Things weren't going well in this part of the neighborhood. Titan had read on the news about a number of brutal street fights that ended with entire gangs of men bloody and beaten. Some were put in the hospital for a few days, others were crippled for life and a few were even dead on the spot. But this wasn't just an ordinary gang war. These brawls were heavily one-sided, with reports saying one person, and one person alone, was responsible for taking down groups of men armed to the teeth with knives, clubs and other assorted weapons with their bare hands. No doubt this was the work of a super. No one in Bulwark matched the description given by witnesses, narrowing the affiliation of the perpetrator down to either Pandaemonium or themselves. Titan needed to find out more about this mystery super and hopefully put a stop to this madness. Not only was Emerald City already in a panic about supers, but now the people had more a reason to be afraid of them.
Titan had made his way to the docks late at night, when most of the attacks took place. He wasn't much of a detective, but with the concentration of lowlives that hung around here, he was bound to catch the perpetrator in the act at some point. Trying not to draw too much attention, Titan stayed at his normal size, though he was already considerably bulky by normal standards. Eventually, after what felt like hours skulking around the docks, he suddenly came across a visceral scene. Strewn about the dockside were scores of men lying in pools of their own blood. They had their faces pummeled in, their bones broken and were left groaning in agony. Titan found his target.

"Hahahaaha! Is this seriously the best that The Widowmakers have to offer? Pathetic."
He spat to the side, his gesture of disrespect landing in the face of the former leader of this pathetic gang. Even with clubs, chains, and knives they couldn't do anything. They thought their little toys would protect them but they failed to realize the simple truth about knives and other weapons. They were nothing but useless hunks of metal if you couldn't land a blow.
"Let me do you a favor."
He said, smirking as his boot pressed down on the helpless man who only moments before believed himself to be a big shot. His eyes gleaned with a dangerous light as he put pressure down on his throat. Another laugh bubbling forth from his lips. This was the part that he enjoyed most of all. Watching the hope, the light fade from the eyes of his vanquished foe. Seeing that moment of utter defeat. Of such abject hopelessness. If only he could bottle such a thing, but alas some things were best fresh from the source.

Moving closer to gruesome scene, Titan managed to get a clearer picture of the guy he was looking for. From behind, he couldn't make out anything but a long, dark coat. Even if he was facing him directly, the poor lighting of the docks would have made it difficult to make out any details anyway. At least Titan figured that the perpetrator was a man going by their voice, if a relatively young one. But what he was doing not only disturbed the Bulwark, but made his blood boil. This criminal wasn't satisfied with beating them in a fight, he made them suffer in both body and spirit. It disgusted Titan. A super abusing their power to lord over people too weak to ever match up. As if the public's perception of supers wasn't already but enough, this guy just had to make it worse. Make people fear to even leave their homes because they might just end up running into someone like him. With nothing but a growl of anger, Titan made his presence known by growing up to 10 feet and rushed towards the criminal, making a swing at his head. Even in his enraged state, Titan made sure to pull his punch. It wouldn't kill the guy, but it would certainly hurt like hell.

Perhaps the lug should have thought to attack with stealth on his side. But with his growl of anger and sudden expansion of size he could just sense the presence looming behind him. When the blow swung for his head Gilgamesh would duck down allowing it to whoosh over him as his foot pressed down harder onto his victim's throat crushing it and extinguishing the life that had been holding out in his eyes. Though the fact that it was now a quick death may be a small mercy.
"Do you think you can hold my attention?"
From his low stance he would pivot on the foot that was solidly planted on firm ground while the foot that had been crushing the thug's neck just moment's before swung outward in a sweep kick for the man's ankles. His right hand planted itself on the ground to act as a stabilizing force. For the blow, which would pack a lot more power than one would think a man of his size capable of producing. But size and power didn't matter if you couldn't stay grounded. Just how well could the big man keep his balance?

Titan let out another grunt of frustration when his blow whiffed the faster super, who simply ducked away from the strike. He apparently still had time to partake in needless cruelty, as he audibly crushed the man's throat as he maneuvered. That only pushed Titan towards the brink of sheer rage, as he stared from behind his mask straight at his opponent. He had read about this man's brutality, but witnessing it was a completely different animal. Despite this, he had to make sure his anger didn't cloud his judgement; who knew what tricks this guy had up his sleeve? Those suspicious were confirmed when, in what seemed like less than the blink of an eye, the man threw a strong kick at Titan's leg. His strength took Titan by surprise, he sure didn't look like he could exert that amount of force, but he did. While it wasn't hard enough to severely damage anything, Titan certainly felt it. Despite the solid hit, he managed to regain his balance and slam his fist down onto where his opponent was. If he dodged it as expected, Titan would follow it up with a powerful tackle.

Gilgamesh was surprised that the blow hadn't knocked the lumbering giant off his feet. Clearly he would need to attack his center of gravity first, maybe a throw would do. Because super powered or not one thing remained true. The bigger they were, the harder they fell. Titan might be surprised that the robed figure didn't dodge this blow but instead rose both of his arms up together in a cross to block the slam attack. Grunting under the effort of the giant's strength from his position he would attempt to push back upward in an attempt to get back to his feet.

Much to Titan's surprise, his opponent didn't dodge out of the way, but instead shot out both of his arms to block the downward strike. In another display of the other man's strength, he wasn't crushed by the attack, but held it at bay, though not without some effort on his part. Whatever this super's powers were, they allowed him to go toe-to-toe against the currently 10 foot giant. Titan contemplated increasing his size to better match his opponent, but the potential risks of collateral outweighed whatever combat advantage doing so would give him. Instead, Titan grabbed one his opponent's arms with his free hand, with the intention to turn around and slam him hard into the ground. If his opponent found a way to counter that, Titan needed to figure out another way of dealing with this guy.

Titan had the advantage with one free arm and would latch on to Gilgamesh and lift him easily. His free hand would plant painfully against the wooden dock with a grunt. Thankfully Titan had released his grip from his other arm allowing him to keep his mobility intact through sheer strength and reflexes. He'd pivot his body using his planted wrist as a ground as he swung his body back toward the giant, his legs flying right for his chest!

In a display of both the super's reflexes and strength, he managed to break his fall while also maintaining his momentum. As he swung towards Titan, the giant could barely react in time for the attack. Titan attempted to bring his arms up in a block, but it was too late. The blow connected, and Titan felt the force of the super's entire body. The kick to the chest winded the giant, and even sent him sliding back a few inches. Thankfully, he managed to recover quickly, and tightly gripped his opponent's legs. Grinding to a stop, Titan, still keeping a tight grip on the other super, suddenly leapt into the air and attempted to slamhim hard into the ground. Hopefully this would do the trick

The moment of satisfaction that he felt when the giant stumbled back was as glorious as it was fleeting. It seemed that the brute had learned his lesson and this time grabbed onto his legs before gravity allowed them to fall. Gilgamesh's body flew through the air easily enough for the super strong hero who leaped along with him before slamming Gilgamesh down into the pier. All he could do in this moment was try to minimize as much damage as he could. Using his arms to brace himself so that his head didn't slam down into the ground at full force.
Not his best moment, but Gilgamesh just gritted his teeth and let out a low growl. He wasn't even close to being ready to surrender. He was no one punch chump. And he was going to make the giant feel whatever he dished out against him ten fold. That he swore to himself. He would triumph.

As the two fell to the ground together, Titan was pleased to see his plan go through. The other super felt the full impact of the slam, only being able to defend himself to a limited degree. It wasn't enough to take him out of commission, but he would feel it. Titan wanted him to. While it was only a fraction of the pain he had inflicted of others, Titan was satisfied with the fact that he caused some amount of damage to his opponent. Even if he wasn't taken down for good, he might be discouraged from prowling around the docks from this day forward. Releasing his grip from the super's legs, Titan grabbed him by his collar and held one fist in the air, ready to strike.

Bad move on the brute's part. When he released Gilgamesh's legs they would fall to the ground. And as his collar was grabbed a devilish smirk flashed over his face. And while most of his face was obscured by hair and shadows there was a definite presence of Malice burning deep in his eyes. He was just getting started.
His right hand flattened itself against the wood, fingers pressed together so that his hand took on the shape of a blade before he'd strike forward with lightning speed as Titan raised his own fist in a threatening motion. The target for the powerful strike was the masked heroes windpipe. His fingers pointed to cause a small but concentrated point of impact where it would do the most damage and give him the biggest advantage.
If the blow managed to stun or stagger the giant Gilgamesh would lean forward, his striking hand moving to grab Titan's raised fist, pulling him toward Gilgamesh and the ground. Meanwhile his legs would kick upward from under the giant as he was pulled forward to help propel him over Gilgamesh and slam his back into the ground behind Gilgamesh.

The super's recovery was swift, as the moment Titan had grabbed his collar, a hand shot out towards Titan's throat. While the giant was able to release the hand gripping the collar and attempt to intercept the blow. Unfortunately, his opponent was too fast, and while Titan was able to prevent himself from feeling the worst of it, the blow struck true. Pain shot out from his throat, even when Titan managed to prevent the worst of it. Taking advantage of the giant's momentary imbalance, his opponent tossed Titan, using his own weight against him. As Titan slammed hard into the ground, he took note of how the dock seemed to be buckling underneath his weight. If they kept this up, it could collapse, bringing them both down.

The satisfaction from the sound of the giant crashing into the dock send a ripple of pleasure through his body. Though he wouldn't remain where he was to soak up the enjoyment of the small but immediate victory. The rush of the fight. Rather he'd roll to the side away from Titan before pulling his legs back and then lunging forward to leap to his feet from his prone position. His arms reflexively moved up into a defensive position as his right leg shifted back and his left shifted forward to lead.
He'd wait for the giant to recover and get up, he didn't feel the need to press his advantage for now. Not when things were starting to get interesting. It was possible that maybe, just maybe this lumbering giant might prove himself to be worthy. That all of the nights that he had spent out here fighting the drags and trash of society had finally drawn what he was looking for to him. The idea of that was enough to cause a small smile to break through his otherwise stony mask.

While the impact from the throw did have a painful effect, due to Titan's considerable mass, he was able to quickly recover and get back to his feet quickly. He'd taken harder falls before. Instead of pressing his assault, Titan's opponent simply went into a fighting stance, perhaps to prepare for Titan's next offensive move. But instead of charging like a wild animal, Titan planned his next move for the first time during this fight. Titan had attacked first three times, and each time the other super managed to counter and use those moves against him. If that kept up, Titan would be gradually worn down to the point where the victor would be clear as day. No, he needed to think like a fighter, not some mindless brute. Keeping his hands open for grappling and crouching into a lower stance, Titan awaited his opponent's next move.
