Bloodbath snickered as his blood spear countered the lightning, scattering some blood, but that could be recovered, "You're loud, t-that won't work o-on me!" He nearly continued his assault when he noticed shadows pulled his arms down, trying to keep him still.
"O-Oh bother." He grumbled angrily as he tried to pull free, whatever, he didn't need to move to attack!
He bit into his lips, adding to his constant stream. "You're dead." He mumbled quietly.

Dullahan sprayed the last of his foam in the general direction of where the hero's sword had fallen, then retracted the foam cannons back into his craft, satisfied with the effect. The cargo was... shaken up a bit, certainly, but they'd live.
It seemed that the other heroes had made the common mistake of underestimating Bloodbath. He hoped that they had the sense to retreat before the unstable supervillain killed them. Superhero lives were most usefully spent against the true threats, like Keepers and dragons.
Not that Dullahan intended to hold back, either. His engine hummed as he navigated his boat alongside the dock, angling for his next move.

Aurora had been making a point to avoid Blue Jay's head while trying to disarm him. Sure, he was more durable than most people, but she wasn't quite sure to what extent. That all went out the window when he called her Disco again. Disco and Disicio sounded nothing alike! The joke didn't even make any sense! With a glower and a bit of teeth grinding, she materialized a large piece of asphalt over his head and he promptly fell over. Good, the unfunny bastard deserved it.
Her smirk returned once more once Dullahan's foam covered the ground. That should be enough to take care of any dogs trying to run away, and any heroes that might try to save them. At this point, they probably couldn't the dogs out of the foam without tearing the poor creatures' feet off, or getting the help of one of the Pandaemonium guards. The latter wasn't going to happen. Pandaemonium may not always be the most professional people around, as evidenced by the nature of this battle, but they weren't quite that bad. Plus, the heroes made the mistake of attacking Bloodbath who was probably the weakest link in that regard, and that would probably make him less inclined to try anything.
There was a slight problem with all this. She apparently knocked out Blue Jay. Would he be able to breathe face down in the foam? Aurora wasn't quite sure how porous it was. After glancing around the battle field to make sure everyone was distracted by the fight and not looking at her, she quickly dissolved the foam around him and sat him up against one of the crates. If anyone made any comments about this she'd be sure to drop another chunk of asphalt on them like she did the unconscious hero, but with any luck, no one would have noticed at all.
Once she was a reasonable distance away from the fallen hero, she got her usual swagger back. She started dissolving the foam at her feet, adding it to her aurora. Her aurora returned to the ceiling, once again filling up the top of the warehouse with psychedelic dust. As the newly formed bits of aurora from the dissolving foam floated upwards to join the rest of the cloud, they made the bottom part of her trench coat billow as though there was a light wind going through the area. She loved this trick so much, it made everything look that much more dramatic.
"One down, two to go! Hit them with everything you've got!"

Foam, white sticky foam showered the area, passing through Rogue's incorporeal form. However, they had little doubt that the moment they became solid it would trap them the same as everyone else. The real question was, where was it coming from? The arc of the spray lead to a small patrol boat who appeared to be allying with Pandemonium judging from the surprise attack. Not a good sign for the unaligned Rogue. In her fight against Bloodbath, the lightening user was clearly disadvantaged at the moment. Rogue could help her, but even their confinement didn't seem to be stopping Bloodbath from making use of his long range attacks. Not sure where BlueJay disappeared off to, Rogue decided, well, it might be time to go rogue, specifically start making a move to grab the painting.
Locking onto the partially full boat, Rogue was banking on the painting being on deck, not quite unloaded yet due to the fighting. The super planned on sticking to the shadows, but there was always the chance whoever was on that boat or Bloodbath would notice suspicious movement in the shadows. Rogue could only block the vision of one of them and their window of opportunity was closing fast, if they wanted to make a move it would have to be now.

Ionica's lightning was not as good as it should have been, because she was slightly distracted by getting stabbed through the chest with some sort of blood spear. It punched through her chest and out the back, something that would have outright killed a normal person. But Ionica wasn't normal, as so she just gave a pained exclaimation and pulled the spear out of her chest. "Ow" she announced, panting heavily for a few seconds as the hole in her chest closed up. "Someone make me immune to pain" she groaned, before looking at the sticky foam on the floor, and then gazing upwards, a plan formulating in her head. And then a better plan formulated.

Blue Jay groaned and put a hand to his head. Shit, what happened? Last he checked, he was just about to move to the next crate while avoiding falling rubble, courtesy of Aurora. Now he was sitting against a different crate, and the super was elsewhere. At least the pain in his head was going away quickly.
Had he been knocked out? But then, wouldn’t he be over there? As the truth dawned on him, his hand moved reflexively to his mask. He breathed a sigh of relief. It was still there. He’d owe Aurora one for this, even if she had just dropped a rock on his head.
Pulling himself up, he looked around for his weapon. “Sword, sword, sword…” he muttered, as though saying it three times would materialize the blade in front of him. Luckily enough, it was right where he’d dropped it on the ground. He broke out in as fast a run as he could manage while also dodging around the sticky goop on the floor, and ducked down to scoop up his sword. Now he just needed a plan; the problem was, he wasn’t sure how much more help he could be. Perhaps it was time to make his exit?
No, not yet. Ionica was still fighting, and it was against his hero code to stop fighting while an ally was still giving it their all. But what could he do? As he was re-attaching the sheath to his back, Blue Jay caught sight of a sharpy abandoned on a nearby table, and a plan formed in his mind. A quick swipe of the sword ripped open one of those plastic envelopes taped to the crates that contained the paper shipping addresses, and pulled out the sheet within. He ran to the table, took the cap off the pen with his teeth, and scribbled something on the wordy side of the paper.
Sheet folded in half and held in his free hand, Blue Jay sprinted for the nearest window. Glass shattered as he dove through it, rolled, got up, and kept running. Holding the paper up as he ran, he yelled at the top of his lungs, “I got the payment agreement! Let’s get out of here!” No payment, not worth their time, right? He didn’t even know if there was such a contract between the two parties, but he had it.

Bloodbath rubbed at his eyes as shadows sprang up, making the hero disappear. He mumbled to himself as the weapon spattered anywhere but his target. He quickly drew it back in towards himself, but felt his body grow uncomfortably light as some blood was left behind.
It got worse.
He suddenly fell foward, feet flying back like some invisible hand had swatted him off his feet. His blood stream quickly flowed underneath his falling body as his mind filed with the desire to protect himself. He managed not to break anything, but whimpered as his head cracked on the ground. Sure, it added to his weaponry, but it felt like he had cracked his skull open.
He lay still a moment, blinking blearingly as sound became muffled or far too loud. He could hear something about a...payment agreement? His eyes snapped wide, oh no!
He pushed frantically against the ground, lifting his head to see one hero holding a piece of paper. He had to get it, Pandemonium needed it!

The floor had a nice, stickiless footing now. And Ionica was getting shot again. Dicks. Getting shot was decidedly painful, even though she recovered from it fast enough. Still, bullets aside, Blue Jay was exclaiming he got some sort of payment agreement. Ionica was wondering if such places really did even use contracts like that, but she wasn't about to stick around and find out. When he announced he had their agreement, she looked to Bloodbath, staunchly opposed to stop him going anywhere. "Well then run, don't just bloody stand there!" she exclaimed, shaking her head softly.

The streams of red liquid came at Rogue, the shadow wielder managing to dodge most of them. One hit true and cut open the mercenary's arm, leaving them with an open wound. Cursing Rogue came to the terrible realization that it wasn't a bad idea to carry around some bandages for cases like these. They'll have to add first aid supplies to their shopping list.
But right now, the super couldn't be bothered by that, as the boat was firing at the flashy heroine. Shaking, Rogue felt anxious being in such a big fight as this, it was new experience fighting with allies as someone who is unaligned. Calculating their next move, Rogue train of thought was derailed by Blue Jay shouting something about a payment agreement. If Rogue had learned one thing, without some form of proof that a contract was made, especially with an organization as disorganized as Pandemonium, the payers will certainly "remember" a much lower price or claim they already paid. Bloodbath seemed particularly distraught about the situation, but Rogue couldn't tell Aurora's reactions or whoever was on the boat might think, if they could hear at all that is.
Speaking about that boat, Rogue sarcastically thought, 'I would have joined Pandemonium a long time ago if I knew they had such nice resources.' The unruly horde wasn't known for high end tech, like the Keepers or Bulwark. Perhaps it was provided by the contractor of the job or a smaller sect of the mob. Either way, Rogue would be looking out for similar vehicles in the future.

Did they even have a contract? It would make sense if they had something to at least get all the details on paper somewhere so they could agree to it, but it hardly mattered. If the smugglers screwed Pandaemonium, what were they going to do? Go to the police? That's about the only thing a legally binding contract would be good for, so when dealing with illegal business it was pretty much useless. Did they really think that not having some stupid sheet of paper would somehow stop the deal from happening? If the smugglers tried to use that excuse, she'd just turn their boat into swiss cheese among other things. It was such a stupid hero ploy that she nearly burst out into laughter. Despite being in a vigilante group, these heroes clearly hadn't spent that much time on the wrong side of the law.
She was about to laugh them off and order her side to continue as usual when Bloodbath chased after the fleeing hero. Aurora just stared with a flat expression for a moment before rubbing her forehead. Two heroes went that way, so it wouldn't be entirely useless. Giving up a battlefield where they couldn't be as destructive would be inconvenient though. She would have words for him later. The heroes would probably come back once they realized their plan didn't work anyway.
That's when she realized that two heroes went out the window, and there was still one inside the building. Two heroes were able to leave. Blue Jay was awake. He was probably still functionally useless, but awake. If he was faking that, she'd kick him down face first into that goo and stamp her foot on his head to hold him there. It was a good thing he already got out of here (what did he have against windows anyway?) or she might have done something drastic.

As soon as it became clear just how little effect the bullets were having on the electric heroine, Dullahan stopped firing immediately. He frowned at the waste of good ammunition. How troubling. The heavy depleted uranium core bullets he favored for anti-super work were not easy to discreetly obtain. Seeing them expended to no appreciable effect was tremendously disappointing.
He overcame his disappointment just in time to see the sword-wielding hero's gambit. It was surprising, how quickly he had recovered. As for the payment agreement itself, though, he could hardly have cared less. Aurora would be furious if it ended up being somehow relevant, of course, but as long as that fury wasn't directed as Dullahan, he didn't really care.

All participants gain 10 Notoriety for their part in the battle! --- Analyzing possible outcomes... 1. Take a defensive position and protect the cargo above all. Pandaemonium's reputation as a reliable business partner in criminal matters will improve among the gangs of the neighboring cities. Effect: +5 Pandaemonium Prestige2. Chase the heroes away, regardless of how much you smash up the docks and the cargo as you do so! This will definitely make the news. Effect: +35 additional Notoriety each for Aurora Disicio Bloodbath and Dullahan As the first one to oppose, Bloodbath gets the final choice. (Admin note: The thread is now open for everyone to play out the details of their victory, retreat in the face of defeat, show up if previously uninvolved, and in general play out the aftermath. Bloodbath gasped for breath, clutching his head as colors lost their brightness, he had overdone it way too much. A frantic anger rose to his throat, this was all the heroesfault!
His bloodstream twisted like an angry worm, as if to reflect his current mood. "Get out." He whispered, stumbling out into the open, "Get out!" He screeched, clutching at his throbbing head as his stream darted at anyone who moved, save for his fellow Pandemonium members.
He could hear screaming as some men got caught in his rage, accompanied with a horrible crunching as the docks collasped under his strikes, but it all flew over his head. Instead, a soft giggle escaped his lips as he caused drastic damage that would be obvious in the morning.
The heroes would have to flee, unless they wanted to be torn into a bloody mess by a bloody mess.
(Taking that extra Notoriety!)

Her attack went off without a hitch, the heroes were scattering, the dogs that escaped their crates were starting to chew off their own legs but otherwise the cargo was mostly in tact. Things were a bit of a mess, but that was just another day at the docks. Someone would come clean it up, and things would be back to normal in no time. This was a total victory as far as Aurora was concerned. It was time to make sure the heroes understood that as well, and given where they all were, meant that it was time to get on a roof. Getting up on a roof would be easy enough for her, but before she was even able to exit the warehouse she heard a rather familiar scream.
"Shit!"
It was Bloodbath. That spaz was going to completely ruin any gloating she could do. Not only would the focus be on him instead of her, but screaming, blood and potential murder seriously put a damper on her monologues. Aurora grit her teeth as she heard parts of the docks starting to fall apart too. She worked so hard to avoid too much damage, and she was the one known for extensive property damage. At this point, she was starting to get madder at her own teammate than the heroes that just tried to foil their business deal. At least the heroes were easier to make fun of. Without wasting a moment, she darted out of the warehouse, the sound of her power picking up any excess foam and the sound of the metal on her boots clanged on the concrete in her rather noisy charge for Bloodbath. Once she was in range, she wasted no time in trying to slap him across the face.
"Snap out of it idiot!"
By this point the mood was ruined and she didn't have much desire to gloat. The heroes would get off easy this time.
