Unhallow's pace gradually slowed until they came to a complete stop. They considered taking their chances with the tunnel anyway, but gradually dismissed that idea. Azoth was right here, there was no reason to waste time and take risks when they didn't have to. It was embarrassing going back and relying on Azoth to get out, enough so that their cheeks flushed red. They wordlessly crossed the room, the only sound coming from them the sound of awkward breathing and a bit of sniffling. There was nothing more to say at this point.
They climbed out of the passage Azoth created without incident, and while normally they would have waited to make sure Azoth got out too, they really didn't want to stay here any longer. Azoth could take care of herself, and their own power made it so if something did happen they would be able to see it from a great distance away. Waiting would be awkward, walking home together would be even more awkward. It was for the best that they went their separate ways here.
