'Twas a dark, stormy night in Emerald City, the perfect kind of night fit clandestine meetings between high ranking Keepers who enjoy theatrics and their informants who are all too willing to humor them. If Geata's random contacts were to be trusted, which he kinda doubted, such a meeting was supposed to take place in a derelict manor that was scheduled to be torn down soon.
The reason this was something the Portal Prince was interested in was because of the fact that he didn't know if he could trust the information he was getting. He didn't have the weight the Keepers did, and he was possibly interested in changing that. It certainly offered a plethora of benefits, but it also had some negative aspects as well. Sadly, that wasn't a decision he was going to make blind. If he was going to decide to drink the koolaid, he wanted to know what the ingredients were, so to speak. He wasn't willing to join the Keepers without knowing a thing or two more about what was going on behind the scenes. How he intended to find that information out, he had yet to decide, but he was determined to figure it out.
He grinned underneath his mask as he watched a man enter the supposed meeting place while Geata sat on a roof a little ways down the street. He couldn't quite tell if it was the informant or the Keeper, but he was quite early. Either way, Geata found his target, and he was intent on finding out what he could while he had opportunity.
SCHEME infiltrate the creepy mansion, interrogate the unknown person inside, and get any information on the Keepers possible

It wasn't often that she was left with nothing to do. For a while, Arcanum had been in so much debt that she got used to doing favors for other people. Nowadays, with the help of her clones, she could outsource the most menial jobs that didn't require her presence. Like tonight. Right now the Hermit was off doing some reconnaissance to eventually map out some building. Arcanum didn't need to stick around in order to know what was going on, so she left to find something else to work on.
In disguise, of course. Walking around as a known super might cause issues. No one would suspect a short little red-haired girl, too innocent to be up to no good.
When she happened to stumble across a certain informative individual, her plans for the evening became more defined. Returning to the sanctum might interfere with the Hermit's task, so this man was the best source of gossip in the area. Might as well see if he had anything new to talk about.
Arcanum skipped along, carefully following the man. Getting caught was only slightly a concern worth worrying about. If anything happened, she could alway shift back and he would probably recognize who she was supposed to be. That could wait until they were alone. Sneaking around sounded like more fun. Once he entered a nearby abandoned building, Arcanum didn't follow right away. she wanted a minute to figure out if anyone else was nearby, and if they would be a problem.

This sucks, thought Mass as he walked through the rain, to some abandoned old building, farther from the downtown area than he preferred. His job was to meet with an informant of the keepers who had outlived his use. He had worked as an informant for a while, and had been told and told many things by and for the keepers, and knew too much to be alloweed to live. When he got closer to the building where he was supposed to meet, he took note of the fact that it was old, and could easily break. That would be a nice cover for when Mass impaled the man with a chunk of ceiling. Upon arrival, Mass also noticed that the informant had already went in, and there appeared to be a small number of civilians nearby, including one close to the building. Taking extra precautions, Mass snuck around the back, and climbed in through a window. Hello there... As he said this, he would cover his hand in sharp densified material, and the man would back up against the opposite wall, scared, hoping that someone would save him. He also screamed, fairly loudly.

As far as data can go, Anonymous are 80% certain that his new formula was able to perform its purpose, even if it wasn’t perfect. The little emergency test-run that he had to do on Aurora during one of her chemical lab raid was a bit crude, but the results are quite astonishing. Working on his computer to further the stability of the formula, he can already feel like he’s getting close. Now that he had managed to create such compound without the needing of fancy lab equipments, he would like to have a little field testing with them.
Thanks to a certain little bird who was so kindly gave him a small piece of information for a deluxe lunch, he managed to learn a potential lab-rat for him to test this on. It’s seem that this guy might have learn something that he might not meant to learn about, and rumor has it that someone might be sending an assassin after him to silence him forever. Though it’s true that Anonymous might be quite curious about what secret this little man learned, it’ll be more fun to make him his first test subject for his experiment. He should be honored for being chosen as the first stepping stone for this glorious trial.
It is rather quite surprising that he would see Geata entering this abandon mansion; knowing him, he probably plan a meeting with that man there for the information. As he was scoping out the place after Geata make his entrance, he notice two more supers present at the scene: one was the oh so familiar Goo-lady Arcanum, but the other guy was rather new. Soon enough a scream from someone inside the mansion can be heard from outside the building; it seems like they’re having a party inside.
“Well,” Anonymous let out a sickening grin on his face as the sky above him light up from a flash of lightning, signaling the upcoming storm, “It won’t be a great party without a fog machine, don’t you agree my dear boy?”
Carrying a small smoke machine in his hand, Anonymous make his way toward one of the building’s ventilation fan that blow fresh air into the building and turning it on. Removing all his facial features except his eyes away, he set the fog machine onto the floor and began to pour some of the vile he carried, mixing the liquids together and turning the machine on. Placing the fog machine near a ventilation shaft, it would take about fifteen minutes for the odorless gas to spread throughout the whole building, affecting anyone foolish enough to go here without a proper protection. He doubt the gas will affect the supers in here as he wish for it to do, but the unpowered will be completely vulnerable.
“Now our little fright night can truly begin.”
Opposing: you want a haunted mansion? You’ll get a haunted mansion, dear boy. Let’s make every unpowered people inside face the true horror of a stormy night.

Rain was a mostly bothersome occurrence that simply could not be helped sometimes. It made everything sopping, cold, slippery or squeaky. Not to mention the awful splashing that accompanied his footsteps. Phenomenon had a strong dislike for rain, but at least he had an umbrella. Normally, he would simply stay under a roof or similar fixture, but he had gotten orders. Orders to come to some mansion in the middle of the rain and grant some semblance of assistance to a one Critical Mass. Phenomenon knew what the super looked like, but no details concerning the task at hand. All he needed to know, much to his disdain, was that he had to protect some lumbering fool in a suit of armor. He wasn't bitter, just displeased. All he was there to do was account for any discrepancies and try to make sure it all went smoothly enough. A scream rang out from his destination, not far along now at all. The most reasonable inference was that it had to do with parties he held interest in, so he broke into a run.
As Phenomenon reached the backyard of the mansion, he sprinted straight toward the back of the old place while assessing the situation. It was simple enough, doors shut, windows shut but one. It was raining, that shouldn't be open. Although his intention was to scale the building and climb through to find his mission, the figure on the roof gave him pause. The coat at first seemed like it may have been blackened armor but proved otherwise with the light wind. Whoever it was was of interest but not the one he was looking for. Phenomenon shook his head, nodding off the distraction and climbing to the window. Hopping in only a moment after Mass, he quickly and quietly said "Backup." It was his reason to be here, but he didn't like to communicate openly. Assuming there was no interference, he would begin to telepathically inform Mass of the man on the roof. From the pocket of the man Mass was directing his wrath at appeared a cell phone, glowing pink. It floated to his outstretched hand only to be dropped and crushed with a swift stomp. One more severed connection, another way to call for help gone. His mask watched the two eerily, waiting to act.

Siren watched from the shadows of the house. She had slipped in hours ago before all the others arrived. Quietly she wove through the creepy building. The Keepers there were dangerous. And their secrets.... Their secrets were something worth killing for, so of course she wanted to get at them. Besides Geata was here somewhere and some of this information was bound to be useful to A.D.I.T.
The house was soon filled with others. Three who were Keepers and one... One who she didn't know but not one to trust. The smoke filled the air as they tried to set the scene it felt like. It was then that she noticed the informant had been cornered. One of the Keepers were there, more than likely preparing to silence him. Thanking god she was completely invisible she picked up the closest item to her-a vase- and threw it at the would be assassin's head. What was a haunted mansion without it's ghosts? A poor one that's what. Besides, those secrets were worth more to her than all the money in the world. She would have them one way or another.

And suddenly, Geata spotted a familiar sight as he watched Critical Mass try to sneak around the house. If he had to guess, Geata was willing to bet that the guy with a history of interrupting Keeper business was here to be a massive pain in the ass. Siren had decided to help and was already inside, but the masked super was willing to bet that she wouldn't mind a little backup. He dropped through a portal, entering the house, just in time to hear a scream.
Dashing towards the origin of the sound, Geata happened upon Critical threatening the informant. "You survive, you're telling me everything of importance," he said quickly to the unpowered man before walking through a portal and emerged directly between him and the Keeper.
"You're proving to be far more trouble than you'd be worth, kid," he said flatly to the armored super.

Mass wouldn't move much during any of this, except for a slight tilt of the head as the vase shattered against his armor. I'm just doing my job, and my job is to kill that man. finishing this sentence, he would point a finger at the man cowering behind Geata. Don't think you're off just because these guys showed up. The vase was far more offensive than the insult, and so he turned in the general direction of Siren, slowly, I know you're there, and I would suggest you run away before you get hurt. He would then lift his arms, slowly, so that they were outstretched towards the invisible super, flexing his hands and arms, ready to back up his words with force. He didn't want a fight, but if he had to fight to complete his mission, he was fully willing to beat them down.

The gas should slowly starting to spread around the abandon mansion, and whoever the unpowered man inside the building would started to notice his vision to become quite blurry. His heart-rate started to rapidly increase from the high-level of adrenaline, if it wasn’t high before, and his sense of hearing began to pick up even the tiny drop of rain striking the window glass and the wooden roof. Hearing all of these sounds and nearly being blinded is enough to drive any unpowered human on the edge of insanity.
Quietly listened to any present that is inside the building, Anonymous can now tell there are five other super other than him inside the building. Excluding the sight of Geata, Goo-lady and the unknown super, there were two new supers that he didn’t recognize from their pattern. He can sort of hearing Geata and the other guy is in a conversation, and it was quite clear that the two of them isn’t on the same team.
Anonymous grinned and quietly cracking his knuckle a bit: “Well now, let’s get this party started.”

Dammit. Of course, there would be other people here, that was to be expected, but this was too much. The appearance of the other Keepers negated any chance of tonight going smoothly. Guess they wanted the guy dead for some reason which, in their line of work, wasn't too hard to figure out. If this was an official job, they probably wouldn't let her question the guy before killing him. She hoped to avoid fighting members of her own faction tonight, but apparently that was too much to ask.
Arcanum kicked in the front door and entered the building. With a snap of her fingers, she pointed at poor Mr. Informant. "That's it, the target is mine!"

There was no point in doing very much quite yet, just observing. The vase was admittedly a surprise, but it reminded him to keep his mind open for supers. The invisible one had now been marked in his mind, deemed not only a threat but a direct obstacle, and her location would be mentally tracked like the rest of them. Phenomenon took a quick headcount, six total. Two thirds were in the same room. There was a clear difference between the mind of a normal and a super, but the normals in this mansion were different. They were broken, not working normally. He used the informant here in the front of the room as an example, noticing all the symptoms he was undergoing. A quick analysis let him know that there were obviously drugs in his system as well as quite the percentage of the others in the building. It was unlikely it was the metaphorical punch, meaning it had been administered in some other, likely still dangerous, fashion. Better safe than sorry, if it could be dangerous to him best to not be near it. Suddenly, the previously far super had emerged by kicking in the door. The knob on the door glowed pink. The screws unscrewed and drilled themselves back in, now screwing the door to the wall. On the other side of the door, the hinges did the same. Now, it was effectively held to the wall on either side. The knob itself would simply fall out, landing with a dull metallic thud. The ceramic shards lying about swiftly replaced it, no longer leaving a valid grip or peephole but instead a mess of sharp, jagged edges and points. It wouldn't stop a kick from putting a hole in it, but it removed the idea of using the knob or kicking it completely open again.
There were several threats that needed dealt with. First, the poison. It had the most variables for affecting him, but it didn't seem to be bothering any of the other supers. Back burner with that one, moving to the masked one, what with the portals and such. He was quick enough, as well as obviously wanting Mass' victim alive. So, he made portals, had already encountered Mass, didn't like him, and was now the two Keepers' opposition. Next over was the invisible one with the projectile pottery. Obviously she could turn invisible and throw things, but had very little in the way of available information. Stranger on the roof, to be ignored for now. Assuming Arcanum went into the room they were in rather than the actual front, Phenomenon would have to run a half examination of her too; obviously wanted the target, so enemy. That was it. Now, he had to act.

It was quickly made clear that other people were handling keeping the informant alive. To Geata's surprise, though, one of those people used the same silver goo as Arcanum. He never actually got a chance to thank her for at least being willing to try to keep him an eye on him during the dragon attack, and they hadn't exactly worked together since then. He smiled slightly under his mask, but decided a conversation could wait until they drove back the other supers. It seemed they both wanted the informant alive, after all, so it was reasonable to assume they could probably come to an agreement.
Critical would once again find himself outside the building once again. Geata thought it would be best to provide him with company, so he walked through a portal onto the roof, where he was greeted with a most unwelcome sight.
"Hello, Anonymous," he said, his voice even more irritated than when he had addressed Critical Mass. "Could you kindly just fuck off?"

Arcanum made sure to stay in the back as those supers did their thing. Even if it wouldn't kill her or even cause any pain, taking unnecessary damage sounded like a pain in the ass. No reason to go all the way in and draw more attention to herself. An eye appeared on the slime covering the informant's face to increase her field of view. The man was struggling a bit, so she made sure to restrain his movement any time he tried to free himself from her control. It was for his own good in the end.
Onto the question of how that gas ended up here in the first place. Considering the powers she knew these guys were capable of, none of them seemed to require such a boring means of transmission. Fifi over there felt like the current best guess, but who knows? Why wouldn't Pheno straight up kill the guy?
No, there was probably someone else to worry about. For the moment, Arcanum knew exactly what to do.
