Geata took note of the shape approaching the group before he entered his portal. If he remembered correctly, it was the woman who was watching over the heavily injured super during the dragon fight. She made clones of herself, Geata recalled, and that meant that there was a strong chance of the information being taken before his group had a chance to take it themselves. Sadly for the girl, he wasn't about to let that happen.
"We have company here," he said to Azoth quickly. "Of the powered persuasion, I mean." He had no doubts that she would know how to handle that, after all, it seemed like she wasn't new to the task by any means. Of course, that meant there was even more pressure on him to not screw everything up.
He really hoped his new plan wasn't about to do that.

Arcanum had a hard time seeing through all of the fog, but its existence confirmed that an enemy super broken in to the same building. Of all the days they could have possibly chosen, why did they have to show up today? Oh well. There had to be more than one super that could create mist, but the odds of her guess being right were too high to ignore. She needed to be sure that it wasn't a certain someone hiding over there.
The fog nonsense appeared to weaken slightly, which provided an opportunity to confirm her suspicions. Not only was the toddler crawling around here, but she brought Sparklepuss and some portal guy along too. Dammit, of all the Keepers she knew, Azoth was probably her second least favorite. Sure, they barely interacted with each other, but it's not like it took much to get on her bad side. Every time this kid showed up, something would go wrong and Arcanum always went home empty handed. This operation seemed more likely to fail now that Arcanum knew who she was up against.
For now she merely shook her head before melting back to the floor, sliding along a different path than before. No use following them directly if they are going to hop around with a bunch of portals. The better strategy still involved finding the information before they did. If everyone was headed for the same place, they'd surely pop up again.

Sanduleak was thankful that he went ahead and created clones as he received info that they were already being shot at in a more than successful fashion. He understood that these men were trained, but they seemed to be too well prepared for supers but not enough prepared if they had received precog help. Which meant they were dealing with enemy super if the sudden failing fog told them anything. Of course they couldn't just have to deal with simple soldiers. That'd be much too easy.

Azoth stepped through the portal after Geata. Not a moment too soon; another shape had been approaching in the fog. Judging by the lack of shouting, gunfire, and solo nature of the figure, set along with that they’d been willing to approach supers, chances were high that was, as Geata had put it, someone of the powered persuasion. This was going to complicate matters.
Mentally complaining to herself that every time she tried to sneak in somewhere there were supers trying to stop her like there weren’t other, more destructive people they could be bothering. As soon as she was through the portal, fog again began to encase them.
“It seems so.” She agreed. “Keep moving; the sooner we’re out of here, the better.” She was already walking down the hall, unperturbed by the confused guards behind them. They were no longer a threat. After all, with the barrel of their guns cut and clattering to the ground, what were they going to do?
It would be the third door to their right. Azoth didn’t bother trying the handle first. Anything holding the opening side of the door to the doorway was severed and, pulling the door open, she stepped inside. Computers and filing cabinets filled the room. Several workers and several more armed guards stood up with her arrival, panicking or shouting predictable lines. Hopefully this would be over quickly.

Anonymous smiled as soon as he arrived at the place; completely unguarded, Azoth isn’t anywhere in sight. He opened the door and made himself at home, locking the door behind him and then turning on the computer inside. As soon as he managed to get in using one of the worker’s username and password, his radio spoke up again:
“Situation report: our weapons had been compromise, and they’re now multiplying their copies all over the facility. Our security systems are down, and we’re under heavy resistance.”
Anonymous smiled; dear old Azoth is up to her old trick once again, making used of her own power and making quite a mess as always. He picked up the radio:
“I read you loud and clear,” he said in his fake voice, “back-up is on their way, make sure they don’t leave that room with sensitive document.”
With that being said, Anonymous focus his attention back at the computer monitor and begin his work. Even if Azoth make her way to the hard copies of the information, the data should still be on the computer; all he need to do is hacking in the restricted file and he’ll obtain the same thing as Azoth did. He’s not much of a computer hacker, but with the military guard’s information in his head, he doesn’t need to be one.
In the meantime while he worked on this, he linked up to the security system of the building in order to gain access to most of the security system. Azoth clearly cut off the camera inside the room, so he couldn’t really see what they’re doing in there. But to be fair, with all the dumb fog that she keep bringing out, seeing is the least of his concern. Right now, he simply need some time to get inside the restricted area, and what better way to kill time beside making the situation harder for dear Azoth and her team.

The Human Lite-Brite made a bunch of clones for some reason Arcanum didn't quite understand. Hopefully they weren't supposed to stop her or anything, because she easily slipped past their running legs. She had to slow down and travel along the walls for a moment, but soon enough she was free of the distraction.
If tricks like that were the best they could come up with, Arcanum liked her odds of success. At this rate it might be possible to ignore those guys and still manage to find the information she wanted. A voice in the back of her head tried to warn her about being too optimistic. Vague feelings such as hope and faith usually only led to greater disappointment down the road. . . but for some reason, she didn't feel like worrying this time.
Arcanum followed the sounds of fighting, hoping to run into the other supers. Since they seemed to know where to go around here, she might as well tag along for now. She could easily slip ahead at the last second and eat whatever they were after. Good luck trying to turn that back into something useful without her reading it first.

Azoth regarded the Keeper who had stepped out of the fog. Sin Eater - someone she didn’t have much personal experience with, and thus was not keen on seeing presently. Unless she’d discussed with them prior, out in the field, Keepers were almost more often her enemy than her ally.
“My information is always available for trade later.” She said dismissively, walking further into the room.
She scanned her surroundings. The majority of the workers had just gotten up from a large computer control panel, the sort with a ceiling-high screen and likely a five-layer password protected hard drive. One stumbled out of the couple of filing cabinets that reached as high as the screen. Hard copies were easier for her to use in the moment and, in general, were preferable to the mess of wires and data of a hard drive, but the aura of officialness of the computer hinted that it was more likely to contain the secrets of this place than some dusty drawers. Azoth ignored the baseless threats of the unarmed security guards and walked up to one of the keyboards.
“Sanduleak, since Geata’s scouting, cover me. I don’t want to be interrupted.”
Before she could get into the computer, however, she felt an odd tingling in the strip of exposed skin between her gas mask and large goggles. Curious, she took a bit of the air. Nerve gas, a different one than the one she’d been outputting when she first entered the building. Were they trying to use her own attacks against her? A feeble attempt, really, and a poor tactic against a group who were all wearing gas masks. This would only serve to slow her down a little.
All the air within two meters of both her and Sanduleak was almost instantly cleared. Sanduleak might feel a moment of air pressure chance before everything went back to as before, save for the air no longer stung bare skin. The other people in the room were left to their own devices to deal with the gas. If the itch returned enough to bother her, she would do the same again. An annoying tactic, but one dealt with easily enough.

Geata was going door to door, figuring that anything locked would've been more likely to be containing super secretive secrets. So when he exited a portal to catch just a glimpse of a guard enter a room before locking the door, his curiosity was peaked.
Dealing with the locked door the same way he dealt with the others, he simply entered a portal on either side of it, bypassing the door altogether. Seeing the guard at the computer and hearing what he said, Geata smiled.
He was pretty sure he just found the right place.

Azoth's dismissal only seemed to encourage Sin Eater. Her tone was patient but optimistic. "I'd be delighted to trade for it right now, in fact. You're in dire need of a lesson about what happens when a fragile little thing like yourself goes outside without suitable bodyguards."
As Azoth walked into the archive, Sin Eater turned her attention to Sanduleak, a super she knew by reputation. His wounds from the fight against the dragon, still severe despite the signs of healing Sin Eater was able to detect, shone like a beacon to her power. She continued to speak as if addressing Azoth, but her eyes were looking straight at the man before her.
"Your current protection is... insufficient."
Sin Eater's power picked up the effects of the nerve gas on the people around her before her mundane senses did. She began holding her breath to prevent the worst symptoms from taking hold. As for the itching, it was so minor compared to what she endured on a regular basis that it hardly even registered. She simply smiled as she readied her next move.

"Got it Azoth"
Sanduleak nodded before staying at the door and seeing the new keeper member enter the fray. Sin Eater was someone he heard bout through reputation, always attempting to keep up with Keepers, and being annoyed by her. She was a healer and also apparently knew injuries so why was she- oooooooooh shit. Well like hell he was allowing her to pick him out because of some old wounds.
"I'd prefer you not refer to her protection like it's not standing here, thank you"
He crossed his arms a bit stubbornly, and prepared to move the moment she attempted something against either his 'client' or himself.

Azoth let out a yelp of surprise as she felt something crawl up her leg. Quickly, she cut her powers and struggled to maintain the last of the information running through her head. She couldn’t afford to lose any of it. She’d only gotten about the first third of the hard drive, she realized as she attempted to shake the slimy goo that’d crawled into her pants (while making a couple of high-pitched yelps and grasping at the thing in her pant leg like she had a very large spider crawling on it).
At least this hard drive would no longer function - what with the top third missing and all - but there were still other computers in the building. The map had said just such. It meant that, if she had messed up this one, she still had more opportunities to find more, but it also meant if the three of them were chased off, she wouldn’t be able to hold the third she’d gotten for ransom against Arcanum and Sin Eater.
As much as she wanted to just gather the information and leave, she couldn’t concentrate like this. Something was going to have to be done about her opposing faction members.

Huh, Arcanum and Azoth weren't the only Keepers breaking into the same building. For whatever reason Sin Eater felt like showing up, as if this night needed to get any more complicated. Something about that girl always bothered Arcanum, but most supers in their faction had that effect. At least the other white haired Keeper was only bothering the competition right now. Hopefully she would stick to playing with the other children while the grown-ups were busy working.
With the distraction attempt proving to be a success, Arcanum allowed herself to be flung from the girl's baggy pants. The remains slid out of the room and back to the main body waiting outside the door.
As far as she knew, the sprinklers did not have a reason to turn on in here, but reality said 'no, it shall rain on all the computers'. Light bro's creations might be a little warm, but not hot enough to cause the system to think there's a fire that needs to be put out. Maybe that one kid with the portals pulled an alarm somewhere?
Arcanum casually absorbed the water droplets that fell on her body while she planned her next move. The wetness would most likely ruin the equipment in this room soon enough. At least she didn't need to worry about getting wet herself or drying any clothing ever, since it was all made out of her skin anyway. Otherwise she'd have to complain about whoever set it off.

"Oh, I wasn't talking about you," Sin Eater replied to Sanduleak with an apologetic smile. "With all the wounds I'm sensing on your body, I'd classify you as more 'liability' than 'protection'. No, I meant your teleporting friend. His day is just now getting a whole lot worse. Are you sure you can afford to have a pointless standoff with me here?"
She looked past Sanduleak, into the room Azoth had disappeared into. Judging by the sudden uncertainty and discomfort emanating from within, things weren't going terribly well for Azoth herself, either. The situation was about to get even more interesting.
