Aurora hated the media for as long as she could remember; she hated it long before she became a super villain. The sheer amount of corruption and lying in something that was supposed to be an objective source of information infuriated her. Even so, until recently she had a degree of distance that prevented her from wanting to take all that anger out on the media. That distance vanished when they started talking about her and what she was doing. First they used the wrong name to refer to her, using that godawful nickname instead. Thanks to that, and likely some of Blue Jay's influence, the masses knew her as Aurora Disco now. The only people that knew her as Aurora Disicio were the people that payed a great deal of attention to super news. Hell, even a lot of the people in Pandaemonium knew her as Aurora Disco. It was infuriating. So, when Aurora opened the paper today and saw that they misreported about her again she once again crumpled the paper and dissolved into into particles in a fit of rage. There was nothing mysterious about her motive. She said it right to their faces over the intercom! There was no way they could have made a mistake like this. They were lying and they were going to pay for it.
This was going to be a solo mission. Aurora had no intention of telling anyone in Pandaemonium about it, nor did she intend to make it obvious that she was attacking something until she got to Laurel Boulevard. If any of them showed up, it'd be purely by coincidence. Or they were stalking her, though she preferred not to think about that option. Sticking to the backstreets of the docks was simple enough. Most people would be concerned, but she was well known enough that any unpowered criminals knew better than to try anything with her. Once she reached the cesspool of overpriced goods and media attractions, only then did she start to collect matter to build her aurora. Cameras dissolved, sets were destroyed, stores were robbed, the road and sidewalks were now filled with holes. With a full aurora at her feet, she jumped into the air and continually spawned large objects under her feet to jump off of. It didn't take too much longer for her to reach her destination: the news station itself.
It was in surprisingly good condition considering what she did to it. Most of the windows were still boarded up, but most of the ground floor had been rebuilt, and the upper floors at least had heavy tarps protecting it. The building even had electricity based on the amount of lights inside. This just displeased Aurora further. They didn't learn anything did they? She was going to have to hit them harder, more personally. It was clear that hitting the building didn't do a damn thing, so she was going to have to hit the source. As she made her way to the entrance, she let the things she spawned under her feet to keep her airborne drop to the ground rather than reabsorbing them into her aurora. It just wouldn't do if she didn't leave at least a little bit of a mess behind her.
Aurora landed right in front of the front door, which she promptly had disintegrate, along with much of the wall that held it, rather than opening it. The people in the lobby turned their heads and froze as she walked to the front desk. The receptionist looked like a deer in headlights. They all knew why she was here, they all knew how stupid their decision was, it was just a matter of how they would pay for it.
"Who's responsible for this?" Aurora asked, spawning a clipping of the newspaper article in her hand.
"I-I-I think...I think the editor might have um...might have actually gotten to write that one."
"Where is he?"
"Heeee's on vacation," her voice got quieter the further into that sentence she got and she started to slink down behind the desk.
"Of course he is," Aurora said flatly. "Where's his office?"
Once she got the directions to the perpetrator's office she made her way there in the most direct way possible. Sure, it was two floors up, but that wasn't much of a problem for her. Sure there were people in the way, but she could make them move with little effort. Once she made her way there, she opened a few holes in the wall, sent her aurora outside to fill the sky so everyone would know she was there, cracked her knuckles, and got to work busting the place up leaving holes that spelled out her name everywhere she could. She fully intended to take everything in this room as well, from family photos to his computer to the floor itself.
Then she might have to see about having another word with the weather man...

A month had passed ever since the news station got nearly demolish by the Pandaemonium, and it was slowly rebuilding from the damage. The place is still in business, and so Anonymous decided to take a short visit at the station in order to gain some nice information that would help him in the future. After all, it is here that he found a very useful information in the future; if the data is correct, then he only have one month to get ready for the situation.
For now, he need to see if anything news happen that the news people wanted to hide. He had been rather curious about the whole Seaside Quarantine incident, and he was wondering if the station has anything useful for him to get a better understanding of it. Using his usual disguised of a camera-man working for the station, he can simply walked into the building without much problem or stirring up some annoying question.
Today, however, doesn’t seem to be one of his usual days. As soon as he got close to the building, he can already tell something happen when he saw the front door was blast open, and a huge aurora was hovering above the place. Well, at least he thought it was blown open, judging that the door wasn’t anywhere in sight. Rushing into the building, he noticed a receptionist, seem like he might have soil himself from fear.
“What happen?!” he rushed toward the receptionist, pretend to be concern.
“T-That…that lady, Aurora Disco, s-s-she b-b-b-burst in, shouting. S-she demand to know where the editor’s office was.”
“Again?” Anonymous thought to himself, “that lady sure have a lot of free time, isn’t she?” Facing back at the receptionist, he continued his act:
“Have you called the police? I’ll go to help people evacuating the area, so you better run while you still can.”
He quickly made his way toward the staircase and going up to the editor’s office up the second floor, pushing through the wave of panicking people rushing down the stair. As soon as he got to an area safe from prying eyes, Anonymous returned to his form and approached the office. Turning in the doorway and noticed her making a mess of the office while disintegrating stuff inside, he crossed his arms and look at her with a questionable expression:
“Lady,” he said to her, “you really need to get a better hobby other than being a demolition expert. I would recommend taking lesson in knitting if possible.”

Aurora had been making a fine mess of the place when some jackass decided that it was a good idea to interrupt her. Rather than get a better angle at where the voice was coming from, she opted to just make the entire wall disintegrate instead. Her scowl softened a little bit when she realized they at least had the decency to send another super after her, but not by much once she realized exactly who this was. He was one of the people she always figured would be a problem sooner or later. Used a great deal of underhanded tactics, not limited to hitting someone to get at an entirely different person, a tactic she had particular distaste for. If he wanted a fight, she would be happy to deliver.
"I'd love to stop coming back here, so maybe if these idiots--"
She made another large piece of floor disintegrate into her sparkling particles, the objects that were once sitting on top of it went plummeting to the ground below. The potted plant that was there shattered on impact, spreading dirt and leaves all over the floor. The lamp shattered, the lampshade twisting in the broken glass. The hole itself was nearly three times as large as the ones she was known to create in the past.
"Would just--"
She grabbed the editor's computer, along with the monitor, and most of the objects on his desk.
"Do their goddamn job right--"
The filing cabinet near the editor's desk exploded into particles, the files and papers fluttering to the ground now that there was nothing left to hold them. One by one she absorbed all of them too.
"I would have to keep coming here! I swear these people are so incompetent I want to believe they're outright malicious at this point!"

Anonymous simple chuckled at Aourora’s tantrum; he knew the Pandaemonium could be slightly unstable, but this is just too hilarious to not feel entertain. Obviously she must have came to wreck the place a second time for the same reason, only this time she’s more piss off than before. He simply looked around the place that she’s trashing and shrug:
“Well, I know who I’m NOT calling for re-decorating my office,” he joked, “are you always this angry all the time? I’m sure there’s an anger management class nearby that might help you with that.”
Anonymous tried his best not to be in her vaporizing direction, and carefully looked around to ensure she didn’t throw or drop a huge slap of dry-wall at him.
“Look, if you’re piss off at the editor, I believe there’s a better way to complain than wrecking the building. You know, like writing a complain letter, wait until he return to chat; anything that a rational person would do. But then again, you people aren’t very rational when it comes to this, am I right?”

Aurora continued deconstructing everything in the editor's office. After going through some of the framed degrees sitting behind his desk, she moved onto the bookshelf on the opposite wall. Much like with the filing cabinet, once the bookshelf was gone, the books started to fall to the ground until they were picked up one by one. She was willing to let his sarcastic comment go considering she was neither an interior decorator, nor did she think that sarcasm was the slightest bit humorous.
"Oh, I'll be back here once he's back. I just thought I'd leave a little surprise for him in the mean time," she huffed. "I would have thought you of all people would understand that not all things can be solved with a strongly worded letter, given your MO. These people control the flow of information that most people will see. Having it be inaccurate is unforgivable, and there's absolutely no way it was an accident this time. I very explicitly stated why I was here, over the intercom no less, and he's still acting like my motivations were somehow unclear or mysterious. I can only imagine how inaccurate the rest of it is. I'm betting they'll write a nice, glowing story about all of us the second a dragon decides Emerald City sounds like a nice place to visit and then go right back to twisting everything they see unless someone gives them a reason not to."

Staring at Aurora continued demolishing the office further, Anonymous remained silence for a moment. Normally he would disagree of her reason; however, she does have a point about the situation. The people in this news station do keep some certain information secret from the public eyes. Sure they were afraid that it might cause a panic, but that still doesn’t give them an excuse to hide it from the people, especially when the news can be devastating if it remains a secret like this.
“As much as I can see your point, Aurora,” he said to her, “I just don’t see how doing this is productive to your end goal. I mean, they can simply rebuild the whole place that you destroyed as if nothing had happen. Hell, you might simply play right on their hand to discourage people on how dangerous us supers are. All they have to do is making you piss off and bam, they got the very story headline the next day all thanks to your silly little tantrum.”
As he talked to Aurora, he heard a clicking sound of a camera and a tiny flash of light from the corner of his eyes. He turned toward the flash and noticed a photographer hiding in the corner of the room, taking a photo of him before ducking back to hiding. Anonymous sighed before making his way toward the man and grabbed him by the collar. The photographer clearly panics as soon as he saw Anonymous, but unable to run away when he felt a sudden vertigo and run right into the wall.
“I apologized,” he said to the photographer as he snatched the camera away and stared at him with his red eyes, “I’m a bit camera-shy, and it’s rather rude of you to take a picture of a lady in secret like that, so I would kindly ask you to not taking picture of us without our permission, okay? Now run along, and forget what you see here-”
He then looked at the man’s name tag: “-Jason Howle. I’m sure your wife and kid, Dorothy and Susan, would very love you if they don’t have to meet me personally, know what I mean?”
The man's eyes looked like they're about to pop out of his head in horror of how Anonymous managed to learn about his family's name just by looking at his name tag. Fearing for their own safety and his, he nodded his head.
“Wonderful, I’m so glad we can come to an understanding.” With that, he let go of the collar. As soon as he got his footing back, the photographer run away like a chicken with its head cut off. With the situation being dealt with, Anonymous returned to where Aurora was with a camera in hand:
“You don’t mind me keeping this, are you?” he asked her with a smirk, “I have a feeling that man managed to get your good side while destroying the office.”

"It's a message. It won't accomplish anything on its own obviously. I had intended to do more last time I was here, but rescuing Dullahan from himself took priority. I doubt I'll change their mind after the first time, but after the tenth, twentieth, or even the fiftieth time they'll start to get the message. Face it, these people won't be convinced by logic or reason, you must know that much already. They know what they're doing. They know what damage they cause, they have an agenda so it's not like they're doing it unintentionally. I have no intention of letting an organization like this, an organization that needs to be trusted to function, get away with lying. If words or reason won't make them stop, then I'll find another way. I'll keep coming back as may times as it takes, and I'll push a little harder each time I have to. I'm happy to give them the opportunity to stop before I have to do anything serious, but I will escalate this issue as much as they make me."
Aurora huffed and continued taking apart the room. Soon there wouldn't be much left. It was a fairly nice office, and a fairly large one as offices went, but it was still an office. It was still a fairly small room and Aurora could break apart things quite quickly.
"And it is NOT an tantrum! The stories that are about me, or the ones I was directly involved with, are the only ones I personally know the exact details for. They are the only ones that I personally can know to be 100% false. I highly suspect that the rest of them are too, but I can't say for sure. I also don't care if they write negative stories to begin with as long as they're accurate. That's part of what makes this situation so infuriating! I do a lot of things people don't like in an over the top manner. You do things that would give people nightmares for months. They shouldn't have to make anything up!"
Her voice got louder the more she talked. This entire situation just pissed her off and the person she needed to send the message to wasn't even here. It was sensible for him to leave, he undoubtedly knew she would be coming, but that just proved that she was in the right here. Despite the sound of her yelling and the sound of her breaking everything in the office with her power, she was still able to make out the sound of a camera taking a picture. Aurora didn't care though. This was small time compared to the things she'd done in the past. She'd taken entire roofs off of buildings, removed entire walls, looted entire stores, was destroying one office really going to make a difference in anyone's opinions? Probably not. She was sure they could spin it to make it extra terrible, but even that was unlikely to do anything to her reputation besides make her look even more scary to the general populace, and that was something she considered positive for the time being. Her ears picked up something else though. Something that somehow managed to piss her off even more. When Anonymous came back her glare towards him deepened.
"But somehow I don't think you're in any position to be lecturing me on how pointless something is. Is your power really so weak that you have to threaten other people just to deal with a stupid, unpowered reporter?"

“What, that?” Anonymous looked at Aurora, “Please; that guy isn’t worth my effort. Beside, he’s simply an innocent man who was trying to earn his living; I’m not so heartless as to destroy his mind simply because of that. Unlike you, lady, I know when to use my power, and how to use them responsively; I only targeted those who think they are above the law and got away with hurting innocent lives.”
Anonymous then let out a chuckle while swinging the camera around by its leather strap.
“Don’t you worry about a thing; though you are guilty of vandalism, I don’t really care much about what you’re doing to this guy’s office. That guy was an asshole anyway, so whatever he does that make you so piss off at him, I’m sure he deserves it.”
He stopped swinging the camera and looked at some photos that the photographer managed to capture before he ran off like a little girl. Some of the images were rather blurry, obviously from his shaking hand out of fear of getting caught. Other seems well-frame enough, even the shot of Aurora’s childish tantrum while screaming about stuff.
“Speaking of stories,” he said to her without looking up from the photo, “what do you think about the Seaside incident? People were blaming supers for causing the black-out, but I have a feeling that you might disagree on that notion.”

"Seriously?" the office suddenly stopped disintegrating as Aurora stopped to face Anonymous directly. "That's your reason for doing what you do? I spent so much time trying to--" she rubbed her forehead. "Okay, let me get this straight. You go after people who are above the law, by being above the law yourself. You go after people that hurt innocent people, but involving innocent people in your schemes. Now, I know that last bit is shrouded in a lot of rumors and the unknown right now, but I know you know exactly what I'm talking about, and I'm not sure how else you can describe the murder of two children. Face it, you're nothing but a massive hypocrite!"
She briefly considered taking out the floor near him, but ultimately decided against it. No, her focus needed to be on this guy's office and this guy's office alone in order to give the effect she wanted. Nothing else would be touched. Glaring, she turned back to the office to finish off her work. At this point, she had little desire to share any information or any of her speculations with him.
"It's a blackout, there's not much to say. There's very few things that could cause something like that, but superpowers are one of them. Maybe you should just go to the quarantine and investigate it yourself. I doubt anyone would miss you."

Anonymous simply laughed, laugh like an insane person losing his mind. Clearly Aurora must have heard about the Myrtle Lake incident, and she’s referencing it now:
“You are quite correct, lady; I’m not denying about that. But I do believe you might be a little misinforming about that situation if you called me a murderer. I’ll explain to you in the best way that someone like you could understand.
I’m no murderer; I wasn’t the one who hold the knife and murder those two children. I thought it was rather clear that the man was the one who slaughter his family. I didn’t hypnotized or mind-controlled him as the news said, I’m merely putting him in a position where he must choose his action, and clearly he decided to murder them. I mean, he have the choice of running away like a little girl, but he simply decided not to, and here’s why:
Human being, such as yourself, both unpowered and supers, have these urges that exist deep in the psyche. Whether or not they decided to commit these actions to satisfy the urges is their decision. In the end, they make choices in their action, and they must live with the consequence of their action. That man, for example, now have to live with the guilt that he had of slaughtering his family, just as he had ruined many other families with his action. Just like you have a choice to simply ignore the news, but you decided not to since they need to be taught a lesson in spreading false information. That editor decided to write a false statement in his story, and how he’s facing that consequence of you wrecking his office.
That, my dear, is what I do. I’m giving them the choice that they can take, giving them the option that existed deep in their psyche. I don’t control their decision; I simply trigger the event that put them in that point in their life. Of course for those who break the law, I simply make them see their nightmare come to life, as a form of punishment for their crime.”
After he looked over the photo in the camera, Anonymous took out the memory chip in the camera and put it in his pocket for safe keeping. As for the camera itself, he simply put it down on the ground.
“It is true; there’re many reason that could cause the black-out. Why else would I be here for, lady, taking a tour? I am looking for more information about the Seaside incident, so I would really like the building to stay intact while I search. I also would like to know more information before heading in to what obviously a lion's den at Seaside quarantine area.”

Aurora rolled her eyes. "It's truly astounding how far people will go to try to justify themselves. Even just going by the letter of the law you apparently care about, you would still be held responsible for the same reason someone hiring a hitman would be held responsible. It hardly matters whether you pull the trigger yourself when you have that much influence in what happened. Ignoring that entirely, you still seem perfectly okay with the fact that you involved people who had nothing to do with any of this in your stupid little plot. Unless you believe that children are also responsible for the crimes of their parents, or that teenage angst is worth getting them killed over. I'm hoping you're talking out of your ass at this point because if you actually believe any of that then you are beyond pathetic."
At this point, the room was clear. Even most of the floor was missing, with only a few chunks hanging onto the edges proving there was a floor there at any point. A few decorations fell onto the floor below, mostly plants and floor lamps given the floor wasn't there anymore. All his notes, his computer, all his books, his degrees, everything was in her aurora now and she was able to freely walk away with it. Her work done here, she saw no reason to stay for the time being. She'd find out just how long the editor was going to be gone, and she'd pay him a visit then. Turning away from Anonymous, she got ready to hop down the hole in the floor she just created, but left one last parting remark.
"Then why are you searching around in this glorified tabloid? Somehow, I doubt the police are going to release anything about what's going on until the situation has long since been resolved. Given the state of the Emerald City police department right now, I'm not even sure you'd find anything there either. I guess you're stuck just being curious."

Anonymous simply shrugged:
“Well what can I say? Sometime you can’t ignore the possibility of collateral damage. I mean, you think you doing this sort of thing only affect the editor? Each time you destroyed something, the people have to get the money to fix them from somewhere. Obviously they don’t have your ability to conjure money out of the ether, so they could either downside their workers to reduce the cost, or obtain money through questionable mean. You can call me anything you like; personally I don’t really care what you think about my method. I figured we can have some nice idle chit-chat, and who know, I might got your opinion on the matter of Seaside.”
He looked at the room that Aurora just finished trashing; there’s pretty much nothing left in the room. At the very least the building’s foundation remains untouched, so the place won’t be coming down anytime soon unless a huge earthquake happens. Obviously she’s done what she came here for, so she probably doesn’t have any more reason of staying around.
Then again, he does feel curious as to how strong her mental mind is. He can think of multiple way of performing a thought experiment on her. He could see if he can decrease her adrenaline level, which might be the reason as to why she always seems to lose her temper so easily. He could decrease the dopamine level, or changing her serotonin level, changing her mood and behavior. If not, he would like to see how she would react if he gets a hold of her thought, reading her surface thinking, even finding out why she does what she does. Clearly she does feel strongly toward family, judging from how her mind react when he threaten that guy’s family.
Anonymous just shrugged; he could do all those things, but there’s not really a reason to. Aurora simply too boring to mess around with, since it seems that the only thing she’s capable to do is just explode into rage.
“Research,” he replied to her obvious rhetorical question, “it’s always nice to see things from many different perspectives. This glorify tabloid, as you call it, does sometime give useful information now and then, like the last time you came here because of the same reason. Sometime you just need to know where to look.”

Aurora rolled her eyes. Collateral damage? How exactly was deliberately targeting someone because he knew it would get to another person collateral damage? She wasn't the least bit surprised that he was trying to turn the discussion back on her. People did it all the time when they understood that they didn't have a leg to stand on, so she was used to it at this point. As always, she wouldn't let people get away with using such basic tactics. It was a sign that she already won anyway, so this entire conversation was becoming increasingly pointless.
"Yes, targeting others to get to your actual target is bad, I'm glad you agree," she landed on the ground below with a clang as the metal parts of her boots hit the ground. "Maybe you should consider actually focusing on your target next time you decide to be above the law and destroy someone's life.
"What about Seaside is there to even talk about? Something bad happened, the government closed off the city. That's all we know. Nothing else has been released, I doubt anything has even been released to the press at all. Saying anything more would be pointless speculation that could only be conspiratorial and I'm afraid I left my tinfoil hat at home. I have no interest in trying to guess what was going on. The truth will come out soon enough."
Without waiting for a response, she walked out of the office she landed in, actually using the door this time. The hole in the floor was big enough, and her own pace was casual enough, that she could be easily followed, but she doubted anyone would get in her way at this point.

Anonymous observed Aurora leaving the place through the multiple holes she made on her way.
“Well, guess she took the lesson on creating exit from Azoth,” he said to himself amusingly.
Looking around the mess that she made, Anonymous simply shrugged; at the very least she didn’t brought the whole building down like the last time, and at the moment he have a more precedent matter at hand. For now, he can let little Miss Tantrum walked away with the mess she made here. He turned around, turning his disguised back to a normal person before continuing his research.
“Oh right,” he suddenly realized something, “it sure was a good thing I didn’t let her know that the editor should be back tomorrow. He has so many questions to answer about his reason of writing such vague headline on that situation. Guess I better get to him before Aurora does at the airport tomorrow.”
With that, he goes back to his usual business while the whole place is empty thanks to Aurora’s little rampage. It’s so nice when he can spent as much time as he want around their little honey pot without worrying about the time. The police should arrive in about twenty minutes or so because of traffic and possible on the look out to Aurora; that leave him plenty of time.
“Guess I should giving her a thanks the next time we cross-path, as long as she doesn’t being so rude about it.”
