Name: Silas Hope (Though he almost exclusively uses his surname.)
Age: Twenty
Gender: Male
Occupation: Government Agent
Face Claim: Accelerator; To Aru Majutsu no Index (A Certain Magical Index)
Appearance: Hope is a lithe and physically unimpressive young man, stood at around 5'9, and weighing in at around 145lbs. His body seems almost malnourished, fitting with his gaunt, skeletal facial features. His bedraggled, long hair is a brilliant white, catching light in most opportunities, though seems straw-like and thin upon closer inspection. His skin is fair, pale and clear of imperfections, almost like porcelain. Eyes a peculiar shade of red, deep set in his face, no light escaping them, as if a sparkle had been removed. His undereyes are darkened from lack of sleep, or overindulgence in caffeine. Despite his age, his face is clear of any hair, though this does not seem to be through shaving.
He dresses primarily in a pair of black jeans and canvas shoes, with a patterned t-shirt finishing off the look. It seems fairly average to someone of his age, and don't seem out of place in society. His clothing is remarkably pristine, looked after. Even the soles of his shoes remain a glistening shade of white. Also, most strangely, is the choker around his neck; inspection would show that this is not for fashion, but that it has some sort of technological implement on the side, purpose unbeknownst to others without either reverse-engineering it, or asking Hope himself.
Skills:
Stealth: Hope is quite adept in the act of stealthily moving, walking quietly without using any sort of external assistance, and is rather capable of slipping unnoticed by the average individual without any help whatsoever. His footsteps are nigh silent when he puts effort into moving silently, and he is able to utilise this skill to move rather quickly without being detected by those who without external assistance in detection.
Firearms: Despite his rather unimposing figure, Hope is talented with weapons, particularly handguns. He's not quite physically strong enough to use much more than a sub-machine gun accurately, but fortunately, what he can wield, he's adept with. Able to hit almost without fail on a regular target, stationary or moving at regular human capacity, it can be said that he's a fairly talented marksman when it comes to pistols.
Tracking: Hope is able to use learned skills to track targets; be it through wet or muddy footsteps on concrete or grass, or even through the sounds of their feet reverberating through an alleyway. While he is only able to do this to the degree of a regular human being, he is quite capable in it, as a result of a multitude of studies.
Singing: Seemingly in contrast to Hope's devil-may-care demeanor, he has quite a brilliant singing voice. One might expect someone of his caliber to be tone-deaf, or enjoy the stranger side of the musical arts, but no, Hope likes classical and opera, and is rather impressive as a counter-tenor, a vocal range seldom come across in the musical world.
Thievery: Hope would appear to be a perfect example of a cat burglar. His skills, in conjunction with a light-fingered and subtle nature, allows him to be a rather proficient thief, stealing from pockets, residences and more, should he need or want to. This is not something he finds himself doing often, just something he's noticed he's rather good at.
Personality: Hope is a very conflicted character. While his personal moral code is remarkably strong, he seems to have no issue with the means to achieve such an end. A clear example would be a disconnect or disregard for the loss of civilian lives to prevent a criminal, particularly a dangerous one, continue to run rife. He is loyal, staunchly so, but only to the degree at which his moral code is being followed by, or shared by whom he holds loyalties to.
Unfortunately, Hope's upbringing has led to a lack of empathy and almost an inability to understand common emotion. He seems to not care, even if he does, about most people at one point, then takes far too much care about others just a second later. This polarity in his attitude and demeanor can render him difficult to understand as a human being, but either state is temporary at best. He is prone to upping and leaving at a seconds notice, with difficulty committing to anything, despite his fidelity. In the face of society, Hope would seem almost sadistic, or cold-hearted, though this is not the case.
