In the days following the dragon attack, various parts of the city had begun reconstruction. Various trucks and cranes had been moved into the areas of downtown destroyed by the dragon’s cannon with plans to start tomorrow. During the day, workers were to go about clearing out the fallen buildings and bringing in supplies for the ones that would take their place. When night fell, however, plans had been made to give the workers a bit of a hand.
This was the second night Blue Jay had come out with Titan to the ruined areas of downtown. The previous one he had focused on finding and retrieving the bodies of those who hadn’t made it out of the crushed buildings in time. Going deep into the structurally unsound buildings was not nearly as much of a danger for someone who could take a little rubble to the back and could either teleport or blast his way out of being buried as it would be for the rescuers who would soon come to do the same. He’d laid them neatly and respectfully out for the police to identify and properly put to rest.
Tonight, his goal was to make cleaning up the rubble easier on those who would be doing it tomorrow.
Blue Jay’s powers were not at all suited for helping with things like this. He was stronger than a normal person, yes, but not enough so to lift hunks of concrete his size and five times his weight. He could teleport, but also not with hunks of concrete five times his weight. His abilities were meant for causing fast and large scale damage. They were not meant for cleaning up the resulting messes. But damn it, he was going to try.
He used small and precise shock waves to break apart large chunks of rubble into more manageable sizes, so trucks might be able to come through later and pick them up. He himself would not be driving any such vehicle, even if other supers got their hands on some. Blue Jay was not trusted with heavy machinery.
He’d been working his way through the remains of a skyscraper, chopping up the large metal beams that hung dangerously over the street into smaller, moveable pieces that wouldn’t be falling on the worker’s heads in the morning. About a third of the building now lay safely and neat-ishly on the ground. He hoped to have the entire thing prepared for removal by morning.
---
SCHEME: Show the Bulwark isn’t only good at causing structural damage and aid in the reconstruction of downtown. (Since Pandaemonium seems to have the docks already covered)

Everything was a mess. While it was easy to consider all of that damage an afterthought when fighting something could very well destroy the entire city, it was impossible to ignore it now. It was quite a horrific scene. Thousands of people not only lost their lives, but just as many lost their homes in the destruction. While efforts were made to clear everything, the carnage was so extensive that it would be near impossible to get everything done by themselves. As much as their machinery was useful, it just wasn't up to scratch.
Thankfully, two Bulwarks, out of the goodness of their hearts, had decided to help the normal people out. It was Blue Jay's idea, but Titan was down for it the moment he told him about the plan. Since they had all of these abilities, it would just be pure insanity if they didn't decide to use them for things other than punching each other. It was still quite risky, since the buildings they were in were generally unsound, but they weren't in any grave danger at the moment.
While Blue Jay had to get creative with his powers, it was a relatively simple task for the 10 foot giant. Grab this thing, pull it out, bring it over there. Rinse and repeat. As Titan lay down a long piece of a steel support, Titan looked over the rest of the city. Looks like they had their work cut out for them.

Supporting: Its a thankless job.

They were not the only Bulwark trying to help rebuild in the wake of the Dragon attack. Purity, who had a power suited for this sort of task had gotten right to work on the rebuilding process. Though he was focused on first response units. Police cars, ambulances, hospitals, fire stations, and the like. Moving through the rubble as tendrils of light encompassed key pieces of wreckage, forcing the clock to rewind on those items to return them to their state before the Dragon attack.
But there was a lot to do, far to much to do than could be done in a single day. But he was in it for the long haul. They couldn't stop the Dragon from destroying these peoples homes and lives, but they sure as heck could help them to rebuild. It was what the Bulwark was all about. It was the whole reason he had even decided to become a Super Hero. The job didn't need to be glamorous, it just needed to help people.
Supporting It must be done.

Giza’s still a little upset about the whole situation after the dragon’s fight. He knew Blue Jay would eventually find his stupid way to Miss Aurora, but to be shoo off by her and saw how calmly their interaction was just upsetting. The dock was a mess after what the dragon did, so most of the Pandaemoniums are rebuilding their horde after the devastation. Giza, however, still feel upset from that night, decided to let off some steam in the downtown area. It was at least a blessing that the ruin in downtown were empty of any annoying civilians, otherwise Giza might have to resolve his frustration at the dump. Using the debris all around him, he decided to practice his power from prying eyes, turning the rubble into sculptures and then using them as target practice. Most of his sculptures are in the form of Blue Jay, so he can at least let out his annoyance at the guy with his cards by decapitating their head. After about thirty minutes of throwing a tantrum, Giza slowly regains his calmness back. He sat down and began to contemplate about what he should do if another dragon’s threat arrived to the city. His thought was soon interrupted when he heard a sound of metal closed by; curious of whom it could be out here this time of night, Giza quietly went toward the noise to investigate. As he arrived at the scene, his frustration started to return when he saw Blue Jan and two other Bulwarks using their power to clean up the mess that the dragon made. It wasn’t that he doesn’t like the idea of cleaning up the place; God know the area needs some cleaning after something like that. Rather, he feels frustrating when he saw Blue Jay cleaning up the mess. He had heard some stupid rumors running around, and none of them are what he likes to hear. He knows he shouldn’t make such a big deal out of this, but his frustration only get the better of him: “Hey, Birdy Boy,” he jumped on a pile of rubble close by and pointed to Blue Jay, “Don’t think that I’ve forgotten about your stupid attempt on being on Miss Aurora’s good side. You have a lot of explaining to you.” OPPOSING: because God-damn-it Blue Jay why do you always trying to get close to Miss Aurora all the bloody time?!

"Un, deux, trois, quatre... et chacun d'eux vachement beau. Chouette alors!"
What was there not to love? A dark-haired cutie with a nice sword in a romantic clash with a suave and dextrous magician, a massive muscular hunk of a man lifting heavy weights, and Purity, the handsome hero who'd made some wonderful choices when it came to clothing (or lack thereof). Quirky personalities, a nice variety of body types- it was a harem just waiting to happen!
Leaning against the wall, hidden in deep shadow, the sin of Lust giggled to herself, her body already tensing with anticipation. She would definitely not be missing this.
Opposing: Builders are hot!

The task was certainly tedious and monotonous, but it was necessary, and a little boredom was worth helping out the people of this city. It was the very least they could do to help out in the aftermath. Titan's only wish was that they had brought along someone with powers more suitable for the task, since the two Bulwarks' abilities didn't exactly work too well when it came to work that required just a little bit more...constructiveness. But considering they were the only two members that really knew each other well enough to do something like this together, they didn't have much of a choice. It was when he was putting down another large chunk of concrete did he notice another Bulwark in the distance, doing his own thing. Purity. He remembered him fondly during the dragon attack. He not only helped Titan restrain the beast's tail, but got him back into fighting shape after he was severely wounded. Well, as much into fighting shape as he could, what with the arm.
Not quite sure if the borderline angelic super could see him, Titan shot Purity a thumbs up as thanks for his efforts both in the battle and in the aftermath. He wasn't quite sure if he would see them, but it was a worthwhile gesture anyway. He needed to pay the guy back somehow. It was at that point that their plan went a little haywire. Some Pandaemonium guy Titan vaguely remembered, Caesar or something that sounded close to it, suddenly appeared, as if by magic. By the look of things, he seemed to hold a grudge because of Blue Jay's closeness with....Aurora?
Turning to his smaller companion, Titan cast Blue Jay a confused glance. Was there something going on between the two? The Pandaemonium guy wouldn't have been so angry if it didn't have something to do with a thing like that. Anyways, it looked like a fight was going on, and Titan prepared himself for whatever this Caesar would throw at them.

A voice, loud and somewhat familiar yelling something about a bird made Blue Jay look up from the beam he’d been hacking through. Names seemed to mean very little to a lot of supers, and so had begun to assume just about anything vaguely name-sounding related to swords or avifauna was referring to him. He’d heard better than “Birdy Boy”, but he’d also heard worse.
The person referring to him was a Pandaemonium that Blue Jay knew mostly by reputation rather than personal experience. Even then, his knowledge of the fellow totaled at about his name and a bit about his powers. He spoke his first thought aloud. “Huh? Giza, what’re you doing here?” He got to his feet from where he had been crouching, trying to get through the last of this beam, and, turning to face the super, balanced on the beam twisted to stick out at an odd but thankfully mostly horizontal angle.
Weren’t the Pandaemoniums working on fixing the docks? The dragon’s cannons had done as large a number on that part of the city as they had downtown, but from what he’d heard, the red faction had been spearheading the cleaning efforts. He thought that it was an ‘all hands on deck’ situation with the group.
“And what about Aurora?” He asked, genuinely confused.

Giza feels insulted that Blue Jay didn’t answer his question; he had heard many rumors and stories on some eyewitness seeing both Blue Jay and Aurora near each other almost all over the city. He doubts it was anything weird since all the eyewitness said they’re just talked to each other. Not in a flirtatious way, but simply arguing between each other about all kind of random thing in their mind that day. That wasn’t the reason why he was mad at Blue Jay; he doubt Miss Aurora have even a tiny hint of interested in the idiot Bulwark.
No, the reason why he’s so mad at the guy was because he’s hogging all Miss Aurora’s attention toward him. Birdy Boy here interacted with Miss Aurora even more than a dog hanging around its owner, with Birdy Boy be the meddling dog in the situation. Giza can see the Green Giant nearby, readying for a fight as soon as he saw Giza on the rubble.
“Don’t play dumb on me, Birdy Boy,” Giza pointed at Blue Jay, “No one is allowed to get close to Miss Aurora except for me. You understand? So why don’t you pack up your spandex suit up and go play hero somewhere else, and stay away from her?!”
Even though the ceramic mask on his face show a smile, Giza clenched his teeth in rage underneath. To prove that he mean business, he’s ready to challenge the so-call heroes of the city even if he’s out-numbered or have no possible chance of winning. But this is a fight for Miss Aurora’s affection, and he’ll be damn if he let this snot-nose bird-brain here make a fool out of him.

He had caught sight of Titan's gesture and returned it with a smile and wave of his own. The light from Purity's body rewinding several flipped police cars and righting them back to their correct position, and working order. They would need the authorities help in the coming days. Looters and the like were prone to take advantage. And there would still be many people who needed help. Who could tell what lingering effects a Dragon could have? It was best to be prepared.
And thankfully he wasn't alone in that. With the other two Bulwark nearby he'd start off in that direction. He wasn't used to working alone, and he was confident that they'd achieve much more as a unit. The sudden appearance and commotion of one of the Pandaemonium Supers was troubling however... He'd hoped that everyone would be on the same side with this. Rebuilding the city and returning life to normal. But it seemed that some grudges would not be sated even among the destruction and ruin before them.
"I would advise you to not start any trouble here today." His lecturing tone directed squarely at Giza. He wasn't mad though, just... Disappointed.

A laugh rang out, high and joyful, drifting like music through the cool night air. A sweet sound, licking at the ears of all who heard it and filling their minds and bodies with soft, warm pleasure. What need was there to think, when such a laugh existed? It was tantalizing, persuasive, inviting all those who heard it to simply let themselves go, and enjoy the beautiful sensations carried by the voice of Lust.
Without so much as a word, she was already in their heads. Even Giza would be feeling it. The desire, the flood of chemicals within the body, the suppression of reason and the rise of emotion.
A silhouette danced over the rubble, perfectly graceful, every wild movement of limb and body inviting the eyes to stare. Long waves of hair swished back and forth, accentuating the dark lines of that nimble and flexible form. Who was it, that had said that beauty was in the eye of the beholder? Whoever they were, they'd been wrong. Beauty was here, emerging into view so that she could get a better look at all the cute young men who were squaring off.
"Hello, boys."
The first word was drawn out, as Lust savored the moment, her wide eyes drifting over all the nicest parts of the gathered supers. So many nice playthings... Which one would she choose first?

Balance raised an eyebrow as Lust began dancing with the enemy. What a strange way to capture some one. Than again capture was not her best tool. With a sigh she stepped out of the way as the duo passed by. She would let Lust enjoy her play thing for a few moments. Which meant his lesson would be postponed. For now. Her eyes wandered, landing on Giza and Blue Jay. The smiling fool seemed fixated on the smaller man. Were they really having an argument over some woman? Now of all times? And she thought the strange approach Lust took with her target was unfortunate.
As shrapnel hurled towards Blue Jay, the woman's head turned towards her final opponent. Wind blew her hair around as she scanned him. Large, under dressed as evident by underwear-esque shorts and barefoot. It confused her as to why he chose to be barefooted. With the rubble one would think that would cause more harm then good. No matter, if he wished to injure himself by refusing to dress properly that was not her problem. She wanted to know something before she began her assault.
"Tell me, do you really think causing more destruction is helping the civilians?"

It was only because of the wall Purity formed between him and Giza that Blue Jay was able to teleport out of there before getting hit. The fastest bits of shrapnel got caught in the wall - any others that made it past flew through nothing but air as he vanished from where he stood and appeared a number of meters to the left of Giza. His stance was wide and he held the blade defensively, almost horizontal in front of his chest.
“Is now really a good time to do this?” He called. “Aren’t you guys supposed to be fixing the docks area?”
Why Giza was here instead of with his faction was a mystery to him, and why he was bringing Aurora randomly into this more so. The same applied to his teammates. He didn’t want to get in a fight, but if it was unavoidable there was little he could do.

While Titan would have rushed to defend Blue Jay from the hail of stony shards that Caesar spitefully sent his way, Purity already had things covered, as he he summoned a means of defending his fellow Bulwark. This guy seemed like the archetypical Pandaemonium; impulsive and blindly willing to ignore the wellbeing of others in pursuit of their own personal agenda. Sure, it didn't apply to all of them, but Caesar was certainly not helping their case. No matter, the fight was on.
Unfortunately, it appeared that two other opponents had appeared on the scene. The first, a scantily clad woman that had...quite a presence, had suddenly pounced on Purity, embracing him. It had strange effects on the other Bulwark, but Titan was distracted by the arrival of another super who he assumed was Pandaemonium. It was another woman, and this one brandished a sword, much like Blue Jay. Titan sighed in exasperation. They were just trying to help out the city, was it that hard to understand?
