In some ways, Blue Jay missed the days when he could practice his powers in old abandoned lots and they’d be small enough that no one would notice. When his strongest shockwave took down the wall of a 7-Eleven, not an entire building if he wasn’t careful. Those had been a nice simple few months; stopping small crime, fumbling around because he had no clue what he was doing. Now he was shooting shockwaves across a small inlet in the docks because last time he practiced on something solid he’d left a crater in place of one of the lots wrecked by the dragon and the police hadn’t been too happy about that. Water was the best punching bag he’d found thus far (besides shooting directly up into the sky, which police weren’t to happy about either) mostly came back after it was hit with a shockwave. He’d found this particular spot last week. Back, out of the way, usually unvisited by even homeless people or illegal goods dealers due to an old factory that was way past its last legs. Before the dragon attack, one could safely bet they had ten steps before a floorboard gave out beneath them or a heavy piece of machinery decided it liked them quite a lot and wanted to get more acquainted. After the dragon attack, it’s already delicate balancing act had become a last-ditch effort to stay at all vertical. Last week, an accidental shock wave had finally put the place to rest. There hadn’t been enough time since the factory had become trail mix for the residents of the docks to realize the place had actually become safer, and since there was a nice little strip of water, deep enough and sized for bringing cargo ships into the small port, that was a little more hidden away behind other factories. It was the best place he knew of thus far to repeatedly slap with the strongest waves of force he could summon. It was a pain, but it was something he had to practice. Doing something for the first time during a dragon attack was not a good plan for success. Blue Jay stood atop one of the neighbouring buildings. His stance was wide and his mind focused on the sword in his hands. It’d been several minutes since his last shockwave; enough for the water it sent up into the air to finish returning as rain and drizzle, and for the waves that had slapped high up onto the wooden piers to die down. He was taking his time preparing for his next. He didn’t know how many he was going to be able to fire off - two thus far - before someone took notice and got mad at him, so each one had to count. Blue Jay took a deep breath and swung his sword downwards. A wave of force erupted from the edge of the sword and shot towards the inlet. Where the attack met the surface the water split, taking on a gash almost as deep as the docking port itself. Waves rose far beyond the edges of the dock, high enough to reach the lower of the neighbouring rooftops. Then, the water rushed back towards center and threw a second, higher surge into the sky. The air grew misty as flung water fell onto the docks. He stepped back to avoid being splashed - as though he hadn’t already been rained on a good bit - and waited for everything to again settle. The dock need so much work to repair, that’s all Giza know when he got back to the hoard. It’s seems that some annoyance Keeper decided to interrupt Miss Aurora’s attempt to clean up the dock a little while back, so now there’s more work to do. She told him to go over this side of the dock in order to see what damage the dragon does. Once he got to where he supposed to be, he sighed from boredom; everything doesn’t seems that much worse from how it look before. Just when he was about to turn back, he heard a slight recognizable pitch and a loud splashing sound inside a building few feet away.
Turning himself invisible, Giza quietly make his way inside the building to confirm his suspicion of who that might be. Once he arrived at the boating area, the sight of Blue Jay standing there with his sword out confirmed his guess. Giza let out a wicked grin beneath his ceramic mask as he checked the area to make sure there’s no one here to interrupt him.
He waited for Blue Jay to let out another familiar shock-wave straight into the water below, splitting the water and spraying its vapor all over the room. Seizing this opportunity, Giza raised his right hand and started to concentrate his power on the water vapors. The vapor near Blue Jay started to congeal into multiple long sharp ice spears that flew toward him with high speed. Two of the spears aimed at both his feet, nailing him down on the ground while the other combined together to form a cage around him. As soon as Blue Jay is trapped inside the cage, Giza revealed himself as the water vapor on his side spread like Moses spreading the Red Sea.
“Well what do we have here?” he said with a smug, “A little bird that never learned to fly.”

Blue Jay knew it was going to be sooner rather than later that his attempts to drench the sky were going to get found out, and whoever did was not likely going to be willing to just talk it over, but he hadn’t been expecting his opposition to come immediately following his shock wave. Most certainly not unannounced; most supers and police at least had the courtesy to shout a ‘hey you’ before attacking. Blue Jay had hardly any time to notice the spears from, let alone get out of the way. His reaction time was so that he jumped upwards in reaction to the blades going for his feet, of all the odd places, but this only spared one. He let out a yell of pain as the spear bore into his left foot, perhaps somewhat drowned out by the sound of the second crashing into the spot where his right hand been not even an instant before.
Reflexively, Blue Jay teleported back. He didn’t displace; rather, he completely vanished from the spot where he’d been pinned to a location about a foot backwards - and hit the finished caged as he tried to take another step backwards. The sudden appearance of the ice behind him made him have to catch himself, and this spiting foot was not helping with the attempt. His right hand shot out behind him to try to grab onto the ice behind him to steady himself and his other raised his drawn sword up defensively in front of his chest. He searched for the source of the attack, but he didn’t have to look long.
“Giza?!” This wasn’t good. For whatever reason, this Pandaemonium had decided he hated Blue Jay’s guts. He’d said, last they met, that he wanted him to stay away from Aurora, but why anything he had to do with Aurora had anything to do with Giza was a mystery to Blue Jay.
He pulled himself back onto his feet, standing gingerly on the pierced one, and teleported again. He appeared about a yard away from the edge of the cage. Keeping his stance wide, he raised the sword so it was horizontal before his chest and rested his right hand against the cloth guard that covered the first five or so inches of the sword’s top edge from the hilt. Blue Jay’s brow lowered. “What do you want?”

Even though the first spear missed its mark, the second one managed to strike right into his feel. Blue Jay’s scream in pain is almost smoothing and satisfying for Giza to hear; it’s just nice to hear their biggest rival to Miss Aurora’s attention cried out in pain like this. The sight of him teleporting out of the cage he made out personally for him is not surprising, seeing how he did it in person before. Giza simply melted the ice away as he drawn the water toward him, forming four floating ball of water orbiting around him:
“I believe I warn you to stay away from Miss Aurora, Birdy Boy. Yet here you are, lurking around the dock, outside of your territory. Are you hoping to come across Miss Aurora by stalking around this area? Pretending that it’s simply a coincidence you “bump” into her? You think that I’ll simply let you saunter around the dock all-mighty and such?”
Blue Jay can’t see what behind the ceramic mask, but right now Giza grind his teeth in anger while giving him the death glare that could send chill down his spine.
“Well consider yourself warned, because now…I guess I have to keep the end of my promise!”
Once he finished, Giza pulled his left hand back as soon as he managed to focus his power on the metal support beam behind Blue Jay, drawn the metal beam heading directly at Blue Jay’s hand to knock his sword out of the way and into the water below. Once he heard the clang of metal hitting on metal, Giza lunged forward with his other hand, throwing the floating water spheres straight toward Blue Jay. Once they get close, the four spheres will split apart and turned into sharp dagger made of ice, keeping their velocity. If what he guess is correct, without the sword on his hand, Blue Jay won’t be able to teleport out of the daggers’ trajectories.
Either way, he’ll end up with more than just a measly fresh-wound on his shoulders, arms or abdomen. Killing Blue Jay now would be quite simple, but Giza want to make him suffer as long as he can, so all his daggers aimed for not dealing any lethal wound, but they would hurt a lot where they’re piercing through his body.

His confusion translated into his expression. “That’s some grade A conspiracy theorizing there, Giza, and I honestly think you might have a bit of an obsession with Aurora. What I’m not sure about is why you’ve drug me into it-”
Blue Jay heard the creak of shifting metal behind him. The corner of his eye caught movement. The beam didn’t register as that until he’d already turned and swung his blade to counter the large metallic projectile, catching the front face of it against the edge of his blade with inhuman speed. The blade bore into the metal, digging several inches into it despite the bulk of the force of the impact coming from the beam’s momentum.
The first of the daggers dug into his shoulder. In order to counter the beam from behind, he’d spun so his back faced Giza, and that’s where the blade had struck. Blue Jay gritted his teeth, trying not to let his stance falter. The next of the daggers entered his leg.
Blue Jay teleported again. The final daggers flew past where he had been and the sliced metal beam hit the ground with a heavy crash. One of the three - the barrage of daggers had come so quickly, he’d only had time to react to avoid the last of them. Two in the shoulder, one in the leg. His blood ran warm down his back and leg. The cuts weren’t so deep that they’d pierced anything particularly important, but his movements stressed the injuries.
Drawing in a breath, he turned to face Giza. He didn’t know why the magician was attacking him, and with this much ferocity. Blue Jay had nothing against Giza, but if he was inviting a fight, he couldn’t expect him not to fight back.
Blue Jay displaced. The movement was instantaneous, and when he reappeared, he was inches from Giza’s face. Bringing the blade over his shoulder, he swung at Giza’s upper left arm with almost blinding speed. Then, once blade had entered flesh, he would let out a small shock wave. The force would blast at the cut and push Giza with about the force of if Blue Jay himself had tackled that one spot on his arm.
The injuries Giza had given him left him unbalanced after this maneuver. It happened fast enough that the strike would be finished before he could set down his left foot, and when he did, pain shot through his leg and he had to suppress a grunt of pain. His shoulder burned with the swing. He hoped the shock wave, not even close to the amount of power he’d shot at the water had Giza been watching previous, would be enough of a bluff to get him to back off. Blue Jay did not like the prospect of continuing this fight given the amount of damage Giza had already caused.

The one good thing about this power he got is how it’ll try everything to keep him alive in any way it can. As soon as Blue Jay teleported around and suddenly appear so close to him and drop the bladed edge of the sword straight at his right arm, his gold ring glow slightly as multi-color handkerchief came out of his sleeve and wrapped around where the blade of the sword touch. The handkerchief absorbed most of the damage of the blade before it leaved behind a skin-deep wound on his arm as the shock-wave blew him away from Blue Jay straight into the metal wall of the building.
It took quite a few moments for Giza to finally gather his senses back and get himself out of the wall, leaving an indentation behind. The wound on his right arm started to bleed out of his sleeve, so the handkerchief started to wrap themselves like bandages over the wound to stop the bleeding. It sting like crazy, but Giza tried his best to handle the pain without showing it out using his body language.
“Fucking finally,” he exclaimed to Blue Jay, “if you decided to pussy-out of the fight, then this won’t be a fun fight!”
Wrapping his cloak around him, Giza let out a thick white smoke cover his entire body. As soon as the smoke dispersed, Giza already made himself completely invisible out of Blue Jay’s sight. Silently moving around the building, he pulled out a deck of card and began to focus his power onto them. Hidden out of sight, he hurled his cards straight at Blue Jay in two waves, one after another. The first wave cards turned suddenly into slippery oil coating Blue Jay’s whole body; if his nose isn’t broken from the fight, Blue Jay could smell a sense of gasoline that the oil gave off. As soon as he realized what might happen next, the second wave of cards exploded right at his face; the spark from the explosion would lit up the oil coating and set Blue Jay ablaze.
“Hope you don’t mind the summer’s heat, it’ll put anyone On Fire!!” Giza laughed maniacally while maintaining his invisibility out of sight.
Joking aside, Giza paid close attention to how Blue Jay holds his sword in order to make a plan to disarm him. If the oil didn’t cause the sword to become so slippery to get a grip on, then Giza need to look for another way to remove the sword.

The stench of oil was one of the worst things one could smell during battle. Getting said oil on you was stage one of ‘you’re screwed’. Blue Jay visibly flinched when he was coated with and realized he was coated with oil, his eyes growing wide. He knew what was coming next.
He shot off a single shockwave - horizontal, fired wide in his best guess as to where Giza had wandered after his disappearing act. The wave ripped into the walls of the building, tearing at concrete and steel across the entire span of the wall. It was because of this moment spent attempting to retaliate that he did not get out of the way before the fire lit the oil.
Blue Jay yelped and raised his hands reflexively to guard his face. His feet moved unconsciously, displacing from the spot where the fire exploded an instant before. But the bulk of the damage had already been done. Blue Jay reappeared above the water, off balance and backwards due to the odd positioning of his displacement, and still on fire. He hit the water with his back.
The cold sea water offered some relief to the smaller burns on his right arm, lower chest, and right leg, but his right shoulder, which he’d turned to take the first of the fireball, felt nothing. All of the clothing on that shoulder, his hoodie and t-shirt, were entirely gone. Patches of the rest of his outfit, mostly on his right side and centered around his shoulder, were now cinders. His cuts stung with the salt of the water.
He allowed himself only a moment to breath - or to not breath, as he was submerged below the still lightly wavering water, but to recover from the sudden fireball and jump. He swam to the surface, taking a gasp of air once he breached it. He began paddling back to the edge of the docks so he could get his arms up onto the wood and pull himself out.
Through this, Blue Jay had still maintained grip on his sword. It was the one thing, above all else, that he needed to do. It'd become so ingrained in his fingers that he’d been knocked out with the blade still in his hands before.

Giza smiled in triumph when he saw his cards explosion does it work flawlessly. As soon as the smokes from the explosion finally clear-out, Giza heard a splashing sound from outside the building. It’s seems that Blue Jay just teleported outside the building to run away, possibly also putting out the fire, rather than stay behind and fight. So Giza quickly made his way out of the building in order to look for him.
After spending some minutes looking, he eventually found Blue Jay lying on the edge of the dock unconscious. Most of his super costume got burned off from the flame, his unconscious body got limp, yet his other hand still tightly clutched the sword. Giza checked his vital; Blue Jay is still alive despite the damage he took all over his body. He sighed in relief that he didn't kill the super yet; looking at the unconscious Blue Jay, Giza felt kinda sorry for the guy.
“Well, better be safe about this,” he said to himself as he tried to pry off the sword from his hand. Even if Blue jay is unconscious, he's still feel uneasy seeing the sword still in his hand. After all, Giza feel like both him and Blue Jay shared a similar fate: they both are bound to the objects. Trying as he might, the grip is so strong that it took Giza almost five minutes to finally get one of Blue Jay’s fingers off the sword.
“Bloody hell, talk about having an attachment to your weapon. Guess I have no other choice.”
Giza then pulled the unconscious Blue Jay out of the water and carried him into the building they just have the fight to get away from prying eyes. If Blue jay decided not to let go of his sword, he figured that the quickest way to take the sword away from him is to sever the hand entirely. Looking around to make sure no one around, Giza picked up the severed metal support beam and flattens it with his power, turning it into a make-shift bonesaw. Once it is ready, he place the jagged blade right bellow the wrist joint on the sword-clutching hand
“Don’t blame me if this hurt; you should have heeded my warning and stay away.” He said to the unconscious Blue Jay, “you only got yourself to blame for this.”
Giza closed his eyes; he usually doesn’t have much of a stomach to do something like this. Heck, seeing how badly Blue Jay’s injuries were enough to make him feel nauseated. He took a deep breath and repeated to himself: “It’s just a hand” over and over to reassure himself of what he about to do.

Even though she sent Giza to look at some of the less traveled areas of the docks so she would have more time to take care of other things, her own business finished up much more quickly than expected. Everything was far from stable, but people knew what to expect and what to do now. It meant she didn't have to spend nearly as much time micromanaging everything, at least until she had to be a substitute for heavy machinery and vehicles. That was not needed right at this moment however, so she was able to also look in the less traveled areas of the docks to see if she could snuff out some more rats, whether they be literal rats or metaphorical ones.
Because of that goal, Aurora wasn't flying through the air as usual. Instead, she was on the ground, the metal parts of her boots in her aurora instead of on her feet. She still wasn't exactly quiet, and her aurora was still bright, though its brightness was at least tempered by the fact that most of the light was blocked by the tall buildings throughout the area. There wasn't much out here besides old abandoned warehouses and the occasional decrepit factory, neither of which were exactly small. It was the closest thing she could do to stealthing when she didn't want to drop everything in her aurora. At this point she had gotten so used to dealing with rats that she could handle them running. There was no need to try too hard.
On her way through the area, she heard a distant voice and she was quite certain that she heard her name. Something about lurking around the docks too. It sounded like Giza. Did he find something? Aurora quickly changed her course and started running at full speed in that direction, still staying on the ground and keeping her aurora behind the buildings. As she got closer, the voices got clearer. Something about a promise? What was he talking about? She heard a second voice that didn't take long for her to place at all. She had talked to Blue Jay enough that she could recognize that voice anywhere. Conspiracy theories and obsessions about her? At first she thought she might be mishearing, but no, it sounded like the two of them were talking about her. Then suddenly there were sounds of a fight, and Giza screamed something about being on fire. She didn't have a full picture of what was going on, but it wasn't too hard to guess the important parts. They were definitely fighting, but about what? About her? That seemed absurd and unlikely, but they were definitely talking about her. What happened?
Auroa's eyes narrowed and she took to the sky to get there faster. Just as she was getting over one of the buildings she was behind, she saw Giza carrying an unconscious figure into a nearby building. Given the context, she somehow doubted he was helping him. She was able to close the distance quickly, given she didn't have the heavy metal parts of her shoes on to weigh her down. She opened a hole in the side of the abandoned factory, crashing down onto the ground in front of it. The sound of her arrival paled in comparison to the volume of her voice.
"Giza, what the hell are you doing?" she yelled. "When I said to look around here for suspicious activity this was not what I had in mind!"

Consciousness came back to him swiftly. It was not like waking after being knocked to the pavement by a car or on the head with a large rock, where he had a couple seconds of daze to slowly come back to. This was water burning in his lungs as he snapped awake to being unable to breathe. Blue Jay didn’t notice the pressure on his left wrist, or that he’d been drug from the water, or that there were other people nearby. All he cared about was he had water in his lungs and he needed to get it out now.
He clawed at his mask with his right hand, chest heaving as he attempted to cough up the water, only to have most of it blocked by the thing that kept his identity secret. Like that would matter if he went and drowned. His hand found the strap below his ear while he rolled away from Giza onto his side. The sword’s blade dragged loudly against the concrete floor as he drew his arm towards him, not letting go subconsciously more than anything else, and he got to his knees. He fumbled with the strap until it loosened, not caring if anyone saw the lower half of his face. He lifted his mask over his eyes and forehead and vomited.
His breaths came back in long shutters. The air stung his throat, but at least it was air. Blue Jay spat out the last of the sea water and settled back to sit on his knees. His sword felt heavy and unbalanced in his hand. It was the same feeling he’d gotten that night after he’d been hit by a car, the one that had stuck with him for almost five days after that night. Meaning, if that experience held true, it wasn’t going to be working for him at all. Of course. It’d gone, what, a full week without teleporting away from him, or dropping in unexpectedly, or firing off shock waves that didn’t do anyone any good. It had some catching up to do and now, after he’d been dunked in the ocean after being attacked by Giza, was the perfect time to do so. He’d stopped expecting anything less.
He’d become aware of two other people - thus why he had kept his mask pressed to his upper face - but it wasn’t until now that he could place them. Giza, obviously, but the other he’d run into enough to identify by voice alone. Aurora, of all people, had shown up. Blue Jay lowered his mask back over his mouth and held it in place, blinking and squeezing his eyes to try to get them to focus in the sudden light and after their waterlogging. Maybe she’d be able to explain what the hell was up with Giza trying to kill him out of the blue in her name.
The scene before him cleared. He had been brought from the water, it seemed, back into the building where they’d been fighting earlier. Aurora and Giza were present as he had expected. Giza was unexpectedly close, and in his hand was what appeared to be a- saw? Blue Jay’s eyes widened.
“The- the hell were you doing?!” He coughed, parroting Aurora with more than a little surprise and hoarseness.

“Oh, Miss Aurora,” Giza turned quickly to the direction where he heard her voice from, “I-I didn’t notice you were coming.”
He didn’t realize that Miss Aurora finished up her work over at the slum so quickly. There were a lot of thing that need to be rebuild and such, so he figured it would take her at least a day of work to maybe finished it. Yet here she is, probably coming over to check up on him when she finished with her work. In a way, he was glad that she show-up; he didn’t think she genuinely care about what he was doing. After all, she did just send him over at the dock to look for anything suspicious without really bashing her eyelash.
But now she’s here, Giza feel all fluster up once again. He couldn’t look at her directly, thanks to a certain teammate who pulled some perverted stunt. Every time he take a look at her, that stupid image always flash before his eyes, and soon everything just become too awkward to handle. When she told him to get over at the dock earlier today, he couldn’t even gave her an assertive answer; all he can do is stuttering his response and make the whole situation uncomfortable.
“W-Well, I…I found t-this B-b-Bulwark s-snooping around our t-turf, s-so-”
He didn’t get a chance to finish his report to her when Blue Jay started to cough the sea water in his airway, ruining the whole mood of the situation. In a matter of second, he started to vomit all over the floor; talk about being a disgusting pig. Lucky for him that Miss Aurora came by the way she did, otherwise Blue Jay over here would have went on living with a missing hand. He then looked at the bonesaw he held in his hand as soon as Blue Jay finally stop puking:
“Disarming you, duh. You hold on to that sword so tightly that I figured I cut if off in case you wake up and started to swing them all over the place again.”

"Obviously. I doubt you'd be taking a fucking bone saw to someone's hand if you knew I was here," Aurora folded her arms. "Drop the idiot here and step away."
Aurora kept her eyes locked with the eyeholes in Giza's mask to make it clear this was something he could comply with. Quickly. She had no love for Blue Jay, but this was just excessive. He was in bad shape already, certainly no shape to be fighting in. There was no reason to leave such a permanent wound in all likelihood. Her expression flattened when he started throwing up. Definitely in no condition to be fighting here.
"See, when I said suspicious activity, I meant that you were supposed to be looking for threats. Blue Jay hardly qualifies as a threat."
She kept her arms folded and started looking between the other two supers. It didn't take a genius to figure out what happened here, but the reason for the fight still eluded her. Aurora heard her name a few times, but it just left her more confused. It was a shame she couldn't make out most of the context of the conversation. There was only one way to get to the bottom of this. Her voice was stern, but not any louder than usual, and much softer than it had been a moment again.
"Both of you, explain what happened. Now. I heard my name mentioned."

Blue Jay blinked, letting what Giza said sink in. His hand shot to his left wrist, as though to confirm it was indeed still there. “You were going to cut off my hand?! Giza, what the hell?!” What kind of finishing move was that supposed to be? He’d already gone and lit him on fire and Giza had known he was knocked out if he’d dragged him here. He’d won, as much as Blue Jay hated to admit it. Was that not enough for him?
He was going to ignore Aurora’s comment about him not being a threat. He also chose to ignore the blatant difference in Giza’s voice when he was talking to Aurora versus him. “I was just practicing my powers out here where there aren’t any people to bother when Giza came and attacked me out of nowhere. Then he said something about staying away from you before shooting at me with daggers and metal beams, and then he chucked gasoline at me and lit it on fire.” He shot another glare at his previous advisory. “And apparently he thought it was okay to take a bonesaw to my wrist while I was knocked out because my lungs were full of water.”
He looked down at his ruined hoodie and shirt. This was more than a bit of stitching was going to be able to fix. He really hoped the same would not be said about his injuries. A thin line of red was trailing from him to mix with the very wet floor of the dock house and subside into the gently lapping water. His head was feeling the beginning of the blood loss; not bad, but it could get worse if nothing was done. He considered taking off his hoodie and using that to stop the bleeding as it was all but ruined anyway, but it was also soaked in seawater.
A simpler solution occurred to him. “Aurora, you’ve got a first aid kit, don’t you? Do you mind?” His words came out a little sharper than he meant them to, but he felt the situation was cause for a bit of aggravation.

Giza gave Blue Jay a threatening gaze when he asked Aurora for a first aid kit. Seeing him treated her as if he’s her best friend only make his blood boil even worst than before:
“Hey,” he shouted to him, “you don’t ask Miss Aurora for anything unless you beg for it on your knee. Know your place, Bulwark, you’re trespassing over our turf. So disarm yourself before I ”
Once he said his fill, he took a long deep breath to calm his nerve. Right now, he couldn’t even get to the same level of frustration from earlier; he still pissed at him, but Miss Aurora is here, and he needs to keep his image as best as possible:
“Miss Aurora,” he turned to her and said with as calm as he can be, “the reason I attack w-was because every time he’s near…you, you always got in trouble. I-I mean, you got shot because of him. S-So when I ventured out to the Downtown area to…cool my head, I gave him a warning to not going anywhere near you. But since he didn’t listen to my warning, I decided to teach him a lesson.”
Of course that isn’t the entire story, or even the full details of the situation back them. Giza kept some of the situation that drawn him to why he came to the downtown area to the first place, even keeping the fight to himself. After all, if she knew about him lashing out of Blue Jay because of him losing his self-control, it would make explaining the full thing very…awkward. Especially the part where Lust does her crazy move that only make his little imagination gone wild that he curse himself for ever think of Miss Aurora like that.

"Shut up Giza. I can handle my own affairs," she folded her arms and narrowed her eyes.
Aurora didn't mind Blue Jay's tone in the slightest. She didn't believe in politeness or social niceties, so foregoing that to ask for something was perfectly fine by her. Rather than moving herself, her aurora rolled forward, reaching out like a brightly colored hand. Most of the aurora stayed behind her still, it's not like she needed to move the entire thing to hand something over at such a short distance. The rolling fog stopped right in front of Blue Jay, and a small box materialized from it and dropped onto the ground. A moment later, a hail of bandages, disinfectant and the other items from the kit started pouring into it, including some more obscure items that were really only meant for very specific circumstances. Given she wasn't limited to carrying what she could hold, she didn't hesitate to take things along because it might be useful later. She doubted he needed most of it, but he should be able to find what he needed.
Once they were both done explaining their stories, Aurora started to pace back and fourth, disappointed that she didn't have the metal parts of her shoes on to accentuate her steps. It didn't take long for her to realize what the problem was, and it made her expression flatten. She continued pacing with her arms folded as she spoke.
"That seems to be a recurring problem here. First, your statement isn't even accurate. I've run into Blue Jay many times, most of the time our encounters go quite well for me. Our encounter with the police as very much an anomaly. But even if that wasn't the case, that is not something you get to decide for me." She stopped, turning on her toe to face Giza directly. "I can handle my own problems. But most importantly, if your goal was just to keep him out of here, why didn't you just drag his limp, useless body out of here? Why are you lying to me?"
