The park had been relatively quite for the last few days after the dragon appeared and attacked Emerald city. After that people were initially afraid to come outside for fear of their safety. Eventually many were able to leave their homes and even return to their normal activities. After a week, people have been returning to the park, taking out their families and having a good time, even to celebrate the defeat of the dragon. Many however were still blaming the supers for the dragon attack.
Despite this the normal population decided that it was indeed safe to return to the park. However they will see that it was probably a bad idea at this very moment. A few families were out having a barbecue, food being unpacked and placed on the table to be cooked. It was then the people in the park noticed people running past them and out of the park. Those that hadn't fled yet wondered what the fuss was about.
Before continuing on with their cooking they heard a snarl and quickly looked up to see a lion heading towards them. This lion looked especially hungry as it eyed the meats on the table. As it came forward the family by the table immediately back tracked and made a run for it.
Normall the lion would've ran after the people running away, but why would it do that when there was perfectly good smelling food coming from the table? An easy meal sounded more appealing to the creature then trying to chase down a moving target. The lion hopped up on the park table and started ripping into packaging and eating away at the raw uncooked meat.
Following the suddenly Lion's appearance was that of a woman, a rather short woman with white hair and light purple skin. She dressed in a rather flashy and regal manner, a childish pout plastered across her young looking face. She checked her nails and loomed over where the lion was and where the people had gone.
"Hmph, ungrateful peons. You ask for a pet cat and I give you a pet cat. It's not my fault you didn't ask for a domestic cat as a pet."
The woman then left the lion in it's place and decided to leave the park. She still had five more wishes to make for the day before she would suddenly black out once again. She found it strange, whenever she would black out she'd awake in the strangest places. A bedroom, a school, the bathroom of a coffee shop. She would've loved to wish her own trouble away but she already knew the consequences to the wishes she makes.
Instead she opted to find another person to make their 'wishes come true'. By the entrance of the park she found a lone person standing there. She wasn't sure who or what they were but they would have to do. She then started to make her way over to them.

Jack was sitting in one of his more profitable spots this day, right across the Viridian Park. It was a good position, many people had left over food and on a day with good weather their mood was usually high enough to drop him even a coin or two. Today was such a day as the sun was shining from its cloudy throne in the sky and the recent dragon attack has been slowly pushed from peoples mind as the weeks went by. While most people were running around in shorts and loose tshirts or hawaiian shirts, Jack was sitting on a small piece of cardboard and sweating in the woolen blanket that was covering most of his body. His hood prevented the bright sun from reaching hist face and only a few blonde hairs were peeking from under it. The young hobo however cared neither for the heat nor for the sweat that was covering his body like a second skin. Instead he was watching the shoes and flip-flops of people passing by with somewhat of a superficial interest, wondering about their daily lives and thoughs. Coicidentally he himself had a single boot standing in front of him, looking at the young man with the most taunting look that a featureless object could muster, despite having no expression whatsoever. His silent thinking was briefly interrupted now and then by a single small coin falling into the neck of the boot. With little interest he raised the shoe to his hoodie and looked inside. Four'n a halfa dem bits... Iffit goes'n like tha', i might gemme a bun later...He slurred silently, without much concern for anyone who might hear him. His right hand lazily rattled the shoe as a small family rushed by him withhin few inches distance, which earned him a pitifull look and another little penny. With almost something like satisfaction, Jack leaned back against the cool wall and pulled the hood even deeper into his face. His right hand scratched his left shoulder and adjusted his blanket before it simply dropped mid-action and came to rest on the ground next to him. I s'ppose i could nudge Ol'Jerrik fo some work later. Might gemme a bun or two a dem for nuthin... The thought of getting two buns and being able to buy some ham or cheese to go along almost managed to lift his spirit for the day. Suddenly he heard a shout and the stomping of many many feet. More by coincidence than true interest did he manage to throw a quick glance at the scene before him. The family that had passed him earlier had now apparently left the park in more than just a hurry and was running towards the nearest public transport station. The bright sunlight was stinging in Jack's eyes, but even so he could see that they had apparently left behind all sort of goods. He slowly raised into a straighter position and blinked slowly twice. He could now see more people leaving the park, most of them seemingly scared and not few on their phones, wildly gesticulating. Jack's well trained instict for a good opportunity forced to stand up for the first time in hours. He yawned silently and pure habit made him lean forward to appear smaller than he really was. Even so he was still taller than most of the people around him. I wonda iffits some oh dem buggies again... little creeper, stealin in broad daylight... However as he approached the main entrance he could hear some sort of animal cry, and his trained mind immediately recognized the lion. For a few moments he hesitated, and thought about ignoring this chance for a feww meal but before he could finish this thought he had already reached the gates. His blank face looked over the abandoned parkarea and he saw several unfinished plates, aswell as the lion that had been making all the noise and a small girl, seemingly unbothered by the wild animal. He felt some sort of surprise rising from deep withhin him, barely enough to be expressed on his face, yet still notable.

Avarice yawned as quickly entertaining this was, now it was starting to bore her, the people had already left the park, save the for the person that was just at the gates. Guess they noticed everyone running off and went to investigate. They would find that this may have a grave mistake on their part because now Avarice's glowing eyes were fixated on them. They appeared to be covered up with a hoodie, she couldn't even see the other's face. They also seemed to be taller then her, well most people were taller than her, however looks were deceiving and most people would experience first hand when it came to Avarice, to make a long story short she packs quite the punch.
Well with no one else around except the person standing at the gate, she decided she would make her wait to the poor sap. A small smile crept upon her lips as she walked over to them. Avarice seemed to walk with the air of a aristocrat. Even the way she dressed, it was over the top. Something the other could note off the bat. And last her light purplish skin, her glowing eyes, her snow white hair, these were red flags to the other that Avarice was not human. That maybe they should leave, to get away from her before something terrible would happen to them.
The clicking of Avarice's heels became louder as she approached the other, she could barely catch a glimpse underneath the other's face. The shadows seemed to be much more darker under the hood then she expected. It was interesting to say the least.
"You look a little lost there my friend. Do you need something?"
There was a gleam in her eye, she was up to something. She was debating whether to see if she could get the other spill their desires to her so she may wreck havoc on them....or to talk. She didn't do a lot of talking because people just didn't seem interesting enough. But this person, this man? She did not know what they were specifically, however they were far more interesting then anyone she's met today.

As soon as the girl had seen Jack standing in front of the gates she quickly started moving towards him, ignoring the lion completely. Now that he focussed his attention on her, Jack rapidly noticed several unnormal features about her. Firstly, her skin was not pale as he had initially thought, but rather almost purpleish, secondly, her eyes seemed to reflect more light than was hitting her face, making it seem almost as if they were glowing and last but not least, her hair seemed to be coloured white. Somebud's been a naughty lil' girl, eh? Real Punkbugger, ya're... Against he threw a quick glance across the park; most people seemed to have left in a hurry. Except the girl. By now the girl had come close enough to allow Jack to observe her face more clearly. There was a certain spark of arrogance aswell as curiosity showing on her face. The young homeless had seen that expression more often than he could count, that subtle desire to peek under his hood. Not one day went buy where not a kid or random adult tried to get a closer look at his otherwise so obscurred face. Lost, eh? Might'a been just so... She was standing close enough for him to reach her in a few quick steps should he want to. Could jus' twist off that lil' precious head'a yours... Jack tensed as he noticed his powers slowly trying to sneak past his mental barriers and rapidly reinforced his control over them. Four'n a halfa dem bits... Iffit goes'n like tha', i might gemme a bun later... The question the girl had asked him felt fake, like a worm wiggling on an iron hook. However Jack couldnt see a reason not to answer it honestly, after all even if she were to have the powers of a super, she was standing well withhin reach and he was confident he could tear her apart before she could use whatever abilities she had. He blinked twice and regained his control again. Now that's annoyin... wonder if thats her doin'...? His thoughts drifted towards the lion that seemed to be fully content with gorging himself on whatever unfinished meals the visitors of the Viridian Park had left him. It seemed natural enough for his trained eye, but how did it end up in the park without anyone noticing? A bit off'a penny would be nice, lil'miss, iffit aint a bother...

The purpled skinned woman noticed the look on the other's face, he noticed that somehow he was being forced to answer this question somewhat. That's how Ava's powers worked, when she asked what people wanted they would have to tell her. She wasn't sure what was the extent of her powers only that she could grant people what they wanted but the wishes would turn god awful at some point. And as much as they pled and screamed, wanting her to take them back...she simply over looks them. Even if she wanted to she didn't know how to take back only to give out. Strange for the personification of Greed. She found it upsetting that someone would reject someone given to them. She couldn't explain it but deep inside her she hated the idea of being rejected.
A smile crept on her lips. She really couldn't understand what the young man said at first, but she did know what a penny was. It was money, he wanted money. Money was and still is the root of all evil. Humans have done horrible things in the name of the mighty dollar bill. It was one of the basis of greed, money was like a god to her. A sweet sickly smile was now plastered onto her face. This would be a lot more interesting then she though.
"A penny? Could I give you a penny? Yes, I could give you a penny. I could give you several pennies, I could give you hundreds of pennies or I can give you something a lot more then just a flimsy penny."
She noticed that the man's eyes tracked back to the lion behind her she backed away some so that he could see it for himself. At this point the lion was fed and was now sleeping on the table.
"Do you like him? Because the little girl that asked for him certainly didn't."
Avarice huffed, technically the girl wished for a pet cat but the other didn't need to know that just yet.
"I can give you whatever your heart's desire. What ever it is, it is all yours..."
Her voice was now sultry, dripping with her power to manipulate desires. If Jack didn't have any means to protect himself from the power, he might find himself feeling strange. That whatever she was saying sounded like a good idea.
"Anything in the world, name it and it's yours....however I ask only one thing in return. I want you........to sign for it."
She whispered, and she soon manifested a contract. One that she asked all her patrons to sign. It was just something that she could show them later when their wishes went awry. They could not really blame her because they willing signed their name away for it. She wondered what the other would do now. She looked at him curiously, his face still shrouded so she could not gauge if her powers were working. She'd have to wait for him to respond.

Jack was silently eyeing the woman after asking for the penny. She seemed normal enough and as far as he was concerned nothing special was happening that would somehow betray her powers. Apart from that damn feelin i cant put ma fingers round. So goddamn unlikable... He looked down at her and noticied a weird smiley creeping on her face. I wonde' what she thinkin bout' he mused, especially since her face had a weird expression of thought or maybe disbelief on it. Suddenly she started speaking, offering him pennies without end and her voice spiked a little bit as she did. Something about her certainly seemed off, though Jack couldnt wrap his head around it. Instead he focussed on the lion that was now lying on the table, content and fed. His stomach growled lightly in response to the sight and once again the young homeless felt his emotions rise and swirl around inside. The girl was now getting increasingly excited, rambling about desires and wishes and whatnot. Jack eyed her cautiously, feeling his mind twitch with several thoughts at once. At the same time he could feel his body move underneath the wide blanket that was still covering him as his instincts woke. Anythin' eh?.. Slowly and without hurry he folded his legs underneath his body and sat on the ground in front of the girl. His face was now slightly lower than that of the girl in front of him. Suddenly he noticed the contract, a lonely piece of paper, appearing from thin air in her hands. That must'a been her... The hood dropped deeper, hiding his face entirely as he focussed his eyes on her feet. I want... In she shadows and hidden from view by his hair a frown appeared on Jack's face. I dont know what i want... Pictures of his parents, his house, his... arm and several more appeared in his face, moving rapidly from one to another.
