Bloodbath was forced to let go as a rumbling echoed above him, flinging himself backward and catching himself on his bloodstream, rolling to his feet as soon as he was certain he was safe.
He took in his stolen blood, sighing in relief as the pulsing in his head faded as he regained a portion of lost blood.
There...you'll win...so long you don't screw it up!
His hands trembled as the voices rose in volume, nearly reaching for his gloves in his moment of fear. "We-we-we will win!" He spat, arching his blood drenched nails like claws, I-I'll make s-s-sure of it!"

Limen was not, in fact, faster than a lion. No sooner than she’d thrown the paint bombs did she feel the three to four hundred pounds of sheer lion slam into her shoulders. A second later the floor joined in on the fun, and Limen found herself sandwiched between the two.
She was immediately glad that this was Big Martin’s lion and she liked to consider herself on friendly terms with the fellow, as apparently did he, otherwise she might be a lot worse off than a little squished. Granted the chances of running into a more standard lion in a college bookstore were rather low.
The face behind the lion’s voice was menacing enough so that it could’ve sounded like Mickey Mouse and most people would be inclined to take it seriously, but the low growl certainly helped the effect. Limen looked fear in the eye and gave it a toothy grin.
“Big Martin and Brobdingnagian Lion, I like you guys so I’m going to give you a warning.” Limen said cheerfully through her teeth. “Get off me or I’m going to shock you.”

"HOLY SH-HRG"
Sanduleak fell to the side as a lion flew past him, holy hell when the hell did Big Martin get a big fucking lion. He lied on the ground though as he felt something worm it's way into his system. Oh hell no he was not getting sick again, not after what happened last time. Part of his visor faded away to light, so he could let loose a small stream of vomit, partially digested waffles lying in the puddle...there was only one person in the room who had a resemblance to the power that just affected him and with a cold glare, Sanduleak stood back up and pointed at the Plague Doctor.
"I am the one person, you really shouldn't have done that too...you idiotic bulwark piece of garbage."
Pain was one thing but reminding him of THAT time with the Dragon, and his fury quickly became deadly.

Ahh, there it was. Typical Sanduleak maneuver. It didn't surprise Arcanum to see that Rudolph the Red-Nosed Panda stuck to his usual method of being annoying. As far as she remembered, he'd used that light show distraction practically every time they met. One would suspect that after the third loss, the guy would come up with a different strategy that might actually work, but he was a member of Pandaemonium. The majority of those dropouts weren't exactly known for their intelligence or long term planning.
"Wow." Sunny thought up an entire joke about flashing and inappropriate behavior, but now really wasn't the time to share with the class. Not when she could appreciate watching Sandman throw up everywhere. For the first time in a while, she felt grateful that she didn't have a stomach anymore. That's what the doctor guy's powers were capable of? "Gotta remember to call you up next time I'm dealing with this asshole."
Meanwhile, Chariot was paying more attention to the other side of the battlefield, where giant cats reigned supreme. Something Limen tried earlier gave her an idea on how to handle the rest of these guys. Hopefully, the building could survive a little more damage. . .

Sanduleak kept hopping back a few feet during the fight, his power didn't require him to be close and he intended to use that to his advantage as much as he could by keeping his bloody distance, especially when the multitude of paint bombs were being used. Quickly he flashed into existence a pair of revolvers and kept them in hand, ready in case any of the bomb throwing trio decided to hit him.
"This is bloody insane...heh bloody."
He let out a quiet snicker at his pun, kind of praying that Bloodbath had not heard him.

Bloodbath had just thrown his blood knife when a powerful wrenching in his stomach suddenly erupted, an unconscious trembling in his legs sending him onto all fours, coughing uncontrollably. What was this!? This wasn't supposed to happen, this didn't happen! Even when he used too much blood!
He blinked at the doctor, and it became clear. He was doing this to him! However, he didn't get a chance to strike before his body decided it had enough, squeezing everything out. Not that there was much to throw out except some ruddy spittle. Still, it hurt, burning it's way through his throat and chest.
"Ow....oooww..." He whimpered, rubbing his mouth with the back of his sleeve before almost glaring at the doctor, "W-why would you do that!?" It almost sounded like whining but the whipping blood above him pointed to a very dangerous individual.

The lion huffed in amusement at Limen's threats. "You? Hurt me? I am the king of beasts, lord of the plains! Puny prey like you could never hope to-"
Yeaaaaaah, you might want to do as she says.
The lion's eyes narrowed. "What? Me, flee from a feeble human? Inconceivable!"
Um... it wouldn't be fleeing, exactly? That's right. The girl is not a threat! I need your mighty strength elsewhere, so go jump on, let's say, the guy who looks like a bird, okay?
The great beast growled, but it took its paws off Limen, letting her move freely. "Be thankful that my master does not consider you worthy of my attention." With that, it bounded towards the Plague Doctor, only to see him tackled off his feet by the super it had just released. Roaring with rage, the lion gave chase!
However, for now it was but a distraction- the true threat came from the growing numbers of small cats still flooding quietly into the bookstore. Having had a moment to recover, they'd begun coordinating again- but who or what would Big Martin direct them against?

Under the weight of the cat, Limen was unable to dodge Bloodbath’s knife. The blade bore into the shoulder of her left arm, coming uncomfortably close to the remains of the two similar wounds she’d earned earlier in the week and eliciting a suppressed yell of pain from Limen. The sheer number of knives in the arms she was getting in recent days was astounding.
Not that she hadn’t been asking for it. She had gone and challenged Bloodbath, Dukes, and Cat Lord to a battle, so she kinda had to expect to get a little knifed or lion’d. Thankfully, the lion took her warning and its paws off of her.
“Yeah, my thanks, Cat Lord.” She said with a wink and a promised lack of electricity. And so, as also promised, she was able to properly tackle the new guy with a cool hat to the ground. To avoid the lion, of course.
Limen rolled off of Cool Hat Guy and after hopping to her feet, offered a hand to help him up. As she had predicted from the beginning of the battle, he appeared to have upset both Sanduleak and Bloodbath. Never underestimate a hero’s abilities to piss of every villain in the vicinity.
She cast a nervous glance at the bloodstream before looking the source in the eye. “Oi, Bloodbath, and you too, Sanduleak, let’s not go seriously harming anyone, yeah? We’re here to liven things up, not to put anyone in the hospital. Well, Hat Guy here might be, but he’s one against, well, a lot of us if you count all the cats. He’s outmatched and knows it.” She bumped him with her elbow. “Right?”

Sunny and Cherry had mixed feelings about all of this. It was difficult to judge how well they were performing. On one hand, they hadn't really been able to accomplish much. On the other, the only reason they kept missing was because of Sanduleak's obsessive need to fuck with them. He probably didn't even know who the were! Analyzing how they had managed to annoy him to this level might lead to discovering some hidden taunting ability. Maybe Arcanum had more powers than she knew about, aside from being a freakishly heavy ball of slime.
More data should make any future analysis easier. Time to be annoying again.

Sanduleak rubbed his head as he felt the after effects of the fight, he was running a bit low on light so feeling light headed was to be expected...plus he had thrown up which a freaking certain Bulwark thought was a fair maneuver. Just tried to do one thing by himself and suddenly armies show up to stop him like he's public enemy number one, ya know what screw it.
"Destroy the place, giving them out would take way too much effort and currently I wanna just go and sleep."
With a flick of the wrist and flash of his eyes, his clones went from two to twenty and went about wrecking the store, though he knew he wouldn't be able to compare to a certain catomancer.

Bloodbath looked up just in time to receive a slime ball. His bloodstream leapt up to defend himself and blocked the bulk of it, but a yelp of disgust escaped his lips as it clung to his hair and face.
He raised his hands to claw it off, clearing the obstruction in time to see Sanduleak destroying the books. "O-oh...this is w-what we're doing?" The question seemed mostly for himself as right after he raised his hands and craned his blood upward before letting it fall in punishing sweeps of the store.
A ragged smile formed and small giggles shook his body as he finished the deed, this was actually pretty fun, Pandemonium was great!

Sanduleak didn't need to ask twice. Only Big Martin's orders had kept the cats from gleefully tearing apart the whole store, and now, with the opposition dealt with and their leader confirming they were free to rampage, they let loose with all their wild feline fury. Shelves toppled as waves of cats crashed into them, spilling books all over the floor where they could be shredded by eager teeth and claws. Within seconds, the air was filled with flying pieces of paper, and cats leaping up to try and snatch them out of the air. The math books in particular took a beating, every page being torn out and crumpled and slashed, the spines and covers bitten and broken and even peed upon until nothing remained of the endless equations that had plagued so many students but a stinking mutilated mess.
This went on for a good couple minutes, before Big Martin decided they'd done enough. The police would be arriving soon, and he didn't want to get into another fight just after winning the first. Well done, everyone, our objective is destroyed. I think we can leave the scene now. Withdraw!
In unison, the cats turned and fled, bounding out the ruined storefront and rushing away from the scene of the crime in all directions. Behind them, the shop lay in tatters. Some of the books were still intact, but the main targets- those expensive textbooks -were ruined beyond repair. The whole university would remember this day for a good while to come!
