Skills: As one can expect from a scientist, Silas is very intelligent. That, along with his patience, allows him to solve almost any problem he's faced with. Silas is also rather observant and can pick up things that other people miss. He is very deceptive too, as he can easily fool others into thinking he's someone that he's not.
Personality: Silas comes across as a rather polite and gentlemanly figure. However, this is just a façade. He uses this façade in order to keep his job and interact with his colleagues. In truth, he is rather cold. Silas cares little for others, especially those who are less intelligent than himself. The only thing he cares about, apart from himself, are snakes. Silas thinks snakes make better friends as they don't judge you like people can. As a result, he prefers to spend his time by himself or with snakes. Despite what others might think, Silas actually does have a sense of humour. It's just the dry and ironic kind that tends to rub people the wrong way. Even though he has little time for those who not intellectually-minded, he remains relatively calm. Not much gets under his skin. The one thing that angers him are those who actively disrespect snakes, either verbally or by ruining their homes.
