When it came to the answers that he did have he liked to hold them out and pull it back, let people work for them. Because things that are just given have no value, and lessons lectured were rarely lessons learned. In his heart he considers himself a teacher for humanity, a guide for this crazy adventure they call life. And while he will be the first to admit his methods are not the most direct or even the most effective he'd say that they were his, and at the end of the day that is all that mattered to him.
Freedom is important to him. At least his own personal freedom, he knows it's not for everyone but he'd sacrifice almost anything to remain free. As seen by his lifestyle. No attachments, nothing chaining him down to any city, any home, or any life. He lives a liberated life, able to move from place to place and do what he thinks is best without worry or care. He doesn't need to sweat the small stuff like bills, or food, or life and death. He already knew everything would work out, he was just along for the ride and to help guide life along the right path.
