15 minutes was plenty to get to Dullahan's team's base. He wasn't inclined to waste fuel hurrying.
But before that, there was the matter of his teammate, Sanduleak. Dullahan had no personal experience working with him, but he hadn't heard anything to make him doubt the gunner's abilities. This would be a very informative night all around.
A ladder extended itself down from the platform atop Dullahan, wordlessly offering Sanduleak a ride to the base. It was a short enough walk that he could probably manage it himself, but it didn't cost Dullahan anything to be generous here.
Regardless of whether the offer was accepted or not, Dullahan would drive at a leisurely pace to the base, ignoring the screams and hurriedly-shuttered windows of the civilians along the way. His synthesized voice droned along as he drove.
"I recommend that we work together. I can transport you quickly to any attempting incursions, and you may benefit from taking cover behind my battlements to shield your relatively fragile body."

Bloodbath stuck to the shadows, praying his current ally Inkblot was following. His heart leapt to his throat every strange noise or moving shadows, expecting an attempt of attacks at any moment.
This had the added benefit of him not noticing his own blood streaming down his wrists, he was ready for battle, one way or another.
He was glad to be teamed with Inkblot, they had had a brawl and she did great! He just really hoped there was no hard feelings about starting the fight in the first place.
He froze as mechanical noises echoed through the city, accompanied by an even more mechanical voice, they made it. He shot Inkblot's general position a manic grin and slinked forward.

Sanduleak had been a bit iffy about the car driver. For one, he had heard the rumors and the reminder about the offer to be 'fixed' was not exactly reassuring. With a glance to the side he saw a ladder was offered to him before hearing the proposition. Hm, he was creepy but the guy knew that they should work together and he wasn't being annoying, besides the fragile body comment but he probably should've expected it. Ah what the hell could go wrong.
"I like that plan, I cover the long range threats and you take care of close range."
With a shrug, Sanduleak climbed the ladder and hopped to the top. Call him a freak or a psycho, the 'man' knew what he was doing when it came to vehicles and tactics. Plus he wasn't annoyingly cocky, maybe being emotionless was an advantage. Shaking his head, Sanduleak summoned a pair of revolvers and hid behind cover, they were going to wreck the enemy and he was hopefully getting away with free drinks woohoo.

"This is Ink to Twister-command." She spoke in a hushed voice, ducked down nest to a building as she talked into the radio. Giza was clever to provide a way of communication for everyone, even if dried paint was now caked over the microphone area. The quality was probably down, but there wasn't a doubt in her mind that the other section of team Twister could hear her. "The eagle has landed and plans on making a nice little nest. Eyes on the prize, soldiers in position, you know the drill. Will keep updated, over and out."
It helped that using the communications device made Inkblot feel like some kind of awful spy.
Her eyes connected with Bloodbath's as they heard an unmissable voice, clearly giddy at the fact that they'd found the base already. She gave a complicated series of very enthusiastic hand gestures, flinging paint at a few nearby walls, before ducking into a stealthy crouch. Hands reached down slowly to take hold of her paint brushes, like a cowboy preparing for the draw. It was a shame when friends had to meet on the battlefield, but bets were a serious business that she did not intend to lose.

Sanduleak couldn't help but grin a bit as he caught the artistic Super bouncing around the area like a cartoon character, it was a good maneuver but he could keep up with it. He wasn't expecting the gaseous clouds from his teammate, and once again he was thankful that the mechanical monster man was on his side.
"Hey Ink sorry but you're gonna have try a little harder than that!"
He had already glanced over at their base and saw the lack of flags, Limen said something was special bout theirs maybe it was invisible or something considering Ink didn't appear to be holding it.

"Who says that I'm not already, Sparkle Soldier?" Inkblot let out a loud laugh, knowing already that she'd been seen but all too happy to make the best of it. She was practically a beacon of color, and leaving behind a trail of paint was hardly a way to remain stealthy in this sort of game. Glancing back at the awful looking cloud of gas, she reached up to speak into her radio. "This is Ink-8107, coming in for Birdbath. Can you read me? Do you need assistance?"
Her feet skid to a halt against the sidewalk, grounding herself before the latest challenge. She knew where the flag was, and she'd get it in whatever way she could. Pointing one finger up towards Sanduleak, she pulled it back to threateningly draw a line along her own throat. Drippy red paint trailed behind her touch, just for added effect of the visual.
"You know what we're here for, buddy O mine. Come now and things won't have to get messy." All eight brushes were poised inbetween fingers, all too ready for a proper fight.

Bloodbath didn't even get a chance to see if he succeeded in his attack before a dreadful boom sounded behind him, prompting him to try and laugh forward from whatever horror would catch him.
His legs refused to respond, seizing up as he gasped in a cloud emanating from the things crashing into the ground. He trembled as he flung his legs forward anyway, he was familiar with the feeling of not being able to move, even if this came from a different source.
He could see Inkblot's attack against the other, he had to help! He bit into his lips, drawing a fresh river of red.

Dullahan felt several alarms prick his consciousness as his sensors throughout the bulldozer detected some sort of tampering. Warily, he turned them all off. He hoped Sanduleak knew what he was doing. Some of the finer electronics were beyond the understanding of those without the right superpowers to comprehend them.
His cameras picked up the first opponent to make herself known, splashing around so quickly that at first glance she appeared to be on multiple cameras at once. Fortunately, it seemed that Sanduleak was more than capable of covering any of her attack vectors.
Dullahan turned his attention down to ground-level. As could have been expected, the flashy diversion had bought time for numerous tiny blood beings to crawl onto the bulldozer and begin to approach the gaps between the armored plates.
He revved his engine. "Get ready," his synthesized voice warned his partner.

In all honesty, Twister-1 did not seem to be doing the very best at the moment. Their opponents were making it hard to get a hit in from any angle, hiding like cowards in their vehicle. Or maybe Inkblot was just being a sore loser about it, seeing as everything thus far had been perfectly fair (by Pandaemonium standards anyway). That didn't mean she didn't like to win, and didn't plan to do so here.
All they needed was a little shift in momentum, or else they may as well be crushed. One way or another they had to leave with that flag, even if it meant she had to kidnap Sanduleak himself to get it.
Hopping back a few steps, Inkblot's body once again seemed to melt into nothing but a paint splatter on the ground. She stood atop a nearby one story building in the next second, crouched down low as if to survey the scene.

The bulldozer lurched as Dullahan felt an impact ring through it. At first he thought he had run over Bloodbath, but then a second impact hit him, and then a third.
Somewhere up ahead in the alleyway, obscured by the nerve gas, Bloodbath was actually trying to counterattack. And more surprisingly, it was actually hitting hard enough to slow Dullahan down.
Dullahan would've frowned if he had a mouth. He wouldn't let himself be stopped so easily. Rockets flared up on the back of the bulldozer, pushing it through the flurry of blood attacks and toward their source. Dullahan would run the blood-wielder down if he had to!

Bloodbath sucked in a breath as more gas flooded the area, crawling away as he tried to draw a shield around himself.
He cast a frantic glance around and whimpered, this wasn't going well at all! He could see Inkblot's attempt to strike at Sanduleak, she seemed to know where the flag was and he intended to help!
He pressed himself against the wall as Dullahan's vehicle blew through, sending his heart hammering against his ribs. Yeah, help, maybe without becoming a speedbump...

PANOPTICON Ver. 3.023 analyzing combat data... --- Accumulation (Summoning) by Bloodbath against Accumulation (Summoning) results in SUCCESS, +10% combat advantage Accumulation (Summoning) by Dullahan against Accumulation (Summoning) results in SUCCESS, +10% combat advantage Maneuver (Field) by Sanduleak against inkblot results in SUCCESS, +25% combat advantage Aggression (Destruction) by inkblot against Sanduleak results in FAILURE due to suppression by the equal-or-greater Maneuver (Field) the target used, +10% combat advantage Dullahan and Sanduleak have reached 80% combat advantage on a turn in which they successfully used Accumulation (Summoning), which allows them to use the OVERWHELM opening and win! This front is secure for Team Typhoon. The Capture the Flag game ends in a scoreless tie because of dubious superpower usage. All participants receive 10 Notoriety for their part in the battle! --- Analyzing possible outcomes... Gilgamesh may make the following decision on behalf of Team Typhoon: 1. Stop fighting now that the match seems to be deadlocked. The show of good sportsmanship before things escalate to the point that people could get truly hurt will help foster goodwill within Pandaemonium. Effect: +8 Pandaemonium Prestige2. Forget the game, time to go on a rampage! It's true that it would be a shame to waste the opportunity. Effect: +45 additional Notoriety each for Dullahan Gilgamesh Limen and Sanduleak Giza Kadabra may make the following decision on behalf of Team Twister: 1. Stop fighting now that the match seems to be deadlocked. The show of good sportsmanship before things escalate to the point that people could get truly hurt will help foster goodwill within Pandaemonium. Effect: +8 Pandaemonium Prestige, +4 Unaligned Prestige2. Forget the game, time to go on a rampage! It's true that it would be a shame to waste the opportunity. Effect: +45 additional Notoriety each for Aurora Disicio Big Martin Bloodbath Giza Kadabra and inkblot 3. Rematerialize the flag in front of the other team's faces just to bait them into continuing the match a bit longer. Regardless of the outcome, it will definitely increase the game's impact on the city. Effect: +5 Pandaemonium Prestige Effect: +30 additional Notoriety each for Aurora Disicio Big Martin Bloodbath Giza Kadabra and inkblot (In light of the mixed reactions to the proposed tiebreaker rules, this megascheme is resolved according to the original rules as they were when it was posted. Everyone in the megascheme (and anyone else who wants to show up) can do their post-scheme resolution posts here!)
