Cats were going dark. Only a few of them, barely a drop in the ocean of Big Martin's armies, but still enough to attract his notice. Apparently the sneaky super hidden in the building had a means of disabling them, preventing his forces from getting too close.
However, simply evading capture would not be enough. While Azoth was busy trying to save her own skin, Big Martin's elite squadrons had made rapid progress towards the basement. His other forces had disabled many of the building's electrical systems, and now several areas were losing power, disabling Horizon's security measures and preventing whoever had turned on the sprinklers from interfering further. Gilgamesh had taken care of most of the human security, but left nothing but a few doors between the cats and their quarry!
Sure enough, a tight group of slinking felines now descended the final staircase between them and the lowest level. "Nearing target! There may be some doors ahead, but we've got them figured- anything we can't sneak past, Boris can smash through." The lion padding behind the group nodded its assent.
Wonderful! Now there's no reason to hide what we're after anymore. All forces to the lower floors!
The cats Big Martin had ordered to disperse themselves throughout the headquarters suddenly burst into motion, converging on the paths to the basement. Small numbers of cats could be held back and avoided, but would their devious opponents be able to get past the full force of the furry swarm?

As soon as the cat army started to chew on the electrical system, HaLOS can feel the power level is getting disrupted in its system. Gilgamesh is started to charge himself up as he burst through the lobby. They are getting quite close to the basement where the information is kept, and now HaLOS is having some technical difficulty because of the electrical shortage. The cameras are still working, but only barely, so it need to warn Azoth about the situation:
“Warning, G-Gilgamesh is coming your way soon, and M-Martin’s cats are di-disrupting my power source. R-Require some a-assistance in maintaining the connection to the system before the whole system get shut down.”
HaLOS need to come up with a contingency plan quickly if it were to continue this and fast. There’re just too many cats to deal with, and the situation isn’t going well for them at all.

Taking option 3!
More and more dangerous tactics came into play from the opposing side, but it was already too late. The destruction wrought by Gilgamesh, combined with the steady gnawing of Big Martin's cats, had cut off power to almost the entire building, leaving the machine-mind with few resources to draw upon and Azoth with no lights to see by. The cats themselves were very good at seeing in the dark, and cutting off the power only helped them- many locks that were connected to the power grid had been disabled, and the small contingent of jungle cats was more than enough to smash through any remaining obstacles.
A lone cat hopped up to Gilgamesh. "We're in! Big Martin says good work. You can come down if you want to check it out, or just go do your own stuff. And if you need us to help you sometime, you just ask, 'kay?" With a satisfied look on its face, it wandered past, heading back to its squad so it could catch up on what was going down downstairs.
Big Martin himself, meanwhile, was already focused on that side of things. Nicely done, boys and girls, let's have a look at the prize...
Their objective had been the lowest levels from the start, and now they'd head down and search the whole place, see what they could find. Maybe it'd be worth the effort, maybe not, but at least their dangerous curiosity would be sated.
