Normally a crack like that would leave her concerned, and the pained cry after would make it worse, but at this point she was too furious to care. They just abducted her, as far as Aurora was concerned this was completely proportionate and appropriate retribution, especially considering what she could have done instead. Once again, if that was all they did that was all she would do. However, it seemed like these two morons needed to be taught the value of personal space and respect.
The first thing she noticed was an odd chill on her back. Aurora's coat was thick, flame retardant, and entirely too big for her; it wasn't too hard to slip a portal between it and her back on accident. Before she understood the implications of this chill, there was a sudden impact on her shoulder. Before she could even realize what it was, a sharp pain course through her body, locking up most of her muscles. She collapsed on the ground as she tried to take a step forward, but her leg didn't move in response. She tried to get back up, but it accomplished little more than making her twitch on the ground.
"Son of a bitch!"
Her words were slurred together, and not nearly as enunciated as normal. Her aurora started to seep off of her like molasses running down a jar, but kept snapping back to her. Aurora knew that's what happened when she wasn't controlling her aurora at all, so it was likely she was just having as much trouble moving that as she was the rest of her body right now. A couple of times she managed to get it almost a foot away from her before it snapped back. As much as she wanted to do something, it looked like she was going to have to wait until the effects of the taser wore off.

The swear was a sign of a job well done. Limen quickly pulled her hand out of the portal and jogged over to her fallen comrade, slowing to a cautious walk as she came close to the aurora. She watched the strange activity of the aurora for a moment, like a child watching a trail of ants, wondering if they should poke one to see what happened. Crouching down next to her, Limen did indeed decide to test the waters - and slowly and carefully poked the aurora. When that wasn’t an instant death, she let her hand sink in. Removing it, she moved at first a bit too quickly, eliciting a pained click of the tongue and a mental note that slow was going to win this race.
And Aurora, once the taser wore off, was very likely to not stick around by her own volition. Well, long enough to try to kick both their faces (or mostly her face) in, and then she’d leave. That was not going to do, and so Limen did something nine out of ten doctors would advise against. She pulled two strands of rope from her bag, brought with anticipation for this very thing and because it was always a good idea to have rope on hand, and, taking care with the sun sand, tied Aurora’s arms to her side and her ankles together with knots that would put boy scouts to shame and were guaranteed to keep bears out of her precious foodstuffs stuck in trees. It was about now that Limen was realizing this was really looking like a kidnapping. Or, really was a kidnapping. The lengths one had to go to to get Aurora to relax a little.
“Sorry, Aurora. Promise this was a last resort and only because we all care about you and want you to be happy.”
Limen did not, in fact, know the value of personal space. Despite her comparatively short size, she was also quite strong. Lifting Aurora, even with her absurdly heavy coat and strange taste in metallic shoes, was easy. And so she did; Limen picked Aurora up, hoisted her over her shoulder, and walked cheerfully (in place of trotting, for fear of jostling Aurora too much) over to Geata.
“Eh, I’m sure it’s fine.” Limen assured him without much factual basis to back up her claim (not that she cared), gazing back over the trees the aurora had shown to be but weak little twigs.
At mention of injury, Limen looked Geata up and down. Broken rib seemed about right, if the snap and location of the kick was anything to go by. But he was walking and he was talking, breathing normally, and not writhing on the ground in pain, so Limen’s preliminary exam put him as ‘probably not going to die’.
“I can probably treat you. Save you the hundred dollars for a doctor to give you advil and a slap on the back.” She gave him a grin. “Plus the Limen pharmacy doesn’t discriminate against supers. Or ask questions about how you may have obtained your battle wounds.”
Putting a hand to her forehead, she walked a couple of paces past him and looked over the treetops. “You see that little rocky cliff over there?” She asked, pointing. “That’s the spot.”
A few hundred meters away, a hill rose up about a hundred feet above the trees, before cutting off in a miniature rocky cliff face. The hill itself and a little ways around it was comparatively clear of trees, the top was nearly entirely clear, save for a single ceder who was growing there because it was a rebel. From the top, one had little obstructing their view, mountains to the left, and the lights of the city to the right. It wasn’t her absolute best spot in the area; that was up on a mountain about ten miles from here, but she got the feeling she may need to add Geata to her list of people she was physically dragging with her if she had picked there to go.
The hill, this time of year, would be covered in soft grass and wildflowers. The best spot was right in the middle because that’s where the grass was tall, and one didn’t need to worry about dropping thirty feet because they rolled a bit too far to the side. This is where Limen would immediately go, and where she would gently set Aurora down on her back. Limen herself did not immediately partake in the view, but instead crouched down and again went through her bag.
“Geata, you got any shortness of breath, pain elsewhere besides your recently divided rib, or really deep pain, or are you coughing up blood anime-style?”

Geata sighed at Aurora's exclamation. He was willing to bet that when she was able to move again, she wouldn't be particularly happy with either of the pair of kidnappers. And looking at the ropes Limen tied her up in, he imagined it was likely only a matter of time before she could move again.
The reassuring words felt flat and fake, although he appreciated that Limen was kind enough to say them. There was no promise that things were fine, though, and that was something he was planning on checking when he left to see about getting his ribs fixed. And, contrary to what Limen seemed to think, he wasn't planning on seeing a normal doctor. He was sure there was super with healing capabilities somewhere in the city that would be willing to treat him. Still, the only reasons that he didn't make a joke about what he could tell a doctor about his injury was that breathing was suddenly more painful than it used to be and talking was little better.
He still provided transportation as promised, and once there he started mapping out the quickest way to get to Malachite Isle. Azoth was connected enough that she could probably find him a decent healer. If she couldn't, well, at least Sin Eater would be in the same general area. Definitely not his first choice, but the pain in his side was bad enough that he'd consider it.
Limen's diagnostic questions caught him a little by surprise. "Um, no to all, I guess," he said quietly before looking at Aurora. "Isn't she just going to be able to sparklefy the ropes?"

Aurora did her best to move, or at the very least to thrash about hard enough to avoid being tied up, but in her current state all she could do was twitch a little. Her aurora was much the same, and her attempts to dissolve the rope failed. There was no reason for it to, but whatever was causing her muscles to seize up was causing her power to do the same. Gritting her teeth in frustration, all she could do was watch helplessly while Limen tied her up. It didn't matter though. The effects of a taser didn't last very long. This would not be a permanent solution.
"How the hell is fucking abducting me supposed to help me or make me happy? You cannot possibly be this dense! And yes, yes I will just turn these damn ropes into particles. Did you really think you could hold me for long"
Aurora coughed as she was slung over Limen's shoulder from the impact, but she still wasn't inclined to accept this. She couldn't see the ropes to get rid of them from this angle, but that was only a temporary setback. She found it unlikely that Limen would carry her around the entire time. In the mean time, as she gradually started to regain control over her body, she started kicking as hard as she could anywhere her feet could reach, whether that be Limen's midsection or head if she bent her knees right. On top of that, she tried to find something to bite and bit down as hard as she could. If Limen dropped her carelessly, she would be free again and she would not make the same mistake as last time.

Bringing Geata along was one of the best decisions Limen had made in recent memory. This whole afternoon - or abduction, rather, as Aurora so aptly put it, would not have been possible without his contribution. She could keep ahold of Aurora decently well enough, but it was a little hard to help her gut dodge knees coming from her shoulder, and a little harder to keep someone who vehemently did not want to be there there. Especially when that person was the bundle of fluff that was Aurora. Limen was managing well enough for the short trip to Geata’s portal, but there was no way she could’ve saved herself from an knee to the chin and Aurora the resulting drop.
“It’s probably just a broken rib, then. No bits of sharp rib bone digging into the fragile walls of your lungs, stabbing into your other chest organs like a cannibalistic knife, or other possible side effects like death.” Limen winced at Aurora’s attempt to turn her into a Disicio vampire and resisted the urge to put a bounce in her step. “And guess we’re going to find out.” She hummed happily to both inquiries.
She did not, however, want to test how long it would take for Aurora to live up to her promise, but she also did not want to test how fast one could move through her cloud of mini knives. Limen crouched in the center of the hillside and set Aurora down in the grass slowly, making sure not to drop her by mistake (even if it would be equivalent exchange for what she was sure was going to be bruises in the morning) And then she did the reasonable thing and sat on Aurora’s chest. Cross-legged, and slowly to attempt to give evisceration a miss. How much it would do, she had no idea, but at this point she was throwing all she had at the wall to see if anything stuck and it didn’t hurt to try.
"hey, before you go," she called to Geata, "you want to come see the view?”
Though, she could understand if he wanted to get out of there before her plan inevitably and terribly backfired.

Geata winced slightly at Aurora's words. He didn't remember saying anything about making her happy, but that could've just been him being forgetful. He did know that they had said that it was to help her and, broken rib or not, that was what he was there to do. Letting her storm off wouldn't do that, though. She'd just continue overworking herself, probably even more than before since she was in an exceedingly worse mood than she had been. That left him with the option of letting Limen carry her wherever. There was one other thing he wanted to be sure of, though. "Have you been eating regularly, Aurora?" he asked quietly. Whether or not she would answer, he didn't bother to guess, but he hoped she did. He doubted she was, but he didn't dare say anything outright.
Limen's diagnosis wasn't unexpected, but he still felt relieved to hear that he likely wouldn't be croaking any time soon. "Say, Limen," he said after she took her seat. "You know of any decent healer-types in Pandaland? The only person I know that I could go to is this lovely girl named Sin Eater, but for some strange reason we don't seem to get along. Might be because she's attacked a friend of mine multiple times without real reason." He glanced at Aurora for a split second before continuing. "Might be my disagreeable personality. Who knows? Either way, I'd rather let Aurora take her time and break each individual rib twice than go to Sin if there are better options available."
The offer to see the view made him smile slightly under his mask. He had to wait for an answer, anyway, and stargazing was one of the reasons he had agreed to the plan in the first place. He nodded and started to walk over towards the pair, doing his best not to aggravate his injury.

While the result wasn't quite as dramatic was she was hoping, her tactics were working well enough. It was enough to convince that asshole to finally put her down at least. It took Aurora a moment to crane her neck up so she could get a look at the ropes to dissolve them, but before she could, Limen decided it was a good idea to use her as a seat instead. Aurora let out a small cough as she was suddenly forced back down while she was trying to sit up. She stared up at Limen, her lips pulled tight into a straight line. She felt like she should be less surprised about this than she was.
It didn't matter though. One look at the rope would be enough to free her. Limen blocked her line of sight to the parts around her waist, but her abductor could only do so much to stop her from even getting a glance of it. Her coat blocked her line of sight to the parts around her wrists, but that was much more easily solved. Still unwilling to be a part of any of this, Aurora started to thrash on the ground in an effort to push Limen off of her, or failing that, at least knee her hard in the chest. While she was moving her legs and hips, she craned her neck forward again and latched her teeth onto the sleeve of her coat in an effort to pull it tight so she could see the rope.
"It's hardly surprising that the edge--" she spoke with her mouth half full of coat, but paused when something caught her attention. "Pandaland? Seriously? Where the hell do you idiots even come up with these stupid nicknames?"

When Aurora stared, Limen stared back, arms crossed, brow raised and smile equally (though mimickingly) tight. Her struggling would do little to shake the indomitable force that was a Limen determined to stay where she was, and though she was regretting not having an extra hundred pounds to her name, lessons learned of how not to fall of her motorcycle while jumping off freeway ramps, making tight corners, or finding alternative means of lift and skinning an unlucky half of her body was serving her ballance well.
She snorted at the contents of Geata’s question. “I agree, reasonable cause is necessary before attacking someone.” Limen nodded sternly. “Very important. Pandaland’s got Dullahan, who’s quite good from what I hear. Besides that, ‘tends it be a ‘you break it, you fix it’ sort of policy. I think we’d all be dead if it wasn’t.”
A knee to her chest was mostly blocked with a reactive jar of her elbow. Limen took a moment to fully regain her balance before giving Aurora a cheerful smile. “You know Mom, something tells me if this is going to become a game of endurance, I’m going to win. Might as well settle down and, uh, look up.” She pointed likewise. She ignored Aurora’s questions on the grounds of rhetorical nature and a lack of any kind of answer. Instead, she gave Aurora a tilted look. “What confuses me is why you haven’t sparklified the ropes - or much of anything really - already.” She chuckled. “I honestly didn’t think we’d get this far.”

Aurora's attempts to free herself didn't appear to be going to well for her, so Geata didn't concern himself with worrying about her getting up. The fact that she hadn't already turned the ropes into rainbow dust was interesting, but ultimately he expected that would change before long, even with her lack of headway in moving Limen. Focusing on it would be a waste of energy.
Limen's suggestion, while appreciated, was not one that Geata saw himself following anytime soon. "Yeah, something about the imagery of a death fairy doesn't make me confident in their abilities as doctor. Thanks anyway, though. I'm sure there's probably other options out and about." As far as healer type names went, he'd even trust a Sin Eater before he'd trust a Dullahan, even if that was probably a stupid move on his part. Still, supers chose their names for a reason, and that was not something that he wanted to be wondering about while receiving treatment.
He took a step back when Limen addressed Aurora. Given her current mood, he thought it best if he was well out of kicking range in case she managed to get up. Limen might win a battle of endurance, but he was less than willing to be without a head start if she didn't.

Aurora could have offered further suggestions, but it was hard to talk with a mouth full of thick coat, and she finally caught sight of one the part of the rope around her wrist. The moment she caught sight of it, there was a small crunching sound, not that unlike stepping in a pile of leaves, and suddenly the part of the rope around her wrist was gone. The particles collected in her aurora around her. It was fortunate that her coat was this thick or she might have had some trouble getting it off. She had no interest in their idle chatter at this point. She had more important things to be doing.
Once her arm was free, she sat up as quickly as she could, reaching for Limen's neck with her arm and rolling to the side with the rest of her body. With as fast as she was moving, she'd likely cut Limen's neck a little, but the cut probably wouldn't be deep enough to cause too much damage, just enough to leave a mark and be really uncomfortable for the next week. Her ultimate goal was to pin Limen to the ground while wiggling out of the ropes, remind the two of them why pulling shit like this was a bad idea, and then get back to the docks as quickly as possible. She'd wasted enough time already.

The amount of times Limen had shocked herself by accident (or on pseudo-purpose, like now) was a little hard to place. Misplacing a wire or falling in water unexpectedly weren’t a weekly occurrence, but they were far from rare. She’d bumped the wrong thing by mistake (especially when she was first starting out) enough that her thumb was a slightly darker shade than the rest of her hand. But even in experiencing the sensation of electricity banking its timeshare on her body about as often as the average person flossed, it was something she had yet to become sensitized to. Stabbings were a bandage and a pain killer away from better. Ramming her leg into the sides of structures or the sides of supers that could one up any concrete could be walked off. But being shocked? It still hurt like hell, every single time.
But, between facing the wrath while being caught in the grasp of a super in melee and both of them ending up tasered on the ground, Limen had grown to very much favor the later. She was not expecting Aurora to sit up so suddenly; that took her by surprise, but if she’d put her mind to it she probably could’ve rolled away before she was grabbed (into Aurora’s aurora of course, which was its own slew of problems, plus then Aurora would be free to go off and about her business, mooting the entire point of all this effort). Instead, she waited until she felt a good amount of Aurora’s hand on her neck (which was a little hard to miss with the added presence of her aurora, probably going to leave a mark of its own), and then pressed her thumb again to her brass knuckle.
The lineup was less than optimal. She knew this, and was expecting what came next, but that didn’t do much to lessen the blow. Limen felt electricity shoot through her body. She would have yelled out in pain had her muscles not already decided to all go on coffee break at the exact same time, leaving the whole of herself unresponsive and at the whims of gravity. Her body went limp, and she slumped to the side Aurora had begun to push her. Aurora herself would be shocked for as long as her skin was in contact with Limen’s; clothing from about medium to thin thickness wouldn’t do much to stop it either. The voltage was still just as high as last time Limen had zapped Aurora, but this time was likely to be more than a nice little tap.
And so arose yet another reason Limen was glad she’d brought along backup. She was pretty resilient to being shocked; she shook off the effects faster than most mostly due to its commonality, but having someone who wasn’t trying to wake up their limbs around was always a nice thing. Even if he looked keen on ditching.

Geata didn't have time to react to the sudden events occurring before they ended, both girls incapacitated. He can't really say that it was terribly unexpected, although he was surprised Limen was down for the count, so to speak. It was something to focus on later, though. For now, he was stuck on babysitting duty until one of them got up.
He took a seat on the ground, slowly, as he considered his next move. The smart - and probably best - thing to do would be to offer Aurora a shorter trip home. If he did that, though, everything that had happened would be for moot. It was a hard decision, but considering how likely it was that Aurora intended on sticking around, he thought it wise not be a selfish asshole who refuses to do the right thing because his plans went awry.
"Aurora," he said quietly, "when you get up, if you'd like, I'd be willing to make the return trip to the docks a little quicker. Not like the trip here; there'll be time to make sure your sparkles make it through the portals."

By the time Aurora realized what was going on, it was too late. She tried to release Limen's neck, but her entire hand was convulsing and her fingers were stuck in their current position in full contact with Limen's neck. Electricity surged through the rest of her body, causing her to lose control of her power with odd effects. It started with the smaller things, bandages, wires, some small river rocks she intended to use to decorate the housing areas, they started to reform around her ankles. Some of them stayed that way, while others were converted back into particles after a few moments, only to reform again.
By the time Geata had the sense to respect her wishes and take her home, Aurora's eyes were already rolling back into her head. She could barely even make out that he was talking, nevermind what he was actually saying. His words sounded more like a distant hum than language as the world went black around her. Her muscles still stiff, and still in contact with Limen, she flopped over onto her side with an almost peaceful expression on her face despite how she got there. Her eyes closed and she showed no signs of getting back up any time soon.
Her aurora followed her motions, but before she could hit the ground it suddenly started to disappear. The colors faded as the particles that made up the aurora started turning back into what they were before. Hundreds of rocks poured from the area around her ankles, large planks of wood, steel, bricks, and other building materials came out of the areas around her shoulders and head. About half would land behind Aurora, some of them threatening to crush her feet in the awkwardly turned angle they were in, and half of them threatening to fall on top of Limen. Her overstocked first aid kit formed near her nose and fell, threatening to fall right on Limen's teeth. Several smaller, softer things fell too. Several blankets, a few dozen snacks, bandages, sun screen, and several utility items. Once it was all said and done, the pile of stuff that fell out of her aurora would be half the size of a house despite how small her aurora made it look. And Aurora wouldn't notice a thing, continuing to sleep peacefully through the chaos.

At first, Geata didn't quite understand why there were suddenly rocks. Luckily for the two girls, he managed to catch on fast and various portals of different sizes were opened to catch everything before it landed on everyone. Anything that would've fallen on the two landed somewhere in a large circle around them. Geata didn't have time to recognize what would be breakable and what wouldn't, so he simply made sure nothing would be at risk of having anything else fall on it either.
Once things stopped appearing from the no-longer-sparkly sparkles, Geata took a moment to catch his breath best he could with his rib still screaming at him. In that moment of relative peace, he noticed: They had succeeded and Aurora was now sleeping, which was likely the cause of the materialized materials; Limen seemed to be asleep as well; there were scattered unknown medical supplies, including medication that Geata thought probably wasn't worth the risk of trying; and a few notebooks landed near Aurora that hadn't been in the danger zone so he hadn't bothered to catch. He made his way over to the nearest one and opened it up to be greeted by some really bad drawings of what appeared to be buildings. Nodding to himself and setting it down, he looked over the two sleeping girls and wondered what he ought to do.
The first thing that came to mind was to stay and keep an eye on them until they woke up. He was responsible for the current mess, and he probably shouldn't leave them alone in the middle of the woods, asleep and defenseless. On the other hand, his abdomen despised that plan and was protesting vehemently; plus he could imagine the scene should somebody have discovered the destruction of the aurora and decided to track them to the spot, or if one of the girls woke up in a particularly bad mood Aurora. Random super guy just looming over - or even nearby probably wouldn't look too good - two unconscious girls? He wasn't particularly inclined to have to deal with being called a pervert, and there would be no amount of explaining that could save him from that shame. He couldn't exactly leave them there in the middle of the woods either, though. There were bears. And random people investigating random destruction. And perverts (probably not).
He sighed quietly as he grabbed the various notebooks. He was staying (but at a reasonable distance of on the other side of the random stuff), but he wasn't going to sit there without something to read at the very least.

Thankfully, Geata would not have to wait long. Strange string of events aside (first sparkles turning into stuff, then stuff remembering gravity, and then gravity’s wrestling match with Geata, won about 0 to 200 in Geata’s favor), taking back her muscles was a fairly short waiting game consisting of sending out commands for her extremities to follow and consulting her eyes for the results. A small handful of minutes after the large pile of evidence towards Aurora’s packraterhood had settled, Limen sluggishly and stiffly pulled herself up to a sit.
She stretched her arms over her head (taking extra care not to shock herself again) to shake out the remaining rigidness. Absently surveying the area, she located first Geata, and then a snack bag of moderate interest. She poked at the bag for no reason other than to note Aurora’s preference of mobile food and to buy her body a few more moments before she was mentally obligated to get back into life.
But, time sitting around reading serving sizes was time wasted, and she had a fairly clear and immediate need for her time. Namely, sleep. Getting dropped on and dropped off and shocked had been very exciting and very worth it, but now it was about time she did something nice for her body.
She got up to a crouch and glanced down at Aurora, who had beaten her to the punch. Her smile was gentle. “Aw, she almost looks like she’s not going to rip our faces off when she wakes up.” Totally worth it.
She pulled her backpack over her shoulder and retrieved a small white bottle. Limen popped up to her feet and trotted, albeit with a newly gained fatigue, over to Geata. Flicking open the top of the bottle, she dropped two of the small red pills into her palm and tossed them into her mouth. With her other hand she gestured over her shoulder to Aurora. “So what’re we going to do with her? Also here, painkillers.” She gave the bottle an underhand toss, figuring he’d need them at least as much - if not more - than her. Limen yawned. “Not sure I want to be visibly present when she comes to because I like all my teeth, but I don’t mind keeping an eye on her from some tree or bush a little ways off until she’s able to fend off bears by herself. I’ll just leave quiet-like when she does.” She paused to look around the fairly conspicuous area. Wonder what hikers were going to think of this. “It’s not a great idea, but it’s an idea where no one gets eaten.” She shrugged. “Probably.”
