"No, I'm sure you'd remember me if I did," Minnie said with a shake of her head and a chuckle, "I had blonde hair back then. And thick, black nerd glasses. You were a brunette if I recall coreectly. Glad you changed it. The white suits you better."
Remembering her school days with an old classmate was an unexpected pleasure. She extinguished her dying cigarette with the bottom of her sneaker. No need for it if she was going to talk with people at length. Though a piece of her did mourn the loss of a good smoke. Oh, well. She was still trying to cut back to one a day anyway. Trying being the operative word.
"Thanks, it helps with work I suppose. I have to recall a lot of little details. What about you? Where has life taken the great Aiden Lenil?"
Noticing Alex leave, Minnie frowned. She hadn't meant to run him off. She just wanted to know why she remembered the Powder Head. Against her better jidgement she opened her mouth.
"Hey Alex, don't go. I didn't mean to focus just on Aiden here. I mean if you have to I guess that's alright but why don't you stay and join us? At least for a little while?"
She knew it was probably better if the guy walked off but he did start the conversation. It would be rude to just let him walk away without any invitation to stay at all. She stood up from her seat at the foot of the tree and dusted her butt off. The pinkette stretched and then smiled at Aiden.
