Nemesis blinked.
She had no idea what this robot was or where it had come from, but apparently he was on her side. Considering how the villains in this town far outnumbered the heroes this was probably still a bad guy. Lucky for him, 'probably' is not a good enough reason for her eye-patch to allow her to harm him. So until he actually did something evil, it would be easier to let that one go for now.
Robot Man was taking care of the slightly less metallic guy, which meant she could focus on the others. While she wanted to get rid of the gang members, dealing with the supers in her way first would make things easier. Nemesis easily made it into the building, seeing how the guards were already taken care of. Now where did everyone run off to?

Good to know he hadn't completely lost his edge. If that had been the case, Valkyrie would really have to wonder what sort of people dwelled in cities and let themselves go soft. But the roiling fury in Gilgamesh's tone also meant she had his attention. Good. Let's see what he did when his goal was threatened.
The staff was able to strike true, knocking the blonde off of her feet as she threw her own weapons at him. It was like the old days, the familiar thrum of momentum, the sound of his anger, her refusal to back down. The sting of wood against flesh, of knowing she wasn't as strong as others who started with them. And yet, here she was ahead of the majority.
What was different this time lay in the opposition. Neither of them were alone, and both knew how to handle crowds, but apparently the robot no longer had its hands full with the metal man. She felt the blow as she rose to her feet, and though neither had knocked her unconscious, they still had an effect. She rose more cautiously a second time, looking between the two males before spitting blood to the ground between them.
“Better hurry, then. You're almost out of time.” If he wanted to keep her from beating him to the punch, if he wanted revenge without someone coming to save a mob boss, he'd have to give up focusing on her sooner rather than later.

HaLOS was truly disappointed when Khan propelled himself out of its trajectory, causing the metal fist to target one of the unpowered guard and shatter his ribcage entirely. Looking at the metal arm, HaLOS can detect some of his blood coated the fist, and that unpowered guard is no longer have any vital sign. With so much force going after that punch, it would be weird if a normal unpowered person survived through that. It then turned its attention to Gilgamesh and Khan, who managed to mow down the guards that decided to show up. The other two females are busy with taunting the opponent while making such a mess for Limen to unable to take a shot anywhere in the cluster-fuckery in this hallway.
At the very least, HaLOS is buying Giovanni some time to get himself out of the damn meeting room to a secure location, hopefully somewhere that none of these intruders know the location to. So for now, HaLOS need to keep Gilgamesh and Khan busy until then; hopefully those armed guards finally realized to stay out of its path, or they’ll end up like that guy from earlier with a gaping hole on his ribcage.

One of the blades that she had managed to get out before he'd tripped her up whizzed past his face. Slicing open his cheek with ease, it's razor sharp edge and the force that she was able to throw it was more than enough to break through his Qi infused skin. But it was a glancing blow at worst.
"For once you're right."
He'd slam the staff down for her head to take her out of the fight. At least for a moment. He just needed to get there first. It was more of a race than a fight, with this many supers around. Because if this dragged on he was going to slip through his fingers, or worse. Get killed by someone else. That was unacceptable. He'd burst into the building.

Last Limen checked, returning arrows were not part of her repertoire. Perhaps it was time she checked again. It was only because she’d been watching that she spotted the shadow of the arrow flying towards her. She ducked - the arrow whizzed past her ear and buried itself in the AC unit behind her. She would’ve whistled was she not being sneaky; impressive, that shot.
When she turned back to the field, everyone had moved around again. The mental notes of where everyone was and what they were doing were terribly outdated and of no further use. Limen sighed and released the draw of her bow. She’d have to start from almost square one.
One particular person caught her eye. Val was here, it seemed, and engaged in battle with Gil. Because of course she was. Limen hoped Val knew what she was doing, attempting to stop Gil tonight. She would bet the money she didn’t have that Val did not.

Khan moved himself away from HaLOS' path, a satisfactory addition to the smack of his fist against Val's face. It landed flush, but she still seemed to be much more interested in Gil. Clearly the two had a relationship of Some sort.
She was right though, they were running out of time. One way or another, they had to move this along and finish up quickly here.

Things were all a blur to Valkyrie as she raced ahead, leaving the masked man int eh dust, quite literally, as he propelled himself against a wall. Her feet felt like they were barely touching the ground, then not at all as she embraced a surge of adrenaline. A catlike grin touched her face, eyes bright with a sense of wicked delight and the sweet, smug rush of victory.
The others were not forgotten, but their weight in the matter and hand faded as the blonde ducked past guards and bolted around corners. What the inside of Giovanni's manner looked like, she couldn't say. Little would be recalled of it later, other than rushes of color and strategic layouts. Perhaps it was the knowledge of what she was about to do, or perhaps it was the odd sensation that came over her body all of a sudden. There was something deeply unsettling about it, a silent scream coming from the marrow of her bones as Valkyrie realized something was wrong. She wasn't hurt, wasn't hindered at all, but the sense of wrongness permeated her entire being as her body was healed.
The burst of willpower pushed her forward even faster, a flash of dark fabric mere inches from her as Valkyrie pushed against the sensation that felt wrong, wanting it out of her body before it would regret its action. Was it a last minute attempt to slow her and let Gilgamesh win? The man with the metal arm, perhaps, or something else entirely?
She broke clear of her competition, shoving guards aside and leaping over a body or two as she ran. This was it, the moment where they would all learn how much Gilgamesh truly wanted the man dead. After all, if he could trounce her while half dead himself, this should be easy for him. If not, well, what did that say about the warrior king in the end?
The world went from sonic levels of speed to slow motion, a sense of vertigo that seemed to coat everything around her as Valkyrie took a left and sprinted down another hall, breaking into the room where the man who was destined to die awaited. Metal gleamed in the moonlight as Valkyrie let her momentum carry her forward, over the desk and towards her target. There was a gurgling sound blood, an angry shout turned to muffled, pitiful sounds before going silent as crimson spread across the pretty wood floors. Valkyrie herself sported a satisfied smile as she tipped the man off of his perch and onto the floor where he belonged. The dark fabric of his shirt absorbed his blood as she wiped her blade on his clothes and tucked it away.
This one wasn't worthy.

Going with option #2!

The good news: HaLOS managed to neutralize Gilgamesh in his attempt to kill Giovanni along with his companion. The bad news: it seems that one of the female was also going after Giovanni too. As soon as both Gilgamesh and Khan were neutralized, one of the female continued running through the hallway toward the room where Giovanni is resided. Despite its effort of running after the white-hair female, she was proven to be much too fast for it to go after her. So as soon as HaLOS finally made it to the room, she’d already finished with her dirty work splattering the room with blood.
“Such unfortunate circumstance,” HaLOS scanned the room to actually conclude Giovanni’s death before turning toward the female, “this unit was suppose to keep him safe.”
HaLOS concluded that its primary mission had failed, so there’s no point of lingering around here anymore. There isn’t much point of capturing her since the deed had been done, so HaLOS decided to leave her for now until the Keeper decided to order it to apprehend her. It then turned to her before it leaves the room:
“Citizens of Emerald City will not leave this alone; Giovanni’s death would cause a chain-reaction that won’t end well to the super community. Be warned, this unit predict an upcoming storm is approaching.”
