Name: April Itoh
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Occupation: Research Assistant at Emerald City University
Face Claim: Setsuna Higashi from Fresh Precure
Appearance: A late growth spurt managed to bring April to a healthy five foot seven inches tall. The general absence of curves and a youthful appearance still lead to people is a high school senior, not someone who is almost finished with college. Aside from an unhealthy obsession with the color purple, most of her wardrobe is plain and nondescript. She intentionally chooses outfits that do not take very long to put on.
Skills: Biology: As this is her major at college, it is easy to say she knows a lot about the human body and how it operates. Specifically she focused on physiology and anatomy One of these days she plans on teaching her own course some day.
Public Speaking: Having to give a presentation in class never really bothered her. Fond of hearing the sound of her own voice, April has spent a lot of time practicing in order to sound as clear as possible.
Gymnastics: Her one athletic specialty growing up, although now it is more of a hobby. Apparently back in middle school she did well enough to earn a few trophies, but doesn't really like to talk about those days.
Personality: For the most part, April acts in a very calm and professional manner. She puts effort into being polite when talking to anyone in a position equal to or better than her own. Honesty and straightforwardness are two easy ways to get on her good side.
April is a hard worker who believes that anything worth doing is supposed to be hard. It's better to slowly get everything done perfectly the first time around. A constant challenge keeps her motivated, and is necessary to fight off habitual laziness. To her, shortcuts and easy solutions only lead to more mistakes being made. The idea of putting off work is enough to bother her—actually watching someone procrastinate is infuriating.
She's very strict about following rules and procedures. Having a set structure to follow feels very safe and comforting. Gut instincts are often suppressed in favor of careful analysis of a situation. Relying on emotions will only lead to more mistakes being made and a lot of wasted effort.
It is often hard for her to understand other people and their feelings. To April, everything needs to be clear and logical, so when something doesn't agree with her she can't just let it go; she has to know why. Unfortunately, her lack of social skills makes this process more difficult than it needs to be. Her tone shifts between aggressive and sarcastic, not intentionally rude but still somewhat insulting. The pursuit of information is more important than actually winning the debate.
