"La cucaracha, la cucaracha!" The mouth-watering smell of burritos, carne asada fries, and churros wafted through the forest. The plastic bag in his hand fit with the paper bag mask on his head. He was bringing these delicious goods to his good, old friend Lobisomem. Judging from a few claw marks on the trees and road, it seemed safe to assume they were at Myrtle Lake. Obviously, it was Myrtle Lake that RPG was headed to. After the dog incident and the thing with the mayor, he hadn't seen Lobisomem since. After they'd become such good friends, it was necessary to hang out every now and then. It was kind of a slow crime day, so it seemed like a pretty good time to hang out with some friends. Well, he hadn't met too many people that were really "good guys." Lobisomem seemed nice enough, so he was decidedly the one RPG was going to. Hope he likes Mexican food.Among the smell of Mexican food in the air came the sound of a Mexican standoff. One could tell it was a Mexican standoff from the cowboy music that played in one's head. (That may or may not only apply to RPG.) "...Lobi!" Rushing over to Myrtle Lake, RPG came to the edge of the trees and bushes. It was somewhat difficult to make out what was transpiring from where RPG was standing, but the gentle glow of the moon and the stars were reflected on the water and illuminated the shore just enough to see. One thing was clear, however. Lobisomem needed his help. Lobisomem

"Ha-hehe...come on, come on you little freak!"
Lobisomem was certain the laughter of tonight was never going to leave their head, along with the disquieting sounds of metal against metal as the thugs drew knives. Lobisomem had nothing on them, that should have been clear, so this wasn't an attack in desperation...this was a super attack. They had stopped this gang from cornering a young woman, they even recognized some faces, and the thugs had followed them...probably for revenge or some twisted desire to reduce supers.
A twinge of annoyance twisted Lobisomem's lips, after the whole mayor fiasco, they had been expecting this but now!? Here!? At their lake!?
One of them finally gathered enough bravery, waving his weapon wildly as he advanced. Lobisomem themselves leapt at him, snapping their jaws over his weapon arm. Just as a crunch rang out, they flung him away, spitting to get the tempting taste of blood out of their mouth.
Shameful pride emerged as the gang stumbled away from the half transformed beast, likely regretting their choice. They hadn't seen nothing yet.
Lobisomem burst forth, the shadows of the trees providing the necessary darkness for a smooth transition. They raised a paw, one strike should scatter them, and then-
Their concentration lapsed as someone called their name, prompting them to look for just a second. "What?" They mumbled, "Who's...th-"
And impact on their neck brought them back into reality, one thug clung to them, suicidaly trying to hack away their scales. His strike spurred on the others, who attempted the same cling and generally being a nuisance.
Lobisomem shook like a wet dog, unwilling to slam or bite these humans on the off chance they would kill them. Yet it was only a matter of time until a knife hit their eyes or skin.
A small part of their mind still remembered the person who had called their name, and raged at them, who the hell had done that!?

RPG dashed to the shore where the fight was taking place. "Hey you guys! Lobi and I were just about to have a Mexican midnight snack. Mind if I joined your Mexican standoff?" All of the thugs darted their eyes towards the masked vigilante. Some appeared dumbfounded by his ridiculous getup and the fact he was holding onto Mexican food. "Now I don't know what you guys want with my friend here, but I think we can all talk this over."
The faint, white glow on RPG's body enveloped him whole. A grin formed under the mask as it seems like rough waters are ahead.
Current Power: Dark Water Manipulation
"Then, how about we talk about it over some not-so-fresh agua?" The lakefront was turning a murky color. It blackened, seemingly corroding the shore. The surface of the water was getting riled up. It looked as if the lake was shaking. The rising tide grew larger and larger as it swayed back and forth on the lake. The wave's ferocity got too uncontrollable at some point, which RPG could not stop.
Suddenly, the wave got so big to the point that it would likely wash away their side of the shore. RPG didn't intend it to be this large. He just wanted to stir the waters so that miniature waves would splash the sides of Lobisomem, effectively taking his attackers down. "So... we have drinks to go around?"
The wave loomed over their heads as it waved at them from above. The darkness within the water looked as if it would corrode everything that touched it. The grin from earlier was gone.
At that moment, RPG sprinted over to the wounded Lobisomem, hoping to get a hold of him before they all got swallowed by the wave. You ain't dying today, Wolfbark!

Lobisomem's jaw dropped just like all their attackers, a temporary truce formed through sheer surprise. This guy again!?
They couldn't have felt more embarrassed by his declaration that they were friends, at least in his mind, but that wasn't where the surprise ended.
They stared up as the deadly smelling water rose above them, frozen even as the thugs screamed in dead fear and leapt away, running for safety. Then the super was actually running toward them, probably hoping to save them.
Instinctively, they reverted to their more humanoid form, if only to help the rescue attempt. They dropped to all fours and made a mad dash for RPG along with all the thugs, praying this little moron knew how to save them and possibly all the people running.

The gigantic wave swallowed everyone whole. In a split-second, RPG had gotten a hold on Lobisomem in the water. What was strange was the water itself. Of course the impact hurt, but it seemed to have other properties. It didn't affect RPG too much, but the thugs seemed to have been wincing in pain every moment under the water. I wonder how Lobi's holding up? To protect the Mexican food, RPG had controlled the water to not touch it, almost making the plastic bag the food was contained in a force-field of sorts.
Okay, time to get outta here. RPG closed his eyes tightly to focus. The water around them shook and pulled them around, as if they were in a whirlpool spinning in all directions at once. He couldn't talk underwater, so RPG gave a thumbs-up in front of Lobisomem's face, who he was still in close proximity to. It was supposed to convey that he had a good idea, but it's up for interpretation.
After a few seconds, the wave that swallowed them burst and exploded in all directions. It sent the thugs to different parts of the forest, while RPG, Lobi, and the still-dry Mexican food were shot in the same direction. Which direction specifically was unknown to RPG.
That could've gone better?

The water hit.
If there was a way to describe the sensation of the water, it would be painful. A burning feeling raced up and down their spine, making its way into their mouth and nose.
Their eyes flickered open just in time to see the guy flash a thumbs up...now what? They struggled mightily, every single instinct screaming for them to go get some air. The next thing they knew, they could suddenly breath and was hurtling in some random direction.
They barely registered the pain of landing, forcing themselves up and gagging at the taste of the water. They peered around, they and the water guy were the only ones left, was this some kind of joke?
They shook themselves violently, stomping towards RPG. Given a chance, they would grab at his collar, fangs in his face, "Explain...now!" They spat, "And it better be good, unless you want to be eaten."

"Hey, hey! I saved you, didn't I? A 'thank you' would be appreciated, you know? I thought you were in trouble, so I... uh... wanted to help?"
"...Okay, okay. So we crashed here, aching pains and all. Sure all the those bad dudes probably got away, but they at least now fear the sight of our unstoppable might!" RPG's argument was failing pretty hard. "Since those dudes came by, I just had to help you! You did get hit pretty hard back there. I mean, it was like, all my fault, but at least I tried?"
"Err, anyway! I came here to eat some Mexican food with my old pal! It's still warm and dry, see?" RPG held the plastic bag up to their chests. "But since this happened, I wanna know... who were those guys and what'd they want with you? An enemy of yours is probably an enemy of mine! I'll even help you track them down!
Geez, why do I talk so much? It just seemed like RPG's instinct to try and talk his way out of situations. It was better than fighting his way out most of the time. Although, fighting always seems inevitable for him.
Sigh... I am so going to get eaten.

Lobisomem never loosened their grip, "Help? Help!?" They roared, "They couldn't hurt me in a hundred years...did you see what weapons they had!?" They let go and started to pace restlessly, fangs clicking together unconsciously.
One red eye swiveled to glare at the food. In literally any other situation, there was no way they wouldn't take the offer of food, but right now...
"Your fucking kidding right, you can't be doing this intentionally." They chuckled at his questions about the people who had attacked them, "How the hell do I know? They hunted me because I'm a super, and apparently they don't appreciate it when a "freak" stops them from hurting someone!"
They were looking angrier by the second and suddenly stalked over to him, raising an arm, "Now how bout you fuck off before I hurt you!" They swung viciously, aiming for his idiotic face as their arm starting to be covered by scales.

Man, someone's getting mad. I wonder why.
Bam! The swing from Lobisomem was aimed at RPG's face, which connected quite well if RPG were to judge. He staggered back a few steps before falling to the ground but managing to keep the food from crashing down with him by holding his hand up. It definitely hurt. "Ow."
"So, uh, I think your hand might've slipped there. I, uh, I'm trying to help in case you forgot." Boy do they not look any less madder than they just were. They didn't look like they were going to get convinced anytime soon, unless if being angry was their way of accepting help.
RPG then got up slowly and gently put the food down on the ground. He was still feeling the damage done from earlier, so getting up was a tad bit more difficult. Urgh, no water anywhere here. The water dripping off of them wasn't very much, either. However, it was really his only choice, since he currently doesn't know how to produce his own water.
Clumsily, RPG gathered up all the moisture on each of them, forming it into a fist-sized ball of water. As a result, both became dry. Huh, harder than I thought. With the lake, he didn't attempt to be precise because of the huge amount of water. Albeit, he's able to control the smaller amounts better.
He shot the ball of negative water back at Lobisomem, hoping that the corrosive sensation from it might make him listen to RPG.

Lobisomem was practically seeing red, "I...do not...need...help!" They howled, red leaking into their eyes as their fury started to take control.
They almost missed him throwing the water, sucking in a breath and turning their back to it, where scales grew thickest. It stung like acid, but they refused to react more than a pained hiss, even as it ate through their skin and scales. They turned back around, revealing a toothy snout that defiantly wasn't there before, "That was an attack?...I'll show you how...to fight."
They bounded forward, letting out an inhuman scream as they launched, claws forming a split second before they swung for his arm, more to hurt than any lasting damage.

Oooh, knock out! It doesn't seem like he's getting up folks! 3... 2... 1...
RPG laid dormant on the ground after getting knocking into a nearby tree. And he's out! Ow... that one actually hurt more.
His blood was boiling, coming up with a plan. I guess I gotta beat some sense into my friends before we become friends? Is that right? With the way things are now, he had no chance of winning.
All around the ground under RPG was a mysterious puddle of water. It was even dripping off the tree, exactly where he hit it. Where it came from, RPG had no clue. Do I really sweat this much? Or maybe it's my blood, just more watery? While he could use the garnered mysterious substance as his weapon, it was just a bit larger than that earlier attack. It would've barely made the difference.
Okay, if I made this, I can make more... right? The blood was boiling more inside of him. It became more stirring than boiling, though. Liquid droplets dripped from his skin, but they were so minuscule that it'd take a while for a larger body of water to form. There was an intense amount of focus happening in RPG, almost looking like he was exuding a very intense aura.
There's not much more of a beating RPG could take. He needed to make more water fast. Unless, of course, Lobi waits maybe ten or twenty minutes. Maybe he'll do it if I ask nicely? The droplets were accumulating into the small puddle below him, slowly but surely enlarging it.

Lobisomem ignored the slight tremor in their face as they slammed the guy into a tree, God, were they getting this strong?
They froze at the sight of water, nose twitching at the odd substance, but it didn't seem to be doing anything. As a cautionary action, they slammed their hands-now paws, onto the ground. A large crack would ring out as their back surged upward and seemingly dissolved into the darkness. Soon enough, the Lobisomem stood before RPG, baring it's fangs angrily.
Deeming the water non-hazardous, they stepped forward and made a bold move. Swing their head forward to try and headbutt him a distance away, almost trying to goad a fight out of him.

The headbutt sent him launching upon impact, crashing through the tree he hit earlier and hitting another one. The first tree had fallen to the ground. If a tree falls in a forest and an awesome guy and a weredragon are around to hear it, does it make a noise? RPG couldn't hear with the ringing in his ears.
There was even more water spilled everywhere. It left a trail all the way from the initial puddle, which had gotten bigger, to the puddle that was made at this tree. He was like a sponge; all the water was getting knocked out of his body. He couldn't manually produce or release it, but this was fine. It still hurts a lot, though...
"Hey, 'Mem..." RPG was barely audible at Lobisomem's range as he was gasping for air while lying half-motionless on the ground. "Ya want a drink?" RPG was slowly pulling himself to his knees and looked around as the water spread everywhere shook where it was. Suddenly, it all floated and started swirling around Lobisomem. The size of the vortex was big enough for Lobi's whole body to stay in the center of it, where it was still dry. Not for long... In fact, the vortex was noticeably bigger than Lobi themselves. All the water from the ground and the trees were gone; they were all collected in the water vortex.
In a few seconds, it would close in on itself, encasing Lobi in the viciously swirling negative water. If this didn't work, he'd be at the mercy of Lobisomem.

Lobisomem again winced slightly but covered it up with a twisted snarl, serves him right for interrupting their night! Even if they were bleeding...water?
At the cheesy one-liner, Lobisomem rushed to backpedal, only to find water to all sides. "Fucking hell!" They howled, shutting their nose and squeezing their eyes shut as the vortex drew inward. This was definitely going to suck. Their mind had the clarity to think just before impact.
All they could do in the water was thrash frantically and try to swim wherever they thought "up" was, it wasn't working. Just before their huge lungs finally bursting, their hind legs hit ground and they lunged out.
Immediately, they struggled for a breath, nearly heaving up non-existent water. Gradually, they shifted back into a humanoid, rubbing their burning sides. Noticeably, their clothing had dissolved enough to reveal patches of their skin, where bone stuck up uncomfortably. They were starving.
"You know," They gasped, "I-I could really use that...damn Mexican right now."

RPG had just fell to the ground again from standing on his knees and hands. The spectacle of water knocked the energy to get up from him. It was evident he was gasping for air despite his efforts to keep it hidden. It took a few minutes for him to get a word out.
"Totally agreed." RPG, slowly getting up, goes over to the place that the Mexican food was at. He took out two burritos and tossed one over to Lobisomem. Sitting down while leaning on the tree, RPG started unwrapping the burrito. "Well, that was pretty fun." Although RPG was pretty hurt and he dealt his own fair share of damage to Lobisomem, it was just fun and games. At least, that's what he thought.
"Okay, lemme ask again. Can I help you with this stuff?" There was no way he was leaving Lobi to fend for himself, especially since it became his fault that he seemed badly hurt. "I know that I kinda beat you up, and I totally won and all, but I wanna help you! C'mon, it'll be fun!"
RPG nibbled away at his burrito, saving the carne asada fries and the tacos in the bag.
