Lobisomem flattened their ears as the women's scream rang out, sympathizing with the wolves that whimpered and shook their heads in confusion, I feel you, canines.
The snakes felt trival, most would hide somewhere and be found later and wouldn't bite as long as someone wasn't stupid enough to step on one, so they'd ignore it.
Now the civilians, they were worse than any animal! Getting in their way and interrupting their senses, "Shut...up!" They shrieked suddenly, taking satisfaction in the fearful looks and hands over the civilians mouths, peace and quiet, hello old friend!
They focused more on the footsteps their ears picked up, heading toward certain cages...felines. Their eyes shot open, and they shook their head in a motion to alert the humans before trying to weave through the crowds.

Siren cursed mentally as her scream did nothing to stop the wolves. She was hoping to get away with as little damage to the animals and enclosures as possible but it didn't seem good. She could even feel the gaze of her giant companion. He knew she was holding back too. And on top of that all the birds had been released. Dammit, all she wanted was a "free" day at the zoo is that too much to ask? She needed to change her tactics and fast. Perhaps surprising the wolves would be better then screaming for now. After all, she needed to save those for the idiots who started this mess! They were going to get an earful! Mentally she slapped herself, trying to get her to return focus to the task at hand. Returning the predators to their enclosures and restoring peace to the zoo. She was going to need a vacation in the mountains after this…

The valiant defenders of the zoo had made sound plans, but there was a stitch in these plans- and the stitch was cats! The wolves might be too confused to track Siren while invisible, but the sharp ears of Martin's minions certainly could, and they dove into the fray, moving to trip her up before she could appear where she wanted to.
Lobisomem, meanwhile, had seen the true source of the threat, and moved against the cats themselves! With impressive speed, the mighty monster moved against them, seeking to scare the fluffy hordes away from their quarry. However! With sharp senses and impressive coordination, the cats were one step ahead of Lobisomem, and by the time they'd arrived to roar and stomp about- they were answered by an even louder roar. The big cats were out! Leopards and tigers, huge and muscular and graceful. Unlike the other animals, they did not roam about in frightened confusion, but moved with purpose, heading as a pack towards the exit of the zoo. Martin had his prize, and now he aimed to get away with it in the chaos- a tactic Lobisomem was likely familiar with by now.
The mayhem might be dying down, as Titan moved to restrain the ordinary animals, but now the true goal of the nefarious Big Martin had been revealed! As the powerful predators prowled to freedom, there was but a small window of time in which to intercept and stop them- but would those who had chosen the side of order be capable of doing so, before it was too late?

Siren cursed again. This just wasn't her lucky day! Nothing was going right and she was quite certain these animals were ready to rip her throat out. To be honest after her performance she was right there with them. She left the wolves to her friend from the docks. He could handle them, there were other problems she could handle. A fluffy little creature caught here eye. What is a house cat doing here? Looking around she noticed they were bloody everywhere! It was like a cat sanctuary blew up in her. At that her heart sank and she mentally pleaded for what she believed was happened not to happen. A loud rumbling roar dropped her heart into her stomach. These felines were after the big cats and now one was out. Ok time for worrying about property damage was over! No more Ms. Nice Siren!

While Titan prepared to make his move, he noticed that the invisible woman from the docks was attempting to herd the wolves back to their enclosures. Unfortunately, wolves weren't the type of animals that would be corralled like sheep, and they could sense her even when she was shrouded in that strange cloak of hers. As they were poised to attack her, Titan realized he would need to make the first move to prevent them from harming her. He reached out and grabbed the nearest growling wolf in one giant hand. However, this gave them the opening to pounce, and the rest of the pack latched onto Titan with sharp teeth, tearing at his tough skin. Titan merely grunted in discomfort and decided to make the most of his situation. Since they were stuck to him, he simply strolled over to their enclosure and tossed them all in one by one before closing the gates and barricading them, like he did to the buffalo before them.
But Titan didn't foresee what was going to happen next. While he and the hooded woman were distracted by the wolves, the perpetrators had managed to fulfill their true objective; the wild cats. Lions, tigers, leopards and other assorted cats poured out from their enclosures, assisted by...smaller cats? This was going to be a long day, wasn't it? They were all making a beeline towards the exit of the zoo, and Titan moved to intercept them. No more playing around with kid gloves, these were dangerous predators that could hurt a lot of people, it was time to take things more seriously. He glanced at the hooded lady and nodded at her. They would need to do this together if they were to stop this craziness.

The noise of a low growl reached his ears, causing Muckraker's head to snap around to find the source. Of course. With all these sentient cats running around and setting animals free, he really should have expected the felines to be a priority in their eyes. He snapped another photo, never one to miss an opportunity, and lashed one hand outwards toward another set of cages. Another lock wobbled for just a moment, before seeming to collapse inward as it melted into goop. A lioness nudged open the cage door with her head, prowling out into the area as if on the hunt.
He had to keep his head down, hood up, and make every effort to avoid the supers that were now finally starting to zero in on the cats. It was in situations like this, easily overlooked and among the chaos, that Muckraker thrived. Or at the very least, made it far less likely for him to get hurt. Weaving between panicked citizens was like second nature, though he couldn't help but roll his eyes.
As far as he could see, none of them had been hurt just yet. The goal was to release the captives after all, rather than actively hurting the unpowered. As reluctant as he normally was about causing problems, this was just a bit of fun he could get behind. Sneakers racing against the pavement, he changed his route towards a nearby food stall that had emptied out.

Lobisomem snarled as various big cats poured out, claws and fangs glittering dangerously.
Shit, shit!
They backpedaled, ears flattened as they roared threatningly. They had to stop them, but they couldn't kill the things!

Muckraker's eyes flashed around the entire scene, taking in pieces of information and storing them away for later. The way the cats moved with a carefully guided will, the way the larger cats seemed to join in the mindset in an instant, the way every single member of their opposition tried and failed to fight back against the frenzy. A prowling lion seemed to zero in on the hooded girl, surely under the order of whatever outside force was pulling the strings here.
His eyes gave one last dull flash, using his higher vantage point to take what would likely be the heading photo for his next article. Sure not to leave anyone out, he included all three in the shot as they floundered. Whatever happened next, whether they turned the tides or not, that was a good picture to have in his pocket. It was a nice way to show the public who exactly claimed to protect their streets.
Hopping behind the counter, he ducked down so that only the top of his hood could be seen. Sometimes when you did all that you could do, you just needed to stay safe.

Unfortunately, the tide was too much for the trio, and they would soon be overwhelmed by the charging mass that made its way towards the exit of the zoo. Titan's blows missed, uselessly whiffing as the incredibly swift animals evaded the strikes. Rather than attacking him, the assorted big cats simply ran past the confused, lumbering giant and rushed towards freedom, presumably as they were commanded. As Titan looked around, the other two weren't doing so well. While the dragon-wolf had wrecked the exit in an attempt to blockade the cats inside, it didn't have much of an effect, as the agile predators managed to maneuver around the fallen entrance. Even the hooded woman's scream didn't do much to stop the horde. While it did have some sort of an effect, it just wasn't enough to stop this violent tide. As he watched her, he something poised to pounce on her. Oh God. Abandoning what he was originally doing, Titan rushed towards the woman in a futile attempt to save her...

No, nonono.
Lobisomem snapped uselessly at the passing animals, never really making contact with the damned things! They couldn't even use their claws, they'd kill the things.
They glanced over and saw their two new...allies, one about to be pounced on, the other about to defend her. Great, it was up to them to stop it, wasn't it!?

Somewhere, hidden within the panicked crowds, well away from the center of the conflict, Big Martin smiled to himself. This was going even better than expected! He was mere moments from victory, and the opposition was crumbling, unable to stop the escaping beasts. The girl with the screams would have her hands full with the lion, and the other two would be looking to help her- and meanwhile, the majority of the big cats would be slipping away, splitting up to hide in the suburbs where nobody was likely to find them all any time soon.
All you big boys and girls, move to escape! I'll cover your backs. You go where I told you to, and I'll pick you all up soon enough.
Time to bring this thing to a close. It wasn't quite over yet, but Martin's eyes were on the supers, and his mind was already issuing more orders to his cats. The lions and tigers and leopards were his, now he only needed to make sure they stayed that way.

(Choosing option 1).
The opposition struggled valiantly to the last, but by the time Lobisomem had fought their way through the horde of cats, it was already too late. Titan's attack forced the lion away from Hooded Siren, and it bounded off towards the exit, its escape covered by legions of its smaller cousins. Mere seconds before Lobisomem got through, it was out the gates, leaping across the car park and onto Laurel Boulevard, where with roads and buildings as cover it and its fellows would be all but impossible to catch.
The heist was done.
As if responding to some unspoken command (which was precisely the case) the smaller cats dispersed, running away in every direction to get out of sight and out of danger. They disappeared amazingly fast- so fast it was uncanny -and within moments, the supers were left alone with a few terrified onlookers and some escaped birds and snakes.
And two cats.
One dropped a brightly colored fish at Muckraker's feet. "Thank ya for the help, mister!" It rubbed against his legs, then padded quickly off. (A little investigation on Muckraker's part would reveal the fish to be one of those recently stolen from Central Market, a rare specimen worth over a hundred dollars).
The other sat down in plain view of all three supers, and hissed. "All three of you, and you still couldn't stop us. But that's what happens, when you mess with Big Martin. We'll let you go this time..." It glared menacingly. "But don't get in our way again."
Then its face went blank, and it looked around, meowing confusedly. Just an ordinary cat that suddenly didn't understand the situation around it.
Big Martin was gone, and this area of the city was safe again. For now.
