Siren smiled to herself as Titan let her have her moment. He really seemed to be a great guy. Calm, quiet, supportive. He probab;y makes someone really happy when he is out of costume. How lucky they are. She'd kill to have someone half as decent in her live. No, a third! The cool comfort of his hand made her sigh again when she felt it on the back of her head. Who knew someone like him knew how to be so gentle. He was a precious snowball in this world of brimstone and fire. The pinkette stood up, making her eyes meet Titan's once more.
"You know if I ever met your spouse I am telling them how lucky they are to have you and should try to hold on," she paused, winking at him, "Or else some masked maiden may just attempt to steal you away."

Titan wondered a little bit about how odd this would have seemed to any observers. Thankfully, the area where the two were was practically devoid of anyone, which was fortunate considering they were two supers standing in broad daylight. Or afternoon light, whatever it was called. However, Titan was caught completely off guard when she looked up at him. There was a look in her eyes that could have meant...no, it couldn't. Unfortunately, it seemed to be that way, as Siren started talking about spouses and...well, it was safe to say he got the idea. Titan's eyes widened as he struggled to come up with a response to what she just said. Was she flirting with him? She was! Stammering for a bit, Titan could only get a few words out.
"I...I...uh, I don't have a...a spouse"

Siren raised a delicate pink eyebrow at his proclamation. At the same time a smiled spread on her lips. There is no way this could really be true. Here is a guy who seemed genuinely sweet and no girl had the sense to swoop him up? Oh well, their loss was her gain.
"Oh really," she began as she used the purr she used at the docks, "Now why would someone like you be single?"
It was true that she shouldn't be looking for a relationship right now. But she was liking this Titan guy. What harm would it be to make him squirm a bit. It may bring him out of his shell if she continued this. Besides those pecs were amazing! Placing a small hand on his chest, she looked up at him and fluttered her eyelashes.
"Well then how about I give you my number and you call me the next time you are free."

As soon as Titan showed how uncomfortable he was with the whole situation, Siren seemed to step up the flirting game. She got even closer, ignoring any sense of personal space, and Titan could feel a very hard pounding in his chest. He was also finding it very hard to breathe at the moment. Everything seemed to get suddenly hot when she placed a hand on his chest, and he was lost and confused enough to not consider pulling her hand away. All he could do at the moment was stand there, paralyzed, and try not to collapse. Titan wouldn't ever admit it outright, but he was never good with the whole romance or flirting thing. There was a very good reason he preferred to stay unnoticed than draw any kind of attention to himself in social situations; to avoid situations like this. The offer for her number was unanswered as Titan had no idea how to respond. He just stood there in dumbfounded silence, trying to get his bearings.

Siren waited for Titan's answer, giggling at his silence. She could feel the pounding in his chest radiate through her hand. It elated her that she had that effect on him. It also made her wonder what other effects she had... That was when she realized what she was doing. She was flirting with him to push away her other feelings. Yes he was a sweet soul. Yes she found him attractive but she did not need nor want this right now. Or at least she thought she didn't. It was too late to pull back so she kept her smile on her face. Even still, as the silence continued she could feel her heart race in her chest. It kept beating faster and faster. Though it in no way matched the speed in Titan's chest. Slowly she moved her hand down his torso and brought it back to her side.
"Well? What do you say?" she asked.

Siren was clearly enjoying Titan's stunned silence, clearly aware of just how awkward she had made things for him. And to think he had just come along to make sure things were alright. Now he was completely at her mercy. She was more amused by the fierce pounding of his heart, the flirting clearly having its intended effect on him. Thankfully, she eased up on it after a while, sliding her hand off his chest and keeping it to herself. Titan let out an almost involuntary breath of relief. Things weren't as uncomfortable anymore as she kept a fair distance away from him. He wasn't quite out of the woods yet, as she asked him about the phone number thing again. Titan wracked his brain for an answer. He couldn't say no, that would just be rude, so saying yes seemed like the best option. Titan slowly nodded, confirming that, yes, he was fine with having her number.

Siren's eyebrows shot up as her eyes widened. With how long the silence lasted she was expecting a no or maybe some excuse about being gay. When that didn't happen, she reached into her pocket to find a scrap piece of paper and a pen. Thank god her day job ingrained in her to always have these items around. It always helped when she didn't have her phone or needed to remember something. She scrawled the digits on the page and signed it with her name. Her heart began to race again as she handed him the paper. Why was she nervous? She was the one hitting on him not the other way around! She started this bs. However, deep in her mind she was already wondering if he would call or just throw the number away. Gods what was she some desperate school girl? If he didn't call there were always others.... Maybe not like him but there were others.
"Hold onto that Titan. You may need me for something one day."

She seemed oddly surprised by his acceptance of the number, which was strange because she was the one that offered it in the first place. Was it some kind of bluff? Titan thought that maybe she was actually hoping that he was going to say no, which was strange, but women worked in mysterious ways. Rather than try to renege on her offer, Siren instead pulled out a pen and paper to write her number on. It must have been either a back up phone she was using, or she really trusted him enough to not try to find out who she was using that number. Not that he was capable of doing so anyway, he wasn't exactly Sherlock Holmes or had access to those records and such. Still, he graciously took her number and looked at it for a while. While it was there in front of him, Titan still felt the need to try to memorize it, in case he lost it for some reason or another. This was the first time someone had ever given him their number, so it was kind of a special occasion. Titan looked back up to Siren and smiled underneath his mask. Now they had a way of keeping contact outside of meeting each other by incident.

The pinkette could see the faint outline of Titan's smile through his mask. She smiled back as she put the pen away. Sure it could be dangerous if Titan gave it out to anyone else but he had no reason to. And she did not plan on giving him one anytime soon. She more expected him to use it to lecture her when he got wind of a crime she committed. Or on days like today when he needed help. Feeling just a tad bit naughty she stood up on her tip toes like she had doen their first meeting. Just like then, she again kissed his cheek. Taking a step back she looked up at the giant.
"Call me soon alright?" she asked before disappearing. The only thing that Titan could hear was the soft clack of her heels on the concrete as she walked away and out of his life. For today at least.

As Titan continued to look at the number, still making sure that he memorized it correctly, he heard the clacking of heels as Siren approached him. On her tip-toes, at just the right height where her head met his, she leaned in a gave a peck on the cheek, just like at the docks. It didn't have the stupefying effect that it did back on the docks, but Titan still felt his face becoming incredibly warm. He didn't think he would ever get used to that. Titan could only stand in silence as Siren stepped away and disappeared, the only trace of her presence being the piece of paper in his hands. Titan wondered how he would go about this. While he trusted her, he was still a little bit paranoid about his own identity. Using his own number could be a little risky, so he devised a system where he would use a pay-phone anytime he needed to talk to her. He felt a little bit bad about not giving her total trust, but it was better to be safe than sorry. Besides, she sure was a mischievous one...
