This was supposed to be a simple plot, something that would take her maybe ten minutes to pull off. All she intended to do at first was destroy the automatic sprinkler system so that it would spray water everywhere, soaking everyone inside. The weather man had to pay for his incompetence, but that was it. Until Aurora took a look at the newspaper. Paging through the newspaper to see if any of it was about her or anyone else important was becoming a daily ritual. Today, she was in the paper, however that stupid bird's nickname appeared to have caught on. With a twitch of her eye, she made the paper evaporate into sparkling particles, informed everyone in Pandaemonium that they would be attacking the news station on Laurel Boulevard today, and stomped on over. She didn't care if they didn't want to, or even if they didn't show up. She could beat the shit out of any deserters later, right now she had a mission.
Aurora's initial assault was quiet. Unusual for her given she normally liked go in with rainbows blazing to make everyone aware and fearful of her presence, but ultimately, the weather man still had to pay for his failure. That was still a quick job that she could easily do herself. After making her way to where they film this stuff, she quickly took out the sprinkler heads, causing them to spray water everywhere. The entire newsroom and all the people in it were soaked. Aurora was satisfied, it was time for the real fun to begin.
To avoid getting wet, Aurora went to a different floor. One where the sprinkler system was still in tact. After making a few holes in the wall, a few in the floor, and absorbing several bits of paper, news equipment, desks and whatever else happened to be laying around, her aurora grew to its usual size, and she sent it outside to fill the sky in order to signal her coming. Aurora walked through the building, the metal parts of her boots clanging against the tile floor, with her arms folded, giving a threatening look. Once she found the PA system for the building, she shoved the person using it aside and shouted into the microphone herself.
"Listen up peons! I am Aurora Disicio. DISICIO," she emphasized, "and this building is about to become a pile of rubble. You have 30 seconds to get out of here, so move it!"

SCHEME: Beating up the news station because it's full of assholes that can't get names right, besides being generally shitty towards supers.

Getting inside a news station is a cake-walk; Anonymous has done this multiple time in order to get the daily update on what scandals, crimes and rumors going on in Emerald City. This news station on Laurel Boulevard is one of his favorite news stations to get what he need every day. Once he’s inside, he snooped around the room fill with files cabinets containing the information he was looking for. It was suppose to be an easy walk-in: get in, get the information, and get out. That is, until the floor’s sprinkle system got set off; ensure the files he got is safe and secure in his coat, he disguised himself before coming out of the room to see what’s going on.
“Strange, no fire alarm got set off, so why is the sprinkler system activated?”
Soon he got the answer via the PA system all over the station; someone by the name of Aurora Disicio is going to bring this station into rubble, and she sound pissed. He might have heard of some rumor about her, and the recent newspaper did talk about someone name Aurora Disco starting a fight in Central Market. Her warning cause the whole floor he’s in panic and started to scatter like ants in the rain.
“Jeeze, someone woke up in the wrong side of the bed today” he joked, “guess I've gotten myself in another fun party.”
Once everyone in his floor was cleared out in panic, Anonymous returned back to his form before making his way toward the PA system on the floor above him.

OPPOSING: let’s not have one of his favorite informant spot got destroy just because someone feels cranky today.

It was getting easier and easier to spot Aurora. Not necessarily the super herself, but the cloud of color that always seemed to be above her current place of haunting. It was almost like she was doing it on purpose. After two run-ins with the super, Blue Jay had a pretty good idea of what to look for when villain spotting Auroras. His eyes would never forget that prism-like mist.
Class had been canceled and his homework was minimal, so most of his day had been open to heroing. His past couple of hours had been spent wandering around the city, looking for any trouble, and eating a subway sandwich. He found it in the form of said aurora above what he discerned to be the news station. Frankly, he was bored and would’ve wandered over there even if he had no idea what Aurora was up to, but he actually had a pretty good idea as to why she was there.
Blue Jay had read the paper. He’d spotted the mistake and chuckled to himself a little before going back to his crestfallen mood because for all of his (attempted) stopping of villains, he was not once mentioned as someone who was helping. If he was indicated at all, he was always “contributing to the destruction”. At least his name was starting to catch on. Hopefully his days of being “that guy with the sword” would be coming to an end.
Now was as good a time as any to make a good impression. Blue Jay appeared on the roof of the building across the street, and in a similar fashion to the jewelry shop, appeared on the top floor of the news station with a shattered window behind him.
He was certainly in the right place. If the wet everything wasn’t evidence enough, Aurora’s voice came over the speaker. Ignoring the workers who were deciding what to panic about first, Blue Jay set about remedying his lack of a plan.
Obviously the best thing to do was to stop Aurora before she, as she said, made it into a pile of rubble. “Everyone! Out!” Blue Jay shouted. “And, uh, where's the room where you talk through the speakers?” One man gave him a look that was an odd mix of quizicallness and terror, and pointed down. Blue Jay gave the man a nod and vanished. Now he had only to find her.
Blue Jay appeared a moment later about a foot off the ground on the floor below. The ground was dry - a good sign - and people were running away as quickly as they could - also a good sign - but where she was, he wasn’t quite sure.
“Disco!” He called, running in the direction opposite of the civilians. He had to be at least sort of close. “You know, destroying property is not a good way to get people to like you. Why couldn’t you just send a chocolate gift box like the rest of us?”
---
OPPOSING: I agree with you the news people are jerks, but I’m going to take this opportunity to attempt to get us on their good side by saving them from bodily harm. Thanks!

Lobisomem was in their usual garb, completely unrecognized as the apparent savage beast that plagued the city every night.
They held the newspaper with hands that came closer and closer to tearing the thing in half, if only to take out their anger and shame somewhere. They hurt people in every situation they had participated in. They didn't give a damn on structural damage, but they had knocked out some men and possibly left them to die, a fact that pierced their chest as they read the ongoing blabbering about "dangerous" supers. What if it was true?
They heard dogs barking at the villain first, not the anger of a cat that had fleed them, no, this was fear of something unknown. They peered outside and craned their neck around, ducking back into the building as they picked up the sounds of a villain called Aurora.
They gasped as water suddenly clung to them, drenching them to the bone. They raised their head as Blue Jay raced in, yelling at everyone to get out. They followed the civilian but suddenly grabbed one by the arm, "Hey, hey, stick around." They growled, "We're going to show you why you're lucky to have supers around."
Point made, they rushed into an alley, slipping on their wolfskin costume. It had used to be hot, but by now Lobisomem felt it a heavy blessing, where would they be without this post?
They didn't shift, not now. Even the thought of shifting in sunlight made their skin burn unbearably. People screamed as they saw their appearance, the thing that could be a monster or savior. They simply growled menacingly at the stares, they were all too familiar with the feeling of being feared even...hated.
They didn't bother running inside, instead, they climbed up the outside.
Lobisomem slipped in through a window and snarled, eyes blazing as they resolved to be a savior this time.
Opposing: Looks like Lobisomem is having a crisis too, they aren't transformed, but they'll fight!

As soon as he spotted the first employees of the news station streaming out the doors, Dullahan made his move. A rumbling roar gave only a second's warning before he exploded through the pavement in front of the news station, emerging from the sewers below. Today, his body was an enormous bulldozer, its scoop gleaming ominously as he set his sights on the target Aurora had picked. Twin rocket engines on the bulldozer's rear flared to life, and then he was ramming through the building!
It took only a couple of seconds to go from one side to the other. He burst in, demolished several interior walls, and then burst out again, leaving a bulldozer-shaped hole behind him. Then he swerved, treads skidding on the front lawn as he brought himself around for another pass.
A quick check confirmed that there didn't appear to be any innocents smeared on Dullahan's hull. That was fortunate. Aurora had instructed him to wait until the building was clear, but he might have jumped the gun a little in his haste to get this pointless job out of the way. Fortunately, it looked as though the news station wasn't built for this sort of abuse. This should be quick, provided that no heroes showed up to interfere.

People were scrambling out of the building as fast as they could, some even jumping out of windows rather than deal with the bottleneck at the doors. Aurora always found that giving them a time limit sped this part up, and being in a tiny confined room meant they wouldn't be trying to take pictures on their way out. With any luck, they'd be out of her fast and they'd be able to get this show on the road.
As expected, the usual idiot hero showed up to try to 'stop' her. Given Aurora's only goal here was to flatten the building, she wasn't quite sure why he thought breaking the window would somehow be anything but helpful to her, but she wasn't about to complain. Even if they were 'fighting' she'd welcome any outside help. The station certainly deserved it. It wasn't until he started trying to talk to her that her anger flared. She gritted her teeth and felt her eye twitch involuntarily as she shouted into the system once more.
"The fact that you have to rely on these tactics just shows how weak you are. I've handily defeated you in every encounter we've had. I can easily bury your stupid sword under fifty feet of concrete where you won't be able to reach it. I've proven time and time again how much better I am than you. I will not let you ruin everything I've built with A STUPID NICKNAME!"
Aurora's goal for the past couple of years was simply recognition. As she gained a degree of mastery over her powers, she felt more and more comfortable going for bigger heists, and working alone. She carefully built her image, built a way to be immediately recognizable, a persona with a degree of beauty and grace that would still strike fear into the hearts of everyone that saw her. The idea of having it be reduced to nothing because of a nickname was infuriating. No matter what, she couldn't allow it to happen. She would put on as many grand displays of power as necessary until they got it right.
Aurora was about to continue her angry rant when she felt the ground shake. She had an idea of what it was, but she hoped she was wrong given he wasn't supposed to be moving yet. Sure enough, a large bulldozer came crashing through the walls. Aurora immediately clung to the wall, disassembling anything that came anywhere near her as the building crumbled. If Dullahan was already acting, then she needed to get out of the building fast. She did not want to be in here when it was coming down. Quickly making a hole in the wall for her to escape, she ran towards the bulldozer and climbed on when it came to a stop.
"Dullahan, said to wait until I was outside again jackass."

Turned out he was, indeed, fairly close. Blue Jay could hear Aurora’s voice - not just what was coming through the speakers, but her actual voice. It did help that she was shouting.
Blue Jay poked his head in the nearest open door. Nope. He jogged to the door across the way and did the same. Nope. Thankfully, another hint to her whereabouts appeared in the form of a giant bulldozer that came from the side and a little too close to squishing the hero. Blue Jay warped to the side just in time for the large hunk of machinery to go roaring past, leaving a sizeable new scenic view for anyone working in this part of the building. At least they’d be getting a lot more sunlight.
Everyone in the news building would be getting a lot more sunshine than they’d probably been expecting when they woke up that morning; the vast majority of the building’s occupants had gotten at least one of the various forms of the message that leaving now and quickly was a really good idea. Most were taking it a step further and booking it as far away as they could as fast as they could.
That did not mean, however, that Blue Jay could afford to be too destructive. It was probable that people were still in the building, and that was ignoring the fact that he would very much like the building to remain standing (albeit already a little more like swiss cheese than it’d been before everyone’d shown up). He’d have to act with precision.
Poking his head out through the new express tunnel, Blue Jay saw the super running towards the bulldozer. That was easy, how convenient. The hero teleported to the center of the lane of crushed building material and drew his sword.
Blue Jay was both honored Aurora took time from her busy building destroying schedule to address his little hello and amused that it only took one word to get her shouting over a PA system at him. By “time and time again”, Aurora must’ve meant twice. They’d fought two times. Sure, he’d lost both, and Blue Jay guessed two did technically constitute “one time and another time again”, but as far as he was concerned, two was a terrible sample size. Study rejected. His favorite part, though, was the bit about burying his sword.
“I’d like to see you try!” Blue Jay shouted, raising his blade and preparing for battle.

Getting pass the panicking crowd of people was very annoying, but simple enough. As soon as anyone takes one look at Anonymous, they just froze in fear and run around, afraid to get even close to him. It took him some moment, but he manage to get himself on the floor where the PA system was located; good thing he memorize the lay-out of this building, otherwise he might spend most of his precious time looking for the bloody room. That, and the map located near the emergency exit is also quite useful. Without a moment too soon, he heard the sound of window shatter on this floor, and a quite familiar voice that he has heard from the train yard incident. Once inside, the hero looked all over the place, probably doesn’t know where the PA room is. Anonymous sighed; with Blue Jay here, the building is probably beyond saving now, seeing how he just love to destroy stuff. Judging from Aurora’s shouting over the PA and Blue Jay’s replies to her, Anonymous can tell he might have stumble upon a loving quarrel between the two rivals.
Suddenly a loud boom shook the entire building; the shake nearly caused Anonymous to lose his balance if he wasn’t hold on to the wall to steady his footing:
“Jesus fucks,” he shouted, “what now?”
He looked outside and saw a large mechanical bulldozer just blew a hole right where the PA room used to be; again, Anonymous recognized the design of the monstrosity similar to Dullahan’s helicopter. And not even a moment passed by, Anonymous picked up on the savage though of Blue Jay’s little pet Wolfie. Now he knew for very certain this building is beyond saving now, especially when all these supers just show up, and he couldn’t possibly stop all of them at once.
“Oh well, time for plan B,” he thought to himself amusingly, “let’s set off this building with the sound of a requiem. Oh news station on Laurel Boulevard, you will be miss; rest in pieces, my dear informant, allow me to avenge you before you go.”
With that in mind, Anonymous quickly make his way into the PA room, where he found Blue Jay had drawn his sword to the woman standing on the bulldozer, whom he could assume is Aurora herself.
Thanks Christ he managed to get the infomation that he needed before this party started.

Too light. No room to shift.
Lobisomem's thoughts raced as they rushed through the rooms, looking for some quality of the building. They weren't struggling to find Aurora, her screaming took care of that. They just couldn't find a place to transform without demolishing the building or hurting themselves.
Too late. The ground shook as if in an earthquake, sending Lobisomem face first into the floor. They clutched at their back for a second, thrown around fast enough to nearly rip their torn back open again. They crawled over to the window and spotted the exceedingly strange sight of a bulldozer ramming through the building.
It looked like transforming would have to wait. Lobisomem leapt down from the building, feeling their skin heat as the urge to change nearly overwhelmed the fear of burns. Their heart pounded, this was nuts! They were going to fight some supervillains in a humanoid form!
They glanced over to Blue Jay and waved, he probably wouldn't recognize them in a humanoid form, but it was just polite.

Dullahan pulled to a stop as he saw Aurora approaching. As she climbed aboard, he saw multiple people approaching with a fearlessness that marked them as superheroes. So much for finishing this quickly.
On the bright side, the incoming threat meant that Aurora probably wouldn't take out her anger on Dullahan immediately. There were more important things to deal with first. And if this fight went well, then perhaps Aurora would be able to vent all her anger at other targets and leave him in the clear.
Dullahan could dream, at least.
"Less talking," came his synthesized voice from the bulldozer's speakers. "More holding on tight."

Aurora would have glared at Dullahan if his head was somewhere she could see. She was sure he would be able to see it via his vehicle's sensors, but it just didn't have the same effect. It was bad enough that he drove in before the building was clear, but driving in while she was still in there? He could have easily gotten her killed if he happened to hit the wrong part of the building. She just made do with flicking one of the cameras near where she was sitting. Nothing that would cause damage, she needed his machines to work to pull this off, but it made her feel better none-the-less. He didn't give her much time to hold on tight before he started bounding towards the station again. The sudden burst of speed sent her flying back a little, enough so that she was pretty sure he did it on purpose, but it was nothing she couldn't handle.
Everything was going as expected, until something suddenly stabbed her arm. For someone as useless as Blue Jay was, he could certainly be hard to track. He made one big miscalculation though: she was pissed. Not just angry, that was practically her default state, but she had been seeing red all morning. A simple stab wound wouldn't be enough to phase her at this point. The fact that her aurora had been chasing him and completely surrounded the both of them just made it easier on her. She closed her elbow around the sword, grimacing from how painful it was to do something like that, and delivered a swift kick to his stomach. If he let up for even a second, her arm would easily be able to pry the weapon away from him.
"Try? As if I actually need to try. As if I've ever needed to try when you hand it right over to me! As if I've ever had to put any effort into making you completely useless!"
She lifted her aurora so he could see what was going on in its full glory. She gripped the edge of the bulldozer as he tried to pull her off, then spawned a bit of wall under her feet so she could jump back up. Moments later, the wall turned back into particles, and she pulled the sword out of her arm. Aurora looked back towards the building and casually tossed the sword back into it. Before it even hit the ground, she took out the floor where it would land. And again. And again. She kept going until there was a deep pit for the sword to fall into. It was deep enough that she was even able to take out the building's plumbing, causing the hole to fill with water. Once the sword was safely in the pit, she rematerialized the floor, burying it under several layers of concrete as she promised. With a huff she grabbed one of the scarves off her costume and tied it around her arm to help stop the bleeding, then turned her attention to Blue Jay once more.
"Did you really think this time would be any different? Did you think I was exaggerating when I said you were weak? What have you been able to accomplish? Every time I've seen you, you've just flailed ineffectually at me, and resorted to calling me names because it's all you can fucking do! Every time, you've been complete dead weight and had to rely on the people stupid enough to work with you in order to accomplish anything at all! And now the people here are going to have to protect your useless carcass, again, while having to--"
Before Aurora could finish, the bulldozer's horns blared. She winced and covered her ears. That was certainly one way to stop them from coordinating, but she wished he picked something that wouldn't blow out her ears too. Something that wouldn't interrupt her yelling at the stupid hero too; she wasn't done yet. Whatever, she could do it after the battle, right now the priority was to destroy this stain on the map. She turned her attention back towards the building and started pulling apart anything she could see. Walls, floors, papers, cameras, pipes, electrical wires, it didn't matter. Everything had to come down.

While Wolfie, at least he think that's Wolfie, circling the bulldozer sniffing around like a bloodhound, Blue Jay suddenly vanish before himand then appear right before where Aurora stood. True to her name, Aurora let out her…um, aurora, toward Blue Jay and pluck away the sword that he jab her with and buried it under what look like fifty-layer of concrete and water. And then…she started to monologue.
Ugh, hearing Aurora’s insufferable nonsense is so boring. Anonymous know these supers can be a bit cliché now and then, but this is almost unbearable to listen to. She and Blue Jay really need to get a room if they’re going to have their spousal dispute out in the open like this.
At least, it was until Dullahan let out the most infuriating noise he could ever imagine a machine can let out. Good lord, it almost like someone’s strangling a cat while waxing its fur off and scratching the chalkboard at the same time. And now, Aurora started to make everything around him into rubble. He wished he could at least let out a come-back at her as she’s destroying everything, but right now he can’t even hear himself think, let alone hearing anything else.
Kinda too bad Blue Jay lost his sword underneath all those rubble that Aurora put on top of it. After all, what does a sword-man do without his sword? But at least he was keeping Aurora’s busy monologue to herself before that screeching sound ruined everything. When he asked for a requiem farewell to the building, this is not what he had in mind.

With nothing beneath him and his grip on his sword lost, Blue Jay landed in the grass on his back. It’d all happened so fast - one moment all was going as planned, him swinging his blade as per usual, the next he was on the ground, reeling to figure out what had just happened as Aurora dropped his sword down a hole. Well, she’d certainly delivered on her promise.
It took the hero several beats to gather himself and get back up. Not because he was hurt - he was getting tougher, and a little kick to the stomach was comparatively easy to shake off - but more so he needed a moment to process while also dealing with the swarm of angry particles Aurora liked to set on him like it was her pack of hunting dogs. The blaring horn was also very helpful for paying attention to anything at all.
But get up he did. For as long as he could, he would, and if Aurora thought a little concrete between him and his sword was going to reduce him into a “useless carcass”, she was underestimating him. Yeah, he was weak. If that wasn’t obvious to anyone who’d seen him without his sword, clearly they were blind. Hell, even when he did have his sword he had trouble keeping up with some of these supers. Blue Jay’s powers weren’t fancy, tricky, or strange in the least; he hit stuff fast and hard and it seemed like every super and their mom had a way to counter at least half of his painfully simplistic abilities. It was a miracle if anything he wanted to do went off in a way that didn’t completely backfire on him. But even in face of all of his failures, Blue Jay would keep trying. It was the only thing he could do; it’s what he had to do, and not just because otherwise he was, as she said, dead weight for his allies. He’d just keep getting back up and throwing whatever he had at those he had to stop. If that meant words and the occasional tackle, that’s what he’d do. He didn’t care if that made him a useless scavenger in the eyes of others.
Presently, however, he had to retreat a bit. Now was one of the worst time he could be attacked and he was quite keen on making sure he wasn’t. Blue Jay made a quick survey of the area. It seemed two other supers had arrived - one he sort of recognized from the fight at the trainyard, though the two had booth been more occupied with other targets than they had each other. The other he felt like he knew from somewhere, but he wasn’t sure where… He didn’t currently have time to figure it out, and so he put that as second priority to finding some temporary shelter.
Instead, he spotted a couple of reporters poking their heads around the corner of the neighboring building, cameras in hand. Much to their evident surprise, Blue Jay sprinted up to them. “What the hell are you still doing here?! Run!” He shouted over the sound of the horn. He made angry and wild arm motions until they got the hint and followed everyone else with an ounce of self-preservation.
Blue Jay rested for a moment against the wall to catch his breath. For now he’d have to just stand back and watch, attempt to spot any weak spots on the super’s vehicle that he could hit. There had to be somewhere a careful strike could pierce through...
