Something was wrong. When he made the janitor leave, for a second there it felt like Arcanum was tired. Almost as if he wanted to take a nap right here in city hall. That sensation of drowsiness was more of a concept lately, something that barely affected him most days.
Arcanum's eyes widened slightly before returning to his stoic expression. This must be the work of an enemy's power. Janitor man had an ability, but why would he use it on a guard and risk exposure? No, to begin with, the government wouldn't hire a super. He must also be here for something shady.
Well, as long as Arcanum found what he was looking for, he couldn't care less about what some random person wanted. It didn't seem like he noticed Unhallow down there, so there was no reason to neutralize him or anything. If they could avoid running into each other again, that would be perfect.
Speaking of Unhallow, the cracks they made would soon be obvious to other people. Right now no one else was in the hallway, and the security camera didn't appear to work properly. That, or the guy watching the cameras is sleeping on the job. Just to be on the safe side, Arcanum decided to seal the hole for now. Once again his shoe split off as a new one grew out of the leftover leg. The part that separated spread itself thinner and thinner, covering the gap as if a rug was placed over it. He took a moment to adjust the coloring so it matched the actual floor before moving on. Hopefully no one would try to step over there, or they would be in for a rude surprise.

After getting there and opening the door, Azoth had assumed her troubles of entering the room would be over. Normally that’s all it took to enter a room: get there, open the door, go in. The floor disagreed. Azoth had to quickly cling to the doorknob to avoid falling as the floor crumbled beneath her. Her breath caught in her throat as she stared down at what would’ve been a good ten foot drop to the linoleum of the floor below. Quickly, she made a sheet of light plastic cover the gap and set herself down on the now more solid footing. That had been close, as well as entirely unexpected; she didn’t see anyone around her who would be attacking her. Was it someone who could target remotely, without having their quarry in their sights?
Things had suddenly become more urgent. She now had to be prepared to be attacked, while also gathering the information and getting out as quickly as possible. Nothing could ever be so simple as “take things from the unpowered”, could it? Always there was someone to complicate things.
Azoth paced quickly into the room and unceremoniously began to remove the locks on and fling open the filing cabinets. Chunks began to appear in the papers; large swaths cut into the pages and folders. She was scanning for anything, any mention of Seaside, and as soon as she was sure the paper had little or nothing to do with it, she moved on. This was leaving hundred of case files, classified reports, and other things the city needed to keep but didn’t want the public to see half eaten, as though a hoard of very geometrically-minded termites had swarmed the place.

As soon as he saw the person in front of him split into two, a man and a woman, he could already tell what they were planning. Before he could get himself ready to fight back, another super appeared behind them sent one of them flying with just a wave of his hand. Unsure of what this new super is here for, but at the very least he’s a good distraction for him to quickly run pass them, so he took that opportunity to get to the archive.
Once he got to the door that was supposed to be block, he noticed the bookshelf was topped over, and he can see a familiar Keeper before him, trying her best to hold back the bookshelf falling on top of her.
“You know, Azoth,” he said to her as he returned back to his form, “if this is how you Keepers do their re-con mission, it’s a wonder how you managed to remain in the shadow from the public all this time.”
While Azoth is busy with her thing, Anonymous simply walked in and looked at one of the shelf that remained standing. Obviously Azoth doesn’t know how people organized the files in this mess; otherwise she would’ve found the information without turning the room upside-down. Good thing that Anonymous was used to how people put importance information with his multiple time sneaking in the news station. After some time looking over the title of the file, he picked out the one file that got the information he need and put it in his coat. Ensure that it is secure, he turned to Azoth with a wicked smile on his face:
“Tell your friend I said thanks for helping me. And if you want a share of this information as well, maybe I’ll be nice, but not here, and obviously not without something to trade in return. I’ll see you at our Happy place, kiddo.”
With that, Anonymous waved good-bye and walked out the room, quickly blend in with the evacuation crowd. Once he’s outside, he got back to the janitor’s van to return the card. After all, a promise is a promise, even if the person was out-cold. -- (taking option 3)

Well, Arcanum found the room everyone was looking for, but had no intention of setting foot in there. What was supposed to be a nice, quiet mission had apparently been interrupted by multiple supervillains. Already he had spotted the Wonder Twins, Azoth, the Terminator and that psychic asshole again. He could probably go all the way down there and search for some relevant information. . . or he could just walk away before this day gets even worse.
There were other ways to find out what he wanted to know. Certainly less convenient and would put in someone's debt again, but it should be a lot easier than getting past all of those people and the actual security that was bound to show up. He needed to cut his losses and get out before anyone knew he was there.
Anyone besides Unhallow, that is. It was too late to leave them out, but that tunnel of theirs gave Arcanum an idea. Returning to the mostly concealed hole, he jumped right into the underground passage. If he followed the way Unhallow used to get here there must be an exit somewhere. Arcanum picked a direction and slithered down the escape route. Hopefully this was the correct way to go.

Apparently the floor was the least of her worries. Azoth had to momentarily stop the destruction of the files in order to deal with her own tactic being thrown back at her. Slices appeared in the bookcases that threatened to flatten her, breaking them apart so they landed harmlessly in neatly cut chunks around her. Her own mess in the main archive was not enough to keep everyone out, it seemed. She was not surprised, however, to find the person who had made it here was none other than Anonymous. Five steps behind her, as before, but here. That was more than could be said for whoever else was here.
It was not a bad thing he had come. Indeed, as she picked back up where she’d left off with her work, she watched him do his own information gathering out of the corner of her eye. She didn’t bother with the cabinet he’d taken an interest in. Instead, she waited until he’d drawn a particular folder from it and placed it in his coat.
Azoth made her move. She dropped all the information that had been going through her mind from the other files and shifted her attention immediately to the folder in Anonymous's coat. For just a moment his jacket would lighten, but the weight would return as quickly as it went. If he checked, the folder would be exactly as it was, exactly where he’d placed it. With any luck, if he did notice, he’d blame it on another shift in the floor or his coat settling. Azoth was glad that, of all the aspects of her powers to grow, her speed in pulling off such a maneuver had been the thing to do so.
Azoth had not moved an inch while this had happened. Innocently, she went back to digging through the files with her powers. “Don’t talk to me.” She replied without inflection. She wasn’t trying to be rude; this was her automatic response to anyone who tried to interact with her while her mind was busy. Only once she heard his footsteps disappear in the distance did she stop.
Her stance relaxed. Azoth held out her hand and closed her eyes, and, forming from the bottom up, a folder appeared in her hand. It was an exact duplicate to the one Anonymous had grabbed, down to the last controversial detail. A wide grin came to her lips. “Sorry, Anonymous, you’re not going to one-up me that easily.” She said quietly to herself.
Her work done, Azoth made a makeshift door in the wall, surrounded herself with fog, and took her quiet leave.

In many cases, ignorance was bliss. This very much applied to Unhallow today. While they were a little disturbed at how much damage they were able to cause in the short time they were near the capitol building, that was the extent of their bad feelings this time. Ultimately, they had no idea why anyone else was there, or in some cases, who else was there. They likely thwarted some plot on the building based on the nature of this tunnel, so that was probably worth a few fallen bookcases and a couple of holes right?
Unhallow just followed the same tunnel going out as they did going in, not bothered that Arcanum appeared to be following them. There were no signs of the creators either, so hopefully it would be a smooth walk out.

''K, I literally still have no idea what's still going on sooo... We're just going to hit the normal people, right?' 'Yeah, normal people can't fight back so it'll be real fun!'
The man took his partner's hand, ready to turn into the fused form of Double Dealer, before being blasted out a window by a completely random force of whatever. The woman rushed out the window, ignoring the broken glass scratching at her especially after seeing her partner's wounds.
'Oh my God! Oh my God! Are you ok!? How bad is it!? You're all scratched up!' 'Don't worry I'll be fine. Nothing hit you right? Man, I forgot we're pretty fragile...' 'I am going to so kill whoever did this!' 'Wait up, I'm coming with you!'
The pair peered inside through the window, where the hell was everyone!? They rushed for the archive stairs, both going up this time, and this time they were able to enter. Unfortunately someone definitely beat them there, no matter where they looked, no interesting files revealed themselves.
'Ugh! Where is it!? We have to find something!' 'Not this one... not this one... I think we're too late, probably another Keeper, you know?' 'It better not be, or I'll kill them!' 'Obviously.'
With these angry agreements still in the duo's heads, they exited through the window the man got shot out of, heading back to the Keeper's base.
