Appearance: Standing at just under 6 ft but with a weight of a little over a 100 pounds, Shane is a picture perfect representation of a skeleton. He’s a messy mop of brown hair on his head that he never bothers to comb, and usually never seen without his thick black jacket and light blue sherlock hat to hide his skinny pale body and messy hair. It’s a miracle if he ever does match his wardrobe and usually just picks whatever’s most comfortable, would probably walk around in sweats if it wasn’t so annoying or cold.
Skills:
Intelligent - despite his stressing about grades, Shane is naturally gifted with smarts for subjects that interest him. Only a little bit of studying is required to keep info fresh. Biology, Math, Computer Tech, and History being his main subjects. Usually thanks his memory for being able to keep track of it all, funnily enough doesn’t help him remember names, unless the person actually interests him.
Electronics - Shane is a bit of a gamer thanks to his arcade occupation and has had to learn to work with computers and electronics to keep everything running, he won’t do any world class hacking but he’s got a couple coding and programming tricks stored in his head.
Firearms/pragmatism - Shane has been taught how to shoot since he was five and hasn’t let any of that knowledge go to waste. Though he prefers rifles and revolvers due to them being easier to handle, he can wield most basic guns without injury to his weak frame. Also a firm believer in ‘no such thing as a fair fight’ and ‘even the weakest man can take out the strongest with a single bullet’ meaning he will not fight fair and even bring a gun to a fist fight if need be.
Gambling/lying - A talent he makes an effort to keep hidden is his ability to trick and swindle with some skill. Has a bit of an addiction to gambling but normally comes out on top thanks to him knowing when to choose his bets. Keeps his lying hidden by keeping the ratio of two lies for every five truths, so that if even one figures out he’s lying they don’t know which are lies or truth.
Retreat - His big mouth, lying, and gambling addiction have gotten him into trouble more times than he can count, and when he doesn’t have a way of putting the odds in his favor, he has no issue at all with using his long legs to beat a hasty retreat.
Personality: A few words that would describe Shane would be indecisive, excited, silly, lazy, stressed, easily annoyed, but generally likeable. He enjoys making bad jokes or references whenever he can, and welcomes any distractions from serious stuff like the future and goals. He honestly has no clue what’s he’s going to do in the future just wanting to graduate, get an easy job, and live a simple life maybe have a nice family, though supers do make that a little difficult. He’s easily annoyed by stupid or ignorant people and finds that the supers situation is being handled idiotically due to fear, they stop dragons and so preserve survival of all other people. Make the relationship symbiotic not parasitic is what he says.
