Anesthesia isn't able to hold onto the arm, but when Gil lowers his head he does decide to smash the butt of his stick on the back of his head!

It wasn't wanting to be a hero that was the part he had disdain for. It was the laziness of most of these so called heroes. The reliance on their powers, the sense of superiority many of them had because of them. Simply because they had been born different. Born with so many advantages and yet time after time he had seen them wandering around, lost, without purpose. It was pathetic.
The blow to the back of the head hurt, and unlike this guy Gilgamesh was capable of pain. But it was a small price to pay to get his arm free. His vision swims momentarily while he whips an arm back to try and knock the stick out of the Hero's hand.

The stick goes flying off to the side, anesthesia rolling back and away to try and gain some distance before hefting the lone stick in front of him.

Gilgamesh would roll away as to to give himself some distance and a chance to catch his breath. He was probably pushing himself with this much fighting so soon after the Dragon, and again that Bitch Valkyrie's stab didn't help matters. But he wasn't going to back down, he didn't know how to quit. The only response the Bulwark would get was Gilgamesh getting back into his Muay Thai stance. He wasn't going to be the one to stop this.

His response to that was to launch himself right back at Anesthesia with a flurry of knees and elbows. He wasn't about to waste his time or energy on banter. He didn't know this person. He didn't care about this person. And banter was a waste of breath, time, and attention. In a fight you needed to be focused on obliterating you enemy, not sounding clever.

He blocks about two of them, smacking his stick down for the collarbone as he eats the entire flurry, barely staying on his feet to no small part of the healing factor.
