Like all things do, this started out simply as an idea. An innocent little thought that planted itself into Inkblot's head, causing a chuckle in the middle of the day. It was such a silly little metaphor, wasn't it? To paint the town red. To go out and have a good time, and maybe get into a little mischief. She liked that saying quite a bit, if only because she could take it to a more literal meaning than most others. Wouldn't that be fun? Covering everything in paint from head to toe, not leaving an inch of city block uncolored. Despite loving all colors, red would certainly be a better look than Emerald.
Maybe after she was done with it they'd rename the place Ruby City instead. At the very least, if she didn't see a headline with that title by the end of the week she'd be very disappointed in the creativity of journalists.
Eight paint brushes were clenched between Inkblot's fingers as she walked, the usual trail of paint left in her wake a bit different than usual. On a normal day she would be a swirling rainbow of bright colors, each clashing against each other but never mixing. Now her entire form was dyed only in varying shades of red, like a creature made only of blood. She wasn't of course, but that didn't stop a few civilians from letting out an extra terrified scream as they watched her saunter by. There wasn't any time for morbidly hilarious thoughts like that at the moment though. Inkblot was on a mission.
Her clenched fists swiped through the air like a pair of claws, globs of red shooting from the tips of each paint brush with the swift movement. A few slammed into the sides of cars, setting off the alarms and causing them to rock on their frames. The other blobs of color splattered along the outside walls of a building, one causing a window to crack without breaking. This wasn't a show of force, or an active attempt to break the city around her. This was a bit of fun, and a personal challenge. Why turn it all to rubble when she could make it all her personal canvas?
It had been a long time since Inkblot genuinely felt challenged by an art project.
Scheme objective: Cover every inch of the town in red paint by sundown, excluding the insides of buildings (clean up is going to be unfortunate).

He had little interest in painting the town red. At least in a literal sense of the words. What he was interested in was proving himself, testing himself. Against supers. Against groups of mundies. It didn't matter to him, though the harder the challenge the more interested he was in it. That's why he had decided to follow the Red figure. High atop the streets from the rooftops the hooded figure gave chase, watching as small scatterings of people fled in terror. But his eyes were on bigger prizes tonight.
Tonight was a night that he wanted to face one of the Bulwark. More than one preferably. But with such a brazen display happening, again. He was hoping that these so called defenders of the city would show. Disappointment still clouded his features that petty acts of mischief seemed to be the standard fair for Pandemonium, he was beginning to think that he had thrown his lot in with the wrong group. But, he was willing to give them a shot. Them and their methods, perhaps there was a way to get what he wanted out of this. And so he would wait, and watch. Ready to pounce down on the first threat that attempted to stop his ally for the evening.

Limen had heard through the grapevine that Inkblot was attempting to cover the city in as much red paint as humanly (or inhumanly) possible, and that was a damn good plan if she had ever heard one. Lately it seemed the colors of the city had been so drab, with their brick and painted paneling and reflective glass - ever since yesterday (when she’d caught wind of the plan) she’d had this feeling that it was just… missing something. Clearly the city needed more pandaemonium.
So, Limen had made quick arrangements with one of her favorite weapon suppliers, and on her way out of the docks had stopped by. She’d ordered nearly four dozen paint bombs, all done in a nice, happy shade of bright red. She’d paid her dues to the dealer, and then she’d thrown one of the bombs at the stall across the street where it’d exploded in a flurry of red, ruining products and people’s clothing alike. What better place to start the grand red painting than at the home of the pandemoniums?
A wide grin came across Limen’s face as she hopped on her motorbike and slammed on the gas, narrowly avoiding the angry pedestrians who didn’t like her choice in color pallet. But honestly, what were they expecting? This was the Horde - one just had to be prepared to be covered in paint when wandering in a place like this.
So she hoped the rest of the horde was cool with having pain bombs dropped on them as well, because she tossed several more on her speeding drive out. She purposefully aimed for faces she recognized - mostly supers - and caught more than one person completely unaware as a motorbike sped by and then suddenly paint was everywhere.
Paint bombs rumbling in her backpack, exhilaration on her face, and a near cackle emanating from her, Limen flew down the highway. The occasional large red splotch marked her path towards the obvious destination of downtown.
This city would be red by sundown, just watch.

From his own shadowed hideaway among the cities roofs Knife watched the display taking place before his mask, a monstrosity of living, walking red paint raising a clamoring chorus of screeches and screams from terrified humans as it traveled down the city streets below. The viscous monster didn't appear to be targeting civilians in its rampage, merely the glob of human paint was scattering itself about everything and anything it could see. Knife didn't know what the villain could possibly have planned from such an assault, and truthfully the cloaked specter couldn't care less.
Suddenly the face beneath the mask smiled, his amusement hidden away from the world as a thought popped into his head. "This may actually be exactly what I need." Knife muttered to himself as he continued to watch the visual disaster taking place below, Knife knew how to turn this event so that it furthered his own agenda. Cloaks and coat fluttering in his wake Knife abandoned his rooftop to give chase along the city skyline, well out of Inkblot's sight the man followed only ever a building away from the red spattered Super.
Screams and explosions tipped Knife off to a second Super on the scene, huge blasts of paint smacked against buildings and crowds with a sound similar to rainfall. The squeal of a tire on pavement in the distance gave Knife a idea where his second target was, turning for a look the man saw havoc erupting along the highway as someone was fast approaching.
"Today is going to be a very odd day." Knife whispered aloud to no one but himself bringing his attention back towards Inkblot.

These Pandaemonium people are very strange; they break into a silly seminar, they break into prison, and now they’re going around painting the downtown area with red paint of all shade. HaLOS wouldn’t care less about why they would do something so random, and it couldn’t really worry about what they did to these pathetic civilians. Normally it would simply ignore them when they went out to do something like this, since there’s no point of stopping them; there’s no benefit or favor to gain from stopping them from their antic. It was almost an insult to its intellectual mind that the Keeper would asks them to do this type of mission for them.
HaLOS observed the situation via the surveillance cameras all over the down town area in order to survey the situation. So far it got data of three different Pandaemonium members, and they all doesn’t appear to be in its database: a strange living red paint-blob, a hooded figure, and a female motorcycle-rider throwing what appear to be paint bomb at the civilians.
“Analyzing potential opponents, scanning for possible abilities from each target. Risk for civilians: 20%, possible property damage: 50%.”
HaLOS don’t really understand why the Keeper would ask it to stop this juvenile attempt that would only goes as high as vandalizing level. So far its field mission had been met with obstacle, and so far hasn’t been able to succeed in stopping trouble-maker from getting away. Though this won’t give it any advantage in the future, it is still valuable data to gather from these new Pandaemonium members. This information would be helpful for its future encounter with them later on, so at the very least HaLOS decided to humor them. -- OPPOSING: not really care what you do, I only care about your valuable data

She'd just started her little endeavor, and already Inkblot was having the time of her life. Now she knew why that particular metaphor was popular, since following through in a literal sense was such a good time. Red paint propelled outward from her body with each swing of an arm, watching with glee as the civilians began to scatter and shield themselves with umbrellas. The racket of screeching of tires carried down the road at to her ears, only building excitement.
The cavalry was on it's way, baring the bombs to reach whatever nooks Inkblot herself missed. Not to mention it was likely that their silent self-imposed bodyguard lurked in the shadows, keeping a vigilant eye out for any self-righteous goodies from the Bulwark. The three of them could handle anything that was coming their way.
Spinning on her heel, Inkblot fully intended to welcome Limen with her newly refueled manic energy. What she hadn't expected to see was another figure, staring in the direction of her ally before turning their attention back to her. Bingo, looks like they had company.
They didn't look like a member of the Bulwark, which would be disappointing for Gilgamesh. Maybe she'd get the guy a card to express her condolences, or a nice gift card to that restaurant she had just coated in paint.

Looking through any traffic cameras that haven’t painted in red just yet, HaLOS observed to see if it can see any Keeper agent nearby. Rather unfortunate that none seems to be in the vicinity, so this is something it must face alone. Perfect, that mean no friendly fire if the situation escalate to that point. Once the scanning was complete, HaLOS jumped down onto the street below with its robotic form.
Seeing there’s animosity between the masked super and the walking blob, it can be certain they are not ally at the moment. HaLOS aren’t sure if this other super might be a problem to pay attention to, but at the moment he isn’t the biggest threat. The three Pandaemonium supers had already covered some building with red paint already, so it needs to get ready.
Rather strange that no Bulwarks show up for this situation, so either they’re all busy flicking each other ears or they’re incredibly slow at dealing with crime even when it happen in their front yard. Not that it really matter, HaLOS only here to record their data for future encounter. Even if this whole neighborhood got a fresh new coat of paint, it wouldn’t really hurt the Keeper in the long run. Cross-references with other eyewitness report of these supers across the database, HaLOS have now obtained their names to put in its memory unit: Knife, Limen, Inkblot and Gilgamesh. Now it just need their fighting capability.
Of course those data aren’t free; in order for it to record and put each of their ability into is memory core, HaLOS need to engage one of them in a fight. It just needs to know which one of the three Pandaemonium supers it needs to focus its attention to.

It seemed a bit of paint was all it took to bring traffic to a complete and utter hault. The highway exits to downtown were parking lots - enough so that people were getting out of their cars because it was clear no one was going anywhere anytime soon. Not if they didn’t want to get in the middle of a “super on the rampage, destroying buildings and the streets, making yet one more part of town uninhabitable for quite some time and coming one step short of another tragedy” as the melodramatic announcer on the radio said. Or, if like her, one didn’t care about roads. Dismounting civilians had to jump out of the way as Limen drove down the edge of the exit ramp, nearly hitting three people and almost taking out an opened car door. The streets were just as clogged as the highway and so onto the sidewalk Limen went. A very red sidewalk, after Limen was there.
The highway exited almost directly into the heart of downtown, and it was immediately clear why cars were abandoned on the streets and she was having no opposition for being on the sidewalk. Buildings, cars, road, trees - all were covered in bright red paint.
She was certainly in the right place. Limen dodged out of the way of the last fleeing pedestrians (or, more accurately, they got out of her way) and began a headcount of those who would be sticking around. One in the center of a mass of red paint, Inkblot, obviously, who was making a picasso out of the nearby structures. That’d be great for property values. One more was on the street. The sheer amount of metal on this guy was enough to make Limen think they were a robot, but that was silly - in her experience, a number of supers looked like, fought in, or controlled robots, but not once had she ever met an actual robot. The question was, where was the person? There were two on rooftops - one she didn’t recognize, but judging by midnight-black cape, mask, and blatant disregard for common pedestrian paths was likely a super. The other she did recognize and therefore got a paint bomb chucked at him as she passed by the building he stood atop. She couldn’t throw it hard enough while driving for it to reach farther than the second floor (where it exploded in a giant blob of paint, sending red droplets flying in every direction), but she hoped Gilgamesh got her happy and kind greeting.

Knife almost managed to return his attention to the walking mass of red paint before another bomb went off behind him, the roar of a motorcycle careening down the highway off ramp and nearly flattening several people along the way was to much for the masked man to ignore. The spectacle was a distraction, but Knife determined the true threat was the paint monster, not the motorist nor the hooded man Knife had noticed slipping along the rooftops in parallel to himself a few minutes back.
When the darkly clad man had returned his full attention back to Inkblot, the gleam of a metal mans armor caught his eye momentarily but Knife let the image go without a second thought when he noticed the armor wasn't threatening the civilians or throwing about red mess. Unable to see any facial features on the red painted Super it was hard for Knife to know if the individual had noticed him, in the end it didn't matter however. Outnumbered knife knew his only chance at winning a fight would be to end the most dangerous Super in the field first.
Several stories above most of the other Supers on the scene knife was left with limited options on how to proceed so he did the only thing that came to mind. Cloaks and coats fluttering in the wind Knife leaped over the edge, dropping like a dark missile toward his target.

Gilgamesh stayed where he was for now, still unsure who the biggest threat would turn out to be, or who would actually be the first one to try and disrupt the events of the night. Gloved fists clenched and unclenched, eager for a chance to jump into the action. Eager for a chance to unleashed the boiling rage that was bubbling up inside him. Burning so hot that he felt like he could just explode.
The sudden movement caught his eye. Someone leaping from the roof. Toward the paint covered figure? Toward the composer of tonight's orchestra of chaos? The beacon for the challenger that he hoped with all of his heart would come tonight. Could this masked man be his target for the night? He moved to the edge of the roof, the back of his cloak blowing gently in the wind. He would wait, and watch for now before deciding if the masked one was to be his target for the night.

“Scanning: 80%...90%...scanning comple-“
When HaLOS detected something explode near its vicinity, it noticed its visual sensory unit is receiving red all of the sudden. With its other senses, it heard the noise of a motorcycle driving pass it as soon as its vision got interrupted. Hacking into the nearby traffic camera, HaLOS identify the one responsible for this: Limen.
HaLOS simply shrugged before it placed its hand on the coat and pulled out a spare visual sensory unit. Pulling out its paint-cover eye, HaLOS replaced the unit, and take shorter than a second to re-calibrate with the new eye replacement. Once it does, it start recording Inkblot and Knife’s ability when the two of them start fighting each other. Looking up at Gilgamesh’s position, HaLOS didn’t really see what he’s up to. With that in mind, it simply keep a close eye on him in case he started to charge into the fight.

Droplets of red paint fired like bullets from Inkblot's brushes, spreading like a wall of shotgun pellets. Deciding it would be best not to get hit by such a strange attack Knife burst into motion. The many cloaked man jumped sharply to his right, cartwheeling with one hand the man threw his body out of range of the villain's attack. Red splashed along concrete with a powerful wet smack, several drops even struck the once yellow Chevy denting the steel frame into a mangled mess of red metal.
Slightly down the street Knife was aware of the motorcyclist bombing the neighborhood, even the strange suit of armor got covered in one of the blasts, luckily the big metal man seemed unperturbed from the assault. Even worse was the hooded man up above, just watching the fight... waiting to strike. The odds were against them Knife knew and though he loved a challenge, it still left a pit in his stomach. The device thrumming with power on his hip was working at least, the machine pumped out low frequency noise that instilled vertigo in those who heard it, even now it worked its magic on Inkblot.
Readying his next attack a police car burst onto the scene, the black and white sped in a manner that relied intent. The driver would be joining the fight soon, Knife was sure. With this new turn of events Knife pulled three knives per hand from his cloaks, the blades clasped tightly between his fingers; it was time to change the flow of the battle.

Tires screeched as Stunt Double slid the police cruiser into the middle of the battlefield. There was a loud crunch as the cruiser slammed into a Ferrari parked on the side of the road. Stunt Double wasted no time bailing out of the cruiser, wearing the appearance of the police officer that he had borrowed the vehicle from.
He glanced over the assembled supers, finally settling his gaze on the cloaked figure standing on the edge of a rooftop.
"So, it's come to this. I wasn't looking forward to this meeting..." Stunt Double extended a finger toward the rooftop figure. "Girugamesh!"
"I may share your love of Japanese Nu Metal, and I respect your dedication in naming yourself after its greatest band, but that doesn't mean I can stand by and let you do as you please! Being a superhero means doing what's right, even if it puts you up against those who might have been your friends in more peaceful times."
Stunt Double raised his fists into a fighting posture, preparing to rush into battle.
"I, Stunt Double, will stop you right here!"
