"I'm Sin Eater of the Keepers."
Her voice was dead and flat as she hung in the other super's grip. To the untrained ear, it might sound like someone admitting defeat. But there was an edge to her voice, a growing anger that had nothing to do with the feelings she was absorbing with her power. Her curiosity was gone. She knew exactly what she was looking at.
"And I don't buy your reasoning. You're deep in denial if you think the world people would build with true self-actualization is any different from the world we have right here. The status quo would've broken long ago if it weren't capable of handling elements ten times as special as you think you are."
Sin Eater made a motion like a shrug.
"As for my power, it's pretty simple. I take wounds and flaws onto my own body and mind. And then I either regenerate them away-"
She burst into motion all at once. The fatigue and pain rushed back into Aurora, and at the same time, Sin Eater slammed her hand into the back of Aurora's elbow. The force of the impact combined with one hand braced on Aurora's wrist allowed Sin Eater to swing her body over the arm holding her shirt as though it were one of a gymnast's parallel bars, putting her full weight behind a kick aimed precisely at Aurora's jaw.
"-or I give them back!"

"The status quo is overturned often. If you looked at history at all you'd see that."
Aurora would have continued, but the sudden return of her fatigue and pain completely knocked the wind out of her. She went from feeling perfectly fine, better than she had in quite some time even, to being so tired she could barely stay standing once again in less than a second. The sudden change caused her to stumble; the sudden punch to the elbow caused her to drop Sin Eater; and the sudden kick to the jaw knocked her off her feet. A few teeth flew out of her mouth, though it looked like most of them were fake. The disorientation was enough to make her aurora snap back to her, and it was large enough to cover most of her body despite being heavily condensed. It made her look like a glowing silhouette, bright enough that it would be difficult for most people to stare at.
As much as she just wanted to lay there because of how tired she was, that was obviously a bad idea. She quickly sat up, snapping her jaw back into place. Aurora didn't bother to get back onto her feet, instead opting to roll off the side of the building. In this state, she couldn't afford a fight. It was even worse than when she got here if only because when she got here she was already used to feeling terrible. A fight in these conditions would not go well for her. If given the chance, she would simply spawn something under her feet to run across, and get to a hiding place as quickly as possible so she could go home and finally get some rest.

Sin Eater planted her feet as soon as she hit the ground. She almost followed Aurora's brilliant form off the side of the building, but she stopped herself just before committing to the jump.
Even with her opponent in such a sorry state already, their power matchup wasn't an ideal one. More importantly, Sin Eater wasn't quite sure she could control herself this time. Killing another super, especially one who had proven herself so eager to fight against the dragon threat, would jeopardize more than one of Sin Eater's alliances among the Keepers. It would be a big risk to take just for some momentary satisfaction.
It would be a lot of satisfaction, though...
In the end, Sin Eater shook her head and moved to the opposite side of the rooftop. She clambered down and went in the opposite direction as Aurora, content to leave this match unfinished for the time being.
