A new month means new updates once more! This time there are a couple mechanical and a couple administrative.
Gageteer has been buffed! Now instead of granting a flat 3 levels forever, it gives you one point per 5 levels. This means it still gives 3 points to starting characters, but it'll give more for higher level ones. See the Shop Thread for details. Gageteers are free to PM all staff to assign their extra points. Note that gageteer still doesn't increase your power level, so still do not get access to higher level powers early. Note for unpowered people, you can still buy part of your level if you want to get to a multiple of 5 for this. Just note it in your profile as Power Level Increase (# of levels you bought/10)
Accumulation immunities have new effects. You still need them to be of equal or higher level to have your powers be unaffected, but now immunities of any level will affect their openings. Having an Information immunity stops you from being affected by BYPASS, having an Enhancement immunity stops the person from getting rid of negative effects with DEFY, and having a Summoning immunity increases the amount of combat advantage needed to OVERWHELM by 5% for each person with the immunity on the team. See the Battle System thread for more details. This change is effective immediately, but will not affect schemes that are currently ongoing.
Due to some confusion, the staff are only going to look at super profiles when resolving schemes. This means if you've changed your powers, either via upgrades or unpredictable, you need to make sure to update your super profile after you PM us. Even if your action matches the powers in the PM, if they do not match what is currently in your super profile then it will still be considered an invalid action. This is effective immediately and will affect ongoing schemes, so make sure to update your super profile with any changes to your powers!
Similarly, please PM all staff with all espionage requests, changes to powers, level ups, and pretty much everything else. We have the PM All Staff button there to make this easy for you, and it means that you don't have to guess which staff member to PM. It makes it so that staff handles filtering PMs to the correct person rather than the player. Even if it looks like one staff member does all the work in the area you're PMing only them about, please PM all of us.
Everyone should have their prestige rewards. Let all staff know if you think you're missing yours!
