Aurora made her way back to the stage as quickly as she could given the circumstances. The entire left side of her body was throbbing from the one attack she took, and she probably should have taken a moment to materialize the sling she kept in her first aid kit to prevent her arm from flopping around uncomfortably. On top of that she was carrying a fairly heavy man along with her, with one arm since the other one was probably broken. Despite that, her aurora trailed across the sky, arching upward much like a rainbow.
Once she reached the stage, she landed on it with a loud, metallic clang, the impact hitting her a bit harder than she expected it to. Aurora flinched, but continued walking towards the center of the stage. Once there, she ungracefully dropped the mayor off to the side and turned to face the crowd.
"I'm not here to give a lecture Giza," she sighed. "Everyone! There is no point in trying to get along with people like this! It doesn't matter what you do, the unpowered people will never love you, they will never accept you. It doesn't matter if you risk your life fighting off a dragon destroying the city. It doesn't matter if you dedicate most of your time to repairing the damage done and making the city a better place. It doesn't matter how nice you are, how kind you are, how understanding you are, how patient you are, they are not going to change their minds. Speeches like this prove just how deep the problem is. If you want a place in this world you're going to have to carve it out yourself, and there's no point in being nice about it. You're not alone though," she raised her good arm and motioned to the various supers around the stage, even towards the ones they were fighting against. "There are more of us than you might think. If you need help, if you need to find a place for yourself, come find me. I'm not hard to find, just look for the colored lights."
With that, her aurora condensed into a small ball that was as bright as the sun itself, before it spread out into a colorful cloud around her back and shoulders. It moved like there was a gentle breeze running through it. With that, she lowered her arm again and gave the mayor a swift kick in the shin. He wouldn't be running after that. Without another word, she turned and started to leave the stage. The super community at large could decide what they wanted to do with the mayor. He was powerless at the moment, they would be able to do whatever they wanted.
