"How adorable..." Cosmos spoke in a mocking yet nonchalant tone. Deep down he always expected the un powered population to do something about all of the property damage supers caused but he hadn't expected them to take a stand this soon. It was somewhat amusing really , for the past two months companies, the government and the military had been willingly donating a good portion of money to what they called the ASAPP. Also known as the Anti. Super. Assault. Police. Program, the purpose of this program was simple. It was a training program which involved taking soldiers from the military and training them in order to form a unit that would specifically deal with the supers. The powerless people were sick of Supers getting away with certain things and generally being above the law. So obviously the government and the military didn't mind pitching in since they thought this would be the answer to the "super problem" all over the world. This program would be tested in Emerald city since it had the record for having the most violent "Super"crimes, if the program could work here it could work anywhere. Sadly Cosmos didn't have much knowledge about the program but he knew it was in a secret location not too far from Emerald city and that it involved new, untested military grade weapons, armor and other gear that would assist in neutralizing supers specifically. This needed to be stopped, usually supers found it easy to handle normal police officers but with proper equipment, training and numbers who knew what this program could achieve? Without bothering to sneak in or disguise himself Cosmos strolled into the police station with his usual costume. He knew the training program wasn't going to be held here, that would make an easy target but he hoped to get some information here. As soon as he entered the police station he was instantly recognized, without hesitation and in a synchronized manner the present police officers stood in offensive stances and whipped out their firearms then aimed them at cosmos before barking out commands like "Remain still", "put your hands above your head" and other submissive instructions Cosmos took no interest in performing. Everyone in the room that didn't have a firearm simply ducked under the tables and tried to protect themselves. Cosmos waited for as many officers as possible to enter the room and aim their gun at him before suddenly lifting his arm, after that signal gun shots were heard. Bullets flew this way and that but none of them came close to Cosmos, infact none of them were even aimed at him. Loud gun shots came one after the other and even the ridiculously loud ratatat of automatic firearms could be heard, but if one cared to check they would notice that the police were purposely firing at each other instead of Cosmos. Cosmos quickly maneuvered through the police battlefield keeping his head low, then left the room. Even after he had left the room the shooting continued. The police officers seemed determined to kill each other and Cosmos kept moving forward. All of the police officers in the building were either under the effects of Cosmos' powers or were rushing to the room to find out why so many guns were being fired. This gave Cosmos all the freedom he needed to roam the police station. Minutes later the shooting finally stopped. By that time, Cosmos had found the room where the police kept most of their records and he was too far to maintain the effects of his ability. When the police officers snapped out of it they were shocked to find a majority of their co-workers bleeding out on the floor. While the police officers were panicking and trying to get their fellow officers medical attention, Cosmos looked through and downloaded as many records as he could. Hopefully he would find out about the location of the ASAPP program and other details. Notes: Still trying to find out where the training program is. It isn't being held at the police station... The police are no longer under the influence of Cosmos' illusion so they have stopped shooting each other and you can control them as NPC's.

Blue Jay stood agape at the door of the police station. He’d been expecting something to have gone down when he’d heard gunshots, but this- he hadn’t been expecting this. The stench of blood and lead saturated the air. The floor tiles were a deep red, and bodies littered the ground. The few police officers left standing were in such a state that it took as long for Blue Jay to recover from his shock for one to even notice the super standing in their doorway.
His shoulders tensed and his fists clenched. These innocent men and women were dying of gunshot wounds, given by each other’s guns. Police officers didn’t just shoot each other. This had to be the work of a super. Why?! These officers weren’t even out on the field! This super had come into the station and laid waste to unpowereds who were neither prepared nor requiting of it. Blue Jay felt anger rising in his chest and throat. “Where.” He seethed, the question coming out more as a command than a query. The women who made eye contact with him pointed.
Blue Jay walked into the station with fire in his eyes and in his step. His shoes left small ripples in the blood and red footprints on the unstained tile. Before he’d even crossed the room his sword was drawn and in his hand, his grip on it tight enough to whiten his knuckles.
They would pay. It didn’t matter who they were, they wouldn’t get away with this. He would make sure of that.
When he turned into the room to see a black-garbed figure going through the police files, he knew who his target was. “You!” He shouted, daggers in his voice. “You think you can just kill all these innocent people?! Who the hell do you think you are?!” Blue Jay was in no mood for banter today. He raised his sword to be level with his shoulder, tip pointed at the masked man.

OPPOSING: You’ve crossed a line, buddy.

Cosmos had been peacefully going through and downloading as many files as he could when a rather loud "You!" could be heard coming from the entrance of the room Cosmos was in. Despite it being one word, the manner in which the person said it made it clear that whoever this was meant business. Cosmos calmly stood from his seat and turned his back on the computer to face the new arrival, his dark cape slightly gliding in the process. The super standing by the entrance continued his rather displeased statement After which he drew a sword, for a moment Cosmos had an internal debate about whether the sword was a tanto or a wakizashi since it didn't look like a full sized katana. After examining the weapon in hand Cosmos replied to the sword wielder's statement. "well that's a bit rude now isn't it?. Shouting at strangers? Is that how your mother raised you?" Cosmos spoke as nonchalantly as usual, his statement was followed by a subtle chuckle. Innocent people?.... There is no such thing as an innocent person.. Not in the world we live in anyway." Cosmos calmly spoke while turning back to the computer and pulling out his flash drive then placed it in his pocket. "As for your question, I didn't kill them. They shot each other , I don't even own a firearm." a slight tone of amusement could be heard as Cosmos spoke, the twisted smile on his mask only serving to make it seem like he was mocking the other super. After a moment or so of silence Cosmos' voice suddenly became slightly more serious than usual " I forced no one to shoot or kill another, I doubt anyone has the ability to take away one's free will. Now I kindly suggest you remove yourself from my path. Making threats is so cliché and I'm honestly in no mood for it."Despite how he spoke ,Cosmos couldn't say this super was unfamiliar, he had seen him once or twice and heard a fair share about him too. This super had a reputation for his singing blade and property damage. "You know you're brand of super is partially the reason why they are forming an Anti super program. You destroy a few buildings and walk away from it expecting no repercussions. You really think you aren't one of the first people they will come after if this program succeeds? " Despite this super's destructive reputation Cosmos couldn't remember this super's name at the moment. However, at the moment this super's name didn't really matter much,Cosmos knew this super would want to start a fight, it was evident in the way in which he held his blade. With a subtle sigh Cosmos quickly grabbed one of his throwing daggers from his belt and threw it in Blue jay's general direction with no actual intention of hitting him. It only served as a distraction while Cosmos used his ability once more , after a few seconds Blue jay would then see a miniature explosion going off behind Cosmos thus causing a hole in the wall. Through that hole entered 8 police officers armed with rather large guns "There he is officers, I tried to stop him. Suddenly all of the large guns were aimed at Blue Jay. "Don't move or we will open fire" the police officers ordered Blue Jay while Cosmos left the room through the hole in the wall. Meanwhile in reality... Cosmos walked right past Blue jay and exited the room then made his way to the coffee machine in the hallway, Cosmos began making himself a warm beverage while Blue Jay dealt with the illusions he saw. Side note: Try not to get hit by the illusions, they'll hurt more than you think.

“I don’t want your bullshit excuses.” Blue Jay snarled. Without hesitation or consolation of the slightest bit of common sense, he displaced forward, through the hole, landing behind the police officers- and came to a jarring stop as his raised sword blade pierced through drywall. He paused in frozen shock, fulling expecting for there not to have been anything in his way, before his mind gave him a piece of misplaced but well-intended advice: don’t get shot. Ripping his blade from the wall (and a nice hunk of drywall along with it), he spun away from the hole to the “cover” of the still remaining portion of the wall, back pressed against it.
Why were those officers raising their guns at him and not the other super? Perhaps that’s how he’d managed to get them to kill each other - he made them somehow confused, maybe made them see certain people as an enemy to shoot. He knew of a couple of supers who could mess with people’s minds-
The realization made Blue Jay want to hit his head against a wall. Think about what had just happened - a small explosion with half a dozen officers placed nicely behind it? This wasn’t an action movie and officers didn’t conjugate like that, especially after what’d just happened in the lobby. If one factors illusions or the ability to alter one’s perceptions, suddenly it made a lot more sense. The problem was, just because he was aware of the illusions or whatever didn’t mean he wouldn’t be affected by them.
Blue Jay tried to quiet his mind filled with adrenaline and the scene in the other room, trying to find any hints of what could certainly be reality. He had come in through that door in the room - it held that he should be able to exit through it fine. The hero vanished from the corner of the room, reappearing a moment later on the other side of the doorway, opposite to where he’d been.
There, by the coffee machine. If this was the true super Blue Jay couldn’t say for sure, but something in his gut said this one was more real. He’d just have to trust that feeling.
“It’s because of your brand of super that mine exists. I’m sure the police would love to have my head - after they take yours.” Again he raised his sword, preparing for his next strike. His voice was darkened to a growl. “I hope you weren’t expecting no repercussions for your actions.”
Ooc: Sorry for the late reply!

Cosmos was seated on a somewhat comfortable chair with his mask tilted to the side slightly so he could sip the coffee he had just made. The loud thud and crash that could be heard from the room where he left the so called "hero" didn't seem to concern him in the least, it was visible in his general body language as he kicked up his feet and rested them upon the desk which the coffee machine was placed. At the moment he hadn't intended to harm the other Super through his illusions and instead opted to test him out just a bit.
It didn't take too long for Cosmos to see Blue jay exit the room. Cosmos' eyebrow arched just a little at the sight. Cosmos had been expecting the other super to play along with the cops, put his hands up, get searched then get fake arrested like a good little hero but that apparently wasn't the case. "Sharper than I thought... Cosmos spoke up while taking a last sip from his coffee, once this was done he adjusted his mask and wore it correctly. Cosmos had the urge to cast a more harmful illusion but now that he knew he was dealing with someone who had half a brain he figured he would humor the young hero with just a bit of a fight. With that thought Cosmos dispelled the illusion completely and stood up before placed the cup of coffee on a nearby desk."You know, you should be honored. Usually violence is beneath me but I'll humor you a bit."
Blue jay had already made a collection of mistakes that Cosmos wouldn't usually forgive but today he was in a good mood so to speak. Which explains why he didn't react to the first set of lectures and threats but now this hero spoke about having his head? "you give an inch..they take a mile I guess." Cosmos spoke with an audible sigh in his voice, obviously showing that he wasn't really in the mood for something as primitive as physical combat. Then again he could no longer look past the foolish threats that were flung his way. "you know... I make a habit of demanding and showing respect, from allies and enemies alike. Making threats is a bit of a clumsy move considering the fact that you don't have much control over the situation." Cosmos lifted his arm, directing it at Blue Jay's sword arm for a second or two before flicking his wrist and lowering his arm once again.
Ooc:its cool don't worry about it

Blue Jay let out a grunt as he felt a sharp pain in his left arm. Not enough to make him drop the sword, or even severely injure him, but it had certainly hurt. What even had the guy done? Blue Jay had only seen him raise his hand, and suddenly his arm had hurt like it was being crushed. There’d been no weapon or flashy anything besides the hand gesture. Was it another mind trick? That was possible… his mind went to the police officers out in the lobby. That had certainly not been a mind trick. Granted they’d had guns, but he still had to watch out.
And watch he would - Cosmos was the only thing in Blue Jay’s sights, and the super had his undivided, anger-fueled attention. The rage in his chest had cooled enough to lift the fog from his mind, but he still felt numb to the world. It’d been a very long time since he’d seen that many so dead, with reason or otherwise. The scene on the blood still lingered in his mind.
“I have no respect for those who kill needlessly.” He replied flatly, bringing his blade back to ready his next attack. “Don’t underestimate me, villain.”
Blue Jay simply let his body act. It was good at that.

Someone else was coming down the hall. A policeman? Possibly, but it was also likely another super who had happened upon the scene. Had they come to help? Stab him in the back? Blue Jay only saw the figure out of the corner of his eye, afraid to take his off of the illusionist. He’d find out sooner or later. He didn’t address the arriving super, or even bother with eye contact; for now he had but one target, and one he refused to lose.

Once he saw the situation before him, Anonymous simply stay in the corner, watching Blue Jay doing his work on this so-called copy-cat who think they can walk in and mimic his artistic design. Blue Jay is clearly doesn’t feel distracted by his present at the scene. Looking at the masked super that Blue Jay is making work on him, he just take the hit without doing anything.
He knew he needs to be careful, however. Whoever this poser might be, Anonymous should not let his guard down. For all he know, this poser is manipulation his vision right now, and Blue Jay might just simply attacking the wall right about now. For now, he need to stay hidden to ensure Blue Jay won’t mistake him for the masked criminal.

No, not yet. He could feel it - maybe it was the boiling in his chest, or his experience with tough supers, or fear that if he didn’t fully complete this job the super would only take more innocent lives - but he knew this fight was not yet finished.
The arrival he’d caught sight of was the last thing on his mind. He’d deal with them later. Lowering his blade from his last attack, he changed his stance yet again, preparing for his next. He would make certain that this would end the fight.

It was over. Blue Jay’s shoulders slumped and his sword dropped to his side. The fight was over, and he had won. He felt tired - the fight hadn’t even lasted all that long, yet he was utterly drained. He turned slowly around to the hallway behind him. Having expected nothing but bloodied tiles, Blue Jay was duly surprised to see another person standing there. A super, he bet. No sane unpowered would get this close to a super fight.
“Thanks for helping.” Blue Jay said ironically, but without an ounce of humor in his voice. He stomped past him without making eye contact.
The lobby was as much a mess as it had been when he’d first arrived. First aid was being applied to the injured police officers, and sirens could be heard coming down the street, but the panic was still thick on everyone’s face when he came back into the room. No one made any effort to stop him as he walked passed them for the door.
He knew he wouldn’t be of any help stabilizing the victims. His powers weren’t suited for such a task. The paramedics who arrived knew much more about what they were doing than he did, and he got queasy around so much blood. Instead, Blue Jay took to residing on the rooftop of the station, keeping an eye out for any other supers who might try to take advantage of the weakened police force.
A conversation he’d had with Aurora the month prior crept into his mind. A point discussed during made his stomach clench. This event, this tragedy, was why supers’ affairs would always been deeply tied to those of the unpowered. The notion that unpowereds should leave supers to their own business; how could she say such a selfish and naive thing? As though unpowereds didn’t have the right to try to prevent this from happening.
“Just call another super obviously”, he could hear Aurora saying. But that’s exactly what had happened! Blue Jay had stopped Cosmos; a super had intervened in another super’s actions against unpowereds as she said should be the solution to such a case, and still people had died. They’d died before he’d even shown up or anyone had known what was going on, because Cosmos had possessed the power and the will to do so and the policemen were utterly unable to stand against a super, at no fault of their own.
Blue Jay sat with his arms wrapped around his knees, the hilt of his blade still in his grip. His knuckles were white. Where was Aurora’s empathy to the police officers? Where was Cosmos’s? “Has everyone forgotten we’re all human?” He muttered aloud.

Taking option #2!
