Azoth didn’t see what the Keepers knowing this information had anything to do with the current situation. She also didn’t see why he’d suddenly brought up Unhallow - but most importantly, she did not see the point of Anonymous’s question.
“That has little to do with the trade.” She stated bluntly, a hint of irritation coming into her voice. She held out her empty hand in a gesture sharing in tone with her voice. “Your end of the bargain, Anonymous.”
Was he stalling? For what? Azoth’s eyes remained locked on the super before her - or, at least what she assumed to be the super. She’d already been caught in his illusions once, and she didn’t know enough about his power to be entirely certain they were over. All she could be certain of was her own abilities.
Again, around her, she began taking little specs of air. Testing them to see if what they contained matched with what her senses could infer they should hold - heat, presence of sound waves, direction of airflow - most importantly, she took a couple about a foot away from Anonymous. She wished to confirm he was still where her eyes said he was.
She wanted his information and she wanted to leave. This stalling was annoying and unwelcome.

“Aw, at the very least you could humor me on that little inquiry. I'm bored out of my mind here, so I figure we can strike a conversation. I won't go anywhere, I promise; hell, you can tell my heat signature anyway so you know I'm not lying.”
Anonymous simply smile as he can see the paranoia started to form all over her mind like a swarm of termite gnawing away common sense. This girl is way too paranoid about everything for someone her age, like a certain Keeper he knew. Either both Azoth and Unhallow are related somehow, or all little girl Keeper are all like that: afraid, frail, and just down right depressing.
“You really don’t have to worry about every little thing too much; it’ll make your face all wrinkle up like a prune. Honestly, you think those higher-ups in your secret Illuminati bunker somewhere in the Alp would at least teach you kid some common sense and be patient. It’s not like the end of the world is going to happen tomorrow or something.”
He laughed at that comment; the irony of it is just too hilarious to keep a straight face. He eventually clear his throat and managed to calm his nerve from bursting into another laughing fit.
“But seriously though, you need to learn how to relax, go with the flow, being swifty or whatever floats your boat. There’s nothing wrong with a small idle conversation between two people now, is it? We have all the time in the world right now, so at least enjoy it.”

Azoth sucked in a breath. He was indeed where he appeared to be, at least, but the whole of this conversation, encounter, made her uneasy. She did not care for his mockery of her, or this stalling, or how he continued to talk down to her. The first and the last she was used to, she could deal with them, but the second touched her nerves.
“Under normal circumstances, yes, idle conversation can be enjoyable. However we are presently in the middle of an information trade and you hold half of my information while I have received none from you.” She raised her hand again from where it had slumped. “If there is more you would like to discuss, we can do so after we have concluded business.”
How many times would she have to say it? She was not interested in ‘chatting’ while something as important as information hung in the air. She wished he would just hold his end of the bargain so she could hand off the rest of her information and be done with this. With all Anonymous had done tonight, she was more than ready for this conversation to be over.

Anonymous simply burst out laughing, in a way that would make anyone feel uneasy.
“Oh, and here I thought you’ll be smarter than that. You didn’t see I already gave you a little hint of that information? You honestly need to pay attention more; otherwise the answer might fly by without you catching it.”
He continued on laughing for what feel like minutes before he finally calm down:
“I’m certain you hear about what happen at Seaside some time ago, right? It was on the newspaper; you know, those big multiple sheet of paper with words written on them in black that being sold daily early morning at that tiny stall? Or that roll-up papers that being delivered at your door every morning?
Anyway, in case you’re too modern to read those things anymore but instead looking online, Seaside got quarantine by the government some time ago for unknown black-out, and no communication were made during that time. Well, let’s just said that I came across the truth behind that during that time your dear friend Unhallow was on a mission out in the train yard to…what was it? Ah, right, obtaining a certain reporter, I believe. You know, the night that they make such a huge mess after what happen there. You should’ve seen it; it almost looks like a monster just went to town when it came to Emerald City that night.
But hey, what do I know about old mythical creatures and legends, right? I’m sure all those D&D players out there would have more manners to have idle small talk than you. So relax and enjoy the night; everyone must be excited about the 4th of July firework, assuming they’re alive after the 1st.”
Anonymous let out a wicked smile at Azoth; if she’s still unable to catch the hint now, then those Keepers agent must have employed the worst supers out there, right next to the Bulwark’s level of incompetence if it even possible.

Anonymous’s laughing was starting to send shivers down Azoth’s spine. She really didn’t like the way he was laughing, or talking to her, but more than any of that, what he was implying. Her shoulders were already tense from his outburst, but as he went on, her eyes steadily grew wider. He couldn’t be saying what she thought he was saying. She had gotten that email he spoke of, and had suspected… but nothing had confirmed her fears; the worst-case scenario. Until now.
Azoth sucked in a sharp breath, bringing her shoulders down from her ears but not to neutral. Her hands were clenched in front of her. “Do you have proof?” She gasped.
She was inclined to believe him; it was entirely plausible and, as she had figured when she went over that email, fairly likely, but she didn’t want to believe him. She wanted proof. And she wanted that proof to be fake.
“Here.” She stopped, hand out before her. Given about twenty seconds, a second folder grew in her hand, thicker than the first only because it contained the booklet. Just in case, she kept a strong mental note of the location of the folder. “Give me proof, I will give you the rest of the information.”

“Bloody finally,” Anonymous thought to himself, “took her long enough to get the bloody hint.”
He smiled as soon as Azoth created the file right out of thin air once again. Taking a close look at her thought, he can see that jumble of code running through her head once again. With that, Anonymous can at least have some idea of how Azoth’s power seems to work. It’s quite a very interesting ability indeed, and such a power could be easily abuse by the Keeper, or anyone if they ever find out.
That’s explained her constant paranoia thought running through her head like a rat trapped on a spinning wheel. Well, at the least he understands a part of her ability; there’s still the issue of how she does it and the limit of them still elude his grasp. But for now, he figured it’s not such a bad catch for their first interaction. Now he just needs to decipher that code, and eventually he’ll be able to use that code to his advantage. After all, even the most secured and high-tech computer in the world can get hack quite easily once you learn its weakness to bypass its firewall.
“What, you don’t trust my word? I’m rather hurt that you think I’m so untrustworthy. Would a face like this lie to you?”
He turned his facelessness into a human man looking sad with those puppy eyes that make everyone one who take a glance at it without context will aw like seeing a newborn baby. Of course, it only took a few moments for Anonymous to burst out laughing again:
“I will admit, you truly are such an interesting person. I’m certain you’ll grow to trust me…eventually, whether you wanted to or not.”
With that said, Anonymous took out the small little file in his jacket and show it to her. He didn’t move one bit, simply standing there showing the file for her to see. Now, if she can truly do what he believed she can, she could easily tell this is the same file that she just gave him awhile ago. All he needs to do is listened to her thought once again to get the base-line of those codes to something he can be of certain of getting a same pattern as before when she generate this file out of thin air. Once he can be certain the codes are the exact match, he can have a base-line on how to crack that code.

Azoth’s brow twitched. She clicked her tongue. She really did not want to play his games. Why didn’t he just give her the information already? It wasn’t that hard; he just had to walk a couple of feet towards her, hold out the folder, and she’d give it a quick look. A child could do something so simple. It wasn’t like she’d be keeping him waiting, either, as it’d only take a moment to confirm the information.
And that bit about trusting him, as though she could trust someone like him. She couldn’t trust even her most common, well-mannered, unpowered clients. He thought she’d be able to trust someone who could mess with her head? Originally it had been nothing personal, and too much of a degree, it still wasn’t. This was standard procedure for her; trust no one, don’t get stabbed in the back. However, Anonymous without a doubt was far more dangerous than an unpowered drug lord.
She still had a deal to finish. She moved her own folder under her arm, keeping a strong mental note on its location, and held out her empty hand to him. “Anonymous. Please hand it to me. This is a courteous trade, is it not? There is only so long you can insult me.”

Anonymous listened carefully on Azoth’s thought, and so far he couldn’t see those weird codes running around in her head anymore. And judging from her response, she clearly didn’t even realize this is the very same file she just gave him. Reading the frustration in her head, Anonymous can sort of guess she isn’t going to humor him by using her power before him again. Since he can’t seems to force Azoth from using her power without letting her know she was under his influence, Anonymous let out a long sigh of disappointment.
“Oh fine, party pooper.” He slowly made his way toward her until he stop to take a look at the file in his hand:
“Oh wait, oops,” he pretended to be confused, “wrong file. This is the one you just gave me; they look so alike I got confuse when pulling it out. My bad.”
He put the folder back to his pocket before pulling out the actual file that he had with him containing proof of an incoming dragon thread that the news station decided to keep a secret.
“I’m sure you can let your people know about this so they’ll be better prepared. The Bulwarks already got the information, so unless you want Emerald City to become a complete wasteland, better hurry up.”
He handed her the file with an unsettling smile. He can tell that Azoth isn’t trust him since he can easily manipulate her thought. As soon as he had the folder touched her hand, he keep a close eyes on her thought to see if she used her power right then. He might not be able to have the base-line that he wanted; he can at least still see the codes translating this folder in her head. He can still use that to help him translated those codes in the future; sure is a good think he keep a copy of this information back in his place, just in case. He then grabbed that file Azoth have in her hand with his other hand, making his face uncomfortably close to her.
“I’m sure you’re smart enough to put two and two together from those strange emails. Now, I’ll be taking that then.”

Azoth’s breaths became shallow as Anonymous got close. Too close. Most people she didn’t care - she’d been told by several people that she was ‘invading their personal space’ in the past. Now she knew what they meant.
She wanted to get this over with as quickly as possible. She’d already used her powers a number of times in front of him; there was little reason to fear once more. Once the folder was firmly in her hand, it vanished in much the same way the one under her arm had appeared. Information flooded her mind, an unintelligible mass of code, was how she tended to think of it, speeding past so quickly and in such quantity that Anonymous may as well be looking at a sheet of pure black printed paper. If one took a magnifying glass to the ink they would find it to be made of little colored dots; in much the same way, there was clearly meaning behind what was going through her head, but the actual information was so fine, not to mention encrypted, that it was all but invisible to the naked mind’s eye.
The information took a moment after the folder had completely disappeared to finish passing through Azoth’s mind. She took another moment, sorting that information, before she opened her eyes to met Anonymous’s.
“Your information is accepted.” She released her second folder, letting it fall into Anonymous’s hand. Her voice was quiet because of the space, or lack thereof, between them, but it was dignified. “This trade is complete. Farewell, Anonymous. This information is… indeed startling. I must begin preparations immediately.”
Azoth took three long steps backwards, pausing only a moment to let fog again swarm around her. Thoughts of the upcoming dragon attack were the only thing on her mind as she departed for home.

Anonymous chuckled at Azoth’s attempt to hide the little code inside her mind as he carefully observed them. It’s quite true that under the naked eyes, those dotted codes might as well be nonsense, but now it does gave him a little hint of how that power of her really work. His hypothesis from earlier was quite true indeed; this power of her can truly be quite useful, and so easily abuse that her keeping it a secret is quite an intelligent move. Decrypting those data might take a long time, but for Anonymous, time is all that he had in spade.
“Aw, don’t be like that, little Misty,” he shouted back at her once she let the fog envelop her once again, “I’m certain we’ll meet again very soon. I’ll save a day in my schedule for our proper chat, so look forward to it. We’ll have such a wonderful time getting to know each other better. So, until we meet again; in the mean-time, please enjoy my little gift to you.”
As soon as the fog enveloped around her, she would started to hear that carnival music starting up once again. The cheerful music blended with Anonymous’ laughter, creating a truly eerie feeling as Azoth made her way out of HappyWorld. Even when she departed for home, and the only thing on her mind is the upcoming dragon attack, she could still hear the cheerful carnival music echoing through her ears along side with Anonymous' mania laughter.
