At this point she was running out of things to collect in here, which meant it was time to move onto the next area. The other super in here wasn't of any concern if he was just going to stand around and stare, so she was content to leave him alone for now. After grabbing a few more things, she darted towards the door, getting ready to empty out another lab.

Either the effect of Dullahan's depowering beam wasn't as strong as he had hoped, or else he was being targeted by a second enemy super. The sensors he had set up to track his own vital signs showed that something was messing with them, and he felt sensations of tiredness and exhaustion that he thought he had left behind with his old, obsolete human body.
"We should wrap this up quickly," he transmitted down to Aurora. "I'm being counterattacked by some unknown power. I can only withstand this for a limited duration."

What he was expecting was a huge chunk of the concrete wall flew toward him with high velocity; what he didn’t expected was a hail of laboratory’s glassware started to shower on him. Some of these beakers and test tubes still have some chemical inside them, so it’s obvious that most the chemical covered him from head to toe, along with a few broken glass that he need to look out for on the floor. These chemical give some painful burn on his skin, but it’s nothing that can’t be healed over time.
Of course Aurora was going to leave the bloody room as soon as she finished with her mess, leaving Anonymous drenched in these foul-smelling chemical. It’s a good thing that he didn’t have a nose on his face, otherwise it would be noxious enough to make anyone gag. However, the smell won’t be coming off until he got home, and if luck isn’t on his side, people would find out where he lived and such from the noxious smell.
“Great, just when my dry-cleaning bill isn’t high enough,” he exclaimed with frustration.

Plane dude didn't leave, but apparently, his beam wasn't trying to kill her. Maybe it was just a giant flashlight. Well, just to be safe, she should probably finish driving him off. Despite a growing feeling of discomfort, Envy continued trying to drain as much as she could. Once the power activated he should feel worse. Eventually.
. . . Any second now.
After a while of standing around doing nothing, Envy frowned and stared at the palm of her hand. It wasn't as though she expected to see anything to come out but. . . something seemed off. Normally, she absorbed things without even meaning to It shouldn't require this much effort to use such a basic function. Was it the alcohol? No, everything felt the same until--
Oh. Oh no. Envy visibly started sweating at the idea of losing control again. This effect might be worse than getting vaporized. Being stuck here without all of her powers readily available sounded like the most miserable thing imaginable. There had to be a way to fix this mess.

The fumes from the vial rose up into her face quickly enough that she managed to breathe some in before she could notice. Aurora quickly threw on the gas mask that she brought along to help her deal with Dullahan's nerve gas, though she didn't expect to be using it so soon. Even the small amount she breathed in was enough to make the room spin. Despite that, she refused to slow down. She had to work to do and a minor setback like this wasn't going to stop her. She continued at the same pace, only running into walls or tripping over her own feet sometimes. She was pretty sure the next lab was down this way. At the very least, this direction was darker, which meant it was probably the right way given there should be light from the hole she created to enter the building.

It was a good thing Anonymous managed to get through Aurora’s head in order to dodge out of the piece of concrete hurling at him. As soon as he retained his balance from the sudden movement, he noticed a small gas canister breaking through the glass window and landed near him, emitting out a green familiar gas. At the very least since Anonymous didn’t have his nose form in his face, the gas didn’t really mess with him enough before he quickly rushing out of the room.
Closing the door of the lab behind him, he can see Aurora is stumbling around the hallway. It’s seems that the prototype gas work just as he was expecting, quite a good outcome from his first field-testing the prototype. If she thought the gas mask is protecting her from any further neurotoxin that he will throw at her, then she’ll be in for a huge surprise soon enough.

Victory! Envy raised a fist in the air to celebrate getting the plane guy to stop his beam. Even if that was a coincidence she still wanted to take all the credit. Not like there was anyone else around to argue that point. It made her feel better about tonight, and that's the most important thing, right?
Although, his new attack was completely different than the one before. Envy didn't know what that gas would do, but it couldn't be good. Regardless of any lingering curiosity, she should probably escape before it fully covered the area. There was always an opportunity to find out next time.
The people who worked in this building dealt with all sorts of strange chemicals. They must have some way to handle an emergency gas leak.

“Drat,” Anonymous silently cursed to himself, “seems like Dullahan’s gas is going to be quite a problem.”
Anonymous looked back into the room that he just closed behind, and could see the green gas started to leak out of the crack below the door. These Padaemonium have officially interrupting his work to the point that he won’t be able to complete his research in time before the whole building either got swarm by police or become a wreck. However, it wasn’t such a total loss; he still have another vial of the compound he made in that lab, and he managed to save the formula onto his flash-drive before that room got wreck.
As long as he got these two things on him, he can still continue with his work as long as he can get himself into another laboratory. The only thing he need to worry about now is to find away to leave with the data. He might not be able to find out more about what the chemical company might be working on in their data, but it wasn’t really his intended target anyway. As long as there’re still chemical laboratory out there, he has all the time in the world to continue his work.
“Well, only one thing left to do,” he said to himself as he flipped the silver coin in order to decide on what method he should do next to get out of the building in time.

It almost felt like cheating. They couldn't have a proper showdown of who had the better blaster. Envy had plane guy beat when it came to breaking things, but dude's beam always turned hers off. Not terribly useful, aside from being super annoying to deal with. A small part of her wanted to stick around and continue trying to blow this guy up. The resulting explosion would be so satisfying to watch, imagining it was enough to make her smile.
But no. Even a slightly intoxicated Envy knew better to pick a fight she (probably) couldn't win. Besides, the sparkly girl wasn't even here. What was the point of staying here if her meal ended up getting away?

Aurora continued to rush down the hallway, and slowed once she came to what she thought was the next door. She immediately turned the door into particles, since doors weren't important to the structural integrity of the building, and thus were fair game for taking along with her. With the door gone, she rushed through it, continuing to leave bits of broken glass behind her, only for her to realize that there was no floor on the ground below. Quickly, she called her aurora to her feet to spawn something to jump off of so she could get back into the lab. It was difficult, much more difficult than what she was used to dealing with when she jumped off of buildings, but she did at least manage to grab the ledge, even if it did mean her hands were full of glass shards now.
Pulling herself up pushed glass into her arms and knees as well, but that was the least of her worries. Just trying to figure out which way was up was becoming increasingly difficult and it was making her feel sick. So much so in fact, that she had to quickly lift her gas mask as she ejected the contents of her stomach onto the floor. It took her a second to pull all the glass out of her arms, but even with that she wasn't in much condition to fight. She'd see the mission through until the end of course, she just needed a moment to recover, get her bearings, and figure out what to do next.

Through his thermal cameras, Dullahan saw Aurora fall and falter. That was troubling. If she wasn't going to be able to continue fighting, then it would fall on Dullahan's shoulders (so to speak) to see the mission through.
Fortunately, even if Dullahan's power wasn't as well-suited to wanton destruction as Aurora's, it could still make do in a pinch. Once he was done here, this particular part of the campus would be entirely unsuitable for human habitation.
More mortars emerged from the top of his plane and began to swivel toward their targets.

Now that she had pulled all the glass shards out of herself, and felt like her stomach was settling now that it had ejected everything in it, Aurora slowly rose to her feet. She shut her eyes, and sent her aurora out in all directions around her, keeping all the particles equal distance from each other. She would be able to tell when they displaced, indicating that something was there, just in case whoever caused this tried to pull something again. Her stance wasn't as shaky as it was before, though it was clear she was still having to put in a lot of effort just to go straight. At least with her eyes closed the sense of vertigo wasn't as bad.
"Dullahan! I need you to be my eyes. Where's the next lab?"
Without a moment's hesitation she went in the direction he indicated, only opening her eyes once she was inside so she could collect everything she could. With the gas slowly filling the building she had to be a bit more selective about what she grabbed, but that was fine. They would at least lose everything valuable they had.
"And why did you have to use the gas? We weren't supposed to make it look like what happened before was because of us dumbass."
