Lobisomem felt their lips peel back as the scene dragged on, eyes locked most prominently on the cop.
They quickly pushed the boy further into the foliage, nodding as a sign to stay put before bunching up their hindquarters.
The men likely didn't even see them coming, at least until one saw a horrific shadow launching at the cop. Naturally, he tried to run but only managed to frantically wave his legs as Lobisomem caught him by the collar, growling viciously as if daring him to try and escape.
They turned to the other men, but he was already running. Lobisomem couldn't catch him, but someone else might.
