"Good." She nods, decision already made. "It'll be nice to see it again." No it wouldn't. It may be 'home' on a functional level, but for Valkyrie, that was it. With everything in place, she started to walk off in the direction that would get her there the quickest. not even looking over her shoulder at him when she spoke. She knew Gil could hear her just fine.

He'd raise a hand as she started to walk away, waving her away dismissively. He wasn't in a rush to go home now. Last thing he wanted was to put up with her all night. Though when she found Limen there... That could end messy. It was probably best to at least give her a warning so she didn't rip out Limen's throat.
"And don't freak out at the other girl in the Dojo. She's not a squatter."

Whatever, indeed. It was a sentiment they could both agree on. She slows, but doesn't stop at the warning until he finishes speaking, then turns slightly to raise a brow at him.

"Yup. And if you rip her apart before I'm done with her then I'm going to take it out of your hide."
He said with a grunt as he turned around, arms folded over his chest again. His stab wound oozing and throbbing in protest. His body didn't want him to keep acting tough, but he wasn't exactly known for listening to his body when it was telling him to knock it the fuck off. But as long as Limen was under his wing she was his responsibility. And while he wouldn't jump in to save her from fighting her own battles.
Valkyrie here though, that wasn't Limen's fight. That was his, and he'd be damned if he was going to let this bitch use her as a weapon. He didn't play that way. And he was going to make that clear right from the get go.

For a moment, Valkyrie can only stare at the back of the man she knew, then burst out laughing, a full sound that cut through the night while sounding suspiciously like a cackle.
"An apprentice already? Aren't you jumping the gun a little?"

He grunted. She wasn't wrong. But it was what it was.
"She's a disciple now. And that means she's mine."
If she wanted to make an issue of it, well this was her chance. Bonus was that he was still weakened and injured. The downside is they'd just seen how that worked out for her. But it wasn't like she'd be able to revisit this later randomly. So as far as he was concerned he had won this matter. Until The Master showed up that is, but he'd cross that bridge when he came to it. It was too late to turn back now anyways.

Oh, she definitely was going to, even if Gilgamesh wanted to leave it as it was.

Technically all three of them were. But throwing that out there caused some problems to his standing. He glowered at her, smoldering with rage as his hands gripped his arms tightly. She'd win this round, he had to admit it. All three of them were. It was the only way to stay involved.
"Yeah, we all are. But she is mine."
It was about as strong as calling dibs. But that and the threat of violence against her in retaliation was about all he had. But it would have to do. If he had already passed the final test and was awarded with the title of Master then there'd be nothing he could do about it. A Master didn't interfere in a battle between disciples. But other disciples....

"I'll keep that in mind." Valkyrie grinned at him, a sharp, toothy smile that promised his days of peace were over. And this disciple he'd taken a shining to? She'd have to see just what the girl was made of, in more ways than one. Sure, Gilgamesh could threaten violence and try to warn her off, but the rules had clear lines and many assumptions.
Maybe she'd be staying longer in Emerald City than she'd originally planned.
"Have fun brooding, Gilgamesh." She waved him off and continued walking away. "Try not to sprout mold or anything."

He didn't budge in position or posture with her smile, but he could feel his blood boiling. This is not what he wanted at all. He was fine with how things were going for him right now, he was moving at a good pace and he didn't have to deal with her every freaking morning. Now she was going to be there just poking and stabbing at everything. Every morning when he woke up, every night when he went to bed. Plus she'd probably eat all of his food.
This was just a bundle of problems. He'd let her leave without retort, he didn't want to give her that victory, or the satisfaction. But when she was gone, and he was sure she was out of earshot he'd turn around and curse as he sprinted for the edge of the building. Some unlucky gang banger was about to have all of his teeth knocked out. He needed to vent some frustration now.
