Giza merely tried to hit her with a card, which was easy enough to block. As Arcanum raised her arm to swat it away, she couldn't help but grin at his simplicity. It was almost too easy. Instantly, she realized her mistake, but it was too late. The joker exploded sending dust and smoke everywhere. Some of it got in her eyes which caused an immediate burning sensation. Bringing a hand up to prevent any more dust from entering didn't help to get rid of the particles already in her system. It'd be easier to start over from scratch. Arcanum absorbed her eyes entirely and the pain gradually went away. One of the only good things about not being human anymore.
She thought she heard some of the prisoners say something and risked looking to see what happened. Arcanum regrew her eyes, remembering to include a pair of goggles to keep out the remaining smoke. Fortunately, she made it just in time to watch some twins go after Giza. Apparently there were a few inmates that didn't like Pandaemonium. That made sense, considering anyone from a rival gang wouldn't want to deal with any increased competition.
Still, a regular person trying to punch a super was either very brave or incredibly stupid. Especially right now when there aren't any so-called heroes around to make sure he didn't get killed. It's not like that guy had any chance of winning here. Whatever grudge he had probably wasn't worth dying over. At least wait until you get a weapon or something.
Arcanum didn't see any reason to actually complain, though. Talking would require growing a new set of lungs, and she didn't want to expose herself to more of that smoke. There might still be enough lingering around to be annoying. Plus, as long as no one bothered her specifically, she couldn't care less about what these criminals were up to. Hell, it even worked to her advantage. Shine on, you crazy diamonds.

Giza chuckled from seeing how Arcanum deal with the little gift that he gave her; some of the guards and prisoners also choking from the burning smoke, and their eyes would be watering like crazy. As when he thought he can leave her to this, the two prisoners that stood next to him began to say something weird before one of them threw a punch right at his face. Good thing that the ceramic mask was there to protect his face, but the shock from the sudden blow nearly knock him off balance. Whoever these two prisoners are, they have some gall to pick a fight on a super; he doubted they are the normal prisoners. It doesn’t make sense of how coordinate and in-sync their stupid quip are, so this is either the work of a twin, or a super is responsible for this.
Well it doesn’t matter, whoever these two are, they’re so gonna pay for their insolent interruption to the show. Time is rather short; he needs to get to the rendezvous point with Limen and Saduleak to get their guys out of here. Still clutching his jaw from the punch, Giza touched the wall next to him, focus his power on it to create a hole big enough for him to get through, but remain its texture so from the outside it look like he went right through the solid wall. Once he got to the other side, the wall reform behind him; he quickly made his way to the court yard where Limen should have the escape vehicle ready. He doubt those people in there will just let him leave like this, but it’s much better doing all of this fighting outside.
“Limen,” he shouted into the com, “have you obtained an escape vehicle for us yet? Any one, super or not, dare get in your way, show them no mercy!”

The smack of fist on mask was extremely satisfying. Stunt Double brushed off his hands as the enemy super fled the area, then looked across the hallway at Arcanum. He did a double-take as he saw her liquid metal body reshaping itself. Serious T-1000 vibes. So, maybe not a dog user after all, then.
The sound of fighting outside drew Stunt Double's attention. He rushed out, just in time to see a black-armored super fighting against two more supers. Everything was starting to come together. He had heard about Unhallow, a Keeper, around the Bulwark water cooler. Apparenty the Keepers were fighting to maintain order here. If that meant he was working with them for the time being, then he certainly wouldn't lose sleep over it.
"Hey!" Stunt Double ran across the courtyard, taking cover next to Unhallow. "I'm not actually a convict. Stunt Double, Bulwark, we're on the same side here. Careful, I've heard about that one that ran into the guardhouse. She's called Lemon. A... citrus-themed super, I think? Watch out for acid attacks."

Sanduleak stood still for a few seconds before realizing that his intended flash was not coming any time soon and that he looked like a complete idiot at that moment. Then came the minor headache in the back of his mind that caused him to send a glare at the Keeper. He was admittedly thankful for the smokescreen as it at least hid his embarrassment and helped him calm down. Though soon afterwards he heard a voice that he could assume wasn't Unhallow's and let out a groan in response.
"Great a Bulwark...least he seems stupid..."
He didn't bother hiding the laugh at his guessing and assumptions about Limen, oh yeah definitely Bulwark and definitely material he was going to hold over Limen's head after this jailbreak was finished. Which unfortunately was taking much longer than expected. Soon after that he caught the order from Giza and shook his head, no time for thinking bout jokes this was serious and they needed to finish it.

Keys lined the wall of the room Limen entered, and she didn’t hesitate just swiping a half dozen of them. Sprinting back out into the courtyard, she read the number on the key, found the corresponding truck, jumped in, turned the key in the ignite and… nothing. The truck attempted to start and failed utterly.
Limen abandoned the failure of the truck and moved on to the next. Jump in, key in ignition, and again the engine failed. Muttering swears to herself under her breath, Limen abandoned ship again and moved to the next.
This was when Giza’s message came over the com. “Working on it, boss.” She slammed the door to the next van closed and tried the key. The car failed to start. “Seriously?! What, did these guys keep rats in their engines?” She said under her breath. Come to think of it, the Horseman of the Apocalypse super had been standing in front of the vans. Perhaps they had messed with them?
But, though one through three were duds, when Limen turned the key in the fourth car the engine turned smoothly on. Letting out a sigh of relief that one of them was working, Limen pulled the car into reverse, backing out of the cloud of smoke. “Got one!” She said into the com, spinning the wheel madly and slamming on the gas. The tires took several seconds of spinning in the dirt to work up enough traction before the armored truck got moving. “So you guys cool with just jumping on? Great, I’m driving by now.” They needed to get them and the prisoners out of there as soon as possible.
The car looped around first by Sanduleak. Its tires and sporadic movements kicked up dust and came uncomfortably close to hitting more than one person. She drove the speeding vehicle as close as she thought she could get away with without accidentally hitting him, expecting him to indeed find a way to jump onto the van. One caped pandaemonium down.
“Giza, tell the inmates-” That there’s keys in that guard house over there, she was going to say. The masked super appeared suddenly and unexpectedly close - on top of the Horseman of the Apocalypse, in fact. The van took an equally sudden and jarring turn as it changed course form the door she expected Giza to be coming from. She couldn't aid him immedtatly after he'd appeared - Sanduleak had been closer, but as she neared the super, Limen kicked the driver’s side door open, steadied the steering wheel with one hand, and leaned out of the van, reaching for Giza with the other, whatever state he was in. Was he ready, she’d offer her hand to him to help him up. Was he not ready, she’d grab onto his arm or something and attempt to pull him up into the car.
Then, all that was left was the gate. The prisoners would need a way out. The front of the unfortunate van was going to make that exit. Limen leaned on the gas, bringing the truck up to as high a speed as she could get in that small space. The answer to “who was stronger - the gate or the van” was going to be answered very quickly.

Unhallow wasn't sure how many people would actually be relieved upon hearing the Bulwark was here, but they expected not many. Unhallow was not one of those people. At first, they really wanted to believe that this person was just a delusional prisoner, but given how unusual this person's anatomy was there was no denying that they were a super. Unhallow tensed again as they felt an overwhelming sense of dread. Something terrible was going to happen. At least this super recognized who they were. If this guy was smart (read, if Unhallow was lucky) maybe he'd stay out of the way. No such luck, he continued to approach as he spoke.
"If you know then why--"
Before they could even chastise the super for coming closer, he tackled them to the ground. Unhallow froze, unable to even breathe momentarily. What was wrong with all these Bulwark people? Why did they keep wanting to suicide on Unhallow's power? It somehow even got worse than that. While this super didn't have any obvious squishy important internal organs at least, suddenly he was replaced with someone that did. That Bulwark member was in contact with them long enough to know what pulling something like this would do. Was he seriously trying to murder this person? Sure, Unhallow was no fan of Pandaemonium, but outright killing them still seemed a little excessive. Unhallow screamed, and quickly tried to push Giza off of them before they could do too much damage. Even so, Giza's torso was right on top of their chest for a short period of time. Even that much could have serious repercussions. Serious blood loss, serious difficulty breathing, heart problems, wearing of the stomach lining, bones weakening, skin dying so fast that it looked like it was melting...How the hell could Stunt Double even call himself a hero after that?
On top of all that, Pandaemonium managed to find a working car. Unhallow bit their lower lip. They weren't fast enough. They were going to get away and it was all Unhallow's fault. They continued to be worse than useless given that not only did they fail to slow this plot down, but they caused serious structural damage to the prison just by existing. Unhallow balled their hands into fists and grit their teeth.
No, they weren't going to fail, not this time!
Without thinking, they grabbed onto Giza's leg as he was being pulled into the vehicle. Unhallow knew the driver wouldn't just let them into the car, but they had no intention of trying to get into the car. They only wanted to stop the supers, not kill them. Instead, once it was in reach, Unhallow reached out and grabbed the side view mirror and pulled themselves up onto the hood of the car. It was times like this that they were glad they had unusually long arms. From there, they flopped ungracefully, nearly rolling off the vehicle entirely, as they reached around to the other side to grab the other mirror in an attempt to keep themselves stable on the car. Their just was right against the hood, the engine was close enough that hopefully it would just stop working. This was so stupid, so unbelievably stupid, yet here they were. If this failed they'd probably end up as a smear against the gate, but even that would probably be more dignified than failing.

Finally Limen got the escape vehicle, now he just needs to find the Pandaemonium’s inmates and gather them all together in order to get in that van. Once the rose hedge finished spreading all over the court yard, he looked around for the inmates in order to guide them to the van. If those idiots are smart, they will probably near where Sanduleak are right now at the rendezvous point that he had planned out to them during the planning phase before the riot started.
Well, that was the plan to begin with; it all happened all suddenly that he didn’t even realized what just happen. For one moment he was near the front of the gate looking for the inmates, the next moment he was right on top of a figured dress completely in black and a helmet cover their face. It took him a short moment to realize who they are, and by then it was slightly too late. He can feel his stomach quench up in pain, his chest pounding and his whole front abdominal region of his body nearly collapse on itself. The super managed to kick him away from them, and Giza struggled to stand up from the sudden wave of severe pain all over his body.
“Son of a b-” he didn’t even have a chance to complete his statement before he cough up blood right out of his mouth, smearing the mask and the ground with some blood spatter. He feel like his whole lung is on fire, thus rendering him unable to speak without another cough of blood out of his mouth.
Clutching his stomach and still feeling sick from the pain, Giza barely managed to stand on his two feet and slowly back away from the dangerous Keeper before him. As if on cue, Limen arrived with the vehicle and pulled him into the seat without even much of a warning. That Keeper managed to get their hand on his feet and pulled themselves onto the hood of the car in high speed.
At this point, Giza was close to burst with rage from these people constantly targeted him; he snatched the wheel out of Limen’s control and begin to sharply veer the van in a sharp turn back and forth, trying his best to threw the uninvited hitchhiker off of the vehicle. At the same time he looked around for the Pandaemonium’s inmates and Sanduleak among the chaos, hoping he could manage to get to them so they can finally get out of here. And this Keeper better let go of the hood quickly, or he will ram them straight into the gate without a slight care of their well being.

It was actually reassuring to hear one of the vehicles start after Limen's other attempts, and seeing their de facto leader run out of the prison helped, it at least meant all the important members could get away. Sanduleak turned around and let a few 'stars' out from under his cloak, each one heading to a pandemonium prisoner and becoming a rough dagger, least it gave them something after what the Horsemen did to every weapon including Sanduleak's fave gun. He let out a breath of exhaustion, before noticing the Bulwark grab 'Pestilence'. The hell was that idiot doing? Things moved in the blink of an eye and it took him a second to register that the Keeper was now right on top of Giza. It wasn't that hard to see the blood smearing the ground from his coughs before he got into the vehicle...THAT GUY THINKS HE'S PLAYING HERO BY THROWING SOMETHING DANGEROUS LIKE THAT ON TO SOMEONE, HE COULD'VE KILLED KADABRA OR LIMEN IF THEY WERE CLOSE ENOUGH!?!?! Violently shaking his head, Sanduleak turned to the crowd behind and yelled
"ALL OF YOU CHASE AFTER THAT GOD DAMN CAR AND DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU OTHERWISE!"
Receiving a few nods, he turned heel and ran for said van, knowing that it was going to stop, or at the very least slow down, once it reached the gate.

Stunt Double found himself standing the the courtyard, his body having completely repaired itself by taking the shape of the magic user. A moment later, he saw a flood of inmates emerging from inside the prison. This was bad, it'd all be for nothing if they managed to get outside in the chaos!
Rushing toward the flood of inmates, Stunt Double shouted out.
"Hey! No! Go back inside!"
The convicts slowed, but didn't stop. The press of the crowd behind them was pushing them forward, and some of them also seemed suspicious at how Stunt Double's voice was different from what they had previously heard from the magic villain. Stunt Double escalated things, stepping forward and waving his arms threateningly.
"Bad! Shoo! Hocus pocus! Alakazam! Uh, please and thank you!"
That got their attention. The threat of having magic powers turned against them caused the convicts to back up, then turn around and start running back inside. It would only delay them a bit at best before they thought better of it and came out again, though. The important thing was making sure the villains didn't manage to smash down the gate and leave an exit route for the convicts to escape.
Stunt Double turned around and noted with alarm that they had secured a vehicle to do just that. He broke into a run, trying to think of a way to stop them.

Those Pandaemonium supers were trying to gang up on her as they escaped. The magical vine contraption wasn't going to stop her from following Giza for long. Their attacks were more annoying than life threatening, especially since they still managed to distract her long enough to run away.
Wait, was that--
Arcanum had finally caught up with the other supers, and just now realized there was another Keeper present. There was no mistaking that particular outfit. Or that scream. When did Unhallow get here and why was Giza hugging them? Judging from the fact that she could now see two magicians, one of them was probably Crazy Diamond. This had to be the work of an enemy superpower. Didn't one of those Bulwark have some sort of teleportation ability? Was there really a hero hiding among these criminals?
No, if he just did what Arcanum thought he did, then Diamond boy wasn't very heroic. Her eyes narrowed into thin little slits as a hissing sound came from her mouth. Willingly putting a person right at the epicenter of that destruction was hardly a noble action. Arcanum barely cared about Giza's health or lack thereof. The more important problem lied with how Unhallow would deal with this.
Is there some secret competition between the other factions to see who can best traumatize the poor kid? Does everyone just enjoy watching them suffer? When this is all over, Arcanum decided to take Unhallow out for ice cream or something. Everyone liked ice cream. Plus, both of them could really use a day to cool off, so it was an thematically appropriate treat.
Of course, this vacation only worked if these assholes didn't succeed in maiming the kid with their stupid car. Arcanum raced after the group, more determined than ever to stop them here and now. It was her responsibility to make sure Unhallow survived. If it weren't for her interference, none of this would've ever happened.

That car wasn't going anywhere. Unhallow had done a good job of wrecking the thing, so Arcanum only helped out a little by destroying a few more pieces. At this point, those Pandaemonium idiots would probably be better off pushing the thing if they really wanted to take it. Good luck getting any traction in all this goop, though.
Crazy Diamond ended up teleporting Unhallow off of the car, so maybe he wasn't all bad. He was just a moron. With her fellow Keeper now farther away from that mess over there, the need to go over herself evaporated. The hero could handle it himself. Arcanum's time would be better spent making sure none of the prisoners tried to escape on their own.
From out of the slime-coated floor, six clones of her current form rose up to block each exit. Despite all looking the same, each copy was easily distinguishable by their clothing, which represented six different colors of the rainbow. In order to match the theme, Arcanum herself was now wearing a purple suit. She clapped all seven sets of hands twice to get everyone's attention. The grin on each of her faces was unnaturally wide, but who cares, this was a happy moment. “Alright boys, hope you enjoyed your workout, 'cause it's time to got back to you cells!”
Of course they weren't all going to listen. Some of them in the back still looked like they wanted to fight. The prisoners may not have any powers, but they weren't all the usual weak civilians that conveniently follow every request. Especially the ones from Pandaemonium. Technically, they had a numbers advantage, but that would help against her quasi-immortality. There had to be a way to discourage any further action without punching somebody. Starting another battle would only waste everyone's time. That ice cream shop downtown wouldn't stay open forever.
In a moment of inspiration, Arcanum tightened her circle around the group, forcing them closer together as she stood within arms reach. She leaned in even closer, getting all up in their faces. Her smile was long gone by now. “Unless, of course, you feel like dying today. After all this exercise I've built up quite an appetite, so if anyone wants to volunteer as tribute, I'd be very appreciative.”
She licked her lips in anticipation, but none of them made any noise. Good. Arcanum was not looking forward to discovering what human tastes like, and was glad she didn't need to find out today. Would've been nice to follow through with at least part of the threat, though. Oh well, maybe next time. After backing up a step she continued on.
“No one? In that case, follow the woman in red everyone.” She directed their attention to her red-dressed figure who was waving excitedly to their right. “She'll be guiding you to your accommodations for this evening.”
(We're taking option 1, by the way.)

The grease simply dissolved away from that Keeper’s power, much to Giza’s disappointment. Even while Limen fought with him to control the van, they still managed to latch onto the van without letting go. Then without even much of a warning, there was two of them appeared in his view: one still holding on to the hood while the other stood in the middle of the yard in place of where his imposter was running down on. The one on the hood seems rather confuse for a moment before they become Limen herself. If she’s out there, then that mean…
The Limen inside the van just let go of the steering wheel in a state of panic, which is enough for him to realize this must be the very same super that pretended to be him earlier. The car’s engine started to emit smoke, the ground before them become crack, and the seat next to him begin to decay. It was pretty obvious that this van is no longer be any used to them, and the situation back in the prison isn’t seems to improve at all.
Looking over at the front of the building, Arcanum looked like she’s gotten everything under control as she multiplied herself, forming her own Power Ranger group, and ordered the prisoners back to their cell. With the situation now, he can tell the mission was a wash; they need to leave this area before the police finally arrive, and his wound need some time to heal.
With that in mind, Giza stepped on the break before the van crash into the wall, squishing Limen or worst. Once the van come to a complete stop, Giza kicked the fake Limen out of the driver seat before slowly making his way out of the van, still holding his stomach from the injury. He turned to Limen, still holding on to the hood of the van, and gave her a signal to retreat without saying a word and threw a card onto the wall next to him, completely demolish a big enough hole to get through.
With that all said and done, Giza took off his top hat and summon out a huge swarm of bees and wasps flying around his space, completely surrounding him from head to toe. With a snap of his finger, all the insects flew off in all direction; once they all flew away, Giza was gone.

Forget keeping the horseman from getting squashed. Suddenly Limen was on the hood of the car, and the gate was approaching fast. Prior to this, she was completely fine with the front of the van getting completely remodeled, but now that she had a closer view, she wasn’t quite so sure.
Limen acted fast. Keeping her arms close to her chest, she let herself fall backwards off the front of the van, curling into a ball before she hit the ground and simply letting the momentum carry her. Once her speed had waned, she jumped up to her feet, arms spread wide for balance. Couldn’t miss the big break as the van met gate.
Sadly, it seemed her efforts were in vain. As though the van had insulted their mothers or something, the Keepers had all but grounded the thing. There would be no gate smashing today.
Limen met Giza’s eyes, shooting him a grin despite their best efforts they’d lost. That much was clear - another lady had appeared, likely the one Giza had mentioned, who had the prisoners under control, and the silent Pandaemonium had taken a beating. Perhaps Sanduleak and she could continue fighting for a little longer, but they had to take care of their faction member.
No, it was time to ditch. Plan A was to climb over the gate (so at least it wouldn’t be able to hold back one person), but Giza so kindly made a hole in the wall that she couldn’t turn down his consideration.
“Farewell, Keepers of the peace!” Limen shouted to the gathered supers. “Enjoy your security that was nearly broken by three Pandemoniums!”
Limen sprinted through the hole, and once down the hill, would make her escape on her motorbike. Not as fancy as one of those armoured vans, but it would do.
