When Cheshire was pulled away from the canisters he seemed to move with an elegance that one wouldn't expect from someone being pulled. Rather he was moving with Lucy, almost as if he knew she would pulling him that way. Those that didn't get out of the way of the gas as it flowed upward and outward from the canisters would begin to cough and wheeze as the tear gas filled their lungs and burned their eyes. Cheshire, like Lucy was enjoying the show.
Cheshire was content to offer her a toothy grin at both her excitement and her choice of color. By far the most important question of the night. And while she didn't know it, answering that question was the most important choice she'd make that night. At least for someone here tonight. While Lucy was watching the SWAT come in behind their riot shields and with guns out, yelling for people to get down. Chaos as people trampled over each other or threw themselves to the ground. Cheshire was instead watching Lucy with his nearly undivided attention. Pausing only to reach into his jacket, pulling out a single gas mask which he'd begin to put on as the tear gas spread to where they were.
The motion was not unnoticed however as one of the SWAT members caught sight of him reaching in his jacket and raised his rifle at the two of them, shouting for them to drop to their knees and raise their hands. Cheshire didn't intend to comply, but this adventure wasn't for him.

Lucy smiled back at Cheshire, he looked like he was having a great time too, who wouldn't!? Well, maybe those people coughing their lungs out but they seriously should have ran as soon as those canisters got thrown, duh!
She begin to try and follow the SWAT guys who were running all around with their giant guns and shields. That was completely awesome but what the hell kind of bust needed all this? What, some guys are going to blow up the city or something? She didn't get to continue the thought, as if she could have, when a SWAT guy suddenly started threatening them with a gun just 'cause Cheshire grabbed a gas mask from his jacket, couldn't these people see it wasn't anything dangerous!? "Hey, what are pointing the gun at us for!? God, we're not doing anything, but standing here, dumbass!" Yeah, he really didn't like being called a dumbass judging by how loudly he started screaming at them to get down now. Honestly, Lucy wasn't sure what to do, she wanted to keep watching and didn't want to listen to this guy but the gas was getting thicker where she was standing. So she crossed her arms, deciding not to move.
