For once, Tristan was actually already doing something productive with his time while he wasn't stuck in the docks helping with the rebuilding or doing various tasks for the other assorted supers who had all come to benefit from his helpful nature and recently-developed pleasant disposition. Instead, he was doing something to improve himself. He was out, having already walked a good two miles and was planning on walking another, because walking is good and healthy and exercise. Even though he wasn't working, he was in the docks. He enjoyed seeing how far it had come and knowing that he had played a part in that.
He wasn't currently wearing his mask, but he was wearing a solid black backpack with his mask and a few other lightweight items inside. He decided to keep his mask with him because it seemed like every time he stepped outside his room during the night, some other super was out doing who knows what to cause trouble. For once, though, he was surprised to find that the night was actually quiet and that it was actually a good thing. Dealing with various superpowered assholes, while entertaining, generally ended up being more of a hassle than it was worth.
He was leaning up against a building, eating one of the various granola bars from the depths of his pack, when he heard the footfalls of a few individuals approaching him. He raised his eyes to see three men, all easily a foot taller than he was, armed with knives and clearly thinking themselves intimidating. It was almost like they were stupid enough to think that somebody of his physique would go anywhere near the docks without a few tricks up their sleeves. Tristan raised a brow as one of them started to laugh, possibly to try and get his attention. Fair was fair, he supposed, so he decided to give them a warning of his own. "You don't want any trouble, guys," he said with a bored tone of voice.
"That's what we're supposed to say to you, small fry. Hand over the bag and your money and you won't get hurt," the middle guy, apparently the leader of the trio, said confidently. Tristan finally raised his whole face to look at the men, his boredom and irritation evident.
All he could think about was how the men were complete and total morons.

The day was barely getting older and Alquez was dreading every remaining hour that was left. He didn't like going out, but he spent most of his time inside the apartment so it was good to stretch his legs. He was going to head to the docks but decided to do some "work" before he got there. Throwing on a fake smile and shaking off any jitters he would have he bumped into the occasional person purposely followed with a fake apology, secretly nabbing any money he can remove from them in a short amount of time. Again he doesn't like pick pocketing but he has to get by somehow.
Once he was done from his stealing frenzy accumulating the money he gather, was a totally of $23.76. Counting the bills he folded them up and placed them in his pocket headed onward to the docks. The docks were the first thing Alquez saw when he had arrived to Emerald city and he has quite visited since his arrival. But what better time than now? right? Placing his hand on his head, Alquez clenched his teeth from the pain as he staggered around the corner finally making it to the docks.
Looking up, trying to clear his vision, He could see a boy and three men surrounding him. It didn't look like a friendly get together but this was Alquez's destination. He didn't want to help but felt it necessary because it reminds him of a similar incident he had face in Israel. Walking up behind the group Alquez took a deep breath regretting ever getting involved.
"Is there a problem?" he state, visibly stressed.

A few months ago, Tristan wouldn't have dared to even be at the docks. Sadly, it was no longer a few months ago, and he no longer had any worries about the place or the people in it, including the three idiots before him that thought themselves strong because they were armed and had the advantages of size and numbers. It was going to end very poorly for them, he could already tell. His face showcased every bit of the concern he wasn't feeling, before it turned to mild surprise at another man's stepping in. It seemed like he wasn't the only one who wasn't expecting it, either.
"What do you want?" The middle guy asked as he turned to face the newcomer. It was at that moment that Tristan took note of the knives the men were armed with. The one on his left had a survival knife, while the other two were armed with kitchen knives. He shifted slightly as he thought up a plan and prepared for it.
"Yeah, we've got a problem," he said with a bored sigh, drawing the attention and anger of the trio. "These guys have one last chance to go find another mark before they get hurt." Tristan had no intention of letting the men try to hurt anyone else, but he knew that they wouldn't listen to his warning. He looked down at his granola bar as the man on his right exploded, demanding money right that second or else the police wouldn't be able to find all the pieces. Tristan didn't care about that, but he was clearly interested in his half eaten snack. Slowly, he started to look up at the newcomer with a small smile before addressing him cheerily.
"Listen, guy, if you don't want to get hurt, I suggest you take a few steps back. I can't exactly promise this will go as planned."

As Alquez awaited a response, he examined the men briefly, they didn't seem to be too dangerous but in a world like this one always has to expect the unexpected. When one of the men responded to the question, Alquez got his first impression of how the situation might turn out. Soon the boy named as Tristan responded as well, nonchalance in his voice it was hard to tell if he was instigating or just plan uninterested with the situation. Nonetheless it was clear that he was not the suspect in this case. A fight was sure to break out and Alquez didn't know if he should stay or go. He didn't like someone being outnumbered but at the same time he wasn't one to underestimate people.
"I can assure you, I can hold my own. It's you that should take a step back my friend," Alquez said looking through the three men straight at Tristan. He didn't know who he was or what he was about, but he had a feeling things were about to get interesting. I sharp pain in Alquez's head caused him to stagger while standing. Holding his head in one hand he pulled out a tic tac dispenser and popped two in his mouth. He then pulled a water bottle from his belt pack and drank it to swallow the pills. Taking a deep breath breath and opening his eyes a purple glow coated them for a brief moment as they readjusted to the light.
"Agh...trust me you don't want to underestimate me," Although it sounded like a treat it wasn't Alquez's intentions he just was under a lot of pain and stress.

Tristan tilted his head at the man's response, and it didn't seem he was the only one with newfound interest in him. The kitchen knife men turned to face him, blades held in a menacing manner, while survival knife decided that keeping an eye on the kid was a good idea. The leader took a step towards the newcomer before Tristan finally moved away from the building he was leaning against and flashed a smile at survival knife. SK. seemed to be the one becoming more aware of how the situation was really going to play out, which probably made him the easiest target.
His words notwithstanding, newcomer's use of what were possibly painkillers made Tristan decide that he likely wasn't going to be much use. That was fine by the boy, though, who suddenly launched the remaining half of his snack at SK. before dashing towards him. The man froze as the granola flew at his face, clearly starting to believe that Tristan could easily hurt him, even though he wasn't visibly armed. The boy smirked as he took advantage of that, grabbing the man by the wrist that held the knife and pulling it down as he drove his other hand up into the man's elbow. He wasn't strong enough to break the man's arm, but it was enough to get him to release the knife. Tristan spun, grabbing it midair, and slashed at the man who was furthest to his right's fingers as he turned to see what was going on. He also let go of his blade, but Tristan didn't try to grab for it. Instead, when it landed, he kicked it away, effectively removing the weapon from play.
The one man was quickly recovering from his shock, while the other started grabbing for his now-injured fingers. Tristan paid no mind to either of them, instead pointing the blade at the group leader, who was now directly between Tristan and the newcomer. The man stared, dumbstruck, clearly surprised that the meek mark in front of him knew how to handle himself in a fight. The boy smiled, but it didn't quite reach his eyes.
"I'm a reasonable guy, so I'll consider this your final warning. Leave now, or risk serious injury." It was a bluff, completely and totally, but the armed man before him didn't know that. He didn't need to, either.

It has been along time since Alquez has been in combat. So with him being handed a fresh situation while he himself is a tad rusty would make the fight a bit of a challenge for him, but nothing he can't win. He was amazed with how swift the boys movements were. He did not miss a beat at all, and disarming someone so effortlessly; amazing. Before doing anything he took note of the situation's status. One man is dazed, one man is injured, one man unharmed. Alquez knew who he was going to go after. As he began positioning himself to where he was facing the group leader he extended his hand out prepared to use his ability.
"You brought this on yourself," Alquez said to the group leader as a telepathic howl could be heard. Alquez was soon about to use his ability until he was blind sided by the man who was in shock. Lunging at Alquez a harsh gust of wind blew past the both of them, follow by the man dangling in midair holding his throat as if he were being choked. Seconds after he was slammed hard into the ground; knocked cold.
"AH! What the hell is your problem! We do not kill! Under no circumstances!" anyone looking at Alquez right now would think he was a mad man talking to the wind, but it was clear he was angry. That same gust of wind blew past Alquez heading straight for the injured man, but with a precise sharp turn, the gust of air launched into the Leaders gut causing him to slide back but not fall.
"Enough!" Alquez said as the wind so dispersed and a sadistic, beastly cackle could be heard fading away. Holding his head in his hands it was clear whatever had happened it did a Number on Alquez.

Tristan lowered his arm and his jaw as he watched the scene before him. It was pretty clear he was dealing with a super, but it was the first time he had seen a power even remotely like that. He blinked, his grip on the knife tightening as he prepared himself for an attack. It would be a pain to fight against something he couldn't see, but he would figure it out if he had to, even if a certain stinging in his fingers was demanding his attention. It would be something he could focus on later.
"Thanks for the help," he said warily, watching as the men scrambled away as fast as their feet could carry them. "You might want to get out of here soon, though. It won't take long for the police to come investigate a super attack, and since you don't seem to be a Panda, I'd say odds are that you're definitely going to have them called on you." He shifted the bag on his back as he turned to face the super. "So, just to ask, was that an attempt to clear out the competition for my wallet, or am I actually lucky enough to caught the attention of a good Samaritan?"

Alquez couldn't entirely process the situation. In his head he was going to just screw with their belt buckles, maybe make their pants fall off...or make the belts a little too tight. But he can never predict the ...urges his psychokinetic beast has. He watched as the men scurried away and then directed all of his attention to the boy making sure that he was alright. Alquez could have harm on his conscious.
"Its no problem. I hope you are alright though. Sorry about that. I can't control him sometimes," Alquez looked at human apologetically as he notified him about exposing his powers, "Damn your right...well that'll make my day interesting; and here I thought I'd just come to reminisce," Rubbing away the headache he felt coming on. When the human had asked if he were helping him or stealing from him a small smile grew on Alquez's face. Holding out the humans wallet he held it out in an attempt to give it back.
"Gotta make a livin' somehow. Sorry," He said with a weak laugh.

Tristan blinked when he saw his wallet. Slowly, he reached down and patted his pocket where it should've been. He had various questions, but he doubted they'd be worth asking. Instead, he just grabbed it and put it back where it belonged, watching the super warily. He was tempted to ask for a name, but something told him that doing so would only invite future trouble. It would be best to simply encourage the man to make his exit as soon as possible.
"You would've been disappointed if you looked in it," Tristan said about his wallet. "I'm flat broke as is, and payday is a few days away." He turned towards the direction the men went, but he still kept an eye on the man. "I'd say you could probably get a twenty minute headstart if you get going now. I could even stick around here and point them in the wrong direction, as repayment for helping me out, if you'd like." He shrugged slightly as he waited for an answer, or for the guy to simply walk off. Either way, he'd be fine.

Alquez was actually kind of relieved that the human didn't get upset when he stole his wallet. After handing it back he started to think about what he would do next, or what would need to happen next for that matter. He couldn't go back home, well not yet anyways. Just in case something goes down. I mean he doesn't necessarily live too far away from the docks. Soon the man had brought it to Alquez's attention it be best if he'd go now to make use of his time.
"Well..uh this is weird or me to ask, but where are you headed? They saw both of our faces...admittedly I am the one that with the powers here. I want you to know though...I didn't want to use my ability on them...There's just something else that has different intentions," Leaving it at that he first wanted to know if the human would let him tag along just for a little while, and then second his response to his comment.
"Also, by the way, my name is Alquez."

Tristan looked at the man curiously. Not only did he use his powers out of costume, which he claimed to have no control of, but he even gave his name to a random kid. Either Alquez was extremely out of it from the pain, or he had not had his powers for long. Even random civilians knew better than to do that stuff, but Tristan wasn't about to comment on it all yet.
"Actually, I'm heading further in," Tristan said calmly. "I've got a friend I was planning on checking in on, while I was out for a walk." He may not have been telling the exact truth, but while he was there he could make a stop. No, it was an excuse, pure and simple. He didn't want to deal with a super that could lose control of their powers at any moment. It was too just too stressful. He did owe Al, though, so he was willing to help him out.
"I know the area pretty well, though," he said as he mentally mapped his location out and pointed down a specific alleyway. "Go down there, take the third left, fifth right, and turn immediately to your left, there should be an old abandoned building. People stay away because it looks like it could collapse at any moment, but it's sturdy enough to hide out in until morning if you don't wreck the place. I'll point police in a different direction, and you ought to be fine."
"Don't worry about me," he added with a smirk. "You're the one in the compromising situation. I'm just a poor, innocent victim who got away and managed to catch a glimpse of the scary super as he went to go look for more people to terrorize."
