Siren ran though the empty streets of Downtown. The vigilante was looking for something. Anything really. It had been awhile since she had done something heroic. Barring that stunt at the zoo. So tonight she was out looking for fun. Only problem was that it seemed the problems had been dealt with already. Lucky her. She stopped in an alley to catch her breath. Perhaps it would be better to call it a night. She had places to be the next day and being tired never got anything done.
That's when things began going wrong. Occupants of the alley she stumbled into were conducting some kind of deal. Drugs she would suspect when she thought about it later. Two large men looked up at her as a third cocked his gun. Fast forward ten minutes to the armed dastard chasing her through the alleyways after a shout knocked out his companions. "Now I just need to get the munchkin off my back and then call it good." She mumbled, taking a sharp left. Finding herself at a dead end she quickly hid herself. Times like this made her love being super. The little rat scuffled about, filling a can with bullets. Deciding he was gone she reappeared, sighing with relief.

"You should have just killed him and saved yourself the trouble."
Gilgamesh's voice came from above, the hooded and cloaked figure was crouching on the fire escape several stories up. His face shrouded by shadows but the feeling of his eyes staring right at her was unmistakable.
With a fluid motion he hopped from his perch, landing in a crouch in front of her on the pavement with ease. Standing up a small sliver of light from outside the alleyway would illuminate the bottom half of his face. His teeth bared into something that barely resembled a smile.
"Besides, it wouldn't do if people got us mixed up and you ruined my credibility."

Siren looked up towards the voice. Seeing the figure she placed a hand on her hip and narrowed her eyes. She preferred surprising others, not being surprised.
"See killing would have just been a bit messy. I don't want to have to wash blood out." She told him offhandedly. The hooded woman watched him with interest. Her eyes watching his fluidity with practiced ease. The reveal of his smile made her a little apprehensive. Nonetheless she did return a smile to him.
"They may confuse our hoods but clearly I have more assets than you do." She replied with a chuckle. She walked towards him, taking him in. His attempt at humor had almost put her at ease. However, he seemed dangerous. It was not the time to let her guard down.

"Worried about bloodstains?"
How cute. Her apprehensiveness was a nice touch as well. His smile remained, almost predatory as she approached him and he approached her. Slowly moving in a circle to keep her in his sights. And to maintain control over positioning as much as possible. He was careful to keep his head down and avoid any well lit part of the alleyway. It wouldn't do to let her see his face.
"Assets might be the only thing you have on me."
His tone was rough, low, but distinctly amused. Though that amusement didn't quite extend itself to friendliness. He'd jab a gloved finger at her chest, which if allowed to land would just jab into her roughly, but not violently.
"You got a name or am I just going to call you Hood?"

"Of course I'm worried. A lady has to take care of her ensemble." Siren told him with a smile. His predatory movements were elegant, graceful. Like a cougar coiled to pounce. Someone who was poised to attack like that was not friendly. At least not normally.
His retort about her assets made her laugh. He was quick on the draw, that was for certain.
"That may be true sir. Then again I'm sure we could come up with other things." She replied.
Was that amusement in his voice? Was he amused with her? She supposed it was better than the opposite but hearing it so distinctly in his voice was unnerving. He came forward, jabbing his finger into her chest. A little roughly but nothing that would visibly ruffle her feathers.
"My name is the Hooded Siren. Not the flashiest or the most inventive of names but it is mine. And what am I to call you hmm? I supposed the Cloaked Smile isn't your name now is it?" She countered, taking a slow step to the side.

His expression remained static when she said they could come up with other things. The implication was understood, but he remained unmoved. It took more than a nice set of assets to draw his interest, and he was not convinced that she had what he was looking for. Not with how she had handled the goons from before.
"Gilgamesh."
The Warrior King of legend. There was a strong note of pride as he stated his name, stepping with her to the side, his finger still pressed against her chest before flying upward quickly. If Siren was slow to react he'd flip her hood back with his finger. However if she did manage to stop him from revealing just who she really was he would simply laugh.

Siren noted the sense of pride the man had over his name. The Warrior King Gilgamesh. There where many myths about the original bearer of it. It held many implications. No matter the good or bad of these implications it was a strong name. Her eyes bore into him, hardened and unafraid. She could feel his finger press into her chest. The moment she felt the pressure lessen even the slightest bit she grabbed his finger.
"Well Gilgamesh, I would appreciate if you kept your hands to yourself." She told him carefully.
She then released him slowly before putting some space between them. She didn't trust this man, he was dangerous. It was definitely appealing to a point but she had no wish to die. Not today.
"Tell me Gilgamesh, how would you have dealt with them? Assault? Murder? Excessive property damage?" She asked.

"You gonna make me?"
He'd ask leaning in. His finger going to jab at her again. His tone shifting to a far darker and more dangerous one. He didn't like being told what to do. Nicely or otherwise. Especially by someone who he could almost certainly smash into the pavement. This time if the jab connected with her it would be enough to send her back into the wall of the alleyway.
"The same thing I do to all of those that I find unworthy. Crush them beneath my heel."
And with each passing second it was seeming more and more like this Siren was not worthy either.

Siren's eyes narrowed at the impetuous tone in ihs voice. So he was getting a little pissy becaue someone asked him to lay off. Wow what was he? Two? Younger probably. Seeing him move to stab her with his intrusive hand again she stood sideways. The amusement in the situation was long gone and now she was just annoyed.
"Are you seriously upset because I asked you to lay off? Nicely even. Wow and hear I thought someone with a name like Gilgamesh you would have enough wits to know when someone isn't being hostile." She told him snidely.
A cold feeling of dread crept into her spine again. However she had been pissed off and now she was not backing down.
"And who is unworthy to you huh? Someone who doesn't let you get your way? Wow and here I thought you were lacking in wits. Now its maturity as well." She told him putting a hand on her hip. She was not backing down and she could feel her voice building at the base of her throat. It wanted to unleash itself like it did everytime her emotions ran high. Only this time it was looking like she might let it.

"Big attitude coming from someone that can't stop saying Wow. Sarcasm is the defense of the witless."
He didn't follow up with her side step other than shifting so that he remained facing her. Unaware that she was building up her power in her throat. Though had he known he wouldn't have cared. Such a thing was only fair since Gilgamesh didn't have the handicap of needing to build anything up.
"Do you want to test yourself against me? Because the way you are holding yourself suggests you do. Even if you are deaf to the aggression in your voice. Because if you do, then by all means. Hit me with your best shot."
But if she did it was on, and he would make sure to hit her with his.

She blinked when he mentioned her overuse of 'Wow'. One moment passed in silence. Then two. Suddenly she laughed, full on head thrown back in uncontrollable guffaws. It was more than a little weird. Once would think considering how tense the moment was, it would quell any need for laughter. Yet here she was. Laughing like a fool.
"You're right I sound like a moron." she admitted as her laughter slowly died.
The power that had been building in her throat died down. No need to shatter eardrums or bones when one is laughing. Even his comment about her being witless didn't smudge the smile now on her face.
"Test myself? Why ever would I do that? I only do what suits me and fighting you doesn't suit me at the moment. At least not anymore." she told him.
Amusement had slipped back onto her features and seemed as if it would be staying there awhile. Perhaps long enough to turn this tense meeting into a more memorable one.

"Then perhaps we are done here."
He didn't feel the need to attempt to flip the hood again, the novelty had worn off. And if there wasn't to be a fight then he had better things to do. Standing around in an alleyway chatting with some random nobody wasn't his idea of a good use of time. Though to be fair standing around in an alleyway talking to anyone felt like a waste of time to him. Not when he had his own agenda to look after.
He'd turn his back on her as she laughed, she could find it amusing if she wanted. Hell, she could laugh all night if that's what got her going. But unless she had something to make her company worth his while he would walk back out of the alleyway before leaping to the roof with a powerful jump.

As the force of her laughter died, Siren waved dismissively as he turned around. There was no need to continue to interact with such a pushy and short tempered individual. Then again, an errant mischieveious thought crossed Siren's mind. If she wanted to give him the attitude adjustment this Gilgamesh so desperately needed, now would be the perfect time. His back was turned and she could go invisible. Glancing about the alleyway she made sure to take note of any puddles. Once the area was embedded in her mind she turned invisible. The best way to knock him down a few pegs would be to remove his hood. Silently she walked up behind him, her hand reached up and tugged hard on the back of his cloaked head.

Gilgamesh's ears almost twitched with the shifting of cloth against cloth, nearly silent footsteps of someone likely trained in obfuscation and stealth. If they hadn't been alone in an alleyway perhaps he would have brushed it off. But the timing was to perfect as he left the Super. Typical cowardice from their kind. Even with all of their power they always seemed to resort to sneak attacks. It wasn't enough that the deck was stacked in their favor to start. He'd scowl as his body whipped around when the nearly silent footfalls got close. His right leg kicking outward as his leaping body spun in a fluid motion. He was expecting a blow and was tensing his body to harden it in preparation. What he was not expecting was a hand up to flip his hood back revealing his face. Whether she went flying into the wall of the alley from the blow or found a way to block or mitigate it he would glare at where he believed her to be as he shifted into a fighting stance. "If you think I'm going to cover my face and run away because you flipped my hood then you made a dumb bet."

To say the kick was unexpected was an understatement. The moment it made contact with Siren's stomach, it's sheer force slammed her againset the alley wall. God damn that was going to hurt in the morning. Sliding down to her feet it took her a moment to regain her senses. In that moment of weakness she released her invisibility. She looked up and studied his newly unveiled face. Handsome, in a way. However, attacking someone for a harmless prank definitely took away from his attractiveness.
"I expected you to have a mask underneath your hood but you have more balls than I thought. You must really not care if anyone knows your face then Gilgamesh." she commented, dusting herself off.
She stood there as he got into a fighting stance. Did this guy have no chill? A simple flip of the hood and he wanted to fight?
"If a prank gets you this mad I'd hate to see what would happen if I insultedy your mother."
