Geata was, once again, out and about with little to do. Considering how last time he had come to the area he had met an interesting sort of person, he was hoping that this time he would meet somebody who would actually be willing to talk to him. As much fun as he had meeting lil miss Rainbows, maybe meeting somebody nice for a change would do him some good. He wasn't the sort to buy heavily into 'bad vibes' or similar stuff, but he doubted so much negativity was doing any good for his health. If only because of his nerves.
He was sitting on the roof of a warehouse, watching, waiting, sure that if he was patient enough he would find someone interesting. Of course, being patient ID always easier said than done, especially when being patient is the means to a valuable reward. Of course, there was nothing wrong with cheating a little, so far as the bored super was concerned. He started to nod off, sure that something loud would be accompanying anyone of note.
It didn't seem like anyone in the city actually knew how to avoid unwanted attention.

Gilgamesh was the nicest. The nicest person perched on the water tower at least. Scanning over the docks, what had become his domain. Listening for the screams of terror, the sound of sirens, the discharge of weapons. Anything to make his night more interesting. Anything to give him that thrill and set fire to his veins. To make him feel alive. But the night was quiet, too quiet. Perhaps it was the city healing from the Dragon's attack, or perhaps it was just the stars aligning for a night of peace.
Whatever it was, Gilgamesh did not like it. He did not belong in a world of peace, not even for the night. He was a creature of violence, of strife. Of pain and fear and unbridled rage. His nostrils flared as he exhaled in frustrated annoyance. The sight of a man on one of the roofs of the warehouses the lined the docks had caught his eye for a moment. Normally he'd let something like that go as beneath his notice. But there was a gleam in the light. Possibly metal? A mask.
Which meant he was either a super, or a super wannabee. Either way, his night was about to get much more interesting. He'd straighten up from his position before flexing his legs to get the blood moving even as he opened the gates to his Qi to strengthen and bolster his muscles. Then he'd leap from his position on the tower toward the nodding off masked man.
A sneak attack however was not called for. A landing in front of him was however. He wouldn't strike the man from the shadows like Valkyrie. He'd face him head on. Man to man.

Geata was almost to the point of snoring when he awoke suddenly to a large thud directly in front of him. He snapped awake and hopped to his feet, though to do what he still hadn't decided. When he saw the guy standing in front of him, he couldn't shake a felling of familiarity. Maybe he had been at the dragon fight, Geata mused. If that was the case, which Geata suspected, then it was likely the man in front of him was a super. Which, given said man's aggressive stance, was probably not good.
With a sigh, Geata stretched out. Given his abilities, an actual fighting stance was not needed except in emergency situations, but he wanted to be prepared in case he was reading the situation right. "I don't suppose you're willing to talk this out?" he asked the man with a yawn. He doubted he'd get much of a response, if any, but it was always worth a shot. He wasn't really in a fighting mood, but he was resigned to it. What were the odds he could get away from another super anyway, really?
Honestly, though, he was just a bit sad that he couldn't meet one single nice person.

At least he woke up quickly. He shouldn't have been sleeping there period, but he'd give him credit for leaping to his feet. Better than lounging about and taking his sweet time. That would have annoyed him even further and put him in a real foul mood. Though the yawn sent a white hot needle of rage behind his right eye.
"Talk about what? The Super loafing about in my neck of the woods?"
He hadn't taken up a fighting stance yet. But his whole body was wired and ready to move. His blood was already pumping and he could feel hatred and Qi coursing through his veins. His vision becoming sharper, his muscles becoming stronger. His whole being ready to snap into action to obliterate whatever was in his path.

"Well, you could just ask nicely and I'll leave," Geata said jokingly. He doubted it would happen, but, once again, always worth a shot. "I wasn't meaning to intrude, I didn't know the area was already under protection, so to speak."
He could tell he wasn't talking his way out, no matter how hard he tried. It was disappointing, but not unexpected. He finished prepping himself for the inevitable fight. "I don't suppose I'll be able to at least crawl away after this, will I?" he asked resignedly. He wasn't willing to put any money on him winning the fight. The man before him had the air of one who was used to combat. Geata most certainly didn't. He knew his best chance was just in running, but if that failed, he was completely screwed. Better to try and hold his own and limp home than lying in a puddle of his own blood.
"Let's go ahead and get this over with, I suppose." He still didn't take a stance, but it was apparent that he was prepared, if unwilling.

"Alright. You can go."
He'd motion away with his head. If the guy was being sincere, joking tone or not then this was his chance to walk away and Gilgamesh would let him go. He wasn't going to just kill someone that wasn't able or going to put on a fight. Not for something like this. No aggression, no threat. And worried about crawling away?
He'd get nothing from this fight. And like that his interest in it was lessened dramatically. Tonight was just going to be one of those nights for reflection it seemed. Maybe meditation. Cause a fight didn't seem to be in his future. At least, not a fight worth having.

"Wait, what?"
Geata just stood there, stunned. Did he just hear the other man correctly? Is it possible that he was able to just walk away from this? No, it had to be a trick. Right? "Are... are you serious? Really?" He was utterly dumbstruck. He honestly couldn't believe it.
He started to laugh nervously, out of relief and amazement. "Why?" He didn't understand, simply put. The entire mood had changed in an instant, and he couldn't help but wonder what had caused it.

"Did you want me to reconsider?"
Because that could totally be arranged. He had no problem fighting the guy if he was going to insist. And Gilgamesh wasn't exactly used to giving in to groveling only to have that questioned. But it was already ticking him off. The guy should probably just take him up on that offer and bolt before he changed his mind.

Geata ran his hand through his hair nervously as he considered his options. "Alright, fine, I was just asking," he said quietly. "You want me gone, I'm gone." He opened a portal on the ground and gave a small wave to the hooded man before stepping through.
He exited atop a rooftop not too far away, but fairly tall compared to the other buildings in the area. He did his best to stay quiet, but anyone with a detection power or superhuman hearing would be able to know he was still around. It wasn't that Geata wanted to get on the guy's bad side even more. He just had a reason to come out here and was wanting to see it through as much as he could.
While stealth wasn't impossible for Geata, it wasn't his forte on his own. He was resigned simply peek over the side of the roof to look down at the other person. He felt ridiculous, and he really hoped he wasn't spotted.

He'd let the Super go. If he wasn't going to fight then there was no challenge. And he wasn't in the habit of picking fights with innocents, super or otherwise. His talents and skills were not something to use as a thug for no reason. They were there to hone in on a goal, whatever goals he set his sight on. But they were tools for a job, not toys.
Unfortunately the night was quiet tonight. A night of peace and calmness even in the depths of the city. And so he'd have to turn his energy inward. With his intruder run off Gilgamesh would place himself in the center of the building that he now resided on, sitting down cross legged and bowing his head in silence as he began to seek his center.

It didn't take long for Geata to understand how his night was most likely going to go. He sighed as he felt the boredom creeping in. It was going to be a long night, he could feel it already, but he still didn't move from his vantage point. He had come to the area that night to hopefully learn a little about another super. Even if it meant sitting for hours watching another guy sit for hours, he was going to go through with it. In fact, Geata was going to at least take notes on the other man's form for future use. He wasn't unaware of the benefits meditation supposedly had, he just never felt like he had real opportunity to give it a try. Until the day he was going to be sitting on a roof watching another guy sitting on anther roof, that is.
He did his best to mimic the super's position exactly, wondering if it was actually important if he sat a specific way and quickly deciding that it was beside the point. He sat there, motionless, trying to clear his mind of negativity. He did so for several minutes before he was rudely interrupted by his stomach growling. With a sigh, he hung his head in defeat and resigned himself to simply keeping an eye on the other man while promising himself that he'd try again after he ate something. Until then, though, he watched the man in as much peace as his stomach allowed him. It was going to be a very long night.

Meditation like this was almost second nature to him by this point. It wasn't hard to slip into the calm space, distancing himself from everything external. Centering himself in the moment. Blocking out external distractions but also becoming hyper aware of his immediate surroundings. He was more than content to stay that way indefinitely, and should Geata continue to watch him would note that other than breathing he didn't seem to move at all.
Gilgamesh was undistracted by things like hunger and thirst. Itching or whether or not the roof of that particular building was comfortable or not. It didn't matter as ship horns blew in the night, or the wind picked up. He was like a living statue, channeling his energy inside of himself on the path to enlightenment.

After a few minutes, Geata finally accepted he wasn't going to be learning anything besides how long the guy could stand to just sit there. As interesting as that would be, the masked super was fairly certain he could find something better to do. Like eating.
He debated on shouting his name down at the guy, but decided against it. The man likely wouldn't care, and it would only reveal that he had been sitting there. With a sigh, Geata dropped through a portal. First order of business? Food. After that? Who knows? The night was still young, and quiet as it may be, that could always change in an instant.
