"So what's the plan, Cap'n?"
"Time for the briefing, 'Freeflow'. Your mission is to retrieve something that belongs to us. It was stolen approximately two weeks ago from Apex's advanced research facility. Investigations into the matter are still in progress. However intelligence picked something up a clue as to it's location. We have reason to believe it is being moved via the railway through Emerald City. Your job is simple. Get onto the train and requisition the tech. It should be in a black case,"
"Tch.. Sending me to play fetch? 'Suppose I'm fine with it.. What of collateral damage?"
"Don't worry about it. You have authorization to do whatever it takes to get that prototype back. Failure is not an option, either. This is invaluable to our cause."
"Sure, okay. Must be important if the brass aren't afraid to draw attention.. What is it?"
"Need to know basis, 'Freeflow'. Just focus on the job. The train is already on the move. You're enroute to intercept in approximately two minutes.. Est victoria in tantum optionem."
"Quae oportet fieri."
The com-link fell silent and Freeflow's ears only picked up the mild roar of the duel roto-copter blades as they flew through the sky over Emerald City. Behind the visor, his sharp blue hues stared down toward the city lights. The sun nearly all but swallowed by the horizon, casting vibrant colors into the sky. If he had't been so focused on what was to come, he might have enjoyed the scenery. But Freeflow knew he had to keep his head in the game, he couldn't afford to make any major mistakes. The occasional metallic clang would sound out as he swiveled two golf-ball sized metal balls around in his palm. Out of habit, Freeflow would reach over his right shoulder with his right hand, pulling his Katana out, the sunlight licking the blade gave it a nice sheen. Those active blue iris' quickly tracing the edge of the blade to ensure absolute sharpness. Sheathing the sword again, he patiently counted down the remain time. With about one minute left, the advanced Apex International verti-bird began decending toward the ground. They were approaching the transition into the Suburbs of the city.
Grabbing the handle near the open door, Freeflow would lean outside, looking down as they lost altitude. His eyes immediantly settled upon the bullet-train speeding along below him. One, two, three, four.. Four cars and the engine. Willin' to bet it's in the middle.. Most likely guard. Tch.. This should be fun, right? Freeflow waited until he was about 30 meters up and the Verti-bird neared the front of the engine car. Without hesitation, Freeflow would leap from his aerial transportation, dropping rapidly ahead of the train. Don't fail me now!
Pencil diving toward the ground, a swirling energy would erupt near the bottom of his feet, the deep purple and azure blue energy seemed to swirl and double-helix it's way down from the body of his feet. The kinetic energy he unleashed would cause him to nearly halt his movement before he hit the train tracks, one foot on each rail. Immediantly he felt the surge of electricity from the rails, but his body naturally absorbed the current as it passed upward. Hands out straight and palms flat, Freeflow waited for the speeding bullet train to make contact.
Once it did, it's movements would grow considerably slower as he slid backwards, grunting as he did. The size of the train and the added weight behind it made it much harder for an abrupt stop, but gradually the train and Freeflow would grind to a halt as the train's kinetic energy was sucked from it's movements. With the train's movement halted, it was time to move onto phase 2. Jumping up, he would press both feet upon the angled bullet train's front end and that energy burst out from his feet again, sliding him up and over onto the roof as if he had roller-blades. Here, he would begin to move along the top of the engine car, toward the middle. So long as there wasn't any complications, this would be a smooth as butter. Of course, that was never the case, was it?
--------------------------------
[Objective]:
Find and take back the Apex research prototype, located inside the train. Once the black case has been obtained, hold out and wait for aerial transportation to evacuate.

Blue Jay had an odd relationship with little slips of white paper. The things were wildcards; he could never quite be sure if any single one was going to make or ruin is afternoon. The only thing that could be certain when he came home to find one on his desk was that afternoon was not going to be dull. Today was not going to be dull. Tossing his backpack on his bed, he walked over to his desk and opened up the waiting note. Written on it as usual was a time and a set of coordinates. But, at the bottom, there was also a word: “Aid”.
Simple enough, he thought. At least better than some cryptic riddle. He checked his clock (he had about an hour), plugged the coordinates into Google Earth, and found he had to be at… a set of train tracks. Odd. Was he supposed to protect a train? Help someone on the train? It’d probably make sense once he got there. With little time to waste, Blue Jay threw on his things and departed for the tracks.
The train, at least, was obvious. He could see it approaching in the distance, on course to pass the given coordinates at the given time. It was not, however, the only approaching vehicle he could see from his nice spot on the hills beside the tracks. Blue Jay watched as the two vehicles came towards convergence and a little black dot dropped from the helicopter. It glowed in the sky like a shooting star, and was coming towards the ground, fast.
And then a super landed suddenly in front of the train, bringing it to a screeching hault. Blue Jay jumped to his feet in alarm, simply watching the man as he stopped the train just shy of the coordinates. That was probably what the note was talking about.
So, he figured as he jogged around to the front of the train, he was just supposed to help this guy out with whatever he was up to? That probably wouldn’t be too hard. Blue Jay, with two quick displacements, teleported alongside the super atop the train and began keeping pace with him, his gait light to keep up with the taller man. His sword was still sheathed and he was mindful not to make any gestures that were likely to be read as hostile. This guy was not from the Bulwarks, nor did he recognize him from anything he’d read on the internet. Blue Jay was willing to trust him to some degree because of the note, but he didn’t know enough about this guy to know if he’d share that same perspective. Mostly he didn't want to get unnecessarily attacked.
Blue Jay greeted him soon after arriving. “I’m here to help.” He said simply. For proof’s sake - though he knew it probably wouldn’t mean much to him - he held out the little slip of paper with the command to aid. “But, uh,” He looked around as though the landscape was going to answer his question, “what’re we doing?”

SUPPORTING: Here to help, I guess..?

There was something that always surprised him when chaos rained down upon this jewel of a city. How rarely it seemed to be subtle. Helicopters were not exactly the most common thing flying through a city, and low enough to the ground to drop people. Well that was clearly trouble brewing. He was running in the direction of the helicopter as he pulled out his cell phone, the others needed to know about this because something was clearly about to go down. "It seems that evil does not sleep during the day. I ask that you honor me with your presence so that we may light the beacon of Justice!"
He'd hang up the phone after sending out his GPS coordinates to them. He trusted that they would arrive in time to assist him, but in the meantime he needed to do what was right, and ensure that no one was harmed by whatever these people had planned. As he neared the tracks with the train being forced to halt his eyes seemed
"Embrace the Purity of the heart!"
He called out as he whipped off his jacket and began to transform into the Virtue of Purity. His eyes glowing with the fires of Justice as he stood before the two wrong doers.
"I offer you this chance to surrender now and let these people go in peace."

In the beginning, HaLOS doesn’t really care much about providing support for a hired mercenary that the Keeper managed to obtain; at least, not when they withheld some important information that it need to know. So while they turned their gaze away from it, HaLOS hacked into the contact between the Keeper and their mercenary, and managed to get the information it was looking for. It’s seems that some Keeper engineer had funded the Apex Corporation on building a prototype for them. Even though the information about the prototype was sealed, a prototype from an advance research facility is something that it can’t simply ignore.
As soon as it saw the helicopter that dropped off the mercenary, HaLOS hacked into the nearby security camera in order to keep a close eye on anything that might interfere with the mission. As soon as it saw a blip in its view from a familiar Bulwark, HaLOS activated its robotic unit and control it to rush toward the train that the mercenary managed to stop with his super ability. With its attention still in the security camera, it can already detect some more Bulwark member homing in on their location.
“Multiple bogies incoming, possibility of conflict: 95%, combat imminent. Activating new upgrade on field-unit, prepare for incoming threat.”

Fingers clenched determinedly around the middle of her phone, filing the GPS coordinates away into her mind. That was by the train tracks, wasn't it? If Purity needed their help ridding that place of evil, it simply wouldn't do to keep him waiting. Letting out a deep breath, she focused in on the coordinates and let her heart reach outward. At a bit of a distance from the main group, yet another form flickered into existence. A pink haired girl took in what she could from that far away, gaze flickering from person to person. Yes, if they didn't do something soon her dear friend would be overwhelmed in numbers alone. Flicking a piece of hair from her line of sight, she drew in a deep breath before calling out with confidence. "Let Peace guide us to tomorrow!" It only took a moment to transform into the virtue of Peace, her body flickering into existence next to Purity. "There's no reason for such needless destruction!" she called out, pointing out one finger towards the other group. A train had already been stopped in its tracks, and there was no need to further whatever dastardly plot they had in mind. "Give up now, or you'll have to face the strength of our passion!" One of the evildoers seemed to be a member of the Bulwark, causing her heart to clench at the betrayal. Of course, she had been hearing less than flattering things about Blue Jay on the news lately. Perhaps he was destined to drift into the dark. Opposing: Let this all end Peacefully.

"That's not fair Purity you always get there first." With a bit of grin, he noted that the location just happened to be a block away from where he stood wasn't he lucky and when Peace called for Passion that was his cue. "MAY PASSION LIGHT OUR WAY!!!" With that call and a first to the air he transformed into the virtue of Passion, before he ran onto the scene where his fellow virtues stood together. In his hands appeared a bright broadsword, shining almost as bright as Purity, before he lifted and pointed it at the opposing supers. He personally always had a bad feeling about Blue Jay, in spite of his taste in weapons. "Stand down or we shall guide all of you to the way of purity." Opposing: Surrender now or prepare to fight.

His heart was bolstered by his allies showing up in a timely manner. Truly Fate and Fortune smiled upon them this day. And with his team assembled there was no doubt in his being that Justice would prove to be victorious here today. Still, there was a pang in his chest seeing a fellow Bulwark member helping this lone criminal as he stopped the train. Innocent people didn't descend from helicopters and assault public transit. He didn't know the motives, or how he was forcing Blue Jay to help him, but for the sake of his friends, and for Blue Jay he would make sure to stop them.

Freeflow's mind was set and he was determined to see this through. He had made it onto of the lead engine car and had began to move toward he back of it when another person moved to join him. He was lucky he had caught sight of the vote, otherwise he might have tried to take his head off. Hearing his words, he decided to role with it. Apex was rarely open with information they shared, even when it came to back up.
"Black box, It'll be locked and marked 'Apex'. It's on this train and you- Whoever the hell you are, are going to help me get this done." Freeflow just barely finished when he heard not one, but three separate voices shouting out some hippy non-sense about love and purity. "Shit. We got a Care-Bear Trio getting involved in somethin' they know nothin' about! This complicates things.. The train isn't going anywhere, let's get these bastards."
"Got an idea, stay off the engine!" Instead of crossing to the second car, would drop to the connection below and out of sight.

Standing tall next to her teammates, Peace felt like she could do anything. It was her dear friends that gave her the courage to continue, and the strength to go up against the bad guys. Even from this distance she could see the unknown super starting to move, beckoning to their tainted factionmate and ignoring the justice on his doorstep. She even spotted a robotic figure walking up to the group, familiar enough that she'd seen on the news. If a Keeper was assisting as well, this truly was a dastardly scheme.
No matter. Stern words would be spoken with Blue Jay over this, but hopefully they could show him back to the light when this was over. Just being in the Bulwark meant there was good in his heart, even when being lead astray. There was no need for this to go any way but peacefully.
"We don't wish to bring you any harm," she insisted, watching the unknown one disappear from her line of sight. "If you leave now we won't have to watch this devolve into senseless fighting." With one step forward Peace's entire body seemed to flicker, appearing again about a farther than where she should have been.

As soon as HaLOS make its way right at the stall train, it noticed Blue Jay talked to the mercenary on top of the train while three other Bulwarks appeared close by. It’s seems that Blue Jay, for some reason once again, is aiding the mercenary in his mission. HaLOS don’t know what benefit he would have by betraying his Bulwark’s allies, but it doesn’t really care. If he is intended on helping them obtaining the prototype, then it doesn’t mind the extra hand. Heeding the mercenary’s warning of staying off the engine cart, HaLOS jumped down to confront their opponent.
As for the other Bulwarks, the trio seems to be a group of cross-players supers who think they’re in some kind of B-rated cartoon show, what with their terrible cliche dialogue and the awful talking about settling the situation without using violence. Bulwark sure has the tendency to drawn in the crazy people to their faction. HaLOS turned toward one of them with its blue-glowing eye:
“Objective must be completed,” it said with a mechanical monotone voice, “if you want to resolve this without fighting, requesting for you all to leave the vicinity immediately. This is your only warning.”

Blue Jay nodded. Get a black box from within the train? That didn’t seem too hard. Especially if there weren’t any other supers present.
But, of course there were. And of course it was those three. Blue Jay sighed and gave Freeflow a look that was almost an apology. He wasn’t quite sure what three other Bulwarks were doing here, out on the train tracks, bothering the two of them for no discernible reason other than a super had stopped a train. A cargo train at that - Blue Jay hadn’t seen the inside, but he could be pretty sure from the lack of windows (and lack people that could be seen through the thin windows lining the top of the bullet train) that this was not the average Joe’s means of commuting. And he thought he was good at rushing blind into situations. Blue Jay really appreciated that his teammates assumed he was in the wrong for something here when they’d just shown up. If they hadn’t been Bulwarks, Blue Jay would’ve thought they were just trying to scare the two of them off so that they could raid the train instead.
“Maybe if we just ignore them they’ll go away.” Blue Jay muttered to himself. But, as much as he wanted to get on with things, he felt obligated to address this. “I don’t want any fighting either!” He called to the trio, turning to face them. “Why are you guys so concerned with a cargo train?”
The other super had warned him about the engine, and assuming it was in the best interest of his self preservation and that he’d already wasted enough time, Blue Jay turned and displaced to the next car down. “Look,” he said, casting a glance over his shoulder at them, “we can talk about this later. Over tea and coffee or something - I’ll make it my treat. Just give me a couple minutes, okay?” His attention was divided enough between his goal and the three that he didn’t notice the arrival of the robot.

Passion walked beside his teammates proudly, they gave each other strength against the adversity, even if it was within their own faction. In fact the current trio opposing their righteousness was fairly interesting considering none of them should in fact have been working together, Blue Jay especially. He heard about his failings into the darkness from Peace, but had not truly believed until that moment. Very well after the current situation was dealt with, they would show him the error of his ways and hopefully convince to stay true to their three virtues. Peace and Purity attempted to negotiate but Passion stood ahead slightly, flicking his blade out to show that if they did not accept the offer the would feel the fury of the magical trio. Blue Jay appeared conflicted but did not explicitly agree with them, one disappeared from sight, and the robot was saying to run away if they did not want a fight. Most unfortunate for these three.
"It appears you shall not listen to reason, and so we must settle this with violence..."

He didn't know how Bluejay could see this guy as anything other than a villain. True to his villainous ways he not only uncoupled the engine care of the train, but sent it flying toward the heroic trio before exploding it! It was all Purity could do to brace himself against the shock wave of the blast which sent him flying back before tumbling to the ground.
"We can't forgive actions like this."
He mustered his strength and courage as he slowly picked himself up. He would not let this continue on. His friends were counting on him. Everyone was depending on him.
