He wasn't protesting not using his powers? That was good, if a little unexpected. From what she understood from some of the other supers, that was pretty rare. Geata himself explained how he had used it like a muscle, how he had learned about it doing something simple like reaching for something. She hoped he would be able to keep up without it. If she could have access to his thoughts, she would have agreed with him; as it was, Canary was already on the move, darting through the hall towards the stairs with a device at the ready. A small glimmer of metal flashed in her hand, but nothing was thrown. There was still time for things to go right.
"Mmm, plans change." She liked plans, she really did. she hadn't liked winging it with Limen as she had a few times in the past, but Canary was beginning to understand that sometimes it was more necessary than she cared to think about. And that was without dealing with other people and their powers.
"We block their access to the film storage. We'll have to either watch it there or take it with us."

Geata nodded to himself as Canary started to move before following suit. Before, he wouldn't have been able to get very far past the stairs without getting winded, but as it stood, his physical training with a certain large, imposing super had done wonders for his stamina. That, paired with his small physique, made the next few events possible.
Once downstairs, it was clear that the few guards had been preparing for their arrival. Geata grinned under his mask as he ran towards the guard closest to him and slid underneath, action movie style. He quickly picked himself up, still letting momentum carry him forward as he started running again, and took stock of the environment.
There were five guards in the hall, fairly spaced out, including the one he just made it past. He didn't know which door led to what, so his only chance was to follow Canary. He glanced at her, watching where she went, and was thankful that she was still ahead of him. It didn't seem the guards would be too hard to get around, either. It seemed things were going to go right, surprisingly. He prepared himself for things to suddenly go wrong as he ran forward, watching for Canary to suddenly turn.

He was good on his word, which made things easier for Canary as she hurtled herself down the stairs and directly at the guards like a human projectile. The last thing she needed was to find herself somersaulting into a portal and ending up somewhere else on the other side - which is, quite literally, what she did. The brightly colored brunette slapped down another web-style device as she rolled past, the contact pressure still fairly light. No point in trapping portal man, either. Either he'd find a way out, or she'd have an enemy she wasn't prepared for yet.
The moment he slid through, one of the guards stepped back to try and stop Geata, and his foot landed squarely on the device. Canary would have winced as he fell backward, but now she had to make sure both of them made it out while the guards struggled. Of the two, only one had, so that left her running towards a random door and ducking behind it as she was being chased after the following guard.
Who proceeded to get a face full of said door. She reached for another device and fumbled it, mentally cursing the moment needed to take control of situation. It looked like she was going to have a little dance with the guard if the two were on their own.

Geata would've helped Canary, had he had time to notice she was in trouble. Instead, his little theatric stunt managed to catch the attention of the other guards, and that left him with his hands full. Judging by their actions, though, he guessed they weren't terribly coordinated. One tried to swing at him, while another tried to grab onto him. He blinked before ducking down to avoid both attacks, before leaping in between them, getting past them and starting to run again. He couldn't stand a chance in a straight fight against them both, so he needed an advantage. He dived into the first open doorway and quickly took cover.
They both couldn't fit through at the same time, so the puncher tried to enter first. He was met with a full force kick to the knee before Geata dodged past them again. Hit and run tactics were his specialty, after all, and he was confident that he could win a fight as long as opportunities presented themselves in the same manner. That was why, instead of running past the surprised second guard, he swung his elbow into his abdomen, throwing his full momentum into the blow. The man dropped to his knees, the wind knocked out of him, and Geata spun around once he was in the middle of the hallway.
He was smirking underneath his mask the whole time.
