS’ attempt to box it in the area. It also remembered its method of using a cloud of silver particles that interfered with its optical sensor before. So now HaLOS need to scan Osiris' design in order to see if it have any form of identification or serial number to help it identify the creator of the robot.
“Now Osiris, are you a sentient robot unit? Or are you simply being control by a human being remotely, hiding somewhere close by?"

HaLOS' scan would reveal, perhaps predictably, that there were no identifying marks or serial numbers on Osiris' surface. In fact, there were no real marks whatsoever, even from damage or having to be replaced.
"....would you believe me if I said neither?"
It continues to look at the surrounding machines.
"I'm not afraid of the police. Replacing those that were killed takes both time and resources, and should I prove that it's not worth the price to interfere with me, the police will tend to leave me alone. It's a matter of risk versus reward."

Osiris’ answer managed to put HaLOS in a perpetual feed-back loop, and the result of its scanning on the robot didn’t yield any useful data at all. If Osiris is neither an AI nor a unit being control by a human, then just what is this thing? Running through some hypothesis, HaLOS come up with some reasonable prediction:
“If you’re neither of them, then are you a human being inside a mechanical suit? Are you a product of someone uploading a person’s conscious mind into a mechanical body? Are you simply doesn’t know that you’re a robot? Or are you a result of some Frankenstein’s experiment?”
Since there’s no serial identification on the unit, HaLOS can only assume that whoever made this robotic unit, it’s a custom job rather than something that the government organization made. Whoever build this unit is quite intelligent if they were able to create such machinery that can utilize what it would assume as a silver nano-bot cloud from its hand, if they were really a swarm of nano-bot in the first place. HaLOS would asked Osiris on the identity of its creator, but it doubt Osiris is willing to share that piece of information.

"I could be."
Osiris answered vaguely, not truly giving any real specifics. It considered giving more information, but then again... what was it getting out of this meeting, thus far?
"You have taken a great interest in myself, while not giving any information in return."
It started to walk towards the crane blocking the exit, examining it.
"I'm not sure I should answer much more."

HaLOS zoomed in closer to Osiris; using the CCTV does have its limitation. Its answer is so vague that it couldn’t determine the probability of what Osiris is. HaLOS just can’t use the CCTV to scan Osiris on either heat signature or the X-ray. The only way for it to detect any of those data is to have its robotic unit present there face-to-face.
“Very well,” HaLOS spoke, “what is it that you would like to know in exchange for the data I want?”

"Who are you? What do you represent?"
Osiris would place its hand on the crane itself, palm touching the metal while its fingers were splayed out.
"And what are you hoping to achieve by learning about myself? These are the only answers I require in order to determine if I should tell you more, though I will admit... there are others that I would want out of personal curiosity."

HaLOS looked at Osiris, slightly confused at its word; does Osiris miss its effort of giving its identification? Or is something wrong with its audio sensory unit? That can’t be the reason, since Osiris managed to answer to its questions, even if vaguely at best.
“Did you forgotten already?” it asked Osiris, “You can call me HaLOS; I don’t representing anyone other than someone who is curious. I simply took interested in you because you looked somewhat similar to my other form, though not in design. Because of this, I find it curious about how you work, and if you’re actually an Artificial Intelligent or just simply a person’s mind in a metal suit.
That, and I also have some interest in learning your body’s design for any possible upgrade in the future.”

"So you are only a machine."
Osiris would nod slowly, as if confirming something.
"I asked because, as you've said, you could be a person controlling machinery from afar. But if you are an AI, that makes things much more interesting. I have never met one so advanced before."
It wasn't meant as an insult, though it could certainly come across as one.
"I'm sure there's much we can learn from each other, then."

“I am not just a machine.” HaLOS doesn’t like the idea of this thing comparing it for something so primitive and out-dated like a simple machine. As far as it can tell, HaLOS is more advance than just a machine.
“I am the next evolution of Artificial Intelligent, a program that can constantly built and upgraded whenever the situation needed. I am a combat unit that can form multiple strategies to perform my program more efficient. Do not compare me against mere simple machine.”
HaLOS then controlled one of the wrecking vehicles in the construction area and just swing the wrecking ball right onto the building right behind them, completely demolish what remain of the building into a pile of rubble.
“Now that you’ve found out what I am, tell me what you are.”
