Londyn remained quiet and out of sight, hugging her arms across her chest as she listened to the various bits of conversation echoing in the alley. The longer the conversation went, the more the jeering and tauning dragged on, the more tense she became, gripping her upper arms so tight that her fingers ached. There was no way this could go well. But Sharon seemed to think so. But if she doubted herself and the likelihood of success so much, why come out here?
Staring at the empty space where she had last seen the other girl disappear, Londyn brain twitched as she she sucked in a breath, trying to be quiet on top of being appalled. There was no missing the meaning behind the thug's words, or Sharon's for that matter.
No. No way. There was no way she meant that. That she'd even say that, and yet, she had. Taking another step back, Londyn was just grateful that there were only two from them, even if all she was good for was hiding.
Well, maybe not two.
"Looks like they've got a friend." The words rumbled with amusement, sending a wave of needle-sharp panic down her spine as the young teen went completely rigid with a tiny squeak. Seriously? Why did there have to be more? She wasn't even disturbing the group that was already close to breaking down into a fight, or worse. Londyn spun on her heel, deciding it was better to face whoever was behind her. It was better than being backed against a wall, right?
"Go away." Whatever courage she thinks she has doesn't keep her voice from shaking. Her hands rose up up for her earrings in hopes of tossing them at the thug in hopes that he'll accept them and back off, but her fingers tremble too much for them to come out easily. She didn't bring any money, and didn't want to think what might happen if the offering wasn't enough.

Are you fucking serious? What the fuck is wrong with this woman?
Was she daft? What the fuck was going through her mind inviting it like that. Alex just stared dumbfounded at her for a moment, breaking character as he forgot that he was supposed to be scared. Instead he just... kind of stared at her. She clearly knew what was being said, and she was obviously pissed.
He was going to try and say something to draw the heat back on him when he heard the sound of a third thug from the mouth of the alleyway talking about another person. Because this wasn't already annoying enough. Now there was another bystander to worry about. Fucking great.
Of course this bitch brought a friend. Fucking tourists.
What was worse was when the other person spoke up, as quiet as it was they were not too quiet for his ears, and the voice... It sounded young. That sent a small cringe through his body. One thing he couldn't sit by and watch was a kid in trouble...
If these thugs don't break this bitches face I swear to god I'm going to smack her across it.
The thug that was going for the purse let out a hearty guffaw when she 'agreed' to the idea. Reaching out to grab at her jeeringly. "Looks like she decided to try out a REAL m-"
the words were drowned out by a sickening snap and a painful scream as Alex sprung into action, grabbing the main guy's hand while he was distracted. Fluidly snapping the wrist causing the knife to clatter to the ground only a moment before he slid a leg behind him to trip out his legs from under him and send him smashing into the pavement. Hard enough that it was a surprise that the pavement didn't crack from the force.
It was time for a new scene to start.

Sharon's smile faded as Londyn appeared behind her. This wouldn't have changed much if it weren't for the arrival of another robber as well. See, this was why the girl was supposed to stay back and wait. This situation had nothing to do with her.
Okay, Sharon realized, she didn't need to get involved either. Fair point, but that was different though! At least she had tricked herself into thinking she knew what she was doing. Most of it was improvisation, but that didn't matter. Literally anything would be better than acting all scared like these two outsiders. Only the confident would get what they wanted around here. Trying to protect both of these idiots wouldn't work if they never stuck with the program.
Ah, well, it was too late to avoid confrontation. Sharon slipped her left hand into her pocket, wrapping the fabric inside around her fist. This wasn't really the time for experimenting, but she didn't have a better option.
The surprise as Chris starting hitting knife bro barely slowed Sharon down. She knew an opening when she saw one, and didn't want to miss her chance. Reaching with both hands, she grabbed the wrist of the man closest to her and pulled him closer. “By the way. . .”
She whispered a few words that no one else seemed to hear, but this guy was visibly more upset. He moved past Sharon towards the guy who appeared behind Londyn.“You holdin' out on us, man!”
With the sudden shift in atmosphere, it took a moment for the third dude to notice he was the one being yelled at. Now he started getting upset. “The hell you on about—”
“Don't be acting like you don't know already!” Sharon honestly didn't know what they might have been talking about, but was grateful for the distraction. A little bit of infighting should prevent anyone important from being hurt. In the mean time, she went to reclaim her purse.

Staying out of sight wasn't much of an option when approached from behind. Despite the offering, Londyn didn't seem to have any luck in deterring the thug. Backed into the alley due to her own fear and keeping distance between herself and the closest threat, the teen had to wonder what she thought she'd been doing coming back here. Of course there would be more trouble; she just hadn't thought it would find her ten minutes after arriving. What good was staying hidden if it meant you'd be found anyway?
Her lips press into a thin line as she stops before bumping into Sharon, gaze darting to one side instead of fully behind her as the brutes start arguing. What were they even on about?
"The hell, man?" The thug who had appeared behind Londyn seemed confused but less angry than the one Sharon had spoken to, but that was quickly changing as he took another stepforwad, continuing the confrontation while also blocking a means of escape.

Alex looked up from the thug that he'd taken out just in time to see the woman pull the second thug in. And with a few softly spoken words the thug was apparently now turning against his own ally. That was... interesting. His eyes narrowed, but not at the thug. They had already lost his attention. Instead he was staring at the woman who had come barging into the scene in the first place.
A Super maybe? That would make sense then why she was jumping right into the middle of all this. Or why she didn't seem to be worried about the thugs. Though it was pretty rare to see a Super do their stuff without a mask. If that was indeed what was happening. Still, she just got elevated on his threat list for this alleyway.
His eyes flickered back to the other new comer, the one that he had heard with the arrival of the third man. The face was recognized from the other night. Twice in such a short time. This was starting to feel like a trap, or a set up. He might have to fight his way past both of them if they were supers. And if not, then they were unlucky to get his radar beeping at them.

Sharon had put off worrying about this last part because it was the hardest step. It would have been nice if the three of them could all just run while the robbers were distracted, but that last guy ruined everything. For once she tried to come up with a long term plan. There's a guy behind Londyn, but everyone else is in front. Sharon could try to do something from here, but that only caused more problems than it solved.
If only she could go over there and take that knife the first idiot dropped, but it would waste precious time. Oh well. She patted her angry new friend on the back, and spoke up once more. “You hearing that nonsense? How 'bout we teach this punk a lesson?”
He needed a second, but eventually nodded his head in agreement. The two of them rushed forward, big guy on the left while Sharon approached from the right. While the would-be criminal probably hoped to bash his ex-friends face in, Sharon only wanted to get between Londyn and the robbers. Maybe even pull her away, not that they had any place to go.

Londyn was utterly confused, and the blonde guy wasn't even on her radar at the moment beyond the fact he wasn't an active threat against her. She hoped not, anyway.
"The hell, man? You taking shit from some trashy ass bitch or what?" The third thug's hands balled into fists as Londyn stepped back while the air rushed around her from the joined attack. She knew there was nothing she would be able to do in the situation that would help. Then she realized Sharon was actually in front of her and she blinked, pulled out of the direct line of fire as the two threats took their suspicions out on each other the best way they knew how: turning each other's faces into hamburger meat.
"What now?" she asked quietly, looking around and eventually seeing Alex. So this was the guy they'd heard? Why was he still here? Why were any of them?

And like that the remaining thugs turned on each other. From just a few words from the older woman. Yeah, that was certainly something. It seemed like the younger one was over her head though. So unlucky or dumb? Being here wasn't a good idea, and he'd thought she would have learned her lesson after the other night.
He'd just watch for now, see if they ran or if they turned on him or finished off the thugs. He was interested to see what came next. All pretense of being afraid was gone, now he was just studying them. Pretty sure that at least one of them was a Super from what he'd just seen. But still not ruling out that both of them were.

Sharon had to admit, it was fun watching this guys punch each other for a while. The third guy apparently lacked the determination of his former partner, eventually falling to the ground. That didn't stop the beating, but did create an opening. The question now was, what were the rest of them going to do after this?
“Just. . .” Sharon honestly didn't know what to do. With the situation pretty much taken care of, her aversion to making decisions was starting to kick back in. Before she could relax all the way, there was one more problem to take care of. There's still one robber left conscious. Sharon knew they could get away with leaving him alone, but every instinct told her otherwise. What if he followed them, or had even more friends close by? Besides, they can't run the other way; her bike is supposed to be waiting in this direction. So if she was going past these guys anyway. . .
Sharon walked over and placed a hand on the winner's shoulder. He deserved a reward for all his effort. “You feeling better?”
Before he could turn around to see her smiling face Sharon kicked him in the head. The man went down with a disquieting crack, so she knelt down to see if he was still breathing. Once she had her answer, she leaned in once more to whisper in his ear. “Then go fuck yourself.”

The lack of fear on the boy's face was puzzling to her, but Londyn's attention was pulled back towards their current problem as Sharon approached the guy from before. She seemed to have something on them, maybe she knew them? They listened to her, which made about as much sense as her going up to he guy like he was her friend and congratulating him.
"What did you do?" She stared at the now unconscious thug, shaking her head. Nevermind what she did. They'd come here while being in over their heads. It was beginning to look like either a bad idea, or a horrible one.

"I bet I have a guess."
Alex said with a snort. He'd shove his hands into his pockets and look over both of them again. The older one was definitely a Super. The younger one he was inclined to think wasn't one now. Not if she didn't know what had just happened. And sure, he didn't know exactly how it all worked. But he knew what he saw. She had some kind of mind control thing or something. She was able to change their perception of reality or truth or convince them of whatever.
That was dangerous. It was a lot safer to fight one that can bend the fabric of reality to their liking rather than one that can change your mind. Especially if they could do it without you noticing it. He'd need to stay vigilant when it came to his thoughts.

What did happen to her? Sharon liked to think she had her emotions under control, but today's events said otherwise. It would have been smarter to leave this guy alone, yet she couldn't accept that. Something about his situation must have reminded her of another time, so she had to get involved. She ran her fingers through her hair and took a moment to think up a response. Trying to rationalize a decision she barely understood required too much effort and lying.
Eventually, she looked away from Londyn and shrugged. “Figured I'd help out a friend, since I could and all. Thought it'd go better than this, but. . .” she shook her head. Sharon just walked over to the man she tried to save.
“You alright, pal?” She couldn't remember seeing him get hurt, but it was not like she had an eye on him the whole time. If he was injured, she ought to stick around to make sure he received the proper treatment. No sense in doing things halfway.
