The past several weeks had been a nightmare for Aurora. She was in a situation she never thought would happen, and still wasn't sure she wanted to have happened. For one of the first times in her life, people decided they actually liked her. More than that, they wanted to follow her at least to a degree. She never wanted to be a leader because of how inconvenient dealing with people was, but there was no denying how useful it could be. The entire situation left her with an existential crisis for a few weeks, but she was eventually able to come to a conclusion. She spent a great deal of time in the docks lately, more than she ever did before the dragon attacked because of all the reconstruction work that needed to be done. That, along with the people in Pandaemonium that bothered her for the most inane reasons, gave her a new perspective, even if the conclusion was something she always knew. The people here needed her, more than that, they probably needed her more than anyone else in the city. These people were lost, directionless, most of them had no idea what they wanted to do and were just acting out because they could. She had given them a sense of purpose, and she was certain she could do better than what she was already doing.
Aurora had no illusions that most of the people that seemed awe-struck by her now would likely dislike her if they met her in person. They were interested in Aurora Disicio, the legend they heard about, not the person behind the mask. She could be that for them. She would never betray her own principles, she would never lie about what she was, but she was more than happy to play up more grandiose traits to be something more than what she could be as an individual; she was fine with being a symbol for supers, even if it meant the vast majority of the people that she was supposed to be leading could never meet her personally. Taking this position, making herself the official leader of Pandaemonium instead of just an influential member, was a step towards that. The two of those things combined were enough to make her consider it worthwhile to go after the current leader, and that was ignoring what Mosh Man might do to her and the people around her if she didn't. She didn't want to have the only reason to fight him be for such a negative reason. She didn't want to kill someone because she was afraid of what they might do. That would only lead to problems later.
She made no grand ceremony of any of this, and barely mentioned it to anyone at all. It wasn't until she made her final decision that she even started spreading that she intended to take out Mosh Man soon. Exactly when she didn't say, but given the nature of her power, she figured that when the time came it would be obvious. She didn't make a show of moving through the docks like she did other parts of town. That would be different today because of what she intended to do. People needed to leave the area if they wanted to be safe from both Mosh Man's, and her own, power. They needed to get away if they didn't want to get caught up in the inevitable collateral damage. Of course, they needed to rush in if they wanted to be involved and try to help her, but she didn't expect any help or understand why anyone would. Wasn't part of the tradition for the challenger to work alone? Would her victory even be legitimate if there were other people helping? Aurora wondered if anyone would try to stop her. She had enemies, there were probably others that didn't like the idea of what she wanted to do with Pandaemonium as well. Once she ran it, it would become a less individualistic cluster of people and would become an actual organization. Pandaemonium would have a goal and there would be expectations for the members. It would no longer be a useless badge that people wore to make themselves sound tough, and transgressions against it and its members would have actual consequences. She suspected there would be people that didn't like that. She also suspected there would be others that wouldn't like her own views of the world, and how that would affect Pandaemonium. To a degree, she fully intended to impose her own morals and her own goal on the group. They'd become less a group of thugs that did whatever they wanted, and a more organized force that fought for the good of the city and for the good of supers. She suspected a lot of people would like this even less. She still intended to allow unpowered people into Pandaemonium, as long as they understood that their purpose revolved around supers. She suspected a lot of people wouldn't like that either. She wasn't sure how much opposition to expect, or how many of them would even care.
Her aurora streaked across the sky like a bright, rainbow comet. The sun was high in the sky, making them even brighter than they would otherwise be. Aurora herself appeared to glow in midst of all her particles as she made her way where Mosh Man supposedly was. Her aurora was spread out more than it usually was when she traveled, and it moved leaving interesting wave patterns in the 'tail' of the comet-like shape it took. When she turned, it gracefully turned with her, expanding like large wings before returning to its original shape. Once she reached the location she tracked Mosh Man to, it took a sharp nose dive to the ground, where she eventually jumped off. Her aurora returned to the sky, swirling around in simple patterns and looking like a cluster of fluffy rainbow clouds, while she took a few steps forward and started yelling loudly towards a run down building on the edge of the docks. It was one of the places she hadn't gotten around to rebuilding yet, and one of the places that some of the more unsavory parts of Pandaemonium that she had been trying to root out did business.
"Mosh Man! Show yourself!"
Aurora didn't intend to simply drop the building on him before he knew she was there. She found it likely that he already knew she was coming thanks to her light show, but just in case she insisted on getting his attention first. If she was going to kill someone, she at least didn't want people to think they had to worry about her killing them in their sleep.

((This is just a request and can be ignored if you think you have something more interesting. I am interested in where everyone in Pandaemonium will fall on this issue, so it would be much appreciated if you could either support or oppose with your Pandaemonium character instead of a different if you have one! Again, if another character has greater stakes in this than your Pandaemonium one that's fine, I'm just very interested on how all the Pandaemonium PCs feel about all this.))

Aurora's challenge still hung in the air when the wall of a nearby factory began to collapse. An enormous truck rumbled through, emerging from the hiding spot in which Dullahan had parked it. It was especially long, like a missile carrier one might see in a military convoy, but a tarp thrown over the back concealed its cargo. He had known that Aurora would try something like this soon, of course, and he had prepared accordingly. "This is foolish, even for you," Dullahan's voice came loudly from the truck's speakers. It was emotionless as always, but his word choice hinted that he did have feelings about the matter. "Is Pandaemonium's existence itself offensive to you? It is an organization founded on the principle of its members being allowed to do what they will. If you and your allies want so badly to make the world a better place, then you can just go join the Bulwark." Dullahan's engine revved. He had no illusions about solving this dispute peacefully. His words were just the opening shot of the inevitable battle. "Incidentally, you just missed Mosh Man. He's presently raiding some businesses a few blocks away. By the time he gets back..." A gust of wind blew the tarp off Dullahan's truck, revealing some sort of long cannon covered in blinking lights and pumping tubes. "You will be gone!" --- OPPOSING: For the right to be an asshole! The day had finally come. Big Martin had been anticipating it for quite some time now, had even made efforts to hasten its arrival. Knowing that tensions were gradually building, he had stationed hidden forces around the Docks, so that he was ready to spring into action the moment someone made a move. This was important to him. The only thing that had been keeping him from joining Pandaemonium and his fellow supervillains was that odious leadership of theirs, and although Aurora wasn't exactly an ideal replacement, at least she had some semblance of humanity. All he needed to do was make sure she won- and Big Martin had become very, very good at winning of late.
Cats streamed out of their hiding places, converging on the bright aurora that fluttered like a flag of liberation up above. Some distance away in the suburbs, a warehouse burst open and furry armies poured out, led by a vanguard of massive jungle cats gone missing from the zoo some time ago. The number of felines seemed to grow as they traveled, becoming a tsunami that swept into the docks, spreading out to surround the entire battlefield with their tiny ranks. They kept an eye out as they moved into their positions, watching for any members of Pandaemonium their leader was hoping to see. Gilgamesh had vanished recently, so they probably couldn't count on his help, but it was possible that Bloodbath and Limen might show up to offer aid. Hopefully it would be enough.
Everyone ready? In formation, now! Pounce on any I deem a threat, and do not let the enemy pass though! We shall cage them with our numbers, imprison them within a circle of tooth and claw, so that our allies may hunt them like the rats they are!
Yowling filled the air, and thousands of tiny paws bounded across the ground. At last, Big Martin and his legions would earn their place among the demons of Emerald City!

Limen was actually some distance from Aurora’s final landing spot and what would be the scene of the battle. Anyone with any sense of dramatic tension would know this was going to be one hell of a mess, and as much as she loved a good fight, getting caught in the crossfire of half a dozen supers - at the small end of her estimate - was a great way to end her afternoon in a very, very bad way. But, she’d promised her presence to Big Martin, Aurora (sort of), and herself, and so better judgement was beaten out and here she was.
Just, a block away. On the fourth floor of a building with a good view and lots of hand holds on the outside, looking down the scope of her paintball sniper rifle out of the window with the best view (and a recently broken pane) in place of gazing over the field with her own bio eyes. She had a recently acquired sniper rifle that shot rubber bullets propped up against the wall beside her, along with a small assortment of other weapons and gear for just in case. She wanted to use her paintball gun because it matched Aurora’s aurora. If you’re going to stage a king’s overthrow, might as well do it with matching color schemes, right? It was also the next best way besides writing ‘Limen is here’ in big text somewhere noticeable to let her teammates and not so teammates know she was, indeed, here.
Limen double checked to make sure her gun was loaded, new clips were nearby, and nothing was jammed. All she needed now was a target.

Wrath followed the blinding colors that filled the sky. She had been hearing rumors that Ms. Butterfly had been planning on overthrowing Mosh Man. Now normally she kept away from Pandaemonium politics. Murder was fun but the responsibility that came after... The red head shuttered, no thank you. This time however, the colorful little upstart planned to make some changes if she succeeded. Changes that would take all of the chaos out of Pandaemonium. And chaos was the little Sin's bread and butter. Flames rippled over her skin as she neared the pooled lights.
In the clearing she saw two figures opposing each other. It was Ms. Butterfly and some giant ass truck. Dullahan if the rumors tossed around were true. Excitement filled her veins. Her eyes scanned the area. Others would be popping out of the woodwork soon. A fight was on their hands and the entire whole of Pandaemonium was at stake. A wide, sadistic smile lit up her face. Aurora was going down.

Bloodbath had currently floated in an ocean of rumors, so much he nearly didn't believe that Aurora would genuinely try to fight Mosh Man. It just wasn't done! The guy looked like a monster and frankly...was rather terrifying.
He was watching from a safe distance as Aurora arrived in all her glory looking majestic enough to order anyone around. She did look like someone who could beat him. Then more and more people poured in, likely to turn this battle to their favor....even Big Martin had choosen a side!
After a horrific moment of deliberation, Bloodbath moved to stand next to Aurora, "I-I'll get you to Mosh Man...I p-promise." He growled, grimacing as he pushed his nails into his palms and drew a bloodstream comparable to Aurora's aurora.

This year, dear god this year. It was easily and obviously the roughest year Sanduleak ever had to live through. But now this was going to be a turning point, there was no soreness or hesitation in his movements as he quickly made his way through the docks. He had mostly flown through it on a disc of light before arriving at the point where the only light show which could rival his own originated from...Aurora had the intent of taking out Moshman, and after hearing about and meeting her he figured she'd want it to be one on one which he was close to respecting until a few things came to mind. One, he didn't want to deal with a Pandaemonium that didn't have Aurora to keep some semblance of order in it. Two, this was Pandaemonium and Moshman represented it's worst qualities including never having a fair fight so it was likely the guy wasn't gonna go in alone either. Three, he already knew a lot of people were going to enter this fight on her side hell Big Martin was gonna be in it. Four, SANDULEAK WANTED TO KILL THE FUCKER FOR DOING SOME MINOR LOOTING INSTEAD HELPING KILL THE GOD DAMN DRAGON THAT MADE HIS INSIDES MUSH AND HURT ALL OF HIS FUCKING FRIENDS AND IT WAS PEOPLE LIKE HIM WHO DIDN'T HELP WITH DRAGONS THAT CAUSED 'HER' DEATH IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!
"God damn idiot fucking hate people like him"
He grumbled under his breath before landing near the ever growing army and taking a look around. He had to give a small nod to Limen, not wanting to wave in case of giving away her position, and walked ahead to stand beside the rest. It appeared that Dullahan wasn't gonna let them do this easy, man that sucked...he actually kinda liked the guy's skills and not so annoying personality. Oh well if this was how he's gonna be, Sanduleak would have to oblige with attempted murder.
"Stop the big mother trucker, throw the mosh man into a mosh pit of cats, get Aurora to be leader, and celebrate...what could possibly go wrong."
He mumbled this sarcastic bit under his breath before letting out a sigh and allowing his eyes to glint through his mask, oh well this was never gonna be easy but like hell he wasn't gonna help them win.

Giza has never been much a man who cared about politics or pecking-order; he didn’t join the Pandaemonium just so he would get himself involve in some petty fight for domination within the faction. Personally, whatever Mosh Man was doing was none of his business; if the guy wanted to loot people’s home during the dragon fight, that’s his problem. If someone decided to see if they have a chance to kick his butt only to get beaten by the guy, that’s his problem. If the guy didn’t really cared about his subordinate and just let all of them fighting each other for petty reason, that’s his problem.
However, when Aurora decided that she should be the one to take charge of the Padnaemonium, this was something Giza won’t ignore. For awhile now, she has been the one who had work the hardest in order to help the Horde rebuild after the dragon attack. She cleared away the rubble despite the Keeper’s interference, she “obtains” food to feed them, and she brought back some nice materials that help in the rebuilding of the Horde much quicker. Yes she can sound like a jerk a lot of time, and she would be quite demanding with her order; however it was all done for the sake of all of the supers, not just the one in the Horde.
In a way, Giza can feel that he slightly understand of her goal, even if it was just a tiny glimpse. He had never like the idea that Aurora would cared for other supers more than him, but by now he should be able to move pass that slightly. It still pissed him off to no end that the other guys, Blue Jay or Geata, would get their dirty hand on her, and he wanted to kill them for that, but at least he take the first baby-step to move pass that.
He has promised to be by her side no matter what happen, and Giza is here to make sure he won’t let her fight alone again. He won’t make that same mistake of leaving her to fight by herself again. Too many times he could’ve helped her, and too many times she got hurt because he wasn’t there for her. This time, he will fight along-side with her, even if it mean he have to defeat his very own allies of the faction to do so.
Support: I have a promise to keep that has been put-off for far too long.
Preference to be on Aurora’s front to fight with his Senpai.

Gluttony was watching the emergence of supers with great interest from the upstairs window of a building just across the street. He had been watching the building where Mosh Man was known to spend the majority of his time, partly because he hoped to learn what he could of the powerful super, but also because he had heard Wrath complaining about a certain super's plans to take over the chaotic faction. That simply couldn't be allowed to happen.
He made his way to the roof of the building as quickly as he could, eating as much as he could on his way up. If Aurora Disicio were to take control of Pandaemonium, they would become an organized force, truly capable of dealing with outside threats. Considering the rumors that the leader of the Keepers in Emerald City was devising a plan on how to destroy the street gang, Gluttony decided that it was in the best interests of his faction to keep the group as chaotic as possible, and that meant stopping Aurora from becoming leader.
When he reached the roof, Gluttony activated his powers. He was frowning as he grew, stopping at nine feet tall, before he jumped into the scene below. He gave no explanation on landing. He simply stood, nodded to Wrath, and turned to face his enemies.

So today was the day.
Arcanum heard rumors about this recent takeover being a thing, so when the time came she was ready to stand against it. To be honest, she didn't like Mosh Man even before he took over, and would shed no tears if he did end up dying from all this. She wasn't here for that.
By now, her interference with the various actions of Pandaemonium members was a regular occurrence. but that was different. Before, she had little personal interest in what they were doing and only involved herself as part of official business as a Keeper. For whatever reason, Athanasia hated their faction, so Arcanum made sure to stand in their way like a good little minion. If someone as low down as herself knew about this uprising then boss lady did too, and probably had a contingency in place to ensure her victory no matter who ended up leading the horde.
This time, Arcanum was here for herself, and to correct the ideology of those who followed their false prophet. If this toddler thought all her yelling and crying would amount to anything, then she was a bigger idiot that Arcanum anticipated. Mosh Man had sort of managed to rule for a couple months now. She expected Glitter Force over there to last half that time, at best. Despite how enjoyable it would be to sit back and watch the train wreck unfold, the continued chaos brought a lot of unwanted attention to supers as a whole.
Princess Dazzler was going to lose eventually, and it'd be better to not get anyone's hopes up about a better future for those present. Arcanum slid into the battlefield, emerging somewhat near Gluttony. She pantomimed cracking her nonexistent knuckles and entered a more combative stance. If these assholes couldn't even beat a mass of slime, they would not stand a chance against the actual murderers and extortionists in their little faction.

Aurora listened carefully for any signs of any more vehicles Dullahan brought to this fight. The sound she ended up hearing was a soft hiss coming from the ones she disabled. Given his arsenal, she had a hunch about what it was, but didn't want to stick around to confirm it. Giza and Bloodbath could likely handle Wrath, and it looked like the other three had the Keepers well in check. With no one left to stop her from getting to her target, she bolted. She wasn't the fastest super out there by a longshot, but she was far from slow. The sound of metal hitting the pavement repeatedly echoed throughout the area as she made her move.
"Giza, Bloodbath, keep everyone off my back. Everyone! Get out of the area! Dullahan is fucking insane and is fucking insane and is flooding the area with gas. That means you too Wrath!" she pointed towards the roof. "And whoever the fuck the two of you are supposed to be!"
With that, she brought her aurora to her feet again and darted back into the sky. With no one hindering her, it didn't take long for her to locate Mosh Man. Aurora never met him personally, or had ever seen him, because she wasn't completely insane and preferred to stay away from the person that turned everyone around him into projectiles regardless of whether they were friend or foe. He wasn't a particularly tall man, nor was he particularly short, but his appearance was distinct and easily recognizable. His head was shaved, he wore no clothing from the waist up, and most of his exposed skin was covered with tattoos. The most notable thing about him was that he was using his power to fly through the air, and had six people orbiting around him while he flew. About half the victims looked like they were likely in Pandaemonium, half probably weren't. One of them didn't look that much older than ten. This complicated matters. Even if she was here to kill him, she didn't want to have to kill six others along with him. They were being held up by his power, and, presumably, when he died they would all stop floating and turn into unpleasant smears on the pavement below. She knew she only had one shot at this before, but this made that reality all the more clear.
Aurora didn't hesitate for a second before making her move. Her aurora zipped over towards Mosh Man, moving faster than she normally made it move. There were no fancy patterns, nothing to make it pretty, she just wanted to close the gap as quickly as possible, and she knew that if she put her mind to it, she could do it in about a second. Her aurora ran through some of the people orbiting Mosh Man, but it couldn't be helped. Time was of the essence. She waited just a moment once it was there, just long enough for the person that was floating under him to move a little higher. She could already feel her body being pushed down, like he was going to slam her into the pavement, but she wasn't going to give him the time. Once underneath him was clear, she dropped almost everything she had in her aurora on him in rapid succession. A large block of concrete came out first, then a few more, then several steel beams, and other building materials came pouring out of it, burying him in a mountain of rubble, and then she topped it with some insulation foam. The mountain was large enough that the people floating around him would at least not have to fall as far as they would otherwise, and the foam would break their falls a little, but it still wouldn't be comfortable. It was at least better than falling onto the pavement below.
The entire world seemed to move in slow motion for her as everything started materializing and he started falling. Aurora herself was falling faster than she would have liked, likely due to Mosh Man's power, but she at least managed to grab onto the side of a building. It felt like her arm was being ripped off as though gravity was several times stronger than it should be as she tried to pull herself up. Despite that, she kept her eyes on the situation. The first block of concrete was on his back, pushing him down, and several more blocks were spawning around him to prevent him from flying away easily, and several more were spawning on top of him to prevent him from being able to push it away so easily. It wasn't too late, she could just turn everything back into particles, and he would likely survive. With as slow as it felt the world was moving it wouldn't even be hard. Her heart started beating more rapidly, but the objects continued to fall, and he continued to fall with them. It didn't take long before there was a thud on the pavement and a sickening crunch as his entire upper body was crushed underneath the initial block of concrete she dropped. The gore was quickly buried under everything else she dropped, so she would likely be the only one to see it. That was fine, she was the only one that needed to see it, and she refused to look away.
The entire fight probably didn't take more than seven seconds, but it felt longer. By the end, Aurora was sweating, and she felt sick to her stomach. The pull on her arm faded once Mosh Man hit the ground, allowing her to finally pull herself up onto the decrepit building. At this point, she just wanted to go home. She was feeling unusually exhausted despite how little work that took, and wanted to throw up. She couldn't do that though, and she knew she couldn't do that. There was still work to be done. Starting from the top of the pile, she started turning the mound of rubble back into sparkles. She needed to get her aurora big enough again to signal everyone that she was successful. While she was doing that, she pointed one of the older victims and shouted at him.
"You! You have a cell phone right? Hurry up and call an ambulance!"
She wasn't sure how many of these people were supers, but none of them were in funny clothes, so it was unlikely the hospital would immediately assume they were supers at the very least. The man looked at her like she was going to eat him, before fumbling for his phone. The pile was getting much smaller very quickly, but she didn't intend to take the whole thing. She might come back for it later, but for the time being, it was probably a bad idea to make the people on it move too much. This was more than enough particles for what she wanted to do. Her aurora gently floated over to where she was standing, and then she spread it out a lot more than it was a few minutes ago. From her location, it erupted into the sky, changing into a giant bird triumphantly expanding its wings. After one flap, it collapsed, and went back to floating around Aurora's feet. After that simple display, she condensed it again and jumped off the building. Her aurora was bright, making it clear from even a distance that she was still alive. She wasn't sure where she was going to go yet, but she wasn't in the mood to talk to people for the moment. It was something she was going to have to deal with later, but she was willing to give herself 30 minutes to herself first.

Dullahan watched the carnage through the few remaining cameras of his damaged bodies. There wasn't anything more he could do at this point. Attacking Aurora would be counterproductive. With Mosh Man dead, there was no going back to the way Pandaemonium used to be. The lights on his two deployed bodies slowly dimmed and turned off as he put them into sleep mode. He'd retrieve whatever was left of them later.
He turned his attention back to his workshop. He had already started building the bodies he expected to need if Aurora came out victorious. If his predictions were correct, then Pandaemonium members of a more moralistic sort were on the way, and that meant that Dullahan's own relative lack of ethics would make him a target. The Horde might soon become less safe for him, as strange as it was to think of it as safe at all in the first place.
But Dullahan would stay. Striking out alone would have costs of its own, and some small sentimental part of his mind still thought of Pandaemonium as his faction, no matter how the new leadership frowned on his ways.
