Saffron hummed to herself as she began to do the things that she did nt eh morning right after she opened the shop. First, setting kettles out to boil and taking all the wrap off of the treats in the display cause. Then on to the sweeping and dusting the section of the store that was due to be dusted that day. She settled into humming a tune that had been long, long lost to the human race as she dusted near the front of the shop. Kazuki 'Kaz' Yoshida

Kaz wandered the market, feeling unbearably lost amongst all the stalls and stores and such. It was such a strange place. Somehow, it managed to be both too large and too cramped. He couldn't make sense of anything. Kaz swore under his breath as he was propositioned to buy some wares for the umpteenth time. Why was he even here in the first place? That question was clearly rhetorical, since he knew exactly why; for the sake of visiting a certain tea store that may or may not have actually existed. The details on the card could have just been made up for all he knew.
Thankfully, they weren't, and he luckily found himself at what certainly looked like a tea shop. He was in the mood for a few refreshments, especially with the amount of effort he put into getting here in the first place. Not to mention how early it was. Stepping inside he was greeted with the sight of a woman cleaning the place up. Kaz helped himself to one of the treats in the display case while he waited for her to notice him.

Saffron saw Kaz slip in out of the corner of her eye. She was however, going to finish this cleaning so that it was done and she wouldn’t have to come back to it later. She let out a small sound of annoyance in the back of her throat as she finished wiping down the last spot. Turning to face Kaz, she found herself amused at how out of place he looked in her little shop. SHe put her hands on her hips. “Kaz, it's rude to take things out of display like that you know.” She sighed and moved, brushing past him. She righted the plate of disturbed muffins and closed the display case. Then with a speed, and a kind of grace that one couldn’t help but admire, she removed the apron she wore to clean and replaced it on its hook. She ran her fingers through her auburn hair once, then swept it up it a loose ponytail before tangling it into a messy bun with a large hair clip. The long light blue dress she wore had no sleeves, and seemed to float along with the gracefully way that she moved. “I’m glad you decided to come and see me after all.” She extended a dainty looking hand in his direction. “My name is Saffron.” If Kaz where to take that hand and shake it, he would find her grip strong and her shake willful. Just as he was about to take a bite from the treat he had taken when she turned around and addressed him. Guess there wasn't going to be any kind of formal greeting. Going by the sound of her voice and the fact that she knew his name right off the bat, it was clear that this woman was the one he had met at the docks. She certainly looked...different than what he was expecting. She was strangely graceful, with a certain class to her. Kaz wouldn't be surprised if she had her own fair share of suitors, going just by looks alone. Then again, going out and doing what she did at night wouldn't be easy on a person's private life. Which was why he didn't even bother with one. Too much hassle.
Kaz shook her extended hand, taking note of her grip. A lot of people tended to use handshakes to assert some kind of authority or make an impression, and she was no exception. That grip was a familiar one to him, though it tended to belong to older people of the opposite gender. Looking around, Kaz took in his surroundings. it wasn't too fancy, but had a rustic charm to it. Not something you'd expect in the city, especially not this one.
"You sell tea?"
[No problem at all]
