It was easier using sound waves to destroy than to lift up, forcing Awenydd to make sure she kept her new tactic up until her focus had to fall more onto the cops who were thinking of leaving. When one fell, they became human dominoes, allowing the supers and their cohort a few more precious seconds. The foundation on the back portion of the building was crumbling in areas where she wasn't working on holding it up as an obstacle, and in the background came the sound of muffled shouts.
Then came the sweet, delicious purr of a motor coming to life, gunning and thrumming as it was revved. Awenydd's lips curled upward into a wicked grin, letting some of the wall fall inward on the officers to slow them down or disorient them. They meant business well enough, so would she. Two supers lost in one night? Oh, the shame for them come morning.
The scream of rubber burning its memory into the pavement signaled that their time was almost up. The bard took a jaunty step back and cocked a two-finger salute to one of the officers that had started to rise, keeping an eye on them until she couldn't. One foot hit the floorboard of the patrol car as she let out an exhilarated whoop, hair flying in her face as she sank down into the seat and quickly slammed the door shut, just ini time for the patrol unit to go up on to wheels.
"So where are we headed, little mermaid?" She asked, catching sight of Kevin coming upright in the back now that he wasn't thudding against the seats like a fish out of water. She chuckled and winked at him from over her shoulder.
"Remember this the next time someone tells you to live a little."
