"I'm sure you could. Hell, you haven't shut up yet." Greyson replies to Grace coldly, not even looking her direction as he responds.
He looks at his nails, offering a small shrug when Kasey corrects him about their voices. Grey's thoughts are more preoccupied by Alex's nerves. They were hard as steal, his smile not even flickering when splashed with the wine. That was kind of unsettling. No one was really this ni-
"Oh. It's really happening?" He asks rhetorically before sighing when the competition begins.
He all but rolls his eyes at Grace, giving a side look to Kasey to see if she was really going through with it.

He was about to accept Grace's apology graciously before she was side tracked by the party pooper and the contest. Both girls were just egging this on it seemed. And when the song started he just let out a small sigh and accepted the towel to clean himself off as best he could. Though the wine would stain without a doubt. But that was College Daze for you.
"Oh I don't know Edgar. Maybe if I was going off against you and Grey there."
He'd crack a small smile as he shot them a challenge of his own. He was confident that he could do quite well in such a contest, but if he was going to do it then why not do it with them? What a story that would be.

"Glad to know this is normal." Kasey sighs as Alex takes the towel, listening to Edgar's explanation of how campus life functioned under a haze of alochol and probably other things. She shook her head, a tiny smile trying to make itself apparent. She really wasn't feeling the need to sing along in a contest, it seemed silly, but what would she do? Back down out of pride? Alex had already warned her Grace would probably win by mentioning her focus in musical theater. Either way, she'd already agreed, so there was no backing out now. She watched as the impromptu stage was set up, watching as Grace rallied the crowd to her song, ending in an applause of high energy, cheers, and applause. Of course it would; these were her crew, the poeple she hung with. Not to mention that the girl actually had the skills developed to back it up. She may have had a bitch fit at Greyson, but it wasn't just from ego. Kasey could feel whatever chances she had of winning shrink, and knew that in the end, it was a diversion. There was no deciding anything or winning anything with this, but people didn't need to focus on a fight before summer vacation freed them. "Oh, you guys should definitely give it a shot." She giggled and looked at Edgar. "I'll even take the pictures for you." Shrugging at the look Greyson gave her, the small teen just smiled at Grace when the girl gave her even more attitude than before. "Of course! You didn't think you'd scare me away, did you?" Grinning at the challenge and giving her competition a wave, Kasey went up to the makeshift stage. Sure, she wasn't trained and her friends in the group were minimal, but that didn't matter. She was going to give it her all and walk away with her head held high rather than be cowed into defeat. Her own song, when she sang, was an oldie, but had the kind of energy and vibe to help put things back in the proper mood. The ginger was a ball of energy as she sang, amping up the crowd as she gave it her all. Winning didn't matter so much here, not when everyone would see and remember. If that was the case, she wanted them to remember her having fun and not backing down just because the odds were against her. She'd even wave at Edgar if he took a picture of her. While not as enchanting, Kasey's singing was enthusiastic, and the grin never left her face, even against those who were scowling at her or seemed smug, like Grace, who stood to the side in a group with the other actors. When finished, she handed off the mic and literally hopped off the stage in a small leap, bouncing on the heels of her feet and letting the motion carry her steps as she joined her friends. The sneering actress who had started the fight didn't even gain acknowledgement from Kasey, and wouldn't if she continued to watch and gloat in silence. Not that it would last for long; Kasey was certain of that. "Alright, who's next?"

Edgar chuckled at Alex’s little challenge and Kasey’s encouragement to try out in this singing contest:
“I’m afraid I have to pass on that,” he told them, “I have no chance of make it through the first verse without being boo off by these alcohol-driven people. I’m a bit tone-deaf, you see.”
It’s something he hated to admit, but music isn’t really his forte. He still remember his neighbors would knock on his door to make sure he was okay every time he started playing his guitar, or even trying to sing in the shower. He mentally sighed and shrugged; he just need more practice, but at this moment he isn’t that confident of his performance compare to a theater guy and the two ladies.
When Kasey accepted the woman’s challenge and get on the stage, he waved at her with a smile as she sang. He took a few shot as the crowd got pump up from her song, and once she finished singing, he gave her a round of applause. He looked over to where the woman is standing while listening to Kasey’s singing voice. Surprisingly, she doesn’t seem annoyed at Kasey once she heard her song. Rather than being butt-hurt or piss off at what happen, she also gave Kasey a small clap out of respect instead of sarcasm.
“Well what do you know,” she said to Kasey, “Guess even someone like you can have at least some potential. Not bad, but you still have a lot to learn if you think you can compare to me.”
Even though there’s a slight hint of condescending behind her tone, she did genuinely give Kasey a small praise of her singing. Edgar feel glad that the two ladies decided to have this sing-off competition, because now it seems like those two finally managed to calm down from the cat-fight before. And because of Kasey’s encouraging, some of the guy in the crowd started to volunteer to let their latent talent shine out. Or at least until tomorrow morning once the Daze is over at least. He then turned to Alex:
“Oh come now, I’m sure you can show these ladies your talent. Don’t use me as an excuse; your audience is waiting for you to shine.”

Greyson watches as Kasey actually follows through with the contest. Her approach was rather genius, even if she hadn't done it knowingly. Grace was a good singer, a great one actually. There weren't many people who could compete with it so Kasey didn't. Instead of trying to match voice for voice she opted to put on a more grand show. Her performance was certainly better and the audience looked to have a lot more fun. Pretty brilliant, so Grey gives her a nice clap.
"Ah. I don't think so." Grey waves his hand and shakes his head.
"I'm not exactly the singing kind of guy. But this whole thing was your idea, so I don't see how you can say no." He shifts his look from Alex to Edgar.
