He'd put this off to long already, it was one of the reasons he had even wanted to return back to this stupid city. A chance to repay someone for deeds done long ago. A step forward in the world to finish killing that scared little boy from so long ago. A boogie man that lurked in the darkest parts of his heart. It never mattered how much strength he acquired, not while this person still had any kind of hold over him. And he'd sever that tie tonight. Nothing would stand in his way.
The years had been kind to Giovanni, no longer was he a thug taking orders from the top, but rather years of networking and favor trading had apparently given him the leverage to stage a coup inside the Syndicate one of the most powerful criminal groups in Emerald City. Sure, they were no match for the Supers of Pandaemonium. But they did a different type of crime, they were more traditional mobsters than the gun toting spray painting hooligans that made up Gilgamesh's current little family.
He'd given a lot of thought about how he wanted to handle this. And he wanted him to know that death was coming. He wanted Giovanni to feel fear, to tremble, and to hurt. He didn't want him to be smothered in his sleep. More than that he wanted to send a message to his men. He was going to take the power that this man had held over his heart ever since he stole his childhood away and he was going to use that pent up hatred and shatter make it clear to anyone in the syndicate that thought to take his place what would happen.
Word on the street was that certain members of law enforcement that were on the payroll were coming by to renegotiate their price after the major destruction of the city and the increased activity of Supers and people like him. With police there and his own armed goons it was a time that he was safe, confident. Assured that no one would dare do anything to upset the power balance in the city, or to move against him. Tonight was a night that he surely felt untouchable and that's why it was the perfect night to assassinate him.
Objective - Assassinate the Syndicate Boss Giovanni and any enforcers and law enforcement on his payroll present to send a message to the Syndicate and those like them. And to move forward in life, letting the past lay to rest.

The dojo had been oddly quiet that night. Not the sleeping, semi-absent silence that came when her rival went out and about, but still, as if the air were holding its breath. With neither of her current roommates about, Valkyrie had taken advantage of the time alone. But now she needed something else to do, and she knew exactly what would spice up the night.
Rumor had it the cops, specific ones, were on call tonight for a mob boss. Like that wasn't a giant red flag being slammed into your brain. Restlessness and curiosity combined to leave the blonde with a sense of cabin fever, a feeling that only increased as she went out into the city. Trees were replaced with towers of glass and metal, oppressive and self-centered at the same time. A city that had been ravaged by a dragon, but still stood stubborn and proud, shouting, “Here I am. Look at me!”
She walked the area outside the range of police and thugs, noting what areas were least guarded, and how many guards were scattered or grouped along the way. They were not her concern, though they were likely going to become an obstacle. Let them. They were insignificant if you could properly dispose of them, she knew.
No, instead she was focused on a hooded figure, and any companions he may have picked up along the way. It was time to see if the little boy who fought to prove he was better had grown into a man worthy of his own title. She figured some hero or something would come in and try to keep murder and mayhem from happening. Let them be the target, then. She had better things to do.
OPPOSE: It's time to see if Gilgamesh is really as ready as he thinks. Besides, things have been slow ever since she got here. It's time to shake things up.

Apparently Gil had some people to kill. While not unusual Gil activity, apparently these people were particularly hot targets. Police and mob bosses? A chance to screw with both, while shooting explosive arrows where she felt like? Limen wasn’t about to miss that excitement.
And so Limen was gone from her normal activity of sleep and back in the night city she used to haunt. She knew this area fairly well - all the good spots were people wouldn’t yell at you for crashing for a couple hours, what buildings you could poke full of holes without someone yelling at you for property damage, and what streets to avoid to keep police from yelling at you and attempting to fill you full of holes. She crouched nearby Gil, surveying the area, pinpointing the people below and what targets would likely be hers to take out. Namely, the ones that held the delusional notion they were a better sniper than her. She was going to leave most of the interesting targets to Gil. Something (besides the fact that she normally acted as back up more than anything else) told her that this was probably the best course of action. Maybe it was the aura of death she felt radiating off him.
“I’ll get the ones up on that roof over there, and that guy in the window two blocks west. He probably thinks he’s so sneaky.” Limen whispered. “Shout something really random if you need my help. But, uh, I’m going to be kinda concerned if these guys give you any trouble.”

After their little display at the Police Department the police had been staying out of his business. Apparently, some of them were busy conducting business of their own with the mob. Police, mobsters, they were both the same. Small men who believed themselves more powerful than those around them.
But they weren't. That belonged to the new gods of the world. The Supers.
Khan waits alongside Gil, crossing his arms as he surveys the scene carefully. It didn't seem like a dangerous set up but always better safe than sorry.
Support: Goals are alligned, plus he owes Gil one. Their relationship is give and take.

“Searching data on subject: Giovanni.”
HaLOS searched the web on what it could find out about this man when the Keeper gave it a mission to guard the man. Usually a Keeper never get themselves involve in such tedious matter unless their target have some use to them in the future.
“Data found: Giovanni, current head boss of the Syndicate organization. Real name: unknown, born in Rome around 1958, immigrated to America at ages 12. Joining the Syndicate since he turned 18, and had been raising his influential power ever since. Finally gain the infamous title of Don Giovanni at age 30, and become one of the most dangerous mob bosses in Emerald City.”
With the information, it is clear as to why the higher up in the Keeper would like to keep this piece of trash safe. Giovanni is in control of the most dangerous mob in the city, and if the Keeper could gain control over the criminal underworld network, they could use that in their favor. Either that or the Keeper might have own the guy a huge favor, and the Keeper must always repay their debt in any way they can.
Clearly being the most infamous mob boss also mean you’re the target for numerous assassination attempts. Why else would the Keeper decided to get involve other than fearing that a super might try his luck on the guy? And rumors have it that he might be having a sit-down with some law-enforcer somewhere in downtown to negotiate something. In order to keep a close eye on Giovanni, HaLOS hacked into the security network in wherever the meeting took place in Downtown. Scanning the area for anyone who doesn’t seems like they belong there, HaLOS noticed four possible intruders around the area.
It recognized three of the four: the hooded Pandaemonium and the motorcycle bow lady Gilgamesh and Limen. The third figure was quite surprising: Khan, a Keeper. Is he here to give back-up for HaLOS? Or is he here for personal reason? The forth super is someone quite new to it: this female with black feather mask looked like she’s came out of some masquerade nearby. Since it wasn’t inform that any other Keeper might be aiding its mission, clearly Khan isn’t here to give it support. With that in mind, HaLOS get its robotic form ready for data collection and combat.
“Confirming acquisition,” it said to itself, “primary mission parameter: keep Giovanni alive. Anyone stand in the way will be deemed hazardous; authorizing termination of any potential threats. Releasing safety lock mechanism.”
OPPOSING: keep Giovanni “safe”

Nemesis preferred to leave the downtown district to the other heroes, but that didn't mean she ignored the area entirely. The slums weren't the only place full of criminals trying to take what didn't belong to them. All sorts of outlaws and bandits crawled the streets these days.
Tonight, she was here because of an unsettling rumor overheard from one of the local idiots. They mentioned how some important meeting for their organization was supposed to take place around now. Their boss would be off negotiating a better deal that should make life easier for all of them. As if Nemesis could sit back and let that happen.
In hindsight, she should have interrogated them for more information rather than beat them senseless, but there's no point in thinking about that now. She had a vague idea where to look for that boss man. What else did she need to know?
After passing a nearby building, her detection powers picked up a familiar aura. Not a specific person she knew by name, but a certain type of asshole she was used to dealing with. There aren't too many good reasons for a bunch of men with guns to be standing around the same place like that. Some of them looked like they were trying to guard the location from an unknown threat.
This must be the place. If not, well, it's not like there's a bunch of cops in there having a convention. Aside from that, Nemesis didn't personally care which group she was about to piss off. The targets in front of her were certainly up to no good. That's all that mattered.
Opposing: Don't mind me, just here to beat people up.

He scanned the area from his location. Taking note of where visible guards were. Nodding in acknowledgement of Limen's comment, both his code for assistance and the sniper that she'd pointed out. They weren't messing around, but with the targets inside he'd imagine they wouldn't. But that was good, Gilgamesh wasn't going to mess around either. He was practically humming with energy, eager to start but waiting for the rotation to pass. He wanted this to be fast and brutal. At least until he made it to The Don.
His heart was pounding despite himself. The scared little Alex that still resided in part of his heart was clutching his heart in fear. While Gilgamesh felt alive as he anticipated the thrill of battle. This was going to be a milestone for him unlike any other. Even the Dragon couldn't hope to hold a space in his heart as dear as The Don. As far as targets went there could surely be no better one. No feeling could ever feel as sweet as vengeance, or so he imagined.
"Ready or not, here I come...."
He whispered to the night air, a small smirk crossing his features. Tonight was a good night for vengeance.

Khan waited for Gil to give the signal. This was personal for him, so Khan had no qualms about letting him call the shots. He had no real personal stake in this, though its success certainly would have some benefits.
He propelled himself forward after Gil, looking to land nearby and as out of sight as possible, though he was sure he would catch someone's eye soon enough.

seriously? After all the years of his preaching about taking fate in your hands and relying on your own strength, he brings lackeys? Disgusting. Valkyrie knew of Limen, but the man with the metal arm was as foreign to her as those who seemed to be intent on dissuading the assassination. One of them was even shiny; at least she'd gotten it half right.
She knew about the little sparrow that followed him like a shadow, but which of the others was going to be the bigger threat? Ducking out of sight of a guard as she made her way past the arrogant men who tho it to block her, Valkyrie went in for a closer "inspection."
After all, guests are expected to mingle.

Before she could make her move, Nemesis detected other people approaching the building full of criminals. From their body language and general stealthiness, she felt safe in assuming they weren't on the same side of those gangsters. They definitely weren't members of Bulwark. Maybe a rival crew, here to settle some disagreement? She didn't immediately recognize any of them, but they couldn't. . . couldn't be much of a. . .
What was he doing here?
Nemesis had completely lost her train of thought, thankful no one else was around to see her stare slack-jawed at the arrival of Gilgamesh. Well, she only saw his pinkish aura somewhere nearby but who else could it be? A few weeks ago, the idea of trying to stand in his way would have terrified her. But now, after punching a dragon to death, even Gil seemed less intimidating in comparison. Although if he was here, then the others are supers too, aren't they? Tonight just became a lot more complicated.
Nemesis shook her head, then continued towards the invaders. No matter who they were, she couldn't let anyone get in the way of her job.

Scanning the area to make sure HaLOS have all the intruders in the meeting all accounted for, eventually it note of another supers appeared in its radar. With the present of five intruders show up at Giovanni’s meeting area, HaLOS need to keep a close eyes on all of them in case they’re all here for Giovanni himself. Soon enough, HaLOS detect Gilgamesh decided to move out of his hiding spot, along with Khan. Limen possibly here to give them support from far away, judging on how good of a shooter she is with her bow and arrow the last them they encountered.
So with that, HaLOS emerged out of the shadow and quickly make its way forward to intercept Gilgamesh and Khan. Soon enough, the other two intruders also began to move, converging themselves on Gilgamesh and Khan’s path. Either they’re grouping up to get ready to attack, or the two females are trying to intercept them, HaLOS need to get itself there if a fight broke out. If they’re loud enough, perhaps Giovanni’s stupid lackeys will take the hint to move their boss somewhere secure and out of sight in case of potential sniper.
As of now, HaLOS need to “welcome” his guests, and keep them busy until Giovanni finally move his ass out of harm’s way. Because if he didn’t, HaLOS might have a hard time using its full force to neutralize the intruders while keeping the guy uninjured.

All one had to do to find their target was follow the trail of bodies. How surprising. Not.
Mental mockery aside, Valkyrie ducked past a few of the guards that were on the fringes, but that changed when the pileup started. The brutal violence shown to those who stood in the way didn't phase her, but there were many of them, each more annoying than the last as she they prevented her initial plan to go after the trio. Quick though she may be, she wasn't able to dodge them all, infuriating the disciple as she was slowed down by those who would lose their jobs after tonight, one way or another.
It seemed the robot would have to wait longer than they would like for assistance as Valkyrie shoved another body out of the way as it dared land in her path. With her metallic companion seeming to be able to reach any of those he pleased, she would go for her own pick of the litter. Fine, she'd take who she wanted and let the others choose between the leftovers.

HaLOS ducked and weaved through Gilgamesh’s attack on the unpowered guards in the area, pushing some of them out of the way before deliver its strike true to the target. Khan might have took this personal and swing it straight into the solid wall nearby with his power. The strike would have been quite damaging if HaLOS didn’t prepare itself for physical damage for its robotic form. Taking in account for possible weapon, HaLOS reinforced its robot body with titanium alloy, protecting the importance area with them much more than it did way before.
The collision on the wall was strong enough to leave a huge indentation around the robot. HaLOS simply moved itself out of the wall and shake off the dust and rubble on its shoulder like nothing happen. It then turned toward Khan:
“This is your last and only warning; all of you vacate this vicinity immediately.”
